Ryan: Why couldn't Zach just make it easy on us?
Aidan: What, like leave us a signed confession? We're lucky we got anything.
Ryan: Well, next time we're going to sift through his condo, see if he left us another present like the box of bullets in his office.
Kendall: Bullets? Well, then you have proof. Zach's guilty.
Ethan: I don't want to spend another night in that cell, ok?
Zach: Ms. Frye should take care of that.
Ethan: Get out, unless you've come to confess.
Bartender: Hello. What can I get for you?
Greenlee: Ahem. Two glasses of your finest champagne.
Greenlee: And to go.
Bartender: Well, if you want room service, why don't --
Greenlee: Well, put lids on the glasses or something. I'm going to the courthouse, and I do not want to lose one single bubble.
Adam: J.R. and I have been of one mind for months. But he will not give up on his former stepbrother.
Mary: Children -- you try to guide them and teach them, but they always manage to revert to the nasty little monsters that they are. I cannot remember the last time Greenlee spoke to me.
Mary: Greenlee, please don't make a scene.
Greenlee: Mommy, Mommy, Mommy! It's been forever! How are you two? And, Adam, how is that darling little granddaughter of yours?
Bianca: Tad, you were going to tell me the truth, and I want to hear it. So go ahead, drop the bomb, whatever it is, now.
Tad: Bianca, I didn't expect --
Bianca: That I would follow you here? Well, I knew you had to talk to David before you said another word to me.
David: That's right, and we were still talking when --
Bianca: Listen, don't tell me that you need more time, all right? I'm sick of getting the run-around. I want answers.
Tad: No one deserves answers more than you do, and it's way past time you got them.
Jonathan: I'm ready.
Jonathan: Look at my tie. Hi.
Maggie: You look so handsome.
Maggie: Hmm, yeah.
Jonathan: Maybe you'd --
Jonathan: Like to tear all of my clothes off me and have your way with me, then.
Maggie: Ok, how about after Ethans arraignment, yeah? And then I'll ravage you.
Jonathan: It's a date, just you and me. That's still the way you want it, right?
Maggie: You mean Bianca? I told you, I'm fine with seeing less of her.
Maggie: But I think I do owe her an explanation, you know, tell her what I'm thinking, what I'm feeling.
Jonathan: I should have known. Hey, last night and this morning -- they were unbelievable. They were. But you're really not ready to give up Bianca.
Bianca: Tad, I came for the truth. That's all I want.
Tad: The first thing you should know is that Babe and Jamie are in trouble, big trouble.
Bianca: But it could have been worse, right? I mean, the last time I saw Babe, she was acting really odd and saying so many weird things, and I made the assumption that she and Jamie were planning to kidnap Bess, but they didn't. Oh, God, it's worse than that? Tad, please tell me.
Tad: I can't. I want to, but I just can't. It's -- it's too dangerous.
Bianca: Dangerous for whom? You know that I would never put Babe and Jamie in any more danger.
Tad: I can't put you in that position. I'm sorry. Believe me, you'll know soon enough.
Bianca: That's what Babe said, and I'm still in the dark.
Tad: Please just trust us. Later on --
David: When the time is right, Bianca, you're going to get all the answers you want.
Krystal: More than you want. And like Tad said, it won't be long.
Bianca: Ok. You need to look out for Babe and Jamie. I understand. Your children have to come first. I know I'd do the same thing to protect my child.
Kendall: We're telling Livia right now.
Ryan: Hey, Kendall -- Kendall!
Kendall: Actually, no, no. You know what? We'll go to the police. As soon as they found out that you found the bullets, the same caliber that hit you --
Aidan: And they'll do nothing.
Kendall: It's like finding the smoking gun.
Ryan: They found the gun that was shot in Ethans storage locker.
Kendall: Yeah. Zach planted it there.
Aidan: A thousand people, Kendall, within 100 miles bought the same caliber bullet with the trademark blue dot.
