[Knock on door]

Jonathan: Ryan, Ryan, hey, go next door. Braden wants to hurt you, man, not me.

Greenlee: Ok, here's the deal -- I'm not real thrilled with you right now and you're not shouting "Whoopee" over me, so let's just have it out, ok? If it takes a knockdown-dragout to get us golden again, then I say let's put them up and

J.R.: Oh, drinking the good stuff, I see. What's worth a buck a bubble?

Kendall: Dropped charges and Ethan's freedom.

Ethan: And Zach Slater in jail, courtesy of yours truly.

J.R.: Well, breaking news -- Slater busted for Edmund Grey's murder.

Ethan: Yeah. That's the least of his crimes.

J.R.: You're definitely the king, man, but I'm gaining. With your bankroll and my brains, I've got Tad, slut Babe, Jamie, and Hayward all behind the wrecking ball.

Kendall: Oh, I get it. That's the condemned eating one last hearty meal.

Tad: The guy said, "Drop the balloons, drop the balloons." These things, they come down, they're bouncing off of people

Maria: Nothing. I get nothing. I remember you telling me that -- well, actually, no, you ordered me to keep Edmund away from you or it wouldn't be pretty. In the shed, when we were trapped in the shed? Was it a threat or was it a promise? Because you said that you would stay away from me as long as Edmund was alive. Please tell me that you didn't try to get to me over my husband's dead body.

Erica: You don't need to see Lily, and you are certainly the last person that she needs.

Aidan: Erica, I'm not going to hurt her.

Erica: Aidan, what you did goes way beyond hurt. You broke her heart. Now, there's no way I'm going to let you see Lily.

Aidan: I'm sorry, I don't think you have that choice, not after what you did.

Erica: You are accusing me of what? What? I'm just trying to protect a young girl.

Aidan: You put her in the line of fire.

Greenlee: Ryan, what happened?

Ryan: Come in. Greenlee, there's something that I want you to hear. Jonathan?

Greenlee: Like I would believe a word out of his lying mouth?

Ryan: Just hear him out, because this has to do with you. The truth, Jonathan.

Jonathan: Greenlee, it was my fault you were poisoned.

Greenlee: Oh, my God. Ryan, he confessed?

Jonathan: It wasn't me, but I should've stopped him.

Greenlee: "Him"? "Him" who?

Jonathan: Greenlee, it was -- it was our brother Braden who poisoned you.

Greenlee: Uh-uh. Uh-uh. No way, no how. Put the blame on the brother who's been MIA for how many years? How convenient is that, Ryan? Come on.

Ryan: I agree, Greenlee. It's too neat.

Jonathan: You wanted to know who poisoned your wife.

Greenlee: Yeah, and you come up with a handy little suspect.

Ryan: Slips you right off the hook.

Greenlee: It's called a red herring, Jonny, and it stinks like fish.

Jonathan: Greenlee, I know it sounds crazy, scary crazy, but just hear the whole thing, ok?

Greenlee: Oh, well, I already know the ending. Braden did it. What more is there?

Jonathan: There's a lot more.

Ryan: The way I see it, there's two possibilities -- one, you are deeply delusional, or two, you're a pathological liar.

Greenlee: I vote for both.

Jonathan: You wanted to know the truth, I'm telling you.

Greenlee: Please. Getting you to tell the truth is like trying to nail applesauce to the wall.

Jonathan: Just hear me out, please? And then you can take it from there, ok?

Ryan: Your poisoner, my shooter. Jonathan apparently has all the answers.

Greenlee: Go on. Make me a believer.

Ryan: The whole truth.

Jonathan: The whole truth. Hate drives us to do strange things.

J.R.: Would you look at those happy idiots?

Kendall: All right, J.R., would you just forget about them for one minute, please?

J.R.: Totally unaware that their world's about to crash down on them. Where do they get off living it up like that after what they've done? Tad, the busted PI, swirling his wine like he still owns Orsini. And look at Jamie. He looks so lost without his kiddie menu and crayons. And somebody better tell Babe that the Valley Inn does not habla guac and chips.

Kendall: Ok, all right. More champagne, anyone, yeah?

J.R.: Laugh it up, Babe. With every giggle, you pay the price -- and you have not even begun to pay.

Ethan: Yeah, I'll drink to that.

Kendall: Ok, could you guys please just postpone this little hate-fest until after the Crème Brûlée, please?

Ethan: Listen, what Babe did was reprehensible, the whole lot of them. Did you forget exactly what she put Bianca through? To watch that little girl over there sitting, smiling, and laughing, it's -- it's like a slap in the face.

