Erica: There.

Man: Oh. Thanks, Miss Kane.

Erica: Oh, thank you.

[Erica receives the bottle of non-traceable poison she ordered on the Internet.]

Erica's voice: "To be prescribed only in cases of severe cardiac --" ah.

[Knock on door]

Erica's voice: "Improper dosage or consumption may cause dizziness, shortness of breath, severely increased blood pressure, and cardiac tamponade or cardiac arrest resulting in death."

Tad: Trying to pretend you're not home?

Erica: Oh.

Tad: Oh, well, I didn't mean to give you a heart attack. I'm sorry.

Erica: Oh, no, of course not, you didn't. I just -- my head was somewhere else.

Tad: Yeah, well, you wanted me to come over, so what's on your mind?

Erica: Taking care of Greg Madden.

Kendall: Oh, Dr. Madden.

Greg: Hello.

Kendall: Hi.

Greg: I hope I'm not too early.

Kendall: No.

Greg: I wanted to make sure you had this.

Kendall: Oh. What is it?

Greg: It's a dossier on the Rivingtons. They're wonderful people. Both Jennifer and Joel are attorneys, but Jennifer -- she quit the firm when she wanted to become a full-time mother. They've tried to conceive for a year, but now they're willing to adopt. You couldn't find better people to raise your baby, and your son couldn't have better parents. And believe me, when an infertile woman holds a newborn baby in her arms for the first time, genetic origin doesn't matter, not one tiny bit.

[Lying on the couch, Ryan quietly listens to every word.]

Josh: How many times does J.R. get to trash you before you get it? J.R. bad, Babe good.

Babe: Yeah, I'm real good. Like if you've ever been in love, you would understand.

Josh: Hey, since the first time I saw you, Babe, I fell madly, deeply, truly in love with you.

Babe: You're clueless. If you ever get a shot at the person you adore, you take it.

Josh: Yeah, preferably with a .44 magnum.

J.R.: Get away from my wife.

David: Sorry to interrupt your typing, but I need to see your sister.

Del: Yeah? Well, Diís not home.

David: Well, then tell your other sister I'm here. Dixie would love to see me.

Dixie: Oh, thank you. I'm not really thirsty.

Zach: You can take your pills this way or through your veins, your choice.

Dixie: All right. I'll take it.

[Knock on door]

Zach: Whew. You're too weak for this.

Dixie: I can't put it off.

Di: Oh. I must have the wrong room. I'm sorry. I was looking --

Zach: She's right here.

David: I'm not going anywhere until I see Dixie. I've missed her. You can't hold out on me, Del -- too late.

Del: You've been testing some new hallucinogenic, doc?

David: No, I'm perfectly clearheaded. How about you?

Del: How many fingers am I holding up?

David: No, no, no. The real question is, how many sisters, how many living, breathing sisters? Two that I know of -- Di and Dixie.

Del: Huh, you're crazy.

David: What a marketing coup, Del. Your book is destined to be a bestseller. "Hunkle Down," a saga of passion, family secrets, castaway siblings, kidney swaps, a tragic death, and the ultimate twist -- Dixie Cooney Martin alive after all. But it can't just be literary license -- no, no. Those books won't fly off the shelves unless it happens to be true. "So here she is, folks -- Dixie Martin, alive in the flesh. Want to know how she survived death and resurrection? Read my book."

[David laughs]

David: Brilliant, Del. I applaud you. Now where's Dixie? I want to welcome her back from the grave.

Dixie: Welcome. Sit down if you like, try to relax.

Di: Are -- are you kidding? I mean, I thought it was weird enough that you were holed up in the place where I worked, but now my boss is in on it, too.

Zach: It's not a plot, Di.

Di: Well, what would you call it -- an ambush?

Dixie: Call it whatever you want.

Di: You know, you -- why are you guys jerking me around? I mean, first he shows up at Tad's in the middle of the night with some mystery person that needs to see Tad right away -- that's you, I guess. I mean, did she send you to Tad or was that your idea to reunite them?

Zach: Does it matter?

Di: I guess not as much as why you didn't go through with it. What happened, Zach? I mean, you got a phone call. You again?

Dixie: Yes. I told him not to do it.

Di: Because you changed your mind, or because you were having a little fun messing with mine?

J.R.: Why don't you torture a patient who can't afford better care?

Josh: You know, that's funny, J.R., but you know what's not funny is that you've used the custody of your own child to beat the hell out of Babe emotionally, and you know it.

Babe: Josh, this is --

Josh: And you've --

Babe: None of your business.