Ryan: It doesn't mean any of those pe-- any of those people planted the gun to try and set Ethan up.
Aidan: Yeah, I got to take this.
Ryan: All right. Look, a box of bullets isn't going to save Ethan.
Kendall: But you want to?
Ryan: I want to find out who tried to kill me.
Kendall: He didn't do it. Ryan, Ethan did not do it, and you have to be careful because the shooter is still loose.
Ryan: It's possible.
Kendall: What, Greenlee didn't tell you I came by to warn you?
Ryan: Well, she's got a lot on her mind.
Kendall: So she didn't tell you any of that? All right, I'm really not trying to trash her here, but I think your wife has lost it.
Greenlee: That cut is so perfect for your figure, and the shade makes your eyes just pop.
Adam: Well, something has, anyway.
Greenlee: It brings out the gold flecks in your eyes and the blush in your cheeks.
Mary: Oh, what brought this on?
Greenlee: Don't you agree my mother looks fabulous?
Adam: Oh, Mary's always been well turned out, yes.
Greenlee: Ooh, a master of understatement. Mother, how can you stand it?
Adam: Those tiny little flecks in her eyes are tiny little dollar signs.
Mary: Very funny.
Adam: Nobody adores Mary more than I.
Greenlee: So when do you intend to make an honest woman of her?
Mary: Greenlee. This is not the place to be discussing that.
Greenlee: Brooke --
Greenlee: Don't you think that my mother and Adam make an amazing couple?
Mary: Darling, please.
Brooke: Couple of what? Oh. They're amazing, all right.
Greenlee: Shouldn't they get married?
Brooke: To each other?
Greenlee: Of course. Look at them.
Brooke: They definitely deserve each other.
Greenlee: See? I'm not the only one.
Adam: Well, I'll leave you to your girl talk. Excuse me.
Greenlee: Could you just excuse me. Would you bring us --
Adam: Drowning your sorrows, Brooke?
Brooke: I have none. I'm waiting for an interview. Disappointed?
Adam: I'd be envious if that were true.
Brooke: Adam, get to the point. What pot are you trying to stir?
Adam: You're completely clueless, aren't you? Your son has run away with the little tramp that J.R. married.
Greenlee: You know, Christmas -- oh, thank you. Christmas is the perfect time for a wedding -- all that evergreen -- or New Year's -- perfect beginnings.
Mary: Well, marriage certainly agrees with you. It's like you're an entirely different person.
Greenlee: Oh, no one could ask for a better husband than Ryan. In fact, if you're lucky, we'll soon be calling you granny.
Kendall: Is Greenlee hitting booze or drugs, or does she just need a really good shrink?
Ryan: What have you seen?
Kendall: Well, what haven't I seen? The girl opened the door naked as a jaybird.
Ryan: Yeah, I heard about that.
Kendall: But she didn't tell you what happened when I came by alone.
Ryan: You tell me.
Kendall: Ok, well, your door was wide open, God knows why. I walked in and Greenlee was lying on the couch staring at nothing.
Ryan: So, I don't know. Maybe she was just thinking.
Kendall: No, she was catatonic, Ryan. The
lights were on, but no one was home. I had to shake her out of her zombie
Zach: Now, this isn't a closed hearing, is it?
Livia: My client's being arraigned.
Ethan: Yeah, and I don't want you around, so buzz off.
Zach: Ryan was shot on my property, so I feel somewhat responsible.
Ethan: This isn't for your entertainment.
Zach: Can I talk to him alone, please?
Livia: Can he?
Ethan: What the hell. Maybe it'll get rid of him.
Livia: You make one bit of trouble, and I'll have you thrown out of here so fast.
Ethan: So, what's so private?
Zach: I came to apologize.
Ethan: And I should care why?
Zach: When you came to town claiming to be a Cambias, I could have set you straight.
Ethan: "Coulda, shoulda, woulda," as Kendall says.
