Lily: Two tickets, for the bus?

Jonathan: So that, if you want, when you turn 18, we don't have to stay here. We can leave Pine Valley.

Ryan: Hey. Aidan fill you in? Kendall's gone?

Erin: I'm so sorry, Ryan.

Ryan: Yeah. So --

[Erin sighs]

Ryan: What do you got? What do you got on where she's headed?

Greg: I can't tell you where Kendall is.

Erica: Don't pretend you're protecting her.

Greg: Because I have no idea.

Erica: You targeted Kendall, because she's my daughter.

Greg: Kendall came to me, because I was treating Greenlee.

Erica: And now you've hidden her where we can't find her. The people who love her cannot find her.

Greg: Why would I do such a thing?

Erica: Because you intend to do to Kendall exactly what you did to me all those years ago.

Greg: Erica, you requested that I end your pregnancy. I did.

Erica: Oh, you are sick, and you are twisted. And you did much more than that.

Julia: Mr. Hayden, Mrs. Hayden --

Mr. Hayden: You want me to tell that doctor he can go ahead? Well, I won't.

Julia: If you'll just speak to Dr. Martin --

Mrs. Hayden: They operated on Bob's father for that, and he died.

Julia: But your son's case is different.

Mr. Hayden: If he's left alone, he'll be all right.

Joe: Mr. Hayden, your son has an aneurysm.

Mr. Hayden: You're the top man around here.

Joe: Yeah.

Mr. Hayden: She told us. You just want to push operations.

[Joe sighs]

Joe: Mr. Hayden, I assure you, my only concern is for --

Josh: Dr. Martin?

Joe: Yes?

Josh: Excuse me for interrupting. Do you mind if I speak with the Haydens for a minute?

J.R.: Hey, you look sort of out of it ever since we took off. Did you get enough sleep?

Babe: I love you.

J.R.: Good. Then you won't have a problem spending the rest of your life with me.

Babe: Hmm. I'm looking forward to every single minute. I'll be fine once I hold Little Adam in my arms again.

J.R.: Well, we couldn't stay in France forever. We'd miss all the excitement in Pine Valley.

Babe: Mm-hmm.

J.R.: Tad and Di’s wedding.

Babe: My crazy father messing in everyone's life.

J.R.: We'll deal with the in-laws and the in-fighting and the general family insanity. But our honeymoon will never end.

Tad: Dixie didn't mention Kate.

Krystal: And you didn't ask?

Tad: Krystal, why should I? If Kate were alive, Dixie would have said something. I mean, Di would certainly know about it. All right, Kate is gone, and I just don't need the details on top of everything else.

Krystal: Oh. I'm sorry.

Tad: If Kate were alive, it'd be a reason to give a damn about Dixie showing up -- about any of it.

Dixie: Now, this is the welcome I expected from you.

Adam: It's not a welcome. It's good-bye. J.R. will never know you were here.

Dixie: So you're just going to murder me?

Adam: Oh, Dixie. I can't murder a woman who's already dead.

Dixie: Do you know what your problem is?

Adam: Yes. And I know a bullet will fix it.

Dixie: You haven't changed, Adam. You're still determined to control my life, J.R.’s life, everybody's life.

Adam: No, just doing a little ghost-busting. It was foolish of you to try to haunt me.

Dixie: This is a new low, Adam.

Adam: Desperate times, desperate measures.

Dixie: I'm J.R.’s mother!

Adam: No, J.R.’s mother is dead. And for his sake, I'm going to see she stays that way.

Dixie: I love him. He loves me.

Adam: You -- you love him? You ripped his heart out of his chest when you went away to Europe. Then you stomped all over it when you "died." But he grieved and came to terms with your death, only to go through the whole mess over again, because of your crazy sister, Di. And all the time, I had to stand by and watch his pain. Well, not again, lady. J.R. is back on track, and he's genuinely happy. And I'm not going to let you ruin his life to ease your guilt. I'd much sooner kill you first. Now, find a paper and pen.

Dixie: Why?

Adam: You're going to write a letter. A good-bye letter, to Tad.

