Jamie: Well, good morning, Mrs. Anderson.
Babe: Good morning, Mr. Anderson, and my little mister, or as I like to think of you, my two Jameses.
Jamie: Funny you should mention that because we had our first official James Club meeting.
Babe: Really? Movers and shakers, you two, huh? So, do tell. What was on the agenda?
Jamie: Oh, it was a huge debate. Huge. The issue was, how beautiful is his mom when she sleeps? Now, he said "stunning," and I said "breathtaking." So I guess I win. Any more bad dreams?
Babe: I think the bad is all behind us.
Babe: I'm here and you two boys are here, and Bianca has Miranda back. How could everything not be ok?
J.R.: I told you I don't want any visitors! What don't you get?
Kendall: Lighten up, boss man.
J.R.: I don't want to hear a word about Bianca needing my baby.
Zach: Do as I say -- stay on him. Let me know if you find something. Hey. You look nice. What can I do for you?
Bianca: We have some unfinished business, Mr. Cambias.
Erica: Oh, Maria. Welcome. You're actually the first of the Benefit Planning Committee to arrive. You know, Bianca has so much on her agenda for the center.
Maria: And that's it? That's all you have to say to me?
Erica: There's plenty of juice?
Maria: Oh, you have -- you actually could do it, couldn't you? You could just pretend that it never happened.
Erica: I don't know what you're talking about.
Maria: The hell you don't!
Greenlee: I've been amped up on adrenaline and anxiety since the night you got shot, but last night I crashed. I mean, I really slept.
Ryan: Yeah, you were sleeping by the time I turned out the light.
Greenlee: Yeah, and, wonder of wonders, I stayed that way. No nightmares, no 2:00 a.m. insomnia. That was the deal with all the weirdness before -- sleep deprivation.
Ryan: So you got your eight hours and, now what, you're fine?
Greenlee: No -- fine? I'm not fine, I'm fabulous. I've been up for an hour, and not one brain glitch, not one mispronounced word.
Ryan: Well, pronunciation isn't the issue.
Greenlee: Hey, Iím mood-swing free and Iím not running around naked.
Ryan: Ok, well, you know, you had plenty of good hours before this all started. And then all of a sudden, circuit jam. So how do you know it's over?
Greenlee: I can feel it.
Ryan: Just like that?
Greenlee: It started suddenly. It makes sense that it would end that way. Ryan, I watched as you were bleeding from a bullet hole in your body. I mean, sleep hasn't exactly been my friend. But now Ethan is in jail, you're fine, we're fine. So, sweet dreams.
Ryan: That's great. I'm glad. But I'm still keeping the appointment with Maria anyway.
Greenlee: Great! Go ahead, keep it. Go see Maria. I'll be at the perfume factory giving out one big thank-you for the Enchantment holiday rollout.
Ryan: Send them some champagne and an apology because you're not going.
Greenlee: No, I think you're the one with the brain glitch here. I said that I was going --
Ryan: To see Maria, that's right.
Greenlee: You're my husband, not my CEO. You don't give me orders.
Ryan: No, but I do give you loving suggestions to get your butt into the hospital. And if you choose to ignore those suggestions, then I will take all six pounds of you and Iíll put you on my shoulder and I will take you there myself.
Maria: No, no, no, don't you try to run away from me, Erica. Give it up. You're going to listen to me.
Erica: I am not running. I simply tune out people who insult and curse at me.
Maria: Really? Don't play pristine with me, please. You were all ready to roll in the filth when you ran to Edmund.
Erica: I was just the messenger. I simply delivered the salient facts. You were in the arms of Zach Slater. Oh, no, my mistake -- you were in the arms of Alexander Cambias, Jr. Oh, how proud you must be. A Cambias paramour. Classy.
Maria: Did you get a cheap thrill, running to Edmund and dumping that on him?
Erica: Oh, no, I'm afraid all the cheap thrills were yours.
Maria: Well, you just keep it up, Erica. Keep it up and get it all out because I'm actually used to your nastiness. But when you start going to my family and my husband -- you know, Maddieís life is completely turned upside down?