Zach: But I wanted to protect myself.
Ethan: It's only natural to look out for number one.
Zach: And the only way I could have helped you was to tell the world that I was Alexander Cambias, Jr.
Ethan: Now they know.
Zach: And you have every reason to be angry with me.
Ethan: Why don't you tell me something I don't know.
Zach: You can hold on to that anger and that pride. That's fine. But be careful.
Ethan: Careful, Alex. You're beginning to sound like that's fatherly advice.
Zach: Pride can bring you down. It can take everything from you, including your life.
Ethan: Is that a threat?
Zach: I'm trying to help you.
Ethan: Or psych me out?
Ethan: Really? It makes sense. You didn't come down here to comfort me. You're not my father. You're not even -- you're not even a friend of my father's. You have no idea what kind of man he is. You've been having a great time at my expense, playing me like some kind of fool.
Zach: No, I haven't.
Ethan: I'm not your son. I'm nothing to you.
Zach: Yes, you are.
Ethan: Well, now you claim that I am your son after all?
Ethan: Well, you -- I heard what you said.
Zach: What I said was you are not nothing to me. I do have a conscience despite what people think.
Ethan: Well, bully for you.
Zach: Be glad you're not my son.
Ethan: Believe me, I am. Now, I have bigger things to worry about.
Zach: If you were a Cambias, they would crucify you the same way they did Michael.
Ethan: Your brother was a rapist, and he deserved even worse than what he got.
Zach: Michael got lost. Life changed him the same way it did my father. If I had stayed, maybe I --
Ethan: What? It would have been happily ever after? You think you're a fantastically powerful guy, Zach.
Zach: I did nothing to help Michael.
Ethan: Take your confessions to a priest.
Zach: I'm not looking for forgiveness. But I will not make the same mistake twice.
Ethan: No chance of that -- I mean, you being out of relatives and all that.
Zach: They will not convict you of something you didn't do. Let me get you out of this.
Ethan: What, as they lead me off to the scaffold, you're going to swing in on a rope and save me?
Zach: You don't believe me?
Ethan: Why should I? A few kind words from you and I would have been back home in England when Lavery got shot.
Zach: You can't stop me from helping you.
Ethan: I can't do much of anything like this, can I?
Zach: Will you let me see what I can do?
Ethan: You think you can change lives so easily? Go ahead. You owe me.
Kendall: Greenlee was teetering back and forth 10 floors above very hard concrete. And if I hadn't have grabbed her, that's where she would have landed.
Ryan: Greenlee's not suicidal.
Kendall: Look, Ryan, I don't know what's going on with her, but I know a Humpty Dumpty imitation when I see one.
Ryan: Are you sure you're not exaggerating or just jumping to conclusions here, Kendall?
Kendall: Well, did she tell you about her little hiking expedition story, the old mineshaft? She was trying to climb back into the mineshaft, Ryan. She practically begged me to push her in. I mean, what's going on with that?
Ryan: I don't know. I can't answer that.
Kendall: Well, she nearly died down there and now she wants an encore?
Ryan: Hey, listen, have you got anything else?
Kendall: What, that's not enough? Ryan, even I'm worried about her.
Ryan: Well, you don't have to be, because I'm going to take care of Greenlee.
Mary: You're pregnant?
Greenlee: Not yet, but we're hoping.
Mary: But you've got so much time. You don't need to rush into motherhood.
Greenlee: Because you couldn't stand it?
Mary: No, of course not, but why don't you enjoy your freedom? You know, children really change a marriage. But if you're determined, that's lovely. I'll be happy to drop by with some decorating ideas to convert your guestroom into a nursery --
Greenlee: Ha, is that what you call the golden prison cell you created for me? A nursery -- I wouldn't let you set foot in our home. Get out of here! Get away from me!
Mary: Darling, this is my table. You joined me and Adam.
Greenlee: I'm late. I have a really bad headache. I got to go.