Tad: How is the weather in the South of France, anyway?

Krystal: Oh, come on. Are you saying that you don't care that Dixie’s back?

Tad: Only as far as J.R. is concerned.

Krystal: You were in love with her when you and I were trying to make a go of it.

Tad: Old habits die hard. But this'll pretty much kill it. No, the only thing I'm worried about is what she's going to do to J.R.

Krystal: You can't ignore what it's doing to you, and Di -- your engagement.

Tad: Krystal, just drop it, ok? Neither woman means anything to me anymore. I'm over it, all right? So just leave it alone. Move on. Focus on J.R. Adam's been upstairs a long time.

Winifred: Excuse me. Mrs. Chandler, Little Adam’s awake. Shall I bring him down?

Tad: Where is Adam I?

Winifred: Well, he left some time ago, by the back stairs.

Tad: Of course, he did.

J.R.: I thought you wanted to rev up the honeymoon spirit.

Babe: No peeking!

J.R.: I will be able to open my eyes before we land, right?

Babe: We've got plenty of time. Ok, open them.

J.R.: Wow.

[Babe giggles as she models a lovely blue dress.]

J.R.: I'd remember that.

Babe: I got it in Cannes.

J.R.: Good purchase. Very good purchase.

Babe: Oh, no, no, no, no. There's more. I wanted to bring it home with us.

[Babe shows J.R. a stunning framed sunset landscape.]

J.R.: So you could have that dance.

Babe: You owe me the perfect dance on the beach on Cap Ferrat at sunset.

J.R.: Two of my favorite views.

[Music plays]

J.R.: May I have this dance?

Babe: Once you're properly dressed.

[Babe presents J.R. with a stylish white jacket which he promptly dons.]

J.R.: Wow. You have amazing taste.

Babe: I know.

Singer: Sometimes it's love

Babe: Let's see it on you. Even better, just as I suspected.

J.R.: Yeah.

Singer: Sometimes I feel like giving up

J.R.: Guess I have pretty good taste, too.

Singer: And when I don't know how to find my strength, you're right there taking hold of me singing heaven

Lily: Everybody keeps saying that I shouldn't run away. But it's not really running away if you're old enough to do it and if you know where you're going. Boston, Massachusetts.

Jonathan: And the bus leaves at 8:20 a.m. and it gets into Boston at 7:25 p.m.

Lily: Well, that's a very long drive from Philadelphia to Boston.

Jonathan: That's because it stops in 24 towns and cities along the way. And -- and we have to switch buses in New York.

Lily: MIT is right across the Charles River from Boston.

Jonathan: That's -- that's why I got the tickets. Because you -- you want to go to MIT.

Lily: We need to find a place to live.

Jonathan: Oh, I'll -- I'll get an apartment for us. Well, I'll get a two-bedroom, though, so then we can each have our own rooms.

Lily: Well, that will be expensive.

Jonathan: Well, I'll get a job, and I'll start working and making money while you go to classes.

Lily: Well, what if you don't find a job?

Jonathan: I will. Yeah, I will. I'm really motivated. And I don't care what I do, as long as I'm making enough money to pay the bills, and I can give you the life that you deserve. Oh --

Lily: What is this, another birthday present?

Jonathan: Uh -- well, no, it's part of the same one.

[Jonathan presents Lily with a travel book about their proposed destination.]

Jonathan: It's so that you know everything about where we're going before we go there. That is, if you want to go. And if you don't, Lily, then that's all right, too. I tried to think of everything. I hope I did. I hope I didn't forget anything. But if I did, you would tell me, right? Are you happy, Lily?

Aidan: I don't know what to tell you, Ryan. Kendall has dropped out from beneath the radar. She hasn't used any of her plastic -- her credit card and debit card -- in the last two days.

Ryan: What about her phone records?

Aidan: I checked her home, I checked her cell. She made one call, it was local, and she made that the night before she dropped out of sight, and I'm running a check on that number.

Ryan: Well, we don't even know -- we don't even know if she was planning on leaving then. What about travel?

