Lily: Is our bodyguard hiding as an April Fool's joke? He really should be fixing our flat tire.

Greenlee: This is about as real as it gets, Lily.

Lily: Are you afraid, Greenlee?

Greenlee: No. No, nothing to be afraid of.

Lily: But you get overwhelmed sometimes like I do. Are you overwhelmed right now?

Greenlee: Uh, any reason that I should be?

Lily: Well, we heard a loud sound and Aidanís friend Steve disappeared and we're all alone in a strange place and is not a joke.

Greenlee: Still, no reason to be overwhelmed. See, look at me. I am totally whelmed.

Lily: Greenlee, "whelmed" isn't a word. This is an ambush, isn't it?

Greenlee: Looks like it.

David: Need me, can't have me. Good-bye.

Kendall: No, David -- no, this is life-or-death.

David: Not my problem since they yanked my license away. Go away. What are you doing?

Kendall: If you won't help me, I'll just help myself.

David: Damn it, Kendall! You just ruined three weeks of research!

Kendall: Fine, so then sue me.

David: What are you doing? Hey, give me that!

Kendall: No!

David: What the hell do you want with this?

Kendall: David, I need the truth juice. Please give it to me. I have to prove that he's not lying to me.

Ethan: Life's sure bets -- death, taxes, and the house always wins. Maybe we should scratch that one, eh?

Zach: Come on in, Ethan. Gloating is so much more fun up close.

Ethan: Those boys on the gaming commission, they like to play hardball, don't they? I mean, true, you did -- you did file your gaming license under an alias, you killed a man, you confessed. Racked up quite a lot of jail time. All those poor day-trippers outside waiting to get into your casino, and they're all closed.

Zach: How do you do it? Run a huge company like Cambias, and you still have time to go after me? Shut down my operations in Vegas, go after my casinos? I --

Ethan: Clean living.

Zach: Yeah? Is that what it is? Oh. So, what do you think? Revenge as sweet as you hoped?

Ethan: Sweeter.

Zach: All right, glad to hear it. So, my turn. What do I do? What should I do? Let's see, maybe -- maybe a crowbar at the kneecaps. Or maybe I should have you deported. Or maybe I should make you number one on my hit list, son.

Adam: Pour me one, would you? Make it a double.

J.R.: Rough day, Dad?

Adam: Yeah.

J.R.: Well, smile, because it just got a whole lot better. My guys in the field nailed an exact location for Liza and Colby.

Adam: What? Fantastic. Where are they?

J.R.: How much are you willing to pay for that information? You were willing to trade time for my son to Hayward and dumbBella Carey. There must be something extra special you can offer your own son.

Man: Give it up, Ryan.

Greenlee: All right, Lily, I'm going to check things out, ok? You stay here.

Lily: No, I'm going with you.

Greenlee: Ok, but stay close and stay down and be ready to run.

Lily: Steve?

Greenlee: No Steve. No car keys.

Lily: This is just like a Marcie Walsh mystery.

Greenlee: Yeah, except this is real, and we're in danger.

Lily: 100, 99, 98, 97, 96 -- 89, 88, 87 --

Greenlee: Before we panic, there's got to be some logical explanation, ok?

Lily: 86, 85 -- ambush! 84, 83 --

Greenlee: No, you know what? Maybe Steve went off into the woods, because he had to go to the bathroom, and he's going to come back any minute, and we're going to laugh at ourselves for being so scared.

Lily: Well, why would he take the car keys?

Greenlee: Because he didn't want anyone to steal the car. That makes perfect sense, yes? No?

Lily: Look. Those two grooves in the mud -- they weren't there before. They're about the same size as our bodyguard's two black leather shoe heels.

Greenlee: Heel marks made by some dead weight that was dragged off into the woods. Three guesses what that dead weight was.

Lily: I only need one. What are we supposed to do now?

Greenlee: Well, they go that way, so we run like crazy this way.

Lily: Like the 50-yard dash?

Greenlee: Yeah, that'll do.

Ryan: I'm waiting for Braden, Dad.

Mr. Lavery: Don't shoot. I'll be good. I'll be good, I promise. Just don't shoot.

Ryan: I don't have to shoot, you're already dead. It's the best thing I can say about you.

[Mr. Lavery laughs]

Mr. Lavery: Braden's been busy, huh?

Ryan: It's not your fight this time. You're dead.