Erica: Oh, you want compare our children's traumas? You think about Bianca and what the Cambiases did to her. One of them raped her, stepped on her soul. The other gained her trust and lied in her face. That would be the man that you trashed your marriage for.
Maria: Zach is not the point here. You're interfering. What the point is --
Erica: Oh, Zach is definitely the point, and don't forget it. You think I give a damn who you grope in the cemetery bushes? But when that man turns out to be the lying brother of the man who raped my daughter? I don't know how you can live with yourself.
Zach: There really hasn't been a chance since that day at Ryanís.
Bianca: You walked in Zach and you walked out Alex, Jr.
Zach: But you weren't completely surprised, now, were you?
Bianca: No. It's ok. You know, you said all the right things -- that you wanted to help us, that you wanted to make it up to all of us.
Zach: I meant that.
Bianca: But you didn't. The first chance you got, you turned your back.
Zach: I'd never turn my back on you.
Bianca: Not on me. Bail money for Ethan. You said no. No explanation, no reason. Just no.
Zach: Well, easy explanations are sometimes just that -- they're easy.
Bianca: So you won't even try? The man of mystery -- avoid, evade, deny. And I don't know why it bothers me so much. Maybe Ethan is better off taking nothing from you. If I had known who you really are, I wouldn't have taken a dime from you.
J.R.: Ok, you know what? We went over this already before. Now, Babe's gone. All Bess needs is her father. If this isn't about Bianca, why are you here?
Kendall: This is -- it's for a favor, non-baby related. Ethan's been arrested. He's in jail, and his bail is set at one million.
J.R.: It's a hefty price.
Kendall: This would just be a bridge loan. I'll pay you back as soon as possible.
J.R.: Not an issue.
Kendall: J.R., thatís -- that's amazing of you. I mean -- but I could never accept it as a gift.
J.R.: I never offered it, as a loan or a gift. The answer is no, so maybe you should think about leaving.
Kendall: Well, too bad. I'm not.
Babe: Ok, let's get you all cleaned up, huh?
Jamie: Hey, hey, hey, hey -- I got this. You go do your thing.
Babe: Oh, really? So what are you going to do? Are you going to fight me for the diaper, huh?
Jamie: I'll have you know, after Bess, I'm a professional.
Babe: Oh, really?
Jamie: Yeah. I don't care what he says. I got it covered.
Babe: Ok, Mr. Professional, just one word of advice -- girl babies and boy babies -- they are a different animal, so when you say that you have it covered, I just want to makes sure that you have it covered, if -- you know.
Jamie: Oh, like the whole aim thing? Yeah, I gotcha. Hey, your mom is looking at me like I already screwed something up, huh?
Jamie: What? What did I do wrong?
Babe: Nothing. You just left your whole life behind to run off with some girl and her baby out in the boonies. I know I don't deserve you, but I am grateful.
Jamie: Whoa, whoa. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!
Babe: Whoa, whoa, whoa!
Jamie: Ok there, sure-shot --
Babe: I got him.
Jamie: You tried to sneak one by me, but I got you this time.
Babe: Here we go. Ok.
Jamie: You know, I saw a diner when we got in last night. I'm thinking tons of breakfast meat and at least a dozen eggs.
Babe: That sounds awesome. And juice -- I could totally go for some juice, huh? All done.
Jamie: You know what? Here. You know, I'll finish this up.
Babe: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah -- taking the credit. I see how it is.
TV announcer: And after the break, an update on the search for the infant son of the Pennsylvania politician. Are the Feds hot on the abductors' trail? Despite numerous calls to the authorities, apparently no solid leads have turned up yet. The investigators promise that all viable tips will be pursued, and they are confident baby Buchanan will be home soon. In local news, a group of --
[TV turns off]
Jamie: Babe, you know we're safe. We're safe as we can be.
Babe: I know, but -- but maybe now is not the time to be taking him out to a diner, you know? And besides, Mama taught me how to pinch a penny till it screams, and that's what we should be doing right now.