Aidan: She's not on the manifest of any commercial flight from the East Coast all the way to the Midwest.

Ryan: Which means that she's on a train or she's driving.

Aidan: Well, she hasn't rented a car. I'm checking with limousine companies, I'm checking with the taxis. And her car is in -- is in the usual spot.

Ryan: I mean honestly, she could be anywhere. She could be next door, she could be in the next state. You know, and if we don't find her before she gives birth, I will never see my son.

Aidan: I know.

Erin: Oh -- God, how vindictive can she possibly be? I mean, she already did everything she could to cut you out of your baby's life, and now she disappears.

Aidan: Well, she hasn't done it by herself. So I'm with you on that one. I think she's been abducted against her will. Or she has an accomplice.

Ryan: Well, whichever way it went down, I do know that Greg Madden is behind it.

Greg: You're irrational.

Erica: You know what you did -- you know what you did without my knowledge and without my consent.

Greg: Keep your voice down.

Erica: Oh, why? Why should I do that? You're afraid someone will hear me? Are you afraid Josh will pass by and hear the truth? Well, he will. The whole world will hear the whole, horrible truth of what you did to me, unless you bring my daughter back.

Greg: So you're going to tell them all, are you? Including the fact that you tried to murder me?

Josh: Julia, I'd like to speak with the Haydens alone.

Joe: Julia, I need you to look at some files.

Julia: I don't think Josh is up to this.

Joe: You know, they won't listen to me.

Josh: We all want the same thing for your son -- his full recovery.

Mr. Hayden: Not with you people carving him up.

Josh: He needs this surgery to survive.

Mrs. Hayden: His name's Josh, too. He's a wonderful boy. He just got a puppy and does everything for it. He wants to be a vet when he grows up.

Josh: Well, let's make that possible.

Mr. Hayden: You people can't take our son.

Mrs. Hayden: We can't have any other children. They said we couldn't have any at all.

Mr. Hayden: Doctors.

Mrs. Hayden: Joshua's our miracle. We can't lose him.

Erica: Are you prepared to lose Josh when he hears what you did to me? Are you prepared to lose Josh when he finds out who he really is? I came to you, and you violated me. You treated both Josh and me like lab animals. Don't you dare try to deny it. Don't try to talk yourself out of this one. Because I happen to have genetic proof in Josh. I made my choice, and you took that away from me. You took that away from me without any legal right to do so. And here you are, decades later, attempting to do the same thing to my daughter. You want to take her choice away from her. You took what you wanted from me. And now you intend to take what you want from Kendall. Her baby.

Dixie: A good-bye letter to Tad?

Adam: Yes. Tell him you've come to your senses, and you'll be leaving Pine Valley before J.R. gets back, because you don't want to ruin his life again. Come on.

Dixie: Anything else?

Adam: Yeah, tell him that you won't be back ever, ever again. And tell Tad to keep his mouth shut, because you don't want J.R. to know you're alive. Ok, make it short, to the point.

Dixie: You know, I don't take dictation, Adam, not from you, not from anybody else.

Adam: You're not going to do this to him again. I'm not going to let anyone that he loves lead him on and lie to him and turn his world inside out.

Dixie: Oh, so you're the only one that can ruin J.R.’s life?

Adam: I didn't abandon him for four years. To walk out on his life, to pretend I was dead. And it wasn't just you. Di -- what she put him through? He actually believed that she was you. It's amazing that he didn't crack. He survived it.

Dixie: Adam, listen to me very carefully. Even if I wanted to disappear, it wouldn't work. Too many people know that I'm alive. Too many people have seen me. And eventually, J.R. will start asking questions.

Adam: No, he won't find out.

Dixie: Yes, because you know what this town is like. Nobody can keep their mouth shut. J.R. will talk to people, he'll ask them about me. And can you imagine if he finds out that I was here, and I didn't face him? That's going to be much worse.

Adam: He won't find out! Because you're not going to see him. Now or ever again. Now, write the note and walk out of here. Or be carried out.

Greg: You hate me enough to kill me. You'd have enjoyed watching me die.