J.R.: It's like a royal flip-off is what it is. It's like them saying, "We're here to stay, to hell with the rest of you."

Kendall: Gee, you know, J.R., did you ever dream that on your wedding day, you would want to drop your new little wife off the top of the Chandler Building?

J.R.: What's your point, Kendall?

Kendall: My point is beware. Ex-lovers have been known to crank out a whole lot of hate, which means, my love, you are more likely to be killed by someone you know than by a total stranger.

J.R.: Excuse me.

Kendall: Something I said?

J.R.: Well, this looks like the fun table.

Jamie: Get lost, J.R.

Babe: You know, suddenly, I'm not so hungry.

J.R.: Don't let me horn in on your good time.

Tad: We won't.

J.R.: I know. But you're just such easy targets.

Zach: I -- I don't think my reasons are relevant.

Maria: You killed my husband. The reason matters.

Zach: Not to Edmund. He's beyond care.

Maria: I'm not!

Zach: Why not? How is this going to change things? How? It's going to ease your mind, it's going to bring him back? No, he's still going to be dead. It doesn't matter what was in my head when I bashed his brains in.

Maria: Are you human? Are you even human?

Zach: Hang on a sec. No, no, hang on. I see what this is about. I see it, it's about how much to hate me. If I killed your husband to save myself, to get him out of the way, that's -- that's good, I mean, that's fine. You're going to hate me less. But if I killed him, because I want to be with you, I want to make love to you every day, you're going to hate me more.

Maria: Stop it.

Zach: So what do I do now? What do I do? How bad do I have to be so you can forgive yourself?

Maria: Stop, stop, stop, Zach! Stop!

Erica: Are you out of your mind? I would never do anything to endanger Lily.

Aidan: You told a roomful of people that Lilly's a witness to Edmund's murder.

Erica: I hardly think that Myrtle and Opal pose a threat.

Aidan: Well, Brooke English is a reporter.

Erica: Even Brooke English would not exploit a young girl for the sake of a cover story, and I wish that you and Anita had shown Lily the same consideration. As I told your latest Santos squeeze, it's nothing but your hormone surge that's responsible for Lily running into the stables, and Lily is completely traumatized.

Aidan: You know, I hate what happened to Lily, but you've gone and put her right back into harm's way, haven't you?

Erica: I've done no such thing. Edmund's murderer is safely behind bars. Zach Slater isn't going to hurt anyone for a very long time. So there is no need for you to come over here and attack me or upset Lily any more than you already have.

Aidan: No, Edmund's murder's not solved until all the evidence is in. I don't want to argue with you, Erica. I really need to see Lily.

Erica: Well, that poor girl hasn't spoken to anyone, anyone at all since your poor judgment traumatized her and made her witness to a bloody murder.

Aidan: Please, Erica, just let me try and get through to her. There's a lot riding on what Lily saw that night at the stables.

Erica: Please leave before you make things worse for Lily.

[Microwave oven beeps]

Aidan: Lily, it's good to see you. How you doing? Did you hurt yourself?

Erica: Just get out. Can't you see she wants nothing to do with you?

Aidan: Erica, it's important that we learn what happened that night in the stables.

Erica: We know what happened. Ethan Ramsey told us what happened. He was an eyewitness, too. He saw his father bludgeon Edmund.

Aidan: Lily, can you spare some time for me? I really need your help.

Lily: I'm off the case.

[Microwave oven beeps]

Erica: Ok, that's enough, Aidan. You heard what Lily said.

Aidan: She's talking. All right, that's a start.

Erica: Yes. Now get out. Excuse me. This is not your personal office.

[Phone rings]

Lily: Hello?

Aidan: Hello, Lily.

Greenlee: "Jonathan, quit getting in my way. Ryan's going to die, and you're not going to stop me." Is that Braden's handwriting?

Ryan: Well, we haven't exactly been pen pals, but, I mean, yeah, it could be.

Greenlee: Or it could be a forgery.

Ryan: Wouldn't be that tough. So let me get this straight, you know, just so I understand. Braden resurfaces in town, he tracks you down, and he tells you that he wants me dead because he resents my success?

Jonathan: Yes. He read about Cambias in the papers and how you lucked into a fortune.

Ryan: But it wasn't only about the money.

Jonathan: No. He hates you because you turned your back on him when he was in trouble.

Greenlee: Ryan put himself on the line for Braden.