Jamie: Well, thanks to J.R., we got 10 large in that duffle bag right over there. So breakfast isn't going to break us.
Babe: But if we stay in, I could make you my famous French toast.
Jamie: You cook? I think I just lost my appetite.
Babe: Very funny. Very funny. You're obviously unaware of my culinary gifts, but --
Jamie: Well, I know I shouldn't doubt the things you can do, but in order to cook, you at least need a hot plate, and all we have are some old pillows and a really ugly dresser.
Babe: I'll give you that, but, come on. Seriously, if we had time, I could cook a whole Thanksgiving meal, complete with all the trimmings. That's if we had time, but we don't. So for the meantime, I will just settle for milk, eggs, some bread -- oh, and syrup, the real stuff, because that's the stuff that makes it good.
Jamie: Then you shall have it. How about you, little man? You want something?
Jamie: Beef jerky? Six-pack? Strippers?
Babe: He just needs you to come home.
Jamie: Well, how about you? Do you need anything else?
Babe: I've got everything I need right here in this room. Oh, little man, your mama is so happy! Yes, she is. And I bet I'm not the only happy mama in the world right now. Let's get ready.
Bianca: I have seen evil up close, and it's not in Ethan. I always said that Miranda couldn't be tainted by who her father was, but it still hurt knowing what everybody else would think of her. And I thought that if she had a good person as a cousin that maybe some of that Cambias darkness would go away. And somehow, that made things easier. But Ethan is not a Cambias, and his decency does not cancel out the Cambias ugliness. All that's left to do that is you. Can you do it?
Zach: If I could take away the pain that my brother caused you, I would.
Bianca: Well, what about the pain that you've caused? Are you going to try to take that away? Maria says that you're an honorable man, and I thought that you were someone I could trust. Even after the truth came out, I thought we'd be ok. But the way you've treated Ethan -- I mean, you kept your secret for so long and let him hope and rage and everything else that he felt. And then you finally told him the truth. But you said that you would stand by him. And the first chance you got, you let him sit in a jail cell, and Ethan is innocent. You let an innocent man be locked up all alone. My daughter deserved to have a good man as an uncle, and instead she got you.
Zach: Ahem. The choices I make for Ethan -- I'd never hurt you. You know that. What did she look like? Miranda? Please.
Bianca: She was more beautiful than -- than you can imagine. And before I knew that it couldn't be true, I thought she looked something like Ethan.
Erica: Your oh-so-innocent Alexander Cambias, Jr. lied to all of us. He lied to his brother's victim. He offered his help, his money, his casino for Mirandaís charity. Miranda, the innocent product of his brother's crime.
Maria: Miranda is his niece. What he gave to this charity, he gave out of his heart.
Erica: His -- oh, I may be ill. He is a liar, Maria, and a Cambias. And why do you think he came to this town in the first place? To destroy everyone that his brother managed to leave standing. He's repulsive. And you are repulsive for helping him. But thank heavens everyone in this town now knows the truth about our so-called Mr. Zach Slater. And Edmund knows the truth about you. Well, I'm sure that Brooke would be happy to help pick up the pieces of Edmundís heart. Some people call it leftovers, but the PC term is "recycling."
Brooke: Well, considering I took a direct scratch from someone else's cat fight, I hope you'll hear me out. I talked to Edmund, and I hope that -- that it's going to work.
Maria: Well, what do you hope, that he professed his undying love?
Brooke: It's more than that. That he's at least willing to talk.
Maria: Oh, yeah, he talked. He talked up a storm. He was -- when I came back from the stables, he was breaking it to Maddie about our divorce.
Brooke: Maria, I saw his face. I know he heard me, at least part of it, and we both know that he loves you.
Maria: Well, I'll hold on to that thought while Iím finding a lawyer.
Brooke: I'm sorry. He seemed to get it. I -- you know, I don't know what --
Maria: Oh, my God. Oh, my God, I think I know. I think I know what might have changed his mind.
