Babe: Get out of the car, J.R., now!

J.R.: Look, roadkill's not my thing! Just shove it in a ditch and let's go!

Babe: It's not some deer, J.R. It's Amanda.

Erin: I have money, ok? Please, please find my brother. He's not well, and he can't be out there alone.

Aidan: Well, can you give me some idea of what I'm looking for?

Erin: Yeah, he's 20s, tall, thin. He's weaker than he looks, light brown hair.

Aidan: Wait a minute, do I know you?

Erin: I -- I told you I got your name from the phone book.

Aidan: Yeah, yeah, you got my name, but I didn't get yours. What is it?

Erin: We don't have time for this.

Aidan: No, I do know you. What -- how do I know you?

Erica: Jack. What -- what is it? What's wrong? What happened?

Jack: Nothing.

Lily: Dad, that's not possible. Something always happens even if it doesn't seem that way.

Jack: Well, in this case, nothing is exactly what happened, nothing.

Erica: And nothing happened to your hand? Jack, what did you do?

Simone: Ryan? Ryan, oh, my God! Ryan? Can you hear me? What -- what happened?

Ryan: Ah.

Simone: Are you all right?

Ryan: Greenlee?

Greenlee: Stupid fire.

Kendall: This is how you chill out -- you play fire-starter?

Greenlee: No, idiot! I didn't start it. Now, get out of here, so I can put it out.

Kendall: No, idiots try to put out fires themselves. Geniuses call for help and get the hell out!

Greenlee: I can handle Ryan, and I can handle this.

Kendall: No, Greenlee, this is not about Ryan anymore!

Greenlee: Don't come near me, ok? I don't need your help. I can take care of myself.

Kendall: Shut up and come with me, Greenlee, please!

Greenlee: Oh -- ah!

Kendall: No -- Greenlee, Greenlee, watch out. Greenlee, watch out! Greenlee!

Zach: It's a little late for a swim.

Di: How do you know when to give up and walk away?

J.R.: You're not making any sense, Babe.

Babe: Amanda? Hey, it's Babe. Can you hear me? Hey.

[Amanda groans]

Babe: Ok, good, good. Good, alive is good. She's alive, J.R.! Amanda? Hey. No, no, no, no, no. No, no, don't move. Don't move. Don't move your head or anything. Hey. I'm going to get you help. You're going to be ok. No. No, no, Amanda, open your eyes. Just stay awake, please. J.R., damn it, don't just stand there, call 911, get help. Now!

[J.R. laughs hysterically]

Kendall: Greenlee? Are you ok? Is there anything broken?

[Greenlee groans]

Kendall: Ok, ok, listen, we have to get you to the ER now.

Greenlee: Except this thing is in my way.

Kendall: Ok, ok, well, I'm going to get this thing, whatever it is, off of you right now, ok? And then we're both going to be ok, and you're going to owe me for the rest of your life.

Greenlee: Are you kidding me? You're pregnant, there's a fire and -- and this thing weighs a ton. Get out of here.

Kendall: No, listen, if I can eat for two people, I can lift for two people, ok? You ever hear of pregnant women who could lift cars?

Greenlee: What? There's no --

Kendall: Shut up! Just shut up and let me and baby work.

Greenlee: I told you to go, so go!

Kendall: Shh, shh -- no. I'm not leaving you.

[Greenlee shrieks]

Simone: She's small but fierce, I'll give her that.

Ryan: Oh, Simone, how long have I been down?

Simone: What did she use? You know, a chair or a brick?

Ryan: My head's a little fuzzy here, and you're not making this any better, so --

Simone: Greenlee -- I knew she was planning on telling you the news, and I knew that there'd be all sorts of ways that it could go all sorts of wrong, but you laid out on the floor with little stars going around in your head?

Ryan: Ok, maybe if I stand up, it'll help me out a little bit, because you're not making any sense.

Simone: You know, if Greenlee knocked you out, I don't think that she would want me to help you. Yeah. You must've been some type of massive jerk for her to slap you down. You know, I thought that when she told you, you know, that there'd be tears and hugs, kiss and make up. Not so much, huh?

Ryan: Now, I was the one who got knocked out here, and how come you're the one not making any sense?

Simone: What don't you get? The baby, Ryan. I'm talking about the baby.

Jack: Has Greenlee called?

Erica: No, she hasn't. Ok, Jack, I answered your question. Now please answer mine. How did this happen?