Mr. Lavery: Hmm. In your head, I'm alive and kicking butt. Like it or lump it, I'm a part of you.

Ryan: Well, then I will cut you out. I will destroy you.

Mr. Lavery: There you go. Chip off the old man.

Ryan: I am nothing like you. Nothing.

Mr. Lavery: Is that why you went after your pal? You got a real lock on that temper. A freaking Ph. D. in anger management. Here, wuss, wuss, wuss, wuss, wuss. You will never kill the me in you, Ryan. You got the rage, but you don't got the stones to kill your brother. Braden -- he's going to rip you a new one. Yeah, because he doesn't give a damn. You -- you make it all mental. You keep it up in your head until it's ready to explode. And then you let me out to go a few rounds.

Ryan: I hate to break it to you, but I didn't grow up to be just like my old man.

Mr. Lavery: Oh. You're my kid. I mean, you took some time off when you thought that Stamp guy -- where you were his bastard. But, no, you thought you got rid of me. Life's not that sweet, is it? You got me running around in your brain, in your blood. You might not like it, but you can't do jack about it. Me? Your old man? I'm your final destination, where you go when there's no place else to hide. You got it inside of you. But you can't beat me, boy.

J.R.: When are you ever going to learn, Dad? How many times have you gone behind my back, and how many times has it ever really worked? Let me just put into perspective what you're about to lose. Me, little Adam -- because I am this close to grabbing my suitcase and getting out of here. And if you think that Colby is hidden well, don't even bother trying to find us.

Adam: Good, you got that off your chest? If you want to drivel on, be my guest. But if you're finished, hear this. If you were in my shoes, you would have done exactly the same thing. You're running with the big dogs now, son. You want to be your father's equal, act like it.

Ethan: Have me shot. You going to have me fitted for cement top siders? It won't change anything. You're still going to prison for Edmund's murder.

Zach: All right, see, now I know why you're here. It's not to gloat. You want to make sure that I know that you're not going back on your lie. You still say that I killed Edmund. That's your story and you're sticking to it.

Ethan: There's no reason to give you any false hope.

Zach: And it doesn't bother you that everyone in Pine Valley believes it was Braden Lavery?

Ethan: If living in Pine Valley has taught me anything, it's taught me that if you tell a lie over and over again -- you really sell it, you don't budge -- then you win.

Zach: Yeah? I lied about you. Lied about you being my son. I denied you. Who won that?

Ethan: But you'd do it again because you have no bloody heart. You said it was right that you lied to me? Well, I think that it's right that you rot in prison for the rest of your life.

Zach: And you can live with that?

Ethan: It's what I live for.

Zach: Know this. You can shut down my casinos, you can have me thrown in jail. But in the end, you will lose the one thing that you claim you love. Kendall. She's one breath away from seeing you for the lying sack that you truly are.

Kendall: This -- this is for Ethan. Please, David -- David, give me the serum, please!

David: For the record, Kendall, you dose Ethan with this, you're going to turn your brawny Brit into a boy soprano.

Kendall: All right, fine. Well, then give me the right one. Give me the one that we used on Jonathan.

David: Forget it. Pharmacy's closed.

Kendall: No, David, listen, you don't understand, ok? Erica, Greenlee, Jack -- they all want me to not listen to what's true in my heart. Ethan saw Zach kill Edmund.

David: All right, so you know what you know. Why do you give a hang what anybody thinks?

Kendall: I don't. But if I could prove them wrong and wipe that "poor, clueless Kendall" look off of their faces and vindicate Ethan, then it's the perfect solution.

David: Look, Kendall, I really have no use for the upper-class twit that you're hooked on. He's in bed with J.R., which makes him my enemy. But anything that puts Zach Slater away -- well, works for me. So why not let lying dogs lie?

Kendall: You're just like the rest of them.

David: Kendall, I don't have the luxury of being concerned as to who killed Edmund, whether Ethan saw his father do it, or it was Colonel Mustard with a wrench. I do have a lot of problems in my life to deal with right now.

Kendall: You're doing sanitation, not stem cell research. So -- you know what, David? If you don't help me, well, then I'm just going to go and I'm going to take --

David: What? What are you going to do? What, play demolition derby on my driveway? Once again, go right ahead! Start your engines. J.R. has already condemned the place. Which reminds me -- you're a pal of his, and you hate my daughter, so why should I help you do spit?