J.R. No, it's ok, it's ok. Yeah, I treated Babe like dirt. And I regret every minute of it, but I'm not going to sit here and listen to lectures from the creep who drugged Erica just to take over her career.

Josh: There's not a shred of proof.

J.R.: What? That you're a pathetic loser? Everybody knows what you did to Erica and then tried to pin it on Amanda Dillon.

Josh: Oh, yeah. Well, if it's so open-and-shut and everybody knows it, how come Erica hasn't pressed charges against me? Because she's so saint-like and forgiving?

Erica: Burning in hell for eternity is too good for Greg Madden.

Tad: Well, that's a little out of my racket. What do you want me to do?

Erica: I can't be the only woman that he -- violated.

Tad: Erica, we've been through this before. I dug as deeply as I possibly could.

Erica: Then you know what, Tad? You missed something, because there must be other women who he harmed. I mean, there must be other crimes. There must be some scandal that we can use to get his license revoked.

Tad: Ok. It's possible there might be some other ex-patient of his that wants him strung up, but --

Erica: Yes, look in other cities, look harder, other cities back at the time when he took my --

Tad: Babe, I've done everything I know how to do. I'm sorry. I mean, I dug, I sifted, I interviewed. All I got were rave reviews. I mean, the man is a fertility messiah. He gives babies to the hopeless and desperate. Trust me, if he's covered his tracks, he's done it perfectly.

Erica: Look, Greg Madden doesn't care a bit what his patients want. He thinks he knows better, he decides. He takes -- he takes an embryo from one pregnant woman, and he implants it in another. And who knows how many times he's done that or what else he's done?

Tad: Scary to think.

Erica: And what gives him the right? Can you imagine? He tells a woman that she miscarried? He tells her that, "I'm sorry, because of your health issues, we have to terminate this pregnancy," and she never knows that another woman carried her baby and is raising her baby. And Kendall is still under his care -- my own daughter.

Tad: Well, we're just going to have to get her a new Ob-Gyn.

Erica: Kendall won't listen. She thinks that Greg is looking out for her best interests.

Tad: We'll find a way to get her away from him eventually.

Erica: "Eventually"? Are you kidding? I don't have time to wait for "eventually." Who knows how many other babies he will take from -- from the real parents and how many other lives he will ruin, Kendallís included? No, I -- I've got to stop it. I have got to put an end to this.

Greg: You have the power to give a great gift to this child you're carrying, and also to the Rivingtons. And Jennifer and Joel -- they're prepared to dedicate their life to nurturing and loving the child. You couldn't ask for better people to cherish your baby.

Kendall: Yeah, well, I'll read this. I really appreciate your concern.

Greg: Of course.

Kendall: Thanks.

Ryan: What the hell was that?

Kendall: Dr. Madden just dropped off something he wants me to read.

Ryan: Yeah, I -- I heard all that. I guess what I'm asking is what -- what happened before I woke up? Because we fell asleep right here talking about our son, hoping what he'd be like. You remember -- your eyes, my sense of humor -- so how did you wake up ready to give our son to complete strangers?

Kendall: I have not made any decisions about the baby yet.

Ryan: You're just exploring all options, as long as they come from Greg Madden?

Kendall: I didn't ask him to come over.

Ryan: Oh. Well, I guess you just got lucky. Maybe he's going door to door asking for babies.

Kendall: Ok, you know what? You know that I can't see myself as a mother, as a single mother. I'm not the motherly type, single or otherwise.

Ryan: A lot of parents are freaked out before the birth of their child, ok, Kendall? Maybe just the -- the nesting instincts -- they haven't sunk in yet, but they will. They will tomorrow or the next day --

Kendall: Ok, and if they don't?

Ryan: They will.

Kendall: Ryan -- Ryan, what if I have to do what you don't want but what I think is best for the baby?

Ryan: Just give yourself a chance, please.

Kendall: For what, Ryan? To wait for a miracle? I need a backup plan in case your maternal bonding prediction flops. So you think you're up for it? You want to be a single dad?

Ryan: You're not considering all the options, Kendall.

Kendall: Julia Santos is not an option if that's what you're talking about. There is no way under any circumstances that woman will ever be co-parenting my child. So, you want to do this solo?

Ryan: My son deserves a mother that loves him.

Kendall: Well -- well, I'm sure he'll have one, and she could be right here. Look. Ok, let's see here. Ok -- "Jennifer, 34, and Joel, 36." They have horses -- Morgans -- and four dogs -- three mutts and a Labrador Retriever -- and two cats. Busy household. Ah, ah -- "and they live in a very large home on a bucolic, child-friendly estate." It sounds very nice.