Jack: I --

Lily: The abrasion appears consistent with the impact of a connection of a forceful thrust. Dad punched someone.

Erica: Thank you, Lily.

Lily: And, Dad, frozen peas would be better, because the peas conform to the shape of your fist and help better than the flat surfaces of the ice cubes.

Erica: Thank you for that, too, Lily. Honey, would you mind -- would you excuse us? Would you maybe go to your room so your dad and I can talk?

Lily: Ok, well --

Erica: Thank you.

Lily: I'm sorry about your fist, Dad. Or should I be sorry for whomever you hit?

Jack: Actually, honey, you don't have to be sorry about anything, ok?

Lily: Ok.

Jack: Ok.

Erica: Hey, Jack, that call can wait. I asked you twice and twice you have ignored me.

Jack: Greenlee, this is your father. Now, you listen to me -- I want you to call me the minute you get this and go nowhere near Ryan. I mean it.

Erica: I see. So that's my answer? Your knuckles are raw, and it has something to do with Ryan?

Jack: Yeah. The SOB had the nerve to come back to the penthouse.

Erica: He had the nerve to come back to his home.

Jack: No, he came there to "talk" to Greenlee.

Erica: To his wife.

Jack: No, Greenlee's not his wife, not from the moment he raised a hand to her, not from the moment he left her for a widow, and I'll tell you something else -- Lavery better stay the hell away from my daughter.

Erica: Or else?

Jack: I can "or else" as many times as I need to here, Erica.

Erica: You didn't need to this time, Jack.

Jack: No.

Erica: Did you hurt him?

Jack: Well, I don't know. Does unconscious count?

Erica: Oh, Jack.

Jack: Oh, don't worry about it. The man cheated death. I guess he could survive a punch.

Erica: You just had to knock him out, didn't you? And then what, what did you do? You just left him there? Oh, excuse me.

Jack: No, no. Erica, don't -- I'm telling you right now, do not -- listen to me! Stay out of this!

Erica: Hey!

Jack: And stay the hell away from Lavery.

Erin: We've never met. I'd remember the accent, ok? I don't know you, and you don't know me, and my brother needs help, so can you find him or not?

Aidan: Sure. No problem. I mean, there aren't that many tall, 20-something blokes with light brown hair in the world.

Erin: Oh. He just had major surgery, ok? My brother needs special care and attention, and every second that he is out there --

Aidan: Ok, I get it. Ok, your brother needs you.

Erin: Yes! So go already, and I'll wait here in case he comes back.

Aidan: Well, we're not done.

Erin: Do you want -- you want the money upfront? Ok, fine. Anything.

Aidan: More like his name, right, where he comes from, why he's here, why he's staying here at the Pine Cone. Is he in trouble with the law? Is he in trouble with you? Is he in any kind of danger?

Erin: You're wasting time! Too many questions.

Aidan: But you're not giving me any answers. Why is that?

[Greenlee coughs]

Greenlee: Just go, Kendall --

Kendall: No, no!

Greenlee: Now!

Kendall: No, not without you.

Greenlee: Get out of here. Call for help!

Kendall: Why, what, and leave you here? No, no way. You'll never let me forget it. No way.

Greenlee: You want my permission? Fine. I promise to thank you every day for leaving me up here. Now go!

Kendall: No, no, no, your days of ordering me around are over. I swear to you, this is karma. Now, shut up and help. Help me.

Ryan: I've known about the baby for a while, Simone.

Simone: You're kidding me. Who would be dumb enough to spill?

Ryan: Well, Greenlee told me herself.

Simone: Oh, my God. What did you say?

Ryan: Well, what could I say? I said it was horrible.

Simone: Who says that? Who are you?

Ryan: Stop. Simone, just --

Simone: Oh, my God.

Ryan: Look, I've known about the baby. I know Greenlee lost the baby. I know she can't carry to term. It's horrible, and it kills me for her.

Simone: So that means that you don't --

Ryan: Have you seen Greenlee? Have you seen her?

Simone: She was going to see you to tell you about the other --

Ryan: The other what?

Simone: Shoe -- about to drop, about how mad she is at you, which you know. I got to go.

Ryan: Wait, Simone, you didn't answer me. Have you seen her?

Simone: If I haven't seen her, and you haven't seen her, who laid you out?

Jack: Did you hear what I said to you? I said stay the hell away from Ryan.

Erica: You may let me go now.

Jack: No! Not until you promise me you're not going to go out and try to find him.