Kendall: Well, because maybe you'd be doing something right for once?

David: Yeah, right. And when the thrill of that wears off?

Kendall: Listen, David -- listen to me. They are using Lily. They're -- they're taking advantage of her autism, and they're brainwashing her into believing that Braden Lavery killed Edmund!

David: Is there anything that would get you to shut up?

Kendall: Give me the serum, and you will have your silence.

David: All of the same instructions you did with Jonathan. Pour a few drops in Ethanís cream sherry, wait a few minutes, and then ask him -- did he really see his father commit cold-blooded murder?

Ryan: Hell of a legacy you left behind. Does this make you proud? This is what lives after you. You've got one son that's a homicidal maniac and another one that beats women and has no idea what he's about.

Mr. Lavery: Hmm. And what about you? My middle son, Ryan Aloysius Lavery. You don't think you could end up there, boy-o? Why, because you're some big business hoo-ha? So above it all?

Ryan: I'm a long way from that dump over the dry cleaners, Dad. I'm very proud of who I am, what I am.

[Mr. Lavery laughs]

Mr. Lavery: What you are is one drink, one tantrum, one setback away from punishing the ones you love the most.

Ryan: Never happen.

Mr. Lavery: Are you kidding yourself? Do you think I woke up every morning planning to torture my boys? There was this big angry dog inside of me. And the only thing that could tame it was your sister, my Erin. The only bright spot in my life.

Ryan: What's the matter? You want some credit for not smashing her like you smashed the rest of us?

Mr. Lavery: You hear me making excuses? I used to plan for the future. I used to -- to plan about a whole chain of dry cleaners with the deluxe drive-up, and me king of the hill. But then Iíd go down to the shop, and that stink would overwhelm me, and the heat from the press irons. And I realized I would never escape that trap, that that was the best life was going to be for me. And then I started pounding back the booze and whaling on the boys. Your turn will come. You can't escape it. It's just waiting inside of you to break loose.

Ryan: You would love that, wouldn't you, Dad? It wouldn't be so bad if you could just tell yourself that it runs in the family. Well, I'm sorry, you waste of human life, but you are the end of the line. On my worst day, I could never turn into you.

Mr. Lavery: You got a half pint on you? There's no booze in hell, and I got a powerful thirst. Count on Braden to come through for the old man.

Ryan: I hope you choke on it!

Mr. Lavery: You still throw like a girl. Good luck with Braden. You know, he saved your pretty face more times than you can remember. And what did you do? You wrote him off. Left little Jonny all alone to eat rat-poison baloney sandwiches. I wish you could have been there to see that little crybaby face.

Ryan: Greenlee?

Jack: Hello?

Greenlee: Hi, Dad.

Jack: Greenlee, where are you?

Greenlee: Lily's school.

Jack: So you got there ok? You both all right?

Greenlee: Yeah, our tire blew out and creeped us out a little bit, but everything's cool.

Jack: Well, sorry to hear about the tire. So how is Lily getting along at her old school?

Greenlee: Oh, you know, the usual weirdness. Um -- new teachers, new kids, you know. But she -- she's dealing.

Jack: Well, good. Put her on, will you, please?

Greenlee: Actually, Lily's with her counselor right now going over her schedule -- who, by the way, said that Lily should go home for a while and -- you know, until she gets used to being back here.

Jack: Well, I don't think I like that very much, but I guess I understand it.

Greenlee: Sorry. I'll let you know when it's ok to call. Have you heard anything from Ryan?

Jack: No, no, nothing's changed since you left.

Greenlee: He's ok. Don't laugh, but I trust our psychic connection.

Jack: Ok, I won't laugh.

Greenlee: I know you don't buy it, but the last time that I was in trouble, he knew it.

Jack: You know how I feel about Ryan. As far as I'm concerned, he's the one that put you in the middle of this mess.

Greenlee: Can we not go there again, please?

Jack: Ok. Sorry.

Greenlee: Well, I'd better go unpack my stuff.

Jack: Go. Thanks for calling and letting me know you guys are ok. It's a load off the old man's mind. Love to you both.

Greenlee: Love you, too. Tell Ryan that I love him. Good night.

Jack: Take care, sweetheart.

Kendall: No, I -- I can't do this to Ethan or me. You can keep your whacked-out chemicals.