Brooke: You saw Cambias. I thought there wasn't anything going on between you and Slater -- or Cambias, or whoever. But then you go -- was I a complete idiot to try to convince Edmund to give the two of you another shot?
Erica: Maria brought this on herself.
Bianca: Oh, Mom. Don't tell me that you did something to Maria?
Erica: I did nothing but expose a big deceit. Honestly, the lies in this town -- they run all through the town, and I am so sick to death of them. And especially when they hurt you.
Opal: Oh, boy, I second that emotion. When I heard that that Slater was really a Cambias underneath his good-egg act, lying right to your face every single day?
Erica: I swear, between him and Babe, I don't know how you can trust anyone.
Bianca: Babe? What about Babe? Why don't you think I can trust Babe?
Babe: It's awesome. I love it.
Jamie: And necessary. Isn't that right, little guy?
Babe: What -- what else did -- they're adorable. It's our little family.
Jamie: It's a souvenir, to remember the beginning of our family life.
Babe: Let's see. You like them? Brad and Kate, and who's this? James. Oh. Your daddy takes such good care of us. How did we get so lucky?
J.R.: If you want to ride off to rescue your new boyfriend, be my guest. I'm not going to finance your next affair.
Kendall: That's not what this is about, J.R. Ok? Ethan's in jail. He's innocent. He shouldn't be there. Now, you know I'm good for the money.
J.R.: Then you don't need mine, so you should go.
Kendall: Wait a minute -- last time I was here, I was your best friend in the whole world.
J.R.: And this is my best friend, and now you're busting into our time.
Kendall: So that's it? What, you're done with me? You're just going to throw me out like some fired servant? You know, I think maybe Babe and Bianca were right. You have turned into a major jackass.
J.R.: Yeah, whatever. Bye. Bye.
Greenlee: Since when did you become a know-it-all dictator who wants to rule the world?
Ryan: I think around the same time that you became a know-it-all brat who doesn't want to take care of herself.
Greenlee: Well, I wonder how I survived this long.
Ryan: Boggles the mind.
Greenlee: Don't be sarcastic. Oh, my God, do you know what this is?
Ryan: This is you trying to change the subject.
Greenlee: It's our first married fight.
Ryan: Well, you're pretty good at this.
Greenlee: You, too.
Ryan: No bloodshed.
Greenlee: No nasty names that we can't take back. We're so meant for each other.
Ryan: And you are so going to see Maria.
Greenlee: I got checked out. She took my blood. Can't you give it a rest?
Ryan: When my wife needs medical attention, I am such a jerk I just can't let it go.
Greenlee: I'm fine.
Ryan: That's what I want to hear from Maria.
Greenlee: You heard it from me. That should be enough.
Ryan: I've also heard how weird you feel and how scared you are, and now all of a sudden you're fine because you got a little sleep? You're freaked out. And for some reason, you won't let me help you.
Greenlee: I'd let you help me if I was freaked out, but I'm not, so no help needed.
Greenlee: What --
Greenlee: What do you want me to do, crack open my brain and show you how shipshape I am? I'm fine! You say I'm not. You say that Iím scared. I tell you that I'm not. But if you know everything, tell me what Iím feeling right now.
Ryan: All right, you're feeling scared. You're feeling so scared that you'd rather tell me off than go see Maria.
Greenlee: Why should I go?
Ryan: So we can finally found out what it is.
Greenlee: But I don't want to know what it is! Ryan, if something's wrong, it's going to come at me with or without a heads-up. Haven't we been through enough lately? Other than wanting to head-butt you right now, Iím happy. If that happiness is going to disappear, I don't want to know about it. I don't -- please, Ryan, just let me have this for as long as it lasts.
Erica: I don't like her and I don't trust her. Babe has no morals.
Bianca: Mom, you don't even know her.
Erica: I know that she ran off and left her baby girl behind, her own flesh and blood.
Bianca: I have complete faith in Babe. If she left, it was for a reason. And when she's ready to talk, I'll be here to listen.
Erica: Honey, that woman could never have anything to say that you would need to hear. I really hope for your sake that she's gone for good. And if she ever does try to contact you, you have to hang up on her.