Ryan: But in the end, I pushed him to get help so that he wouldn't rape another person. And because of that, he wants me dead?

Jonathan: That's the whole ugly, yes. He's messed up.

Ryan: Did it ever occur to you to pick up a phone and call me and tell me that Braden was in town and he's messed up and he's jealous of my life or whatever and he wants me dead?

Jonathan: Looking back, yeah, I guess I should've tried.

Greenlee: You guess? You guess? You couldn't step up, watch Ryan's back, protect the brother you say you love?

Jonathan: I was trying to protect both of my brothers, Greenlee. I came to town to keep an eye on Ryan, and I was certain that I could talk Braden off that ledge without him getting sent away.

Greenlee: Oh, great job.

Jonathan: Braden has problems. I didn't know about the rape. I thought I could help him and keep Ryan safe.

Ryan: And your best-laid plans scored me a bullet in the gut.

Jonathan: I saw Braden with a rifle in his hand taking aim at you that night. He got one round off before I tackled him. We struggled for the gun. I got it from him before he got a second round off.

Ryan: By the way, that was your first clue that you couldn't talk him off that ledge.

Jonathan: You didn't die, thank God. But then Braden found something else to make you suffer. He went after the thing that you love most in the world -- Greenlee. He started drugging her with his own antipsychotic meds.

Greenlee: Which he so obviously didn't need anymore?

Ryan: Wait a minute, I just got to get this straight. You framed Kendall for Greenlee's poisoning and you framed Ethan for my shooting, but the whole time you knew it was Braden? You watched Greenlee self-destruct and you watched me fight for my life, but all you could do was steer the cops in the wrong direction? I mean, Jonathan, you -- you went to the extent of putting the rifle in Ethan's storage locker and the drugs in Kendall's condo, but you keep us in the dark, in danger because you're protecting Braden, the guy who wants me dead? I mean, what is that? Who the hell are you?

Zach: Come on, I'm asking you something. If I say I killed your husband because you chose him over me, then what? There's blood on your hands as well, right?

Maria: This was obviously a mistake.

Zach: You need me to have killed your husband because he was about to nail me for shooting Ryan. That way, your hands are clean and you're clear. Your concern is touching.

Maria: I'm sorry I wasted your precious time.

Zach: I'll tell you why I killed him, sure. I'm a coward. And the idea of doing hard time for the attempted murder of Ryan Lavery drove me spineless. Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Mr. Edmund Grey had to go. There, is that better? Good. Go to your house, play the grieving widow with a clear conscience.

Babe: I know what has you so crazy that you had to crash the little girls' room.

J.R.: Do you ever get used to real plumbing, Babe? Or do you miss your port-a-loo back at the trailer park?

Babe: You just can't stand the fact that Jamie and Tad and I aren't all busted up and hiding from you.

J.R.: I just came in here to see how life's been treating you.

Babe: Well, the answer is fine, so how about you go before I --

J.R.: You wave your magic mascara wand and give me an extreme makeover?

Babe: You bullies. You're all the same. You just can't enjoy the win unless someone else loses, but the thing is, is you can't bully me. See, you already hit me where it hurts the most. You took my child. So everything else is just like swatting flies.

J.R.: You know, you have so many insights on me, Babe. It's surprising that you completely misjudge my intentions.

Babe: How about you show yourself out before I let the manager know that you get your jollies by looking under the stalls?

J.R.: You know, life is about choices, Babe. It's funny that you don't get that. Paper, plastic, smoking, non. Babies or lovers?

Babe: I'm sorry. I just can't crack that code. I think you might have to spell that one out for dumb old Babe.

J.R.: Oh, you're not dumb, Babe. Ignorant, yeah, uneducated, yes, but not dumb.

Babe: So are you telling me that I have a choice between Jamie and my baby?

J.R.: You said it, not me. I've got to go.

Babe: Answer me, you weasel.

J.R.: It's been real.

Tad: Jamie? Listen, I realize how fond you are of your father's sage advice.

Jamie: Yeah, right up there with a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

Tad: Just remember I'm paying for lunch. And today's specialty of the house is wisdom on rye. That's r-y-e. See what I did there? R-y-e?

Jamie: Yeah, Dad, I got it.

Tad: Keep you on your toes. Seriously, if you try to pop your brother every single time he winds you up, you're going to be doing more harm than good. The last thing we want is for J.R. to be able to accuse Babe of shacking up with a lunatic who failed anger management. If you love her, don't deny her what precious time she has left with her son.

Jamie: You know that's not what I want.