David: Yeah, like I forced it on you.

Kendall: I love Ethan way too much.

David: So how are you going to find out the truth if you don't lie to him?

Kendall: You'd love that, wouldn't you? You would stand up and cheer if I really started to doubt the one man who loves me for me. If I gave Ethan that truth cocktail, I'd be the one making conditions.

David: Mm-hmm. Like I said, Kendall, it doesn't change my life at all if Ethan turns out to be a liar or the messiah. Either way, I get to stand by and watch him destroy his father. Or maybe they'll take down each other. Hey, now, that is something I would pay to see.

Kendall: You really are a heartless SOB.

David: Yeah. And you're the poster girl for well-balanced. Hey, don't forget to invite me to the funeral -- I mean, wedding.

Kendall: I won't make the same mistake again. I won't lose the man I love because I didn't trust him.

Ethan: You think you're such an expert on human nature. Why? Because you win at poker? You're good at taking money from compulsive losers?

Zach: No, it's because I listen. And I can read people.

Ethan: Really? You don't know a thing about me and Kendall. She believes me. So why don't you go ahead? You shout your innocence. Tell the world you didn't kill Edmund. Kendall can't hear you, Zach. Only me.

Zach: It's time you gave that beautiful girl a little more credit. Kendall is a lot of things, but she's not stupid. And sooner or later she will be torn between your word and everyone else's. And it's going to eat through her like acid. It's already started, but you're so busy hating me, you can't see it.

Ethan: You go ahead, keep talking. It's going to make taking you down so much sweeter.

Zach: Do you honestly think you have what it takes to destroy me?

Ethan: Don't look now, Slater, but you're already on the way down. And don't pretend you don't care about your precious casinos.

Zach: And what do you think I should do while you shred my life? Sit back and take it?

Ethan: No. No, I -- I expect a good fight. I mean, there's no fun in flogging a dead horse, right? But I will win. I will destroy you before you destroy me.

Zach: Damn if Erica wasn't right on the money.

Ethan: You're taking life tips from a former model/showgirl? Sterling strategy, Zach.

Zach: "And the son shall destroy the father. And the father shall destroy the son."

J.R.: Don't go trying to turn this around. You went behind my back.

Adam: J.R., use your head. Would I honor any promise that I made David Hayward? The man almost killed me twice. I will blow off him and Babe the minute I get Colby back.

J.R.: Yeah, well, if that was a setup, how come you didn't let me in on it?

Adam: Oh, let you in on it? Well, let me see. Maybe while I'm doing that, I could get little Adam a book of matches and a can of gasoline.

J.R.: You don't trust me.

Adam: No! Not lately. Not since you've become a loose cannon. Your hatred for -- for Babe and Hayward and Jamie has -- has got you all over the map. You charge full speed ahead without any solid plan of attack. That is a recipe for failure.

J.R.: Babe and the others kept my son from me. They told me that he was dead. They deserve every little bit of torture that I can come up with.

Adam: Son, I love you. And I hate them just as much as you do. But I don't let it control me. I keep my cool, don't let myself make sloppy mistakes.

J.R.: The only mistake that you made is not trusting me.

Adam: J.R., I'm not the enemy here. You got to learn to choose your battles. You're all over me, because I didn't share with you my double-cross plan for Hayward. Well, you're wasting your anger on me, son. I'm not the problem.

J.R.: You're not the problem? You're not the problem, Dad? I'm walking around with a hole where my heart used to be! And I am looking at the man who put it there.

Tad: I thought I heard glass shatter. Are you ok?

Ryan: Yeah, I'm fine.

Tad: Are you sure?

Ryan: Yes. I can do this.

Tad: I know you can. I'm sure of it. Given enough time and help from the people who love you, you can survive anything, Ryan. And I should know. Because I survived my father. Another classic abuser. No, if there is a hell, Ray Gardner is there with your old man right now.

Jonathan: Ladies, I'm really sorry about this.

Greenlee: If you're sorry, you can let us go now.

Jonathan: Can't do that. I can't do that, not yet.

Lily: What happened to our bodyguard -- Aidanís friend Steve?

Jonathan: He's ok, ok? He's ok. I just -- I had to stage it so it looked real. It's all Braden's idea, just so you know. This isn't my idea, this is Braden's idea!

Greenlee: Well, I don't see Braden, so why don't you drop the gun and we'll call the cops?