Bianca: Mom, what has gotten you so crazy about Babe? I mean, you must remember what she did for me in the woods. I would have bled to death without Babe. And Miranda? Babe held Miranda in her arms. Do you have any idea what kind of bond that gives us? Really, Mom, how can you be so cold?
Kendall: We're back on Babe again?
Bianca: No, Kendall, Iím not having this conversation with you.
Kendall: Ok, relax, feisty one. Relax. With a husband like that, Babe deserves some slack.
Erica: I thought J.R. was your friend.
Kendall: Well, I did, too. I went to him for help with Ethanís bail. He knocked me around and threw me out the door.
Erica: What is wrong with you? Leave Ethan in jail where he belongs!
Bianca: Mom, deal with it, ok? Kendall can fight just as hard as you, and she'll be fighting for Ethan.
Erica: No, she wonít.
Kendall: What is that, comic relief? You don't have a say in this.
Erica: I certainly do. And you will listen.
Babe: You remember that first night at the hotel?
Jamie: It's a little hard to forget.
Babe: Well, I made the worst mistake of my life.
Jamie: Sleeping with me while you're married to my brother.
Babe: All along, I thought that the prince was at the mansion. Turns out he was at the Pine Cone. God, I was so stupid.
Babe: I guess that's -- I guess that's Mama's cue to get cooking, huh? Hey.
Jamie: Babe, I hate to insult your expertise, but there's no stove.
Babe: I feel sorry for you, Mr. Anderson. You and your privileged upbringing. You didn't live a life on the road full of fun and mischief with adventure around every curve, and with Krystal Carey as your cruise director.
Jamie: I bet it was crazy.
Babe: Oh, yes. And educational. Mama -- she taught me good. So you and my little James here -- you just sit back and you pull up a front-row seat to my French toast extravaganza. Prepare to be dazzled.
Erica: So, is it over? Has Maria bequeathed Edmund to you, Brooke? I mean, if she was going to lose him this fast, she might as well have let you keep him in the first place.
Bianca: Mom! Are you completely incapable of censoring yourself? I am so sorry.
Brooke: Oh, don't worry, Bianca. Nobody listens to that anymore.
Erica: Oh, she's trying to dismiss me with her superior tone.
Maria: You make it so easy to be superior, Erica.
Opal: Well, at least she isn't catting around on the man who grieved her for years!
Kendall: You and Zach? Well, how long have you known Michael was his brother?
Maria: Oh, you know what? Please! From the woman who makes a big fun day out of breaking up people's marriages? But then again, you know what? Apple -- tree.
Bianca: Wait a minute. What's she talking about, Kendall? What did you do?
Brooke: Well, nobody steamrolls a marriage like Erica.
Erica: Well, if my marriages never ended, Brooke, who would you have to date?
Opal: Hey, look, missy, they may be on a rant, but you are not off the hook.
Maria: Do I really care what you think, Opal? Why don't you worry about Palmer, ok?
[All talking at once]
Myrtle: Ladies, mouths shut and claws in. Now, we are here to discuss Mirandaís Center. But before we start, I suggest you all get a little charity into your hearts, hmm? Bianca.
Bianca: Thank you all so much for coming. It's been a very exciting few months. We have a lot to be proud of, but there's still a long way to go. We're coming up on our benefit concert and there's lots to be done. But I have great faith that we can all work together.
Ryan: But you know how you felt when I was in the hospital.
Greenlee: I thought I was going to lose you. I mean, I was --
Ryan: Right, right, and I don't want to lose you either. Ok, so whatever this is, whatever is doing this to you, big or small, we can beat it down into submission together.
Greenlee: I'll go see Maria, but not today.
Ryan: Mrs. Dynamite --
Greenlee: No, you know what? You know what? You know what? I -- I don't want to fight right now. I want to celebrate. I want to bask in the glow of our success with Enchantment perfume. Please.
Ryan: Those eyes. Ok, fine, I'll clear my schedule. No -- I mean, I want to finally see one of these factories that I own.