Erica: And who wouldn't? Who wouldn't, if they had known what you did? Not just to me, but to Kendall and God knows how many other women.

Greg: I'm not trying to take Kendall’s baby. If a woman doesn't want to keep a child, I advocate adoption.

Erica: Kendall, after all she's been through, would never willingly give up her baby. You brainwashed her.

Greg: How odd. You of all people objecting to her choice.

Erica: If Kendall gives this baby away, it will haunt her for the rest of her life.

Greg: Are you haunted?

Erica: This is not the right choice for Kendall because of who she is.

Greg: Or because of who you are -- a woman who gave away a child and never looked back.

Erica: If you leave Kendall alone, she'll realize she wants this baby.

Greg: It is not up to your daughter to make up for your mistakes.

Erica: I don't want her to make up for my mistakes. I just want my daughter to be happy. I want you to stop pushing her.

Greg: Then you're lecturing the wrong man. Go find Ryan.

Erica: Ryan wants to keep his baby.

Greg: Ryan is behaving as if he owns Kendall and the baby.

Erica: Ryan just wants to raise the baby as his own until Kendall can honestly make up her mind whether or not she wants to give the baby up.

Greg: Kendall made up her mind based on Ryan's history. His background doesn't exactly qualify him for fatherhood.

Erica: Oh. You want to attack Ryan's background? Well, wait till I attack yours. And I will scream it to the media. And you will lose everything.

Greg: Oh, Erica -- Erica -- go on your television show. You tell your audience what I've done. I will be applauded. People will stand up. They'll fight to shake my hand. I saved a life you wanted to discard. I risked everything to keep Josh, when you wanted him gone.

Josh: He fixed the robin's wing?

Mrs. Hayden: Made a splint for it and fed that bird until it could fly away.

Josh: Your miracle son spreads around the miracles. Taking sick animals in, making them better. I want to help your son fulfill his dreams. But first, we have to help him through this.

Mr. Hayden: You won't give up on this operation. You don't get what our son means to us.

Mrs. Hayden: Joshua's our life.

Josh: My mother was told that she would never be able to have children. But then I came along. She and my father referred to me as their miracle child. Mr. Hayden, I understand. You don't know me, maybe you don't have a good reason to trust me. But I swear to you, I want to save your son's life. Everyone in this hospital wants Josh to live a long and happy life. But there's only one way that that's going to happen. And it's not by sitting back and watching him heal. He can't. Not without us. I understand how much Joshua means to you. Believe me. And I want you to keep him. I want him to patch up every animal in this state. But that's only going to happen if you sign this release, and let us operate.

Lily: I really like that the president of MIT is a woman. Did you read that on the website?

Jonathan: She's a neuroscientist. But her pictures make her look really kind and nice.

Lily: I think she's wonderful. And that makes MIT an even better place for me.

Jonathan: It's going to be great, Lily. It's going to be the best life, ever.

Ryan: Hey, Jonathan, is that you?

Jonathan: That's Ryan. Hide.

Lily: Well, we won't have to hide when I'm 18.

Jonathan: I know, but we do now, so hide, ok? And I'll get rid of him or something.

Ryan: Hey.

Jonathan: Hi.

Ryan: Hey, man, what's -- what's going on?

Jonathan: Nothing. I'm just hanging out. I was looking at the water and everything.

Ryan: Oh. And where's your friend?

Jonathan: What friend?

Erin: Um -- whoever you were talking to?

Jonathan: I wasn't. I'm alone.

Aidan: Oh, really? So -- what, you usually pack a picnic and eat from two plates?

Ryan: Look, Jonathan, your friend sounded like it was a girl. Please, we got enough trouble right now. Tell me you didn't bring Lily here.

Singer: I'll be the one to take your hand whenever you and I

J.R.: What did you wish for when you saw that shooting star?

Babe: If I tell you, it might not come true.

Singer: Whoever doubts that

J.R.: Mine was notre amour ne meure jamais.

Babe: Does that mean something as beautiful as it sounds?