Erica: As I recall our wedding vows, they didn't include your manhandling me or issuing orders. Let go of me.

Jack: I'm sorry, ok? I am. I'm sorry. I am just sick to death of the women I love putting themselves in danger's way over this guy.

Erica: Well, I can take care of myself.

Jack: Yeah.

Erica: I'm not in danger where Ryan's concerned.

Jack: Look, I know that you care about him. I know that you do that because he saved you in Las Vegas. I know you think you owe him something.

Erica: Ryan is not my banker. He's my friend.

Jack: Your friend? How well do you know this guy, huh? This guy who -- who faked his own death, who tortured Kendall and Greenlee and everyone in the world who cared about him? You know what? He's not sick, he's evil! Lavery cannot be trusted.

Erica: I don't agree with you.

Jack: Oh, come on, Erica. You can't see this man is out of control?

Erica: Oh, and this is under control? You beat up the man who loves your daughter?

Jack: Let me ask you something. How would you like it if he got back together with Kendall, and you had to worry about when he might light up on her, what he might do to her?

Erica: Look, this is about your daughter Greenlee who you adore and you want to protect and you want to make up for all the times you weren't there. Ok, but this is not the way, Jack.

Jack: So what do you think I should do, Erica, huh? Just stand back, watch this happen? I happen to think that my daughter's in real danger here.

Erica: From Ryan? He loves her. He would never do anything to hurt her.

Jack: Ok. Just for a moment, let's put aside the fact that we both saw him come this close to smacking her around. He broke her heart, Erica, into a million pieces.

Erica: And he came back to fix what he broke, because he loves his wife.

Jack: Oh, man. He's got a funny idea about love, doesn't he?

Erica: Look, Jack, if you love your daughter, put down your fists and stay out of the way. Please let Greenlee and Ryan work this out themselves.

Jack: You want to know what I see here? I see that my wife is more interested in defending her friend than she is helping me protect my daughter.

Erica: Jack, I care about Greenlee, which is why I fully intend to make sure that Greenlee and Ryan rip up their divorce papers.

Jack: Don't you do this, Erica. Don't do this!

Lily: Dad, is everything ok? I heard yelling and the word "divorce" and then the door slammed.

Jack: Everything's fine, ok? Nothing to worry about. Listen, when -- when Greenlee calls, do me a favor. Have her call me on my cell, ok?

Lily: Ok.

Zach: Why are you asking me?

Di: Why not? You're here. I don't know up from down, never mind "go" from "stay."

Zach: Or Di from Dixie.

Di: Just whatever I thought I knew about the world, about myself --

Zach: Ah, you're confused. It happens on nights like this. Ay. The sun will come up, and it'll change.

Di: The sun's not going to change this. It won't change me. But something did. I'm -- I'm not the person I knew.

Zach: Well, who was she?

Di: Oh, the tough girl, you know? Strong enough to get by, able to feel a little bit alive.

Zach: You are still alive, you know.

Di: Yeah, well, I don't know if I have it in me anymore. I should -- let go. I should just walk away. I mean, who stays when no one wants them? Lunatics. Fools.

Zach: Yeah, so I've been told. So who is the nobody that doesn't want you?

Di: Yeah, I threw myself at Tad tonight. I was sure I was right, what I feel for him he feels about me. I mean, forget how many times, you know, he said "Go to hell, get out of my face." I thought this time would be different, this time he would take me, you know, not -- not let me go.

Zach: Well, Tad likes to play righteous.

Di: No, it's -- it's not playing a game. This is -- this is who he is. He doesn't want me. I mean, Tad doesn't want me. Have I caught a plane, hopped on a bus? Nope. Still here.

Zach: And what do you think? Is it worth it?

Di: I have never felt like this about anyone before. I mean, I never expected to -- you know, someone else to worry about, look after. It's always just been me, never tied down.

Zach: Until you wake up one morning and you realize you're tied down so tight you can't breathe.

[Greenlee and Kendall cough]

Kendall: Ok, we need an oxygen mask and a forklift!

Greenlee: No. Get out now!

Kendall: No, Greenlee, no -- and watch you burn to a crisp? No, and who knows how long till this place goes up in flames?

Greenlee: That's what firemen are for. Get some right now!

Kendall: No. The smoke is bad. I -- hey, I can't drag you out, but I can get rid of the smoke.

Ryan: Thirty calls. Just -- just call me.