Jonathan: You are such a liar, Greenlee! You know that? You don't care anything about Ryan!

Greenlee: Of course I care about Ryan, but I don't see Ryan here right now and Braden's not here right now. So I say we hang a U-ie back to civilization.

Jonathan: This whole setup -- this is all Braden's idea. I'm just doing this to save Ryan! If I don't follow Braden's instructions to the letter, Ryan's dead.

Greenlee: You mess up, then Ryan dies. That --

Jonathan: Hey! Hey, where are you going?

Lily: You have a gun. Guns are against the law. I'm supposed to notify the police if I ever see a gun. They should know what to do.

Jonathan: Greenlee -- Greenlee, you stop her or I'm going to shoot her.

Greenlee: Lily, you -- you can't go to the police.

Lily: I have to. My Life Skills teacher said that if ever there's a problem that I can't solve, I should ask for help. And the police knows what's best when it comes to guns.

Greenlee: Lily, stop. If you don't, Jonathan will use the gun and he will shoot us. And if he shoots us, you will bleed. And the blood will be red, just like at the Wildwind Stables. You'll see red, and we could both die. So come back. We'll do what Jonathan wants, and that way no one will get hurt.

Greenlee: I hate that you made me do that.

Jonathan: Well, just remember, it's all for Ryan, ok?

Greenlee: Ok, you've got us where Braden wants us. We're your prisoners. Ok, just move -- move the boulder and drop us down the hole and just get it over with!

Jonathan: No, no! Braden's smarter than all of us. I have to follow his instructions step by step. I've got to take you to another entrance of the mine, through a cave, through another shaft. It's over that hill near the falls.

Lily: I don't like this. I don't like this at all.

Greenlee: It's ok, Lily. Just follow me, ok? Just follow me.

Jonathan: Go, go! Let's go! Anybody tries to play hero, I'm going to fire, and Lily's going to see a lot of red.

Ethan: Deflect, divert, and move in for the kill. It's always been your style, Zach. I know your playbook by rote.

Zach: The Cambias curse is a living, breathing thing because you make it that way. I file suit to take Cambias away from you, and you counter by accusing me of murder. We keep hacking away at each other until neither one of us is left standing.

Ethan: So, what, Cambias curse, section A, chapter B -- nobody wins?

Zach: I don't know how other families do it. But in ours, fathers and sons -- they feed on each other. It's a trap we set for ourselves. If we continue this fight, we stand to lose a lot. I already have. And you? You could lose your soul, you could lose Kendall. I don't want that.

Ethan: You declaring defeat?

Zach: Defeat? No. I want to start over. If we stop fighting each other, we can be free. Any fool can march into hell, Ethan. I'm asking you to be man enough not to.

Adam: Is this you trying to justify your cockamamie attempt to get Kendall away from Ethan?

J.R.: Oh, Dad. Are you really this dense, or are you in complete denial?

Adam: Well, let me try to catch up. Uh, let's see -- you say I am to blame for -- how do you call it? The -- the hole in your heart because I went after Dixie? Now, wait a minute, listen to me! Tell me this. How is this, what you've done to Babe and what you're going to continue to do to Babe, any different?

J.R.: No, Dad. It's not any different. I'm just the man that you made me after you tried to rip my mother out of my life, and that still isn't enough for you!

Adam: You got what you wanted. You got your son back. Why isn't that enough? Instead, you go flying off trying to -- to corral Kendall. Why Kendall? Why? Because you can? Isn't that just another bad choice? And when that doesn't fill the void, then why don't you blame me for it? When the hell is all of this going to end?

J.R.: You know, actually, I've got my eyes to the future. Somewhere in the future, my son will look me in the eyes, and he will say, "Thank you, Dad. Thank you for always putting me first."

David: I know it's not regular visiting hours, but Ms. Kirby is a patient of mine. I'm a cardiologist.

Guard: Yeah. Well, if Di needs help, we have our own infirmary.

David: Yeah, of course you do. Bandages and cotton balls. But she's been complaining of chest pains, so if I don't examine her, she could arrest.

Guard: Well, wait here. I have to check with the matron.

Tad: For the longest time, it was always the same. Nightmares, cold sweats. I was absolutely convinced that, no matter how hard I fought it, someday I was going to turn into my father. And I carried Ray Gardnerís insanity around inside me like a cancer, just waiting to explode. You know what? It wasn't true. I got lucky and I escaped. It doesn't have to be true for you either, Ryan.