Tad: No, it's what J.R. wants -- for you to start throwing roundhouses in front of witnesses. [Female voice] "It was terrible, Your Honor. He's a maniac! He went crazy. I never saw anything like it. He's a danger to himself --"

Jamie: Dad? Dad?

Tad: "Society --"

Jamie: Dad, you're scaring your son.

Tad: "All the things that I've done for him, it makes me --"

Jamie: Stop, please. Thanks.

Tad: [Normal voice] You get my point.

Jamie: Yeah, but how long do I have to let J.R. jerk us around?

Tad: As long as it takes. This is punishment. These are the lumps we knew were coming when we kidnapped J.R.'s son. We're just going to have to wait for him to get bored. In the meantime, do you really want to stick it to him?

Jamie: Oh, you have no idea.

Tad: Then smile, shine, both you and Babe. Every single time you see him, smile till it hurts, and then smile some more. Life throws you lemons, you make lemonade. While you're at it, make a toast to J.R. It'll drive him bananas. Believe me, when it comes to the Chandlers, living well is the gnarliest form of revenge.

Ethan: I know most of your expressions, but I don't think I've got this one catalogued.

Kendall: It's simple concern.

Ethan: There's nothing simple about you.

Kendall: Well, then I've met my match.

Ethan: Hmm. This, uh, simple concern -- it's for me?

Kendall: You and J.R. getting back at Babe, Jamie, and Tad. It's a little extreme, but it makes sense. I'd actually like to take a shot at them myself.

Ethan: Let me know what I can do to help you.

Kendall: Yes, but what you want to do to your father, Ethan, it's going to end up hurting you more than I want to see.

Ethan: That's rich, coming from a lady who's spent half of her adult life trying to put a noose around her mother's neck.

Kendall: Well, that's why I'm such an expert. Take it from me, Ethan, hating your own parent is like drinking slow-acting poison. You're the one who dies.

Zach: Aren't we finished yet?

Maria: We're not finished because you had me totally fooled.

Zach: I make my living taking people.

Maria: No, I thought you were better than this, so much better than this. I never thought you would ever turn on me for any reason, treat somebody that you loved with such cold contempt. I believed you!

Zach: No. The reason we're here in this place is because you didn't believe me. You believed Edmund.

Aidan: Lily, it's Aidan.

Lily: I know. I recognized your voice. We're not working together anymore.

Aidan: I know, and I'm really sorry about that. We made a great team. I really enjoyed working with you.

Lily: So did I.

Aidan: Listen, I really need your help. I need to ask you some questions about a mystery.

Lily: Is Dack masters in it?

Aidan: Um, no, this mystery takes place right here in Pine Valley.

Lily: Have I read it? What's it called?

Aidan: "The Mystery of the Burning Stables."

Lily: You have 60 seconds. One Mississippi, two Mississippi, three Mississippi, four Mississippi

Greenlee: The phone numbers in your daily planner, the dates marked with a B -- Braden?

Jonathan: Yeah. We'd meet up at these two places right next door to each other in Jersey -- Le Goulue and Café Aleutian.

Greenlee: Le Goulue? The matchbook I found in your jacket. I searched his stuff that he left at Maggie's. I had to find an answer.

Ryan: I should've done that.

Jonathan: I had to get through to Braden any way I could. I was trying to reach into his head and pull out that kid, Ryan, the kid that took the beatings for us. You remember?

Ryan: Yes, Jonathan, I remember.

Greenlee: I called those numbers. They were all out of service.

Jonathan: Prepaid phones. He'd use them and toss them. He didn't want to leave a trail.

Greenlee: Got to hand it to you, you know how to keep a damn secret.

Jonathan: Props back at you for going through my personal stuff.

Greenlee: My version of homeland security.

Jonathan: Greenlee, I'm the first to admit I screwed up.

Greenlee: Yeah, when your back's to the wall.

Jonathan: All I can say in my own defense -- Ryan, you had to be there, waking up in the middle of the night with Braden on the end of the bed, looking just the same -- eyes like a fox, that crooked smile. Stuff played out. I was just trying to buy time, and things got bad so fast -- I handled it all wrong.

Ryan: Yes, Jonathan, you did.

Jonathan: I hate that you got hurt, Ryan. If I could have a take-back, if I could do it again -- but don't you see it? Ryan, this is what the Lavery boys do. Man, it's just like you being here with me right now, watching me, taking care of me, making sure I'm ok. That's all I was trying to do with Braden. Ryan, back then, it was us against the world, and the world was ruled by Dad and he ran it with a leather belt! Ryan, us -- you, me, and Braden -- that's all we had!

