Erica: Look, I will not sign a release. You may not use my image or my voice. Turn that off.

Josh: Toby is an independent filmmaker.

Toby: Video journalist.

Josh: Excuse me, video journalist. He's doing a documentary on my internship.

Erica: Look, if you choose that, if you choose medicine, help people, do that, but do not keep churning out publicity, and never again try to use me.

Josh: Why don't you get this Toby. Ahem. We do what we do not for the thanks. Some people don't want to be saved and aren't grateful. We do it because of a commitment to humanity.

Erica: You better start believing your own sound bites or your a faster death than your television career did.

Josh: Good luck to you, Erica. It's a pleasure saving your life. Let's go find someone more camera worthy.

Kendall: Hey, Dr. Madden.

Greg: Hey, Kendall. You look terrific and --

Kendall: Thank you.

Greg: Everything with the baby is proceeding exactly as it should.

Ryan: Yeah, he's going through a gymnast phase.

Greg: Oh.

Kendall: Yeah. You want to feel?

Greg: May I?

Kendall: Of course.

[Erica is not pleased when she spots Greg touching Kendallís baby bump.]

Zach: There you go.

Dixie: Oh, thank you.

Zach: This room is yours as long as you need it. No one's going to find out about the shooting. You'll be safe here.

Dixie: Thank you so much for everything.

Zach: Ok. Whoa. Ok.

[Zach catches Dixie as she's about to faint and carefully places her on the bed.]

Janet: Oh! I ruined Dixieís surprise! Oh, well -- don't you all feel like deluded suckers? I mean, here you've mourned and you've grieved and, you, you cashed in on their grief, and it turns out the joke's on you. Dixie is alive and well and stalking you. Aren't you glad?

J.R.: You're dead! You're dead, you hear me?

Tad: She's insane. She doesn't know what she's saying.

Brooke: Janet, just shut up.

Jamie: Especially about Dixie.

Janet: Oh, Derek, protect me, please.

J.R.: What you did to my son and Babe -- you've earned yourself a life in a dark hole, but by dragging my mother into this, using her, you're going to pay. I swear I will make you suffer.

Janet: Dixie raised you better than that. She would be so disappointed. Clearly, she raised a viper. You know, maybe that's why she didn't come forward and say, "I'm alive! I'm here!" Any mother with you for a son would rather stay dead.

Kendall: Whoa. Ok, it felt like he spiked that landing.

Ryan: Ha.

Greg: 9.9 performance.

Ryan: "9.9"? Why not a perfect 10?

Kendall: Yeah.

Greg: I'll give him that when he's born. I think everybody needs a goal.

Kendall: Oh, I think he's going to be amazing.

Erica: My escorts.

Ryan: Erica.

Kendall: Hello.

Ryan: Hey. You ready to go?

Erica: Yes, I -- I really can't wait. There just seem to be a few loose ends that need tying up. Do you think you could both go down to Administration and pry my letters of transit out of their hands?

Kendall: You haven't gotten your release?

Erica: Well, they have to send an orderly to transport me unless you swear that you have it covered.

Ryan: We'll take of it. We'll get you sprung.

Kendall: Mm-hmm.

Ryan: Come on.

Kendall: Ok.

Greg: Good to see you.

Kendall: Yes, you, too. Mom, I'll be right back.

Erica: I'll be waiting.

Kendall: Wait a minute. How can you leave my mother alone with that defenseless man?

Ryan: Come on. He'll be fine. She's still recovering.

Erica: Greg? Can you spare me a few moments?

Greg: Sure. What can I do for you?

Erica: I'd actually rather speak to you in my room. Kendall looks wonderful, doesn't she? Beautiful and glowing.

Greg: Yeah, she's the picture of happiness and health.

Erica: Greg, this isn't easy for me. I don't like what's happened between us. It's very troubling.

Greg: Do you mean the conflict over Kendall and her decision to --

Erica: No, this is not about my daughter. This is about Josh, who he is, and what should be done about it.

Josh: I don't see the problem.

Joe: And don't think of turning that thing back on.

Josh: Toby's doing the hospital a great service.

Joe: Oh, by leaving, right now?

Josh: By filming a short video for the hospital's website. Nobody knows until they're admitted what sort of treatment they'll receive. This will show our humanity and respect for our patients, our specialized care and concern and compassion for their dignity.

Joe: Wow. Too bad that tape isn't running -- don't.

Josh: In the competitive world of health care, publicity is an important tool. I can't tell you how many times -- stay out of this.