Singer: Heaven

J.R.: Our love will never die.

Singer: We take on the world for romance

Tad: Where is she? Where's Dixie?

Adam: Oh, you just missed her.

Tad: Where did she go?

Adam: She's left Pine Valley permanently. She won't be giving us or J.R. any more trouble.

Tad: You expect me to believe that Dixie just walked out?

Adam: Well, she's done it before. Uh -- I explained to her that she was being selfish, that it would kill J.R. if she just dropped back into his life.

Tad: She just left her clothes?

Adam: She's traveling light.

Tad: You're lying.

Babe: What are you thinking?

J.R.: That we need a seat and a seat belt for two. You?

Babe: Notre amour ne meure jamais.

Tad: Dixie wouldn't leave without saying good-bye.

Adam: Oh. She left you this.

Tad: "Dear Tad, I'm sorry I reopened old wounds. The only way to avoid causing you all more grief is to leave. Please don't tell J.R. I was here. I'm too ashamed, and I don't want him to suffer. Good luck and good-bye forever. Love, Dixie."

Erica: How dare you try to condemn me. Don't you get it? Don't you understand? It was never your choice to make. And you have no idea why I chose as I did.

Greg: I know it was wrong.

Erica: It was right for me.

Greg: Was it right for Josh?

Erica: Oh. The point is you used me, and worse, you used Josh.

Greg: Used him? I gave him my name. I created a family with him at the center.

Erica: Oh, "center," yes. He's the centerpiece like something on your mantel.

Greg: Josh is my son. I love him. I am proud of him.

Erica: No. You are proud of you. You did what no other doctor could. Josh is a living, breathing monument to your arrogance, to your brilliance as a scientist. Well, Josh once told me that your idea of love was manipulation and control, and, boy, was he right about you.

Josh: Even when the doctors told you that you would never have a child, you didn't believe them, right? You believed in something greater.

Mr. Hayden: We prayed until our prayers were answered.

Josh: And you got your miracle. Your son came into this life blessed. He cares about other people, other creatures. He takes care of them. Let us do the same for him.

Mrs. Hayden: Your parents must be so proud.

Erica: You are crazy. You took my embryo and implanted it in your wife just to further your own career.

Greg: My wife needed to have a --

Erica: Oh, Josh told me. You sold him that story about a suicidal mom and her miracle baby.

Greg: It wasn't a story.

Erica: Do you have any idea what kind of pressure you put on Josh? You made him responsible for his mother's survival, for her life. Well, when Josh finds out the truth about you and about his birth, he will turn against you, and then you can kiss your creation good-bye.

Ryan: Ok, so if you weren't here with Lily, then who were you talking with?

Aidan: And where is she now?

Jonathan: This was a private meeting.

Erin: Yes. That's why we're worried.

Ryan: You're clear, right? You understand that Jackson doesn't want you anywhere near Lily.

Jonathan: Ryan, Jack's wrong.

Ryan: But he's her father, ok, and -- and he could make your life really miserable.

Erin: And Lily's life miserable.

Ryan: Hockett, it's true.

Erin: That's why you're not supposed to see her anymore, ok?

Ryan: Jonathan, who were you having a picnic with? The truth.

Amanda: Jonathan. You're not ashamed of me, are you?

Jonathan: Amanda? No. Why --

Amanda: My thank-you for the picnic.

[Amanda hands Jonathan a bouquet of flowers then kisses him while Lily watches from her hiding place.]

Amanda: Jonathan, you really know how to show a girl a good time. I have a thing for picnics, and he surprised me.

Jonathan: Um -- I'm surprised, too -- by the -- by the flowers. I -- I didn't know that you -- you were still here.

Amanda: Like I would skip out on one of the nicest guys I know. Hey, why don't you guys join us? Hey, what'd you bring for dessert?

Jonathan: Cupcakes, but I only have two.

Erin: You know, I think we're going to go home.

Ryan: Yeah, I think we're going to go home.

Erin: Yeah.

Ryan: Look, I -- hey, I'm sorry I gave you a hard time, all right? Why didn't you just say that it was Amanda that you were here with?