Ryan: Tell me, please, what's wrong with this picture -- Kendall Hart, you, touting the glories of adoption?

Kendall: My situation with my adoptive family was not the norm.

Ryan: I'm not saying that it was, Kendall.

Kendall: Well, most adopted children fit well with their adoptive families, and they grow up happy and satisfied.

Ryan: I don't doubt that. I don't. I'm just --

Kendall: The birth mother and the adoptive parents -- they band together to give the child the greatest gift of all -- a love-filled, supportive life. Talk to him about it. He'll be able to explain it much better than I can.

Ryan: "He," Greg Madden? You want me to talk to Greg Madden about this?

Kendall: Yes, yes. Dr. Madden deals with this all the time with parents.

Ryan: Look, I can't. I -- I got a meeting.

Ryan: We'll talk more later.

Tad: There's only one sure way for you to get Kendall away from Greg. That's to go public.

Erica: Go public?

Tad: Mm-hmm.

Erica: Publicize what Greg Madden did to me?

Tad: Mm-hmm. Yep. Get Derek to press criminal charges. File the malpractice suit of all malpractice suits.

Erica: And then the world will know, including Josh, all the sordid details.

Tad: It'll be rough.

Erica: It would ruin him, it would ruin my family -- Bianca, Kendall.

Tad: It would get Kendall away from Madden.

Erica: At what cost?

Tad: Exactly. That's the trick, isn't it? Right now you've got that little monster safely in your pocket. You decide to take it out and unleash it. How many lives are you willing to destroy?

Dixie: Boy, I didn't realize you were the center of the universe and everything I do is about you. You really think I enjoy staying away from my family?

Di: No, I think you like using it to torture me.

Dixie: Oh, yeah. Oh, it's -- it's just a thrill being on the outside, watching J.R. suffer, watching his child suffer and not being able to do anything or say anything or talk to him or comfort him.

Di: You were able to, you just wouldn't.

Dixie: You do not know what you're talking about.

Di: Well, keeping your distance and staying dead is your choice.

Dixie: You have no idea what choices I do or do not have.

Di: Right, and how can I unless you tell me, Dixie? I mean, I'm sworn to secrecy. That's fine. What do you want from me? You -- you want to be dead and -- and gone for good? Great. I mean, if you want everyone to keep thinking that, why are you still here? Why do you keep popping in and out of my life? I mean, am I protecting your -- your secret so that you can get discovered and blow it all yourself? And you know -- and what is his role in this? Protector or something more?

Dixie: I got into some trouble and Zach helped me. He's been extremely kind.

Di: Sort of saved you?

Zach: I gave Dixie a break, sort of like when people get a job if they don't deserve it after they screw up?

Di: I appreciate you giving me that chance.

Zach: I don't judge other people anymore.

Di: Lest you be judged? Hmm.

Zach: I used to enjoy revenge. But I -- I don't do that anymore, either.

Tad: Erica, revenge is a very tricky thing. Yeah, sometimes the -- the people you hate suffer, but more often than not, the people you love suffer even more.

Erica: But I'm not after Greg for revenge.

Tad: You have smoke coming out of your ears.

Erica: Well, do you think someone that warped suddenly went straight? That he's not right now conducting some other sick experiment on some other unsuspecting pregnant woman?

Tad: I wouldn't be surprised if he was involved in something like that, no.

Erica: Well, Kendall happens to be one such expectant mother.

Tad: And you would do anything you had to protect her. You'd tear out Greg's eyes with red-hot pokers, you'd go after his heart with a power drill, and I don't even want to think about the creative choices you'd make for the rest of him.

Erica: Well, I do happen to think that nothing is too bad for him.

Tad: Exactly. If you're thinking about doing something illegal, you reconsider, ok? Because if you do it and it backfires, the people you're trying to protect -- they're the ones that are going to get burned.

[Sitting alone at home, Kendall pours over the material Greg gave her.]

J.R.: I don't give a damn. Josh Madden stays out of my wife's room. Why'd you hire the guy anyway? The guy's a joke.

Joe: I hired Josh because the staffing decisions are mine to make.

J.R.: But a skeeve like him? I mean, you're the human litmus test of honesty. You have standards. Josh's standards are -- well, hell, he doesn't even have any. Did you not get the memo? He is the one who drugged Erica. That's why she stabbed Slater.