Simone: Flat on his back on the floor. Greenlee didn't put him there. Ryan doesn't even know about the big stuff. Ryan can't even find Greenlee. Why is it that no one wants to give me any answers? You know, when did I go back to being the bench-warmer friend, totally out of the loop?

Ryan: No, I'm just going to keep calling till she picks up.

[Greenlee's cell phone rings in the empty Roadside Bar]

[Greenlee and Kendall cough as the fire expands]

Greenlee: There. Right there. Take the stairs!

Kendall: I'm giving you some air. Say "thank you."

Greenlee: Could you be more stubborn? Go!

Kendall: No!

[Kendall grunts while removing wood covering the window, then screams when the extra air feeds the flames and sends her flying backwards.]

Greenlee: Kendall!

Babe: A car accident, yes. No, no, it -- it was a pedestrian --

J.R.: This is cute.

Babe: And she's hurt bad.

J.R.: It's cute. Seriously. It's better than the whole pill scam you had with Jamie. But I know you, Amanda. I know you. You and Babe, you set this up. It's a win-win for the tramp twins. See, you pretend like you got hit, and the brunette tramp gets a pain-and-suffering payday when the blonde tramp keeps me here on the jet with my son.

Babe: You need to go right --

J.R.: But you're good, you're good. But your best work was always on your back.

Babe: She's breathing, and she has a pulse.

J.R.: Both of you. But it doesn't matter, because I'm going to still leave with Little Adam.

Babe: Ok. EMTs are on their way. They said that we just need to -- we need to keep her warm and don't move her, and we're supposed to look for a change in her breath.

J.R.: Look, Amanda and I, we were just having a chat.

Babe: She woke up?

J.R.: Yeah -- oh, whatever. Look, it's not going to work, though -- her on the ground and you flashing your street-cred CPR? You know, you really got to get over yourself on that one.

Babe: Oh, my God! J.R., she's not breathing. Amanda! 11, 12, 13, 14, 15. Come on, Amanda. Come on. Oh, take it -- come on. Oh, God, come on. One, two, three -- was that a breath? Oh, God, it was. Good. You take that, ok? She has a pulse, J.R. It's -- it's faint, but it's there.

J.R.: This is -- this is great, really -- life and death, a little girl-on-girl action. Oh. What more could a guy want? You two are pros, and I mean that in the sluttiest possible way. But I'm bored. Little Adam and I, we're packed, and we got a plane to catch.

Babe: What is wrong with you, J.R.? Are you really that drunk that you can't see what's going on here?

J.R.: I'm sober enough to know that you annoy me, so hand over my keys!

Babe: You get over here, and you look at her, J.R.! Look at her! This is Amanda Dillon! She might die, and you're not going anywhere.

J.R.: Hey, show's over. Don't call us, and we won't call --

Babe: Get off her, J.R.

J.R.: Gladly! Hand over my keys unless you want to end up like Amanda for real!

Babe: It's ok.

Di: Someone did it to you -- so tight you can't breathe. Who?

Zach: We're not talking about me. We're talking about you.

Di: I was, but you weren't. Your wife? Kendall? All right. I wouldn't tell me, either.

Zach: I wanted to teach my son a lesson. And he was still in love with Kendall.

Di: So you married his girlfriend? That's a hell of a way to treat your son. But you do care about him.

Zach: And I knew I would never care about her. It was a business deal -- you know, a win-win situation.

Di: Or lose-lose?

Zach: Either way. And she proved over and over again all the awful things I felt about her, until she proved that I was wrong about everything. Kendall feels deeper than anyone I've ever known in my life, and when she goes against that feeling, it's --

Di: It's a big mess.

Zach: Yeah, it's a big mess. And I don't know how to clean it up. She is loyal and courageous and very passionate. And she gives too much, you know? She gives so hard that she hurts herself and anyone who wants to keep her safe.

Di: I didn't -- I didn't know.

Zach: Me, neither. And I don't think Kendall realizes what an incredible woman she really is.

[Kendall gags and coughs]

Kendall: Oh, my God. I -- no, no! Oh, my God, this can't be happening! No, this was not supposed to happen. Oh.

Greenlee: Look what you did.

Kendall: Help me. Help me push. Help me. Come on!

Greenlee: Get out, both of you.

Kendall: You stop telling me to leave you.

Greenlee: Better to let the air in, so we could all go up in giant flames.

Kendall: God, you suck! You come up here for a little pout, and you end up with a fire. Who does that except you?