Joe: Far out.

EMT: Concussion and hypothermia.

Josh: What's her temp?

EMT: 94.

Joe: She wasn't submerged?

EMT: No, she was --

Krystal: That maniac Janet Dillon locked her in a freezer.

Joe: My God. Oxygen loss?

EMT: Not severe.

Julia: Cubicle two is open.

Joe: Tell me -- tell me what happened.

EMT: On three, gentlemen. One, two, three.

Josh: Easy. That's it. I want blood gases, I want film, full CAT scan, cranial views. Tell the OR to get ready. If we find any traces of blood in her brain --

Julia: Pupillary reflex.

Josh: Did you hear what I said?

Julia: Yes, I did, and I will do it all if it is necessary, but let's start from the beginning.

Josh: You're a nurse.

Julia: And you are the hind end of a donkey as far as I can tell, but I'm willing to keep your secret if you will do your job while I do mine.

Josh: Pupillary reflex.

Joe: I think we'll go and take a check just to be sure, ok?

Krystal: Ok.

Joe: Sure.

J.R.: Do you think you can use this crud to get off, nail down the insanity defense?

Janet: I am perfectly sane. Prison is better than the Psych ward.

Derek: Shut up, Janet.

J.R.: She stole my son!

Janet: I was trying to give him a loving upbringing. I deserve a medal.

J.R.: She tried to kill Babe!

Tad: J.R., let's just go home.

Janet: That girl attacked me. She needed to cool off, so I gave her a time-out.

J.R.: You set off an explosion that killed innocent people! And now you want to pile on this crazy crap about my mother?

Janet: That's very crude. I -- I think if Dixie were dead, she'd probably spin right out of her grave.

Jamie: Just lay off him, Janet.

J.R.: I love -- I love my mother more than anyone in this world next to my son, and if you think you can use her to stick it to me --

Adam: J.R., J.R., her brains are fried. She doesn't know what she's saying.

Janet: Is anybody listening to this? Now, look at this -- the Chandlers have spoken? Oh, big deal. You and big daddy love over here trying to act like you're human. Dixie and I know so much better. I bet you she saw you behave badly and took off.

Amanda: Mom! For God's sakes, stop! Stop hurting everyone.

Janet: I'm not hurting everyone, honey. I -- I'm not hurting you.

Amanda: Not me. Not me? Oh, my God. You really --

Brooke: Amanda, do you want me to take you home?

Janet: You? No, honey, don't let her come between the two of us.

Amanda: Mom, I just want you to stop talking, ok? Nothing you're saying is making any sense.

Janet: What -- what doesn't make sense? You mean about Dixie's shadow act? Well, honey, would you come forward and say "I'm here" if your ex were, you know, jumping all over the wannabe knock-off of you?

Tad: Derek, if you don't get her out of here, she's going to get torn to shreds, I swear to God.

Janet: You know, you all talk the talk, but I walk the walk. I'm the only one here who really gives a hoot about Dixie. Have you ever thought to yourselves "WWDD?" "What would Dixie do?" Well, I took Remmie, that sweet child that you branded with your name, and I took him to take care of him, got him away from you and that Babe, that -- that immoral turncoat. You know what? Derek, you can go ahead and take me to prison. That's fine, but would you please take that sweet, dear child and take him away from these sick, immoral, self-absorbed people?

J.R.: You freaking crazy bitch! You could've killed them.

Tad: Let Derek do his job.

J.R.: I swear, if Babe doesn't make a full recovery, if my son's not 100% ok --

Derek: Back off, J.R.

Jamie: Just ease up, all right?

Janet: Derek, I think you'd better help me. Derek?

Di: J.R. --

J.R.: I'm going to save the state a trial, and I'm going to take you out myself. You're going to pay for every crime you have ever committed!

Janet: He assaulted me.

Adam: Easy.

Janet: Derek, I want that child protected from his influence, do you understand me?

Derek: Come on, Janet.

Janet: It must be protected.

J.R.: You know, you're not fit to be a mother. You're a sorry excuse. You know, Amanda would've been a lot better off scraping alone on the streets by herself.

Janet: That is not true.

Aidan: Get her out of here, Derek.

Janet: I have proved my love over and over again!

J.R.: You've proven you can't live with people, you psycho. You're a psychopath!

Janet: And you are a disaster area for anyone unfortunate enough to love you!

Derek: Come on.

Amanda: I should go with her.

Brooke: We can get you down there later.

Jamie: Yeah, let them process her first.