Greenlee: Jonathan, how did Braden get close enough to poison me?

Jonathan: Wondering how much dumber I could get? I met him a few times at Fusion and at the loft.

Ryan: You what? I'm sorry, you invited the man that wanted us dead to our home? Did you help him clean his rifle or let him know where Greenlee kept her green tea and her protein powder so he could drug her to the next dimension?

Jonathan: I wanted to believe our brother was ok, and he told me everything was cool. I -- I bought it. I wanted to. Ryan, I didn't want to believe he was like Dad! I'm sorry!

Greenlee: Ryan, all we have is that note and Jonathan's word that this is for real.

Jonathan: You also have this.

Ryan: Oh, my God. This is unbelievable.

Greenlee: The photos or the captions?

Ryan: Both.

Jonathan: Braden put it together. Magazines, photo ops, newspaper clippings, whatever he could find. He wrote the captions himself.

Greenlee: Look, when you took over Cambias.

Ryan: "Wish our old man was alive to see this and eat dirt."

Greenlee: Wait, look, us on our wedding day. "Ryan scores again. Beautiful bride. Hope she makes him as happy as he deserves to be."

Ryan: Sweet. So Braden wants me dead, but he wants to claim bragging rights?

Greenlee: Look here, another article when Cambias went to Ethan and Bianca.

Ryan: Yeah, it's good thing that Braden didn't think that the success went to my head.

Greenlee: Ryan, do you really think Braden did this?

Ryan: It does look like his handwriting. But since we are miles from being solid on this theory, we will find out for ourselves for sure. Come on. Hey, you? You stay here, do you understand that? You don't talk to anyone, you don't go anywhere, you don't do anything.

Maria: I don't know what's worse -- your lies or the fact that you actually believe them.

Zach: What about your lies, Maria, the things you told yourself were true to make it through the night?

Maria: No, I love Edmund! That was never a lie. I chose him. My life was with him and not with you. And I trusted that he would be safe because you would never hurt him, that would hurt me. Everything that we had in the desert -- every whisper, every touch, all of that -- what was it, really? What was the only reason that you really loved me? Because I was mysterious and I was a big, blank slate? You could just write it all in yourself? What a jackpot, right? What a jackpot. Winner take all. But when you lose, Zach -- when you lose, you come back fighting. You shoot Ryan, you drug Greenlee, you kill my husband! What kind of fool was I to believe you?

Zach: Ok. I'm a coward and you're a fool. Let's leave it at that.

Aidan: Lily, I don't think I'm going to fit all my questions in that time.

Lily: All right. You have 240 seconds.

Erica: Be careful.

Aidan: Lily, I know you felt bad when you saw me with Anita.

Lily: We broke up. We're not boyfriend-girlfriend anymore.

Aidan: No. But I hope we can still be friends. You know, I want to be yours, if that's all right with you.

Lily: Is that your question?

Aidan: No, it's not. I need to know what happened to the guy in the wheelchair the night the stables burnt down. Did you see the man come in?

Lily: Yes.

Ryan: Our prints are on there -- mine, Greenlee's, and Jonathan's.

Derek: What is this?

Ryan: It's evidence, and I would like you to run it for my brother Braden's prints, please.

Derek: Braden? I mean, no offense, but is that bad news back in town?

Ryan: I don't know, Derek. That's why we'd like you to run it for his prints ASAP.

Derek: Ok, yeah, we got his prints in the system, but what's this about?

Greenlee: Derek, it's possible that Braden shot Ryan and poisoned me.

Derek: Say what? Ok. All right, I'm on it.

Maria: Am I living in some sort of alternate universe? Because I was just downstairs and Zach just admitted to all those crimes, and now you're saying your brother might be guilty of the same crimes? What is going on?

Ethan: J.R., got a proposition for you. How would you like to come back onboard with Cambias Industries, look after the Chandler division?

J.R.: Seriously?

Ethan: Mm-hmm.

J.R.: You'd hire a guy who would steal his company back while you bend down to tie your shoe?

Ethan: To be quite honest, I think I'd rather have a guy on my team who at least I know is going to slit my throat for the parking space rather than the guy who swears allegiance to the company and then stabs me in the back two seconds later.

Kendall: You are genius, Ethan. I think it's perfect. It's perfect to bring J.R. back to Chandler. It's perfect. I mean, really, who would be more apt to build out a powerhouse and then steal it right out from under you?