Greenlee: You ok?

Lily: I'm really scared that Jonathan's going to use the gun and make us see red.

Greenlee: No, don't worry. Jonathan's not going to make us all red now, as long as we do what he wants.

Lily: I don't like this place. I want another place.

Jonathan: Look, Lily, I don't like this either, ok? Believe me. And I know you have the whole autism thing going on, but I need you to try real hard to act like a normal person right now. Because if you don't, Ryan could die.

Greenlee: Jonathan, don't talk about acting like a normal person until you turn into one.

Jonathan: Greenlee, this isn't about you, or Lily. This is about saving my brother.

Greenlee: You don't need to remind me every 10 seconds.

Jonathan: You don't know Braden at all. If you did, you'd understand how crucial this is that we follow his plans. If you make Braden mad, I can't protect you, and you can't fool him! Ok? It's like he -- it's like he gets inside of your head and he knows what you're thinking. He does it to me!

Greenlee: That must be great on the dinner party circuit.

Jonathan: Ok, that's it. Enough. Get inside. As much as I hate to do this, go inside. What the hell was that?

Lily: That sound was probably made by an animal. We learned in nature class that there's a lot of squirrels and raccoons up here.

Jonathan: What's with all the chatter?

Lily: Birds chatter and so do squirrels.

Greenlee: Lily thinks that that sound was a furry four-legged something.

Jonathan: A what? Like a possum?

Lily: The only marsupial native to North America. Lots of people call them giant rats, but actually they're not rodents at all.

Jonathan: Ok, it's marsupial! We got it, we got it! I'm sorry, class dismissed. Yes. Hey, as much as I hate to do this, go inside. I'll lock you in. Ryan's safe, we all go home. You make trouble, you make me have to hurt you, and I don't want to do that. Go.

Kendall: Damn it, no signal. All right. Ok.

Tad: I hate to say it, but it looks like old Braden's a no-show.

Ryan: I don't know.

[Phone rings]

Jack: Jack Montgomery.

Ryan: Jack, it's Ryan.

Jack: Ryan, where the hell are you? Is Braden with you?

Ryan: No, no. No, he's not. Is Greenlee ok?

Jack: She's fine. She just called from the place where we took her and Lily to be safe. All is well.

Ryan: Oh. Well, I'm glad to hear that my ESP is on the fritz.

Jack: What did you say?

Ryan: Uh -- my ESP.

Jack: Greenlee mentioned that connection thing you two have when she called. Made you sound like her psychic lifeline.

Ryan: Well, thank God that she and Lily are ok.

Jack: Ryan, listen to me. Tell me where you are so I can help.

Ryan: Jackson, I know you want this thing to end, but I have to do it my way.

Jack: Damn it, Ryan, don't do this.

Ryan: I will call you as soon as anything breaks with my brother.

[Pounding on door]

Ethan: You almost had me convinced. But then I remembered that you're a Cambias, and you would shake my hand and pull my arm out of its socket and beat me to death with it. Nice try, Dad. I'll be looking forward to your next fast one.

Zach: If it's war you want, it's war you'll get.

J.R.: Is war all you understand, Dad? The one thing I did right in my life -- my son. And I know that Mom would want to be here for that. You and Hayward and Tad -- you all drove her away.

Adam: Son, what you don't seem to get -- as much as your mother loved you, she ran out on you. And unless she cared enough to take you with her, I think it's time to let her go.

Di: Hey, Doc. I hear I'm on the verge of a heart attack. Who are you really? And what do you want?

David: Who the hell are you?

[Pounding on door]

Man: You Ryan Lavery? He said to give you this.

Ryan: Who said?

Man: Braden Lavery.

Lily: What are you doing, Greenlee?

Greenlee: Trying to figure a way out.

Lily: But Jonathan said that we have to stay in here as his prisoners, or else Ryan might die.

Greenlee: I'm not sure I believe a word out of Jonathan's mouth.

>> On the next "All My Children" --

David: That scar -- how did you get that?

Di: I was in a car accident.

J.R.: I think I can help you out. But in the spirit of cooperation, I want something in return.

Jonathan: I've been working really hard on my anger issues, and I really don't want to have to hit you right now.