Greenlee: You don't have to do this.
Ryan: Oh, what, spend some time with my wife and watch the staff and crew, you know, as they give her her props? Stand next to her in case she needs me? There's no place that I'd rather be in the world, ever.
Greenlee: God, I love you.
Ryan: And I love you. And I'm not going to let anything happen to you. I promise.
Zach: Slater. Got it.
J.R.: How'd it go?
Adam: "How'd it go?"
Adam: Well, when you failed to show up, the investment group took that as a sign that you were not interested in Generatrix, and they decided to rethink their offer to help us with our cash flow problem!
J.R.: Well, my daughter needs me. She comes first.
Adam: You have lost it! Generatrix was your idea. You wanted to use it to leverage Lavery and get our company back, to get Chandler Enterprises back. But it didn't happen. We are out of cash. So if you ever want to have -- to give something to your daughter, I think you'd better step up and help me here.
J.R.: I've been thinking about reinforced bars on the window. I don't know.
Adam: Are you listening to anything I'm saying to you?
J.R.: I'll talk with the security contractor about that one.
Adam: Stop it, stop it! What is wrong with you? What is going on with -- between you and that baby?
J.R.: That baby? That baby is your grandchild and deserves due respect to any chandler! She's my daughter, and it is my job to protect her.
Adam: No! There's more to it than that, and I want to know what it is.
Bianca: And because of all of your hard work, we have locked in the final details for the Miranda Montgomery Center benefit concert. My Uncle Jack has been flying back and forth to the venue, finalizing the agreement, making sure that the show goes off without a hitch and, most importantly, that we rake in a lot of cash.
Bianca: I want to thank my mother for coming up with the idea, which is really brilliant. And all of you, thank you so much for reaching out to help those who can't help themselves. And thank you especially for doing it all in Mirandaís name. Thank you, really.
Opal: Well, let me see. Oh, I'm sorry, honey, but I got to skedaddle. You know, Petey almost blew up the science room again. But don't you worry. If anybody tries to leave the glam without buying one of these concert tickets, she's going to know what blue hair really means.
Opal: I'll see you later.
Brooke: Hang on, Opal. Bianca, I have to leave, too, but Iíve already started to make some of those calls.
Bianca: Oh, great. Thank you both so much.
Opal: All righty. Bye-bye.
Erica: You did great, honey.
Bianca: Thanks, Mom.
Kendall: Binks, that was amazing.
Bianca: Kendall, I really wanted to talk to you. The other day, you found something on my doorstep. Was it a note from Babe?
Kendall: Ok, wait, slow down a second. Yes, the other night there was a note from Babe.
Bianca: Tad was right. Well, why didn't you mention it?
Kendall: It was just mail, Bianca. I put it on your table with the rest of your stuff. I thought you would have seen it by now.
Bianca: Well, I -- I haven't. I can't find it anywhere.
Kendall: Well, it didn't just walk away.
Bianca: I really need to know what that note said.
Kendall: Ok, listen, I will come by. I will help you look for it, ok? Right after I swing by the perfume factory for our little holiday walk-through.
Bianca: Ok. Thank you.
Kendall: Ok? You're welcome.
Bianca: Thank you very much.
Kendall: Ok, see you later.
Erica: Bye, Myrtle. So, what does Kendall want to help you with?
Bianca: You were standing right over there. You must have heard. Why would you pretend that you didn't? Mom, what do you know about that note from Babe?
Opal: I knew it! I knew that a Carey girl would bring grief to my family, but somehow I thought it was going to be Krystal to Tad, not Babe to Jamie. You got any idea where they disappeared to?
Brooke: No, the note was short. They were leaving. Love to us both, bye. I mean, the question is, why did they have to leave in the first place? I mean, what could they have on the road that they can't have here?
Jamie: James, you didn't tell me your mommy could cook. He just talks about how pretty you are all the time.
Babe: Oh. My little boy is hungry, huh? All right. Hey. Here you go.
Jamie: Hey, I can get that.