Ryan: Erica --

Erica: Ryan, what is it?

Ryan: You have no idea.

Erica: Is it Kendall? Is it Kendall? Is it the baby? Where is she?

Ryan: No, no, it's not, but I swear to God, if Madden gets his way, I am, like, this close to ripping off his head and shoving it down his throat.

Zach: Anything you need, you call me.

Dixie: Thank you.

Di: What's going on? Why is he treating you like some fragile flower? Something wrong with you?

Dixie: I wasn't feeling well, but I'm fine now.

Di: Now you can tell me why I'm here.

Dixie: I know you're worried that I will tell your boyfriend, Tad, that I'm alive and mess up your tragic love life.

Di: Yeah, that's been on my mind.

Dixie: So, kind and loving sister that I am, I thought I would tell you that I've made a decision, that I know what I'm going to do.

Di: I knew it. Of course, you want to tell Tad and J.R. that you're alive and that you want them back. I mean --

Dixie: Well, yes, I do.

Di: You couldn't be this close and watch them and hear them and know what they're going through and not want to help them. And really, I'm -- I'm grateful, honestly, for the warning. How long do I have? I mean, are you -- are you going to go over there tonight or tomorrow or right now or --

Dixie: How is my son? Is J.R. all right?

J.R.: So you pick. Venice or Pine Valley?

Tad: Hey. Somebody's obviously feeling better.

J.R.: I feel great. You?

Babe: Fantastic.

J.R.: What are you doing March 23?

Tad: I'm watching Little A smash his face into a birthday cake, why?

J.R.: Well, what would you say about Babe smashing wedding cake into my face? We figured Little Adamís birthday would be a great day to have our wedding.

Tad: That's wonderful. Congratulations. I'm proud of you. We'll definitely be there. Um -- I mean, I'll definitely be there. Kind of depends. Is Di still invited to the wedding?

J.R.: Di's invited.

[A pleased Babe gives J.R. a kiss of approval.]

Di: J.R.ís changed.

Dixie: For the better?

Di: He's turned some kind of corner. Maybe it was almost losing Babe and Little Adam. He -- I don't -- he seems lighter now.

Dixie: What do you mean, "lighter"? How?

Di: Well, he's let go of a lot of his anger and bitterness. I mean, that's -- that's the way I see it.

Dixie: I want him to be happy and love his life.

Di: I'd say he's on his way. But, Dixie, you can ask him yourself soon enough.

Dixie: I want your impressions.

Di: Oh. Well, at the cabin, when -- when he found Babe and Little Adam, as relieved and as happy as he was, he was out for Janet's blood. You know, but then at the hospital, that's where the real change came in. He proposed to Babe. And she told him to go to hell. He was completely devastated.

Dixie: He was stronger than that.

Di: Yeah, he realized how deeply he had hurt Babe by just assuming she'd taken off with his son, when really, she was risking her life to save him. He -- he all of the sudden saw himself through Babe's eyes. Through Little Adamís eyes, too. He had to let go of all the old anger he had been holding on to for so long. If he wanted Babe and Little Adam to be with him, to love him, he had to go back to the person he was before he was hurt so badly. And he forgave us. One by one, he meant it. Jamie and Babe, Tad, Krystal -- even David.

[While Di speaks of J.R., he is at the hospital happily bonding with Tad.]

Del: You know, whether you're pulling this out of thin air or someone's pulling your leg, you don't know jack.

David: You know, you might be right about that. But I do know Dixie. And I know she's breathing, living, walking and talking.

Del: Look, I can't tell you anything about Dixie until I hear otherwise, ok?

David: Hear otherwise from whom? Dixie herself?

Dixie: J.R. couldn't have learned much about forgiveness from Adam.

Di: But this came from his heart. J.R. -- it's like a rebirth. And I know that sounds really dramatic, but he was able to forgive me, and I don't deserve forgiveness. And he meant every word. He invited me to their wedding. Yeah, I mean --

Dixie: What about Babe? Is she sincere? She loves him?

Di: Yeah. Well, they -- they married so young. They didn't know each other. And now they've seen the worst of each other. They've fought, they've made up. And they found somewhere at the bottom of all their confused feelings, and they -- I think they've found the real thing. You know love that survives no matter what, so --

Dixie: That's all that matters.

Di: Yeah.

Dixie: And you have that kind of love for my son?

Di: Yeah. I -- well, I mean, why? Was I -- was I wrong? You're not -- you're not going to J.R. and Tad? You're -- you're going to leave?