Amanda: He wasn't sure that we should go public since he and Lily just split.

Ryan: Oh, you guys broke up? How did she take it?

Jonathan: I -- I haven't told her yet.

Ryan: It's ok. Look, have a good time, all right? I'll see you later.

Jonathan: Ok, ok. I'll see you at home.

Ryan: Ok.

Erin: Have fun, ok?

Jonathan: All right, thank you.

Ryan: Have fun.

Amanda: Ok, bye.

Jonathan: You, too.

Amanda: See you guys. See you soon.

Jonathan: You were so great.

Amanda: Whew.

[Amanda laughs.]

Lily: You told me that dating Amanda wasn't what you wanted, that it didn't work.

Jonathan: It -- it didn't.

Lily: That kiss worked. You fit together perfectly.

Amanda: Oh, no, no. Lily, it was just a kiss.

Lily: I can't kiss you like that. I can't touch you all the time. You need someone like her.

Jonathan: No, I don't.

Amanda: No, Lily --

Jonathan: Lily, it was --

Amanda: We were just pretending.

Lily: No, it's ok. Give Amanda the early birthday present. You can take her to Boston.

Greg: You think Josh will turn against me for giving him life?

Erica: You played God.

Greg: But a merciful God. You, on the other hand -- well, don't leave that up to me. Let's present our case to your television audience. Try me in the court of public opinion. Let's see who they support.

Erica: I am more concerned about Josh.

Greg: Several decades too late. I'm not concerned about Josh. I know he'll be right by my side at the press conference.

Erica: If you really thought he'd understand, you would've told him this ages ago.

Greg: I was waiting for the right time.

Erica: There is no right time, because you know that Josh will never accept what you did, and neither will the public and neither will I.

Greg: Erica, I paid you the highest compliment I could pay any woman when I chose you. And how could I not? You were brilliant, you were gorgeous, you were spirited. I knew your child would be just like you -- perfect.

Erica: You chose. You chose to steal someone's baby.

Greg: Not "someone's" and not just anyone's. My only regret is that Josh isn't ours biologically, Erica -- yours and mine.

Erica: My only regret is that you are not already burning in hell.

[David lets himself into the Chandler Mansion and closes the front door.]

Krystal: Adam? Tad?

[Krystal sighs]

Krystal: Out -- out. I have enough to deal with today.

David: Oh, I bet. Where is everybody -- out hunting Dixie?

Krystal: None of your business.

David: I saw Tad on my way up here. I waved, but he was too busy trying to keep his car on the road. Must've been going at least 80.

Krystal: How do I get rid of you?

David: Tad knows Dixie’s alive. He's seen her, talked with her. How is J.R. handling it?

Krystal: J.R. and Babe are out of town.

David: Huh. One hell of a news flash to come home to, huh?

Krystal: Yeah, tell me about it.

David: And where's Dixie? Upstairs?

Krystal: Hell, no. Would you get out, David? I don't need a vulture on my shoulder.

David: Can't I just be concerned about our daughter? This news is going to rock her marriage.

Krystal: I'll handle Babe.

David: And where was Tad headed, hmm? Join forces with Adam? And speaking of Adam, I mean, how did your hubby handle the latest resurrection of his ex-wife? Now, I'm not a gambling man, but I'd have to bet --

Krystal: Would you shut up, David, and just stay away from me and Adam and Tad and Dixie and that casino and stay out of our lives.

David: Tad and Adam are with Dixie at the casino?

Krystal: No, no, no!

David: This I got to see.

Krystal: David, no, no.

David: This is going to be unforgettable.

Krystal: Don't you mix in this. David. David, stay here. Da -- Da-- you sadistic creep!

Adam: Are you going to honor Dixie’s request and not tell J.R.?

Tad: I would if this were Dixie’s request, but she didn't write that.

Adam: Don't be ridiculous.

Tad: It's printed, Adam -- in block lettering? That's not Dixie’s signature.

Adam: Well, if you wanted to avoid detection, wouldn't you change your handwriting?