[Car door closes]

Jamie: You could use a little time, couldn't you?

Amanda: I have to find my dad. Have you been able to find him?

J.R.: Whatever we have to do to make sure that she's locked up for the rest of her unnatural life --

[Car starts]

Adam: Janet Dillon will never get out of prison.

J.R.: Oh, I'm a bad parent? I don't love my son?

Adam: She's a lunatic!

J.R.: Well, she did. She accused us, she accused me --

[Car drives off]

Adam: Yeah, nobody pays any attention to what she says. They don't give a damn what she says.

J.R.: Well, why does she bring my mother into it? Why does she bring my mother --

Adam: Son, it's garbage. Just get rid of it. We got to get to the hospital.

J.R.: Babe and Little Adam better be ok.

Adam: Yeah, they're going to be ok. Come on, I'll drive you.

David: What do you think of Janet's story? Dixie was at the Mardi Gras Ball?

Di: Desperate, sick people are going to say anything. She was just trying to rip J.R.ís heart out.

Amanda: If you have found out anything about my dad, you have to tell me. I don't care if he's on some top-secret mission -- I need him. He's all I have now.

Erica: I've been dreading this.

Greg: Sometimes it's better when things are out in the open. Secrets can hurt people more than the truth. You see, Josh is --

Erica: I know it wasn't easy for you to tell me the truth about Josh drugging me.

Greg: It was necessary. I had to stop him.

Erica: I don't want Josh punished. I simply want him somewhere else. And I was hoping that you and I might work together to make that happen.

Greg: Well, I'm afraid that's not possible.

Erica: You don't want to help me?

Greg: Oh. Believe me, I would if I could, but, you see, it's useless. Josh won't leave this hospital, not voluntarily, not now that he has the chance to shine.

Erica: Well, thanks to you, he has seen firsthand how powerful and Godlike some doctors are.

Greg: Josh doesn't want to follow in my footsteps. He has no intention. You see, Josh -- he feels this need to be bigger and better than anyone else and to take all the praise and all the attention for it. It's in his blood. He has this idea that he's better than the rest of us. He's going to blaze like the brightest comet above us all.

Erica: Well, I refuse to believe that there's nothing that can be done about this, and I intend to find a solution.

Tad: Amanda, I would give anything not to have to tell you this.

Amanda: You found my father. Something's wrong -- was he hurt?

Tad: Trevor didn't make it.

Amanda: No, my dad is not dead. He can't be.

Tad: I'm sorry.

Aidan: There wasn't anything that we could do.

Amanda: But how? Where? Oh, my God. Did my mom, she -- she kill --

Amanda: Wait -- no. My mother loved my father, and she would never -- she would never hurt him.

Aidan: Amanda, there's no doubt. I'm sorry.

Amanda: No, ok? You made a mistake. It was somebody else.

Tad: I wish that were true.

Amanda: Ok, wait -- where is he? Where did you leave him?

Jamie: Amanda, don't do this to yourself.

Brooke: Honey, if Tad said it was Trevor, then you can believe it was Trevor.

Amanda: No, where is he? Is he here?

Tad: Amanda --

Amanda: He's inside. Daddy?

Tad: Amanda, no.

Brooke: Amanda?

Tad: No.

Amanda: Daddy, where are you?

Tad: Amanda?

Brooke: Please don't.

Jamie: Amanda, you need to come with me.

Amanda: Jamie, he is my father, and you will not stop me from seeing him.

Amanda: Daddy.

Brooke: Honey --

Amanda: Daddy!

Jamie: Amanda, come with me now.

Amanda: Daddy!

Brooke: Trevor wouldn't want you to see this. Come on, come on.

Amanda: Why? No!

Brooke: Take her.

Amanda: No! Oh.

[When Amanda breaks down, Jamie gently carries her out.]

Aidan: Hell of a way to remember your old man, huh?

Tad: Yeah. He was a good man. He was a friend. He deserved a lot better than this.

Aidan: But nobody deserved the trauma that Janet caused, from your friend Trevor, Amanda, all the way down to you and J.R.

Tad: Me?

Aidan: You know that stuff that she said about Dixie?

Tad: Consider the source and take it with about five pounds of salt. If Janet Dillon were to tell me the sun sets in the west, I'd swear to you it was facing in the wrong direction.

Dixie: Oh.

[Knock on door]

Zach: Hi.

Woman: Hi.

Zach: How is she?

Woman: Well, I cleaned the wound, changed the dressing. It was definitely an infection.

Zach: She been sleeping?