Greenlee: You.

Kendall: Us.

Greenlee: We are so screwed.

[Greenlee whimpers]

Erin: I called for your help, not to get in my face.

Aidan: If you want to find your brother, this is how it's done. You're going to have to give me some kind of information. Otherwise, you're better off calling a psychic.

Erin: Well, how about you read my mind instead, all right? Here's a hint.

Aidan: You know, I think I know where you're from. I've seen your photo.

Erin: Oh, what, now I'm a model? Thanks but no thanks.

Aidan: No, your file. Ryan hired Tad and me to track you down when Jonathan went berserk. Now, what was your name? Um -- Ellen. Erin Lavery.

Erin: Great, great. You know my name, ok?

Aidan: And I know your brother's. Ryan's back. Faked his own death.

Erin: You don't know anything, and you're gone.

Aidan: Ryan take off again, did he? Is that why you want to track him down?

Erin: It's none of your business, ok? You're fired!

Aidan: You know, there's no need to hire or fire me. This one's on the house. I will find your brother, and when I do, I'll make sure he stays gone for good.

Erica: Well, no sign of Ryan or Greenlee anywhere. I certainly hope he's not in the hospital for both your sakes.

Jack: Well, it wouldn't bother me the least little bit.

Erica: Well, it would bother Greenlee.

Jack: Not according to her divorce decree.

Erica: Jack, Ryan loves Greenlee.

Jack: Greenlee's made her decision, Erica. She's filed for divorce. Why would you want them together?

Erica: Because they have to be.

Jack: Why? Why do you care? I mean, why do you push and push and insist that they do it?

Erica: For Kendall, ok? They have to stay together for Kendallís sake.

[Greenlee and Kendall cough]

Kendall: How could you try to put it out yourself?

Greenlee: How could you not know when to pick up a phone when I told you to?

Kendall: Oh, my God. Oh, my God, the door. The door.

Greenlee: Don't you get it? Go! Get out!

Kendall: I have to go. I have to go -- the baby.

Greenlee: The baby.

Kendall: Ok, ok. I'm going to get -- I'm going to get you the phone, and you're going to make the phone call, and you're going to get out, and you're going to be ok.

Greenlee: You'll be ok, too.

Kendall: Ok.

Greenlee: Go!

[Greenlee coughs]

Greenlee: Go.

[When the flames ignite flammable cans, they explode and prevent Kendall from escaping.]

Greenlee: Kendall, Kendall. Wake up, please. Get yourself and the baby out of here.

[Kendall coughs]

Greenlee: Come on, Kendall. Please, Kendall, you're ok. You have to be ok. You can do this.

Kendall: The fire -- Greenlee, the fire. The fire -- we have to get out of here.

Greenlee: Not we, you. You have to get up and get yourself out of here. Get up. Crawl. Crawl, get yourself out. Crawl out of here.

Kendall: Stop it!

Greenlee: Oh, God, this is how it ends?

Kendall: Greenlee, stop. Come on, stop, stop. Greenlee, shut up already, ok? I will crawl when my legs work. I will get us out of here, and then you will thank me for the rest of your life.

Greenlee: Listen to me, Kendall, ok? I'm not getting out of here. I'll never get out of here, but you will, right now.

Babe: She'll be ok?

Medic: She's in pretty rough shape, miss. No promises, but we'll do our best, all right?

J.R.: All right, can we wrap this up?

Officer: Who was driving the car?

J.R.: Who cares? I got a plane to catch. I'm wasting time.

Officer: Make time. I got a woman on the way to the ER.

J.R.: Yeah, you hear that, Amanda? They're going to take a blood test when you get to the hospital. They're going to find out what you took this time. You're busted, baby. Busted.

Officer: Now, how about you talk to me, not the lady?

J.R.: That lady is a con artist who pops pills and preys on suckers like you. Tag, you're it.

Officer: What did you say?

J.R.: Hey, look, I'm not going to stay around here. You guys are over, both of you. Amanda and Babe -- they're both over. I'm not going to just hang around town here. I'm not going to pay your bills, Amanda. Are we done here? Good.

Officer: Unless you want to take a ride in a squad car, I suggest that you straighten --

J.R.: Get your hands off me.

Officer: I'm going to ask you to take a Breathalyzer test.

J.R.: Yeah. Like hell you will.

Di: Congratulations. You love your own wife.

Zach: Nah, she doesn't love me.