Dixie: Well, would J.R. be as happy if he knew about me? Or would it all come back again? All the bitterness about why I left and why I stayed away?

Di: Well, you're not going to know unless you tell him.

Dixie: You know.

Di: Yeah, but you're the one that gave birth to J.R. You're the one that nursed him, you're the one that rocked him and sang him to sleep with -- with "You Are My Sunshine." You guys have a bond that -- that I can't match. Nobody can match.

Dixie: What are you trying to do? You trying to make me stay?

Di: I just want to know what you plan to do. I'm not going to tell you either way.

Ryan: I mean, it doesn't make any sense, like none at all. Kendall can't even say the word "adoption." I mean, she's got her own history messing her up, and you --

Erica: Of course.

Ryan: You know how stubborn she can be. So listen to me? Why would she listen to me? I mean, I'm only the father of the child. But of course, Madden lines up some potential parents, and they hand over an essay saying how badly they want this child. And she's actually considering it. Erica, how does this happen? What -- what does he do? Did he brainwash her?

Era: Oh, Greg Madden has manipulated other vulnerable women for a long time.

Ryan: I mean, she's ready to hand over our son to complete strangers.

Erica: I'll take care of it.

Ryan: Well, how? What, are you going to send her to a clinic in Europe for a couple of months? I mean, it's not going to happen. He's got her right where he wants her.

Erica: Well, Greg Madden will have to let her go.

Ryan: I mean, you called it. You definitely called it. You said he was dangerous, and you were right. And I can't even argue with her about this, because she's so stressed already. I don't want to make it worse, but the guy is deciding my son's future.

Erica: Well, don't talk to her about this. Don't bring up the subject of Greg Madden or the adoption.

Ryan: How can you be so calm about this?

Erica: Because, Ryan, I guarantee that Greg Madden will no longer have any influence over Kendall or your baby.

[Standing on Fusion's rooftop terrace, Kendall recalls past events.]

Ryan's voice: I don't get it, Kendall. I don't -- I don't understand how someone can try and help you, and you can't push them away fast enough.

Kendall's voice: You know what? That's right, you don't get it, and you never --

Greenlee's voice: What you're doing for me -- helping me have his baby. Someday soon, I'll have a part of Ryan to hold at night and to wake up to in the morning. I'll have a future again, because of you. And I love you for it.

Ryan: All right, Kendall, please, just get down.

Kendall: No, Ryan, get off of me! This is mine. I am on top of the world right now. I own this town! Look at me, this is fantastic! I am standing here on top of my empire, Fusion, right here. There's Chandler Enterprises right over there. There's Enchantment right over there and Erica's little penthouse in the sky. And all of this -- all of this belongs to me. It's mine --

Ryan: Hey, hey, Kendall --

Kendallís voice: I can't explain it to you. I've already gone too far. Ryan, please, why can't you just take me on my word?

Ryan's voice: Why can't you just take me at my word? Who's the bigger fool here, Kendall? Who is it, you? Or me for coming after you?

Erica: Greg, it's Erica.

Greg: Erica. What can I do for you?

Erica: Well, I hope this isn't a mistake. I just honestly didn't know who else to call.

Greg: What is it? Is it -- what's happened?

Erica: I need someone -- I know it sounds silly, but -- well, I'm just in desperate need of some reassurance and -- well, Greg, do you think that you could come over to my place?

Greg: When?

Erica: Well, I know you're probably very busy, but could you come over now? Sooner, if possible.

Greg: I'm on my way.

Kendall's voice: What's that, Daddy?

Bill's voice: Plans for a playhouse, sweetheart. I'll build it for you out back by the hedges.

Kendall's voice: What for?

Bill's voice: Well, to make you happy, Kendall. So you'll have a nice place to play. You told Mommy you want another house, so I thought --

Kendallís voice: Not to play in, to live, and not a dinky little house like ours. I want to live in a mansion, a palace.

Kendall: Will a playhouse do for you, or you going to hold your breath until you get a palace? The Rivingtons have a mansion, so how's that? Will that be all right? They -- they want a child to love. And me, I just -- why can't I connect? What is wrong with me?

Erica: Greg. It's -- it's so good of you to come.

Greg: Well, you sounded so as if -- is there trouble?

Erica: It's Kendall. What else?

Greg: Nothing's happened to the baby?

Erica: No. No, it -- it's Kendall herself. She's just avoiding me.

Greg: Well, she has had a lot to deal with.

Erica: And I really would like to help her through that, but for some reason, she just -- she wants nothing to do with me.