Woman: She's kind of in and out.

Dixie: Hey. Is there any news?

Zach: I got it.

Woman: Ok.

[Door opens and closes]

Dixie: What?

Zach: Babe and your grandson are in the hospital.

Joe: Well, Little Adamís in fine shape.

Krystal: Babe's still not awake.

Joe: Yeah. Well, why don't you take him down to the children's ward? We've got all kinds of toys there that just have to be tested out, huh? Not going to do him any good to see all this.

Krystal: Ok.

Joe: Any change at all, I'll let you know what's up.

J.R.: Little Adam, son? Krystal.

Krystal: I would just as soon hand my grandson over to Janet Dillon, you traitorous, deranged --

J.R.: Oh, for God's sake.

Adam: Krystal, let him hold his son.

Krystal: You know, if I had my way, he'd be locked in a cell with that other nut job.

Janet: Thank you for the conduct of safe passage.

Derek: Give us a minute alone.

Janet: Oh. My refuge, my solitude.

Derek: You'll have plenty of time to think about everything you've done.

Janet: Ah, the love I've given and my generous deeds misinterpreted.

Derek: I've contacted Legal Aid.

Janet: Whatever for?

Derek: You need representation.

Janet: An agent -- oh, yes. I'm another Oscar waiting for Charlize Theron.

Derek: You need a lawyer.

Janet: I'm married to one. Did you forget your old pal Trevor?

Derek: I remember. Trevor was a good man.

Janet: Before he turned on me.

Derek: Trevor loved you. Why'd you kill him, Janet?

Janet: Killed him?

Derek: All he ever wanted was to give you and Amanda the life that he felt that you deserved. Why did you do it?

Janet: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Derek: It's all a damn waste, Janet. And a damn shame.

[Cell door closes]

Julia: Hey. Babe's temp is up, her heartbeat's stronger, and she's coming to.

Krystal: Oh, thank God.

Julia: If you'd like to see her --

Babe: Little Adam, where -- no, no! You can't have my baby! No!

J.R.: No, no, it's ok.

Babe: No, it's my baby!

J.R.: It's ok, it's ok. It's J.R., It's J.R. It's all ok. It's ok. It's ok. It's ok.

Babe: Where is he? Where's my son?

J.R.: No, Babe, you're all right. You're all right. Listen, you have a concussion.

Babe: No --

J.R.: You got to try not to move around.

Babe: No, if I don't see him right now, I will get up, and I'll walk out of --

J.R.: No, he is right outside with your mom. He is fine. Janet did a number on you. You're in the hospital.

Babe: Little Adamís not hurt, right?

Julia: I'll get Babe's mom.

J.R.: No -- you and Little Adam had me so damn scared, you know that?

Babe: What did Janet do to him?

J.R.: Nothing, that I know of. She just pretended that he was her son and wanted to raise him.

Babe: She didn't hurt him, though?

J.R.: No. But she did a number on you. She bashed you upside the head. We can get into that later. Janet's been arrested. She can't hurt you or Little Adam ever again.

Babe: Mama, my baby --

J.R.: Try not to move around.

Krystal: He wants to kiss his mommy.

Babe: Oh, hey, oh. My smart, sweet, brave, brave boy. You are so brave. He's all --

Krystal: Right as rain.

Babe: Hey! That loud lady -- she didn't -- she didn't hurt you. Mama was so scared. She was, but I don't have any reason to be afraid anymore, do I?

Krystal: No. Because I'm not going to let anybody take Little Adam from you ever again for any reason.

Babe: Thank you. All of you. Please tell everyone who helped find us and bring Little Adam home that I'll owe them for the rest of my life. Yeah.

[Not wanting to intrude on the family reunion, David peeks in the door and quickly shuts it.]

Babe: Sweet, sweet boy. You ok? You look good as ever. You're my bravest boy ever.

Kendall: Ok, your autograph by the X.

Erica: Ok. I just can't believe they didn't send someone up earlier with these papers.

Kendall: So what did you and Dr. Madden talk about?

Erica: Oh, well, nothing much. I mean, do you really think he's good for you, honey? How can you possibly stand to keep Greg Madden as your Ob-Gyn? I mean, he's responsible for so much.

Kendall: Mother, this -- this -- I've decided to keep Dr. Madden as my doctor. It's settled.

Erica: But how can you even look at him without thinking about Greenlee?

Kendall: Settled, I said. Please.