Tad: Not if I were finally home back from the dead, and I was signing my name.

Adam: Dixie wasn't home, not here, not anymore.

Tad: You wrote that.

Adam: Huh. The woman already threw you over once. And she ran away for Europe, because she didn't give a damn about you or her son. It was just -- this was just a repeat performance. What don't you get?

Tad: For the last time, I want to know where is Dixie and what'd you do with her?

[Tad backs away when Adam pulls his gun on him.]

Adam: You're going to find a way to forget that Dixie was ever here, or I'll make sure you never say a word to my son.

Jonathan: Lily? Lily, I -- I can't give your birthday present to Amanda.

Lily: You can kiss her whenever you want.

Jonathan: I don't want to kiss her --

Amanda: No, we can't. No offense.

Jonathan: I'm sorry, I --

Lily: And you can save money by renting a one-bedroom apartment.

Jonathan: You are my girlfriend, Lily.

Lily: But you just said that you hadn't told me you broke up with me yet.

Jonathan: I -- I was lying. I was fibbing, so that they wouldn't know that you were here.

Amanda: Lily, listen, it was all an act, a cover, ok? That's why I kissed Jonathan -- to throw them off the track.

Jonathan: Amanda, will you pick some more flowers or something while I talk to Lily for a minute?

Amanda: Sure.

Jonathan: Thank you.

[Amanda hands the bouquet of flowers to Lily and leaves the tree house.]

Amanda: They were really for you.

Jonathan: I got the tickets for us, because I love you and because I -- I want to be with you always. I want to make you happy, and I don't care if it's -- if it's here or in Boston or -- or even if it's on another planet, as long as we can be together. Not you hiding over there and me lying over here together. That's why I want to go away. But if it's not going to be with you, well, then I really don't care where I am or what I'm doing, because I won't be happy. I just want to be with you.

Lily: I want to be with you, too. So on the day I turn 18, at 8:20 in the morning, we'll use those tickets and go to Boston.

[In the park, Eric hugs Aidan then kisses him.]

Aidan: What was that for?

Erin: Everything you've done for Jonathan.

Aidan: Jonathan's dating Amanda.

Erin: And everything that you're doing for Ryan.

Aidan: And what about what I'm doing for you?

Erin: I love you for all of it. I love you.

Joe: Their son's being prepped. Good work.

Josh: Oh, they were scared, that's all.

Joe: Hmm. I'm very proud of you.

Josh: Thanks.

Julia: Who would've thought you had it in you? Hey -- hey. Easy.

Ryan: Hey, where -- where the hell is Greg Madden? Is he here?

Julia: Uh -- what's going on, Ryan?

Ryan: I have to get the truth out of that man even if I have to rip his head off to do it.

Greg: If you had had your way, if Josh hadn't been there to save my life --

Erica: Just tell me where my daughter is, and you can keep your son.

Greg: But Josh was there to save my life, so your attempt on my life was unsuccessful, so it's not too late.

Erica: It's not too late to take Kendall’s baby?

Greg: No. It's not too late for us, Erica -- for you and me.

Adam: I should've taken care of you when you first stuck your nose into J.R.’s life.

Tad: Adam, tell me you didn't use that on Dixie.

Adam: Dixie helped you take J.R. away from me, didn't she? And for what? So she could abandon him and then drop back into his life four years later? To ruin his life all over again? No, no, no!

Tad: So you got rid of her? Adam, what did you do?

Adam: What had to be done.

[Tad wrestles the gun away from Adam.]

J.R.: Yeah, see, they crated your antique chest.

Babe: Maybe it's in customs.

J.R.: No, no, it just came off the plane.

Babe: I hope it got here in one piece.

J.R.: Here it is. This should help me get it open.

[Dixie lies unconscious inside the crate that J.R. is trying to pry open.]

>> On the next "All My Children" --

Erica (to Greg): You sick pervert! I will kill you if I have to.

David (pointing a gun at Tad and Adam): Who wants to die first?

J.R. (to Babe): Whatever's coming out of this crate's coming out in one piece -- right now.