Di: And you know that how?

Zach: How do you know Tad doesn't want you?

Di: Well, that's pretty hard to miss.

Zach: There you go.

Di: But you never actually told her how you feel?

Zach: Remind me how things went with you and Tad tonight.

Di: You never actually said the words?

Zach: There's no reason to.

Di: Well, maybe -- maybe there is. Maybe you two are just a set pair, you know? Like both too stubborn, too screwed up to say it. She might fall in your arms -- say, "Oh, Zach, I love you, too."

Zach: Shut up. You don't know Kendall very well. She hates as hard as she loves.

Di: And she hates you?

Zach: Well, her request for a divorce gave me a little bit of a hint.

Di: You're here, she's there, wherever "there" is. I mean, what does that mean? You just -- walk away? I didn't peg you as that type.

Zach: I'm a businessman. We made a deal. She wants out, she gets out.

Di: That's how you love? Scary.

Zach: You have no idea.

Di: Fill me in.

Zach: Whatever I love comes crashing down.

[Greenlee coughs]

Kendall: I can't. I can't. I can't.

Greenlee: I don't hear you. I can't. You can do anything that you want. Now stand up! Come on. Who saved me from the trapeze? Who offered to carry my baby? Now stand up. Get yourself over to that window and get out of here!

Kendall: No, I can't. I can't leave you.

Greenlee: You have to!

Kendall: I can't leave you!

Greenlee: You have to save our baby.

[Greenlee coughs]

Jack: Erica, how would it destroy Kendall if Greenlee and Ryan were to stay apart?

Erica: Look, there's no point in talking to you when you're like this. You are completely irrational.

Jack: Oh, no, no, no, you are the one who has danced around this issue, avoided this, ever since Ryan's memorial. Now, there's something going on with Ryan and Greenlee and Kendall, and you're on the inside and you kept me on the outside. Well, you know what? That's over right now.

Erica: You want to fight. I don't want to get involved in that.

Jack: I want to know what the hell Kendall has to do with this. Look, it's your daughter, it's my daughter. I have a right to know.

Greenlee: Ok, go to the window. You can do this. Go!

Kendall: I can't. I can't, I can't! I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I can't.

Ryan: Greenlee! Greenlee! Greenlee!

[Greenlee and Kendall scream]

Greenlee: Up here! Through the door!

Ryan: I'm coming!

Greenlee: Help us!

Ryan: I'm coming!

Kendall: Ryan -- he came for us. He came for us.

Greenlee: He came for us. He'll never get through. The fire's too high. Look.

Greenlee: Ryan! No!

Kendall: Oh, my God. Oh, God.

Greenlee: He came back for me.

Kendall: No, Greenlee, don't look, Greenlee, don't look. Don't look. Greenlee, don't look.

Greenlee: He came back for us. He did, and then he's gone.

Kendall: Don't look, Greenlee. Don't look. Don't look!

Greenlee: Ryan! Ryan!

Aidan: You know, Ryan almost killed Greenlee when he died. Just so he could muck around, drink a few beers, and hang out with baby sis. You know, that's quite a big brother you got there.

Erin: You don't know a thing about him.

Aidan: I don't know a thing? No, I know plenty, because me and Ryan were friends once, before his maniac brother came to town. Beat up on his own girlfriend, drugged Ryan's wife, and murdered two of my friends. And Ryan holds Jonathan's hand -- and chooses his psycho brother over his wife and friends.

Erin: No, no, Jonathan is not a psycho.

Aidan: No, of course he's not, because he had the good sense to stay dead underneath that mountain, didn't he?

Erin: Look, here. To cover your time, ok? Take it and leave.

Aidan: Is the truth a problem for you? It's the same for Ryan, you know. I guess things run in the family.

Erin: Go already!

Aidan: You know, why don't you keep your money and spend it on something wise, like a ticket to where your brother isn't. You're better off without him. Oh.

Erin: Oh, what? More insults? Because whatever it is, I don't want to hear it.

Aidan: What was Ryan's major surgery?

J.R.: Look, that girl can fake a heart problem. She can fake a car accident. Just because you guys believe it, doesn't mean I have to.

Officer: Calm down, sir, or we'll make you calm down.

J.R.: Wait a minute -- did you just -- did you just threaten me?

Officer: It was a warning. You won't get another.

J.R.: Oh, now it's both of you guys, ok.

J.R.: Ok, now I'm not only going to bring up one cop on charges, but I'll have two. Do you know who I am?