Erica: Look, I -- I'm sorry. Forgive me, darling. I was just thinking of -- of you. And I don't know -- just -- I've been off, you know, ever since I saw Dr. Josh Madden come waltzing in here with his film crew.

Kendall: Tell me you're kidding.

Erica: Well, it was just a small documentary maker. You know, really independent and all. I certainly am not going to be in it. However, just seeing Josh Madden with the keys to the hospital, and then seeing his father, Greg Madden so proprietary of you and your baby -- I mean, that was just too much.

Kendall: Ok, listen, I want to take these down to the office, and I'll be right back, ok?

Ryan: Julia Keefer, superstar. No, please, don't -- rays of light! You're going to blind me. But, of course, if you blind me, then you could heal me, because that's what you do.

Julia: Where are you getting this? What are you --

Ryan: No, don't -- don't be humble on me, please. It's all over the hospital. You brought Babe back life.

Julia: Oh, please -- well, I -- I couldn't have done it without my tutor. I never could have passed my board recertification exam without you, so --

Ryan: That's true, actually. Very true. So, what other challenges have you aced?

Julia: Well, enough about me and my holy calling. What about your son? And -- and Kendall -- how's she holding up?

Ryan: Great. Well, our baby expert says that he's doing great, and he's developing on schedule.

Julia: Fantastic.

Ryan: Yeah.

Julia: And Kendall? Any decisions?

Ryan: Look, we have to -- we have to sit down and talk in-depth about your offer.

Julia: Ok.

Ryan: Ok?

Julia: Yeah. Because I'm not going forward with any other options until I know your decision, and if I could adopt your baby, then --

Ryan: No, I would love to sit and talk with you, like, for an hour about this, you know, right now, but I can't, because I got to help Kendall take Erica home, so --

Julia: What? When did Erica-wrangling become part of your prenatal job description? I thought you had a major corporation to run.

Ryan: No, come on, Erica's a friend of mine.

Julia: I know. No -- so you carry Erica to the car and Kendall drives?

Ryan: Actually, we draw straws. We'll talk later, ok?

Julia: Oh, yeah. I want to hear all about it. I'm sure you'll have lots of stories. Good luck.

Ryan: Ok, thank you.

[As Janet rocks herself in her jail cell, a door closes and David appears in front of her.]

Di: Whew.

Tad: Yep.

Di: Janet Dillon really knows how to go for the jugular, huh?

Tad: Yeah. I'd say she's a pro.

Di: How are you?

Tad: Uh-huh. I'm about as well as can be expected, you know? Better than Babe. And I'm a hell of a lot better than Amanda or Trevor.

Di: God. What Janet said about Dixie --

Tad: Which part? You mean the part about me making a mockery of her memory? Hmm -- or the part about Dixie being back among the land of the living?

Di: Well, that must have been hard to hear, Tad.

Tad: If anything Janet said or did made sense, it might. But it never does, so it doesn't matter anymore.

Di: It doesn't matter, ok.

Tad: No, it doesn't matter. I just got a call from the hospital. Babe's going to be fine. Little Adam is always perfect. So J.R.ís doing much better.

Di: That's a relief.

Tad: Yeah, I would say so. Um -- you don't seem to be too happy about it.

Di: Well, no, I -- no, I'm happy about it, really. I'm happy about it.

Tad: You seem to have an inside track on something, so what is it?

Di: Well, you know what? I don't know -- every time things seem to start to jell together again -- you know, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel -- all the -- the planets just crash into each other. You know, they -- they crash and it's just an eclipse. Just no more sun.

Tad: Gosh, you're an upbeat kind of girl.

Di: Oh --

[Tad laughs]

Di: I'm sorry, I'm just saying -- I'm just saying how it is.

Tad: Hey, come on. What could possibly mess up your life now?

Zach: Mm-hmm. Ok.

Dixie: What?

Zach: Thank you. Thanks. Babe is going to be fine, and your grandson doesn't have a scratch on him. J.R.ís at the hospital taking care of them. And Janet is in lockup.

Babe: No more loud lady, I promise.

Adam: Not everyone can get the better of Janet Dillon.

Babe: Yeah, well, in the end, I didn't.

J.R.: We got there just in time, and everything is great.

Adam: Thanks to one very brave young woman.

Babe: Everything I want is right here in this room.

J.R.: Yeah. Babe, when I found out that Janet had you two, I freaked out.

Krystal: Yeah, even before that.

Adam: We could leave them alone.

Krystal: Not a chance.

J.R.: You know, no parent or husband --

Krystal: Ex-husband.