Ethan: Yeah. It seems that our jolly friends aren't quite so jolly anymore.

Kendall: I wonder why.

J.R.: Karma. Ethan, your offer is so flattering, how could I refuse?

Ethan: We'll make a good team.

Kendall: Yeah, like Rolls and Royce.

J.R.: But -- ahem -- there's one stipulation, and I'd like it in my contract. If you mess with Kendall in any way, I'll take her from you.

Ethan: Never going to happen. I would never, ever mistreat this lady.

J.R.: And "never" is a word I never say.

Jamie: Babe, what is it? You looked kind of down coming back to the table.

Babe: I'm just missing baby James.

Jamie: Yeah, me, too.

Tad: You know, guys, time is a really fickle thing. It runs, drags, flies. You could have it on your side or working against you. But one thing is certain -- with every tick of the clock, things change.

Jamie: And what do we do while we wait for the universe to cut us a break?

Tad: Be patient, be smart -- for a while, anyway, but don't expect tomorrow to be any better than today. Come on, let's go.

Babe: You know, why don't you guys go on without me? There's -- there's something I need to take care of.

Tad: Sure.

Babe: Yeah.

Tad: See you later, Babe.

Babe: Bye.

Lily: I was in the hayloft.

Aidan: Good, Lily. What did you see?

Lily: 22 bales of hay stacked in the southwest corner, three metal buckets by the ladder, and five bridles by the bales of hay.

Aidan: That's great, Lily. You're doing really, really good. Now, I need you to tell me everything that you saw about the man in the wheelchair. Did you see anything happen to him? Did you see anybody hit the man in the wheelchair?

Lily: No.

Aidan: Take your time and think.

Lily: I'm sure. Your 240 seconds are already up.

Erica: Oh, Aidan. How did you do that? How did you think of the phone?

Aidan: I didn't think. I just did it.

Erica: Well, you may understand Lily better than all of us. I mean, thank heavens she wasn't a witness to the murder. Her trauma was because of you and Anita and that fire. Boy. Don't quote me, but it's a relief to be wrong.

Derek: Well, it shouldn't surprise me when the world doesn't make sense for more than five minutes at a time.

Ryan: Did you run the prints?

Derek: It IDd yours and Greenlee's and Jonathan's and your brother Braden's. His prints were all over this, and the note.

Erica: Aidan, thank you so much again, I mean, for the peace of mind and, very importantly, for helping Lily to get out of herself.

Aidan: I'm glad I could help.

Erica: Jackson is going to be so relieved to know that the main cause for his daughter's trauma is unrequited love. I mean, not that that's easy to deal with, but it is, of course, so much better than having been a witness to murder.

Aidan: Right. Well, I should be getting off.

Erica: All right. I'll tell Lily that you said good-bye.

Aidan: Thanks.

Erica: Ok.

Lily: Would you like some of this? I can't eat it all by myself.

Ethan: Things are coming into focus now. God, you know, I love it when things work out.

Kendall: Great, fine. Well, then you want focus? Zoom in on your life, not your father. I don't think that destroying Zach is the answer.

Ethan: I'm not destroying Zach. Zach's destroying Zach, ok? I saw him murder Edmund Grey. I don't want revenge, Kendall. I simply want justice.

Kendall: Yes, but you're enjoying it way too much, and that's what worries me.

Ethan: You're very sweet.

Kendall: Yeah, sweet, but you don't care what I think.

Ethan: No, you're wrong. I care very much what you think. The only two people whose opinions matter to me in this world are yours and your sister's.

Kendall: Great, it matters, but it doesn't matter, you still want what you want.

Ethan: Kendall, I need you to help me get through to the other side of this. The best that you see in me, that's what I want to be. I need you to be my conscience, to help me stay clear of this dark side of Cambias that Zach keeps warning about.

Kendall: All right. Jiminy Cricket on duty 24/7. Kendall is on the job.

Ethan: Listen, I don't need a keeper or a cricket. I just want you, for years and years. Kendall, I really want you to be in my life because I love you.

Zach: Ok. What's this all about now, huh?

Ryan: You didn't shoot me, Zach.

Greenlee: You didn't poison me.

Ryan: Why'd you lie?

Maria: Did you lie about my husband, too? Did you not kill Edmund?

>> On the next "All My Children" --

Jonathan: Back off while you can, ok? You don't know what could happen to you, Simone.

Ethan: Zach's guilty. That's the truth. Now, get out.

Kendall: Why did you have to know again? Why aren't you satisfied?

Zach: I will tell you exactly how Edmund died.