Derek: Adam Chandler, Jr. Why am I not surprised to find you here? Just happened to be in the area and heard this one on the box. Lucky me.

J.R.: Derek, get your boys in blue in line.

Derek: It's "Chief Frye." And this, gents, is what's known as a Chandler. The ruder they are, the guiltier they are. What is it this time?

Officer: Automobile pedestrian collision. Car registered to Adam Chandler, Jr.

Derek: Were you just in the mood to nail someone, or is your driving ability impaired somehow?

Officer: He refused a Breathalyzer.

Derek: Hmm. You refuse to take the test, I can pull your license. You realize that?

J.R.: You pull anything, Frye, I'll have the governor pull your badge. You realize that?

Derek: Pat him down.

J.R.: Get your hands off me!

Derek: Go ahead, J.R., resist.

J.R.: No, get your hands off me!

Derek: Give me another reason to lock you up.

Officer: Come on.

Derek: Get my hands off of you in just a second, Mr. Chandler, as soon as they read you your rights and stuff you in a patrol car. Crawford, you do the honors.

Ofc. Crawford: You have the right to remain silent --

J.R.: Kiss your job good-bye, Frye.

Derek: Everything you say can and will be used against you, especially threats to the chief of police.

J.R.: You're history! It's going to suck when you go from real cop to rent-a-cop! Kiss your stripes good-bye, Frye! I didn't do anything wrong!

Derek: Tell that to Amanda Dillon.

Babe: Let him go!

Derek: Move him out.

Babe: No, he -- J.R. is telling the truth. He didn't hit Amanda. I was driving the car.

Di: It's so dark. So cold.

Zach: Out there or here?

Zach: Better?

Di: It's still cold. I'm tired. Tired of being alone.

Zach: Hey.

Erin: You're fired. How many times until you take the hint?

Aidan: Hey, I got the hint. All right? Loud and clear. I'd just like to know what Ryan's surgery was.

Erin: I don't owe you any information about my brother. You hate Ryan so much, get out of his room.

Aidan: Ryan's back. Everybody knows it. What do you have to hide?

Erin: No, give that back! Give that back, do you hear me?

Aidan: "Plea agreement"? "Jonathan Lavery"? That bastard's still alive?

Lily: Dad, this is your daughter, Lily. I -- I'm calling to see if you and Erica made up yet or if you're going to file for a divorce. I'm really concerned, ok?

[Knock on door]

Lily: Well, call me back and let me know as soon as you can. Ok, bye.

Jonathan: Hi -- hi, Lily. You remember me?

Jack: Erica, please, don't dodge me.

Erica: Don't badger me.

Jack: Honey, we agreed -- no secrets. We agreed.

Erica: We agreed to stay out of our children's lives.

Jack: When we took our vows under that Banyan tree, we said your children, my children. They are now our children. Please, just tell me what's at stake for my daughter Kendall.

Erica: Ryan and Greenlee -- I want their marriage to survive, because they're going to have a baby.

Jack: That's not possible, honey. You know that. Greenlee can't carry to term.

Erica: No, Greenlee can't carry to term. But Kendall can. Kendall is having Ryan and Greenlee's baby.

Greenlee: Careful, Ryan!

Ryan: Are you ok?

[Kendall coughs]

Ryan: Come on, come on. We're out of here.

Kendall: No -- you can't -- you have to help Greenlee, Ryan. She's trapped. She's stuck.

Ryan: My God -- Greenlee, how badly are you hurt?

Greenlee: Take out Kendall.

Ryan: No, I'm going to get us all out of here!

Greenlee: No, there's no time! Take Kendall. Come on, run!

Ryan: Just keep your head down, everybody lie still. I'm going to get you out!

Greenlee: No, Ryan, please.

Kendall: No, it's got to be all of us! It's got to be all of us!

Greenlee: Get out, both of you, get out!

Kendall: No, I'm not leaving without you!

Ryan: I got to get this off of you!

Greenlee: Get her out of here! You have to save our baby! Kendall's carrying our baby!

>> On the next "All My Children" --

Derek (to J.R.): If Amanda Dillon dies, it could be manslaughter.

Anita: Come on, Amanda. Come on, Amanda, stay with us.

Ryan (to Greenlee): Trust me to help you!

Greenlee: You want to help me, save my sister, save my baby!

Ryan: All right, I'm going to come back to you. I swear I will always come back to you.