J.R.: Should ever have to go through that. If I was religious, I would be on my knees praying, crying, and thanking the powers that be for sparing the both of you. Because I don't want anything to ever happen to you two.

Adam: Why don't we go outside?

J.R.: No, actually, I'm -- I'm glad you're here. I want you guys to witness this. Babe, I've got something I want to ask you.

Janet: You are nothing but oozing, seeping evil, David Hayward. You shouldn't be here. I -- I don't want you to visit me. Derek, this man is not my friend! I tried to give the world a gift by drugging you and leaving you outside that OR. Of course, if they had actually operated, cracked open your ribs and spread your chest, they would have found out that you -- well, belatedly -- don't really have a heart, and that maybe you weren't born with one. Or maybe it just shriveled up from lack of use. Would you please stop looking at me? What? Have I got lipstick on my teeth, or have I grown a third eye or something? Would you stop looking at me?

David: Actually, you do have an eyelash on your cheek.

Janet: Horse hockey.

David: No, you do. Right there. Keep missing it. You know, they bring you good luck. You put an eyelash on your finger, you make a wish. Blow on it. All your wishes come true.

Janet: Amanda and I used to make lots of those wishes, and a lot of them came true.

David: Here. Let me help you. You could make a wish for Amanda. Heaven knows, she's going to need all the help you can give her right now.

[When Janet goes near David, he grabs her by the neck and squeezes.]

David: There's only one thing that's going to keep me from killing you right now. You want to guess?

Janet: I'll scream.

David: No. You can try. By the time the sound gets from here to here, you'll be dead. Go ahead, try. It'll only take five seconds, but then, you won't feel anything ever again.

Janet: Please -- please don't kill me. Please don't kill me. I'll do anything you want.

David: Anything?

Janet: Yeah.

David: You saw Dixie? I want you to tell me everything you remember. Every detail.

[Zach sits by Dixieís bedside as she sleeps.]

Tad: Ok, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I apologize. I apologize. I'm not trying -- I'm not trying to tease you, I swear.

Di: No. No, it's --

Tad: I know that Janet took some shots at you.

Di: No, that is -- that's over. She can't hurt anybody anymore.

Tad: Ok, so what's the problem? Why the sense of foreboding? I would even go so far as to call it depressing dread.

Di: I guess I'm just one of the people who think it's always going to be too good to be true.

Tad: Well, you're going to have to get over that.

Di: Hmm. Yeah?

Tad: Mm-hmm.

Di: I'm going to prove myself wrong this time.

Tad: Mm-hmm.

Di: It's going to be smooth sailing and sunny skies from here on out.

Tad: And an umbrella will be your smile.

Di: Oh, huh.

Tad: It's such a pretty smile. You know, isn't -- it doesn't always have to be, you know, really, really bad or really, really good. There is such a thing as a happy median. You ever heard of that?

Di: Mm-hmm.

Tad: You have heard of that?

Di: I've heard of that, yeah.

Tad: Good, terrific. Well -- I'll tell you what. I'm going to go so far as to make a prediction.

Di: Yeah?

Tad: And if you ask around town, my predictions are almost always right.

Di: Almost always?

Tad: Shut up. I predict that from here on out, your life is going to be exactly what you want it to be.

Di: Hmm.

Tad: If I have anything to say about it, you're going to get everything you want.

Di: From your lips to karma's ear.

[Brooke sits by Amanda's bedside as Jamie stands by the door watching over her.]

Ryan: Hi.

Erica: Hi. Where's Kendall?

Ryan: Oh, I thought she'd be here with you. We split up when --

Erica: Actually, you know what? That's good. Because now we can speak privately.

Ryan: Why? What's up?

Erica: Ryan, you really care about Kendall and your baby.

Ryan: Yeah, of course I do.

Erica: Ryan, you've got to protect Kendall. You have got to get her and the baby away from that madman, Greg Madden.

Ryan: What do you know that we don't?

Kendall: Julia -- um -- hi. Ryan filled me in.

Julia: He did?

Kendall: Yeah, just now. I'd love to talk more about it, if you can.

Julia: Ok, well, yeah, great. I'm -- I'm -- I'm so glad. Whenever is convenient for you.

Kendall: Well, you're the one who's so busy around here, so why don't you name the time and place?

Julia: I -- I don't care. I'm -- I'm just so thrilled that you're willing to consider me adopting your baby.

J.R.: I'm only sorry that Little Adam couldn't keep his eyes open to stick around for this.

Babe: Wait, he's not just --