Greg: Well, she needs time to rest and get away from that constant conflict with Ryan and Zach.

Erica: And I really have no intention of adding to that stress. I want to help her, believe me. I am just so worried about my daughter.

Greg: You don't have to worry. Kendall and the baby are in perfect health.

Erica: Thank you. It's so good to hear you say that. I mean, just the way you say that -- it's just so reassuring, and it is just -- it's so confident. I thank you so much. I mean, usually I would turn to Jack for words of support.

Greg: Well, you'll have him out of the hospital soon enough.

Erica: Well, I hope so, but not soon enough. I -- I really do need someone to just talk to, someone who will listen to my worries, to my concerns.

Greg: Well, that's easy.

Erica: Greg, do you have to rush back to the hospital, or could you stay for a while? Maybe have some tea?

David: Come on, Del. Come clean. You're tripping over your own words.

Del: Whatever you thought you heard --

David: "See Del stammer. Stammer, Del, stammer."

Del: I meant I was just --

David: You meant that Dixie would be ticked if you gave away her secret too early.

Del: There isn't any secret, ok? I meant it'd be great if someone called and told me somehow Dixie was still alive, yes, and I would scream it to the entire world.

David: Janet Dillon saw her at the Mardi Gras Ball.

Del: Janet Dillon?

David: Yeah.

Del: And you bought it? Janet, the kidnapping crazy who stuffed her own husband and your daughter into her freezer? She tried convincing Dixie our brother, Will, was still alive years after killing him. She's sick.

David: You know, when you put it that way --

Del: What, you got another way?

David: I guess I believed Janet, because I wanted it to be true. I want Dixie to be alive and well.

Del: Yeah, me, too. But wishing doesn't make it so.

David: "See Del tap-dance. Tap, Del, tap." Dixie, could it be?

Dixie: All a mother can really ask for is that her child is happy, and you say J.R. is. If I came back into his life now, I could hurt him so much, he might never recover.

Di: But you love him.

Dixie: He has Babe's love and Tad's love, and yours. He's finally found his way. I can't risk ruining that, not again.

Di: So you're going to leave?

Dixie: I don't want to. I didn't want to four years ago, but it seemed like the right thing to do. Four years later --

Di: You know what, J.R. -- he might understand.

Dixie: "Might" isn't good enough. He'll want answers -- where have I been? What have I been doing? -- And I'm not ready to tell him things he'll need to know in order to make sense of what I've done. Look, he's -- he's finally putting his life together again. He's happy. And Tad -- you love them. You love both of them, don't you? And you'll take care of them? And J.R.ís child and Jamie and -- you'll look out for them?

Di: As much as they'll let me.

Dixie: That's all I can ask.

[Dixie and Di hug.]

J.R.: Do you believe in destiny? Well, it's all good from now on, as long as we have each other.

[Just as J.R. and Babe begin to kiss, Amanda appears in the doorway and stares at them.]

Erica: Well, I really hate that we've been at odds with each other lately.

Greg: Erica, you know exactly how I feel about you. Your happiness is my main concern.

Erica: Sugar? Cream?

Greg: Only sugar, please.

Erica: I'm really so happy that you didn't allow me to alienate you.

Greg: Never.

Erica: Well, who would've thought that all of our differences could be settled over a cup of tea?

Greg: Sometimes life turns out just the way it's supposed to.

Erica: To lasting peace.

Greg: Yes.

Erica: Hmm.

Greg: Lasting peace.

[Greg begins drinking Erica's tea while she smiles.]

Ryan: Kendall? Kendall?

[In Kendallís condo, Ryan's eyes rest on the Confidential Candidate Profile of the Rivingtons from The Madden Clinic.]

[While walking on the rooftop, Kendall looks down, remembers her precarious perch in the hammock and starts to panic.]

Kendall: Oh, my God. Help me. Please, somebody -- somebody help me! Please, someone, help me!

Zach: It's ok, I got you.

[Di gasps]

Di: God!

David: I want to see Dixie. No stalling, Di. I want to see your sister right now.

Tad: Hi, excuse me -- Di Henry? They told me she was --

Man: Right in here.

Tad: Oh. Thanks a lot.

[Tad is about to enter Dixieís room while she's packing inside.]

>> On the next "All My Children" --

Anita: Dr. Madden, are you all right?

[While Erica spies on him, Greg feels dizzy and loses his balance.]

Babe (to J.R.): I thought forgiveness is what you and I are about now, or did you just lie to all of us?

David (to Di): Dixie is alive.