Babe: You know how many bottles I've missed? Not another one.
Jamie: Hey, you two look right together. I think you belong with each other.
Babe: I've got news. You belong, too.
[Fire alarm blares]
Babe: Oh, no. Oh, no.
Jamie: It's ok, it's ok. I got it.
Babe: Well, what do we do?
[Fire alarm stops]
Jamie: Breakfast -- it's the most important meal of the day.
[Pounding on door]
Man: Open up in there!
Babe: French toast. You want some?
Man: No cooking in the rooms. And you missed your checkout. You owe me for another day whether you stay or not.
Jamie: That's fine. It'll be just a second.
Babe: Look, as fun as my French toast extravaganza was, this place really isn't worth another night.
Jamie: Well, it was worth it to see you sleep. Well, I'm going to have to hit up our private ATM. Oh. Oh, no.
Babe: Please tell me you're looking for your socks.
Jamie: The 10 grand -- it's all gone.
Bianca: Mom, what do you know about the note Babe left me?
Erica: Honey, listen to yourself, getting so excited about this. I mean, if there were a note from Babe, it would be full of nothing but lies. Consider the source.
Bianca: You read it. You read it, and something in that note made you hate Babe.
Erica: Honey, if there were something useful in the note, I mean, don't you think that I would tell you? But hateful lies -- why would I ever tell you anything like that? I couldn't hurt you like that. Neither one of us could --
Bianca: "Us"? Who's "us"? Mom, don't protect me against my will. Who is "us"?
Erica: J.R. and I didn't want you to --
Bianca: J.R.? What does J.R. have to do with this?
Erica: Ok, no. No more. I cannot hurt you.
Bianca: You will tell me, Mom. You will tell me right now what was in that note from Babe.
Adam: Nobody is going to take your baby away from you! Babe can't get within a hundred yards of her.
J.R.: Do you think that's the only way that Babe can get to me? Hmm? She's a lying whore that would do anything to break the bond between Bess and me!
Adam: How? She signed over custody to you! She's left town! You've won, J.R. Enjoy it.
J.R.: No, it's not over. I have a feeling.
Adam: Fine, you and Babe -- you can keep an eye on her. Then fine. I'll have one of my best men track her down --
J.R.: No -- are you listening to me? Are you deaf? If you lock Babe and Jamie up, Babe is going to talk. And if she talks, she will lie! And if she lies, people are going to start believing what --
Adam: What lie? What --
J.R.: That my baby might be dead!
Maria: Hi, Myrtle.
Myrtle: Hi, darling.
Maria: I've got a trade offer for you. How about I tip the valet and you rein in the terror on heels?
Myrtle: Darling, the girl will be delighted. And the terror, I take it, is --
Maria: La Kane, of course.
Maria: Because vicious never goes out of style. But I know you're the only one that she's going to listen to, and she's -- she's hurting a lot of people, Myrtle. Please -- and she hasn't the first clue about me and Edmund, or me and Zach, for that matter.
Myrtle: Well -- you know, there's a saying Iím very fond of. You throw a rock at a pack of dogs, and the one that barks is the one that got hit.
Greenlee: You want to do this? Metaphorically hold my hand as we swoon over packaging and our fabulous fragrance?
Ryan: I live to swoon, you understand? I'm, like, the swoon master. Five bucks says I am the best swooner in this joint.
Greenlee: Ok, fine, I get it. The sooner we swoon, the sooner we go home.
Kendall: Cute. You brought a date. Did anyone mention this wasn't the prom?
Greenlee: Why are you even here?
Kendall: Well, I can never resist a chance to swoon.
Ryan: Ok, ladies, today is about Enchantment fragrance, so can we just play nice and enjoy the moment, please?
Greenlee: Oh, I can't wait. I'm having a blast already.
>> On the next "All My Children" --
Babe: How about you unbutton my blouse? If you won't do it, then I will.
Bianca: I know that Babe wrote me a note, too. And my mother just told me what it said. So now I want to know what you have to say.
Ryan: What happened?
Greenlee: They're after us.