Maggie: No. No, come on. Don't leave like this.
Jonathan: Look, it's my fault. It's my fault. I wanted to believe that you were ready, and I think you wanted to believe that you were ready, but you're not, you know, and it's -- it's ok.
Maggie: No! No, it's not ok!
Jonathan: We'll take some cool-down time, we'll see how things shake down.
Maggie: Why are you doing this? I don't want to cool down anything.
Jonathan: Maggie, if you need space, I want you to have it.
Maggie: No, I don't want any space. All I want to do is be with you. I mean, if Ryan didn't need you so badly, I wouldn't even let you walk out of that door.
Jonathan: Well, this isn't a challenge, this isn't a contest or --
Maggie: You don't think I know that? I love spending time with you. I mean, I was even hoping that you would want --
Jonathan: I'd want what?
Maggie: You'd stay and live with me?
Jonathan: Are you asking me to move in?
Maggie: Will you?
Jonathan: You have no clue how happy you make me.
Tad: Thank you for understanding.
David: Yeah, and we'll -- we'll be in touch with you as soon as we can, ok?
Bianca: Oh, no, I'm not leaving until you tell me how I can help.
Krystal: Bianca, you can't.
Tad: No -- no, wait a minute, unless you could tell us where Babe and Jamie took off to.
Krystal: Did they tell you?
Krystal: Not even a hint of someplace?
Bianca: No. Nothing. But no mother and daughter have ever been as close as you and Babe, and she will call you. And when she does, I want you to tell her that I'm going to watch over Bess and keep her safe.
Tad: Wait. I just -- I want you to know how sorry I am. I'm so sorry for all of this.
Bianca: You know, in a way, it's a relief -- I mean, not that Babe and Jamie are in trouble, but I really couldn't understand why Babe would ever leave Bess.
Krystal: Because it's the right thing to do.
Bianca: And she knew that all of us would unite to take care of that little girl.
David: Babe is so lucky to have had you for a friend.
Bianca: Well, I'm lucky to have her. She gave me Miranda. If Babe hadn't been there to deliver my child, I might never have gotten to hold my daughter or know Miranda at all.
David: Look, I don't mean to push you out, Bianca, but we really have a lot of calls to make.
Bianca: No, it's ok. No, I understand. When Babe and Jamie do call, would you please give them my love?
Tad: Well, if there's a God in heaven, hell's going to open up and swallow you two whole.
Brooke: He probably didn't turn on his cell. I'm going to call Maggie.
Adam: Listen, listen to me. He's gone. The good news is he'll probably figure -- see through that little tramp eventually.
Brooke: You are talking about the mother of your granddaughter.
Adam: Well, Babe Carey is nothing more than a broodmare, an incubator.
Brooke: You know what? I don't have to listen to this.
Adam: No -- no, Brooke, I'm sorry. I -- look, I'm upset. Let me help you find your son, please. Let's work together.
Livia: If it's not all talk, he better keep his help within the law. I would not trust Zach -- whatever he calls himself -- as far as I could throw him.
Ethan: I agree.
Kendall: I don't care what it costs, Aidan, ok? I know you can prove Ethans innocent. As many operatives as you want to bring onboard, I'll pay whatever it takes.
Aidan: Kendall, I'm working with Ryan.
Kendall: He didn't fire that shot any more than I did.
Aidan: Well, that remains to be seen, doesn't it?
Kendall: Listen, Aidan, when everybody thought that I shot Michael, no one believed me but you. You believed in me. You helped me then. Please help me now.
Aidan: Hey, you trust the guy, you want him out of jail. I get that, but Ryan is still a target, and I want him to be safe. I know you do, too.
Jonathan: Where's Greenlee?
Ryan: I wish I knew.
Bailiff: All rise. Court is now in session, the honorable Judge Lee Pleet presiding.
Judge: Ms. Frye, Mr. Mullen.
Livia: Your Honor.
Bailiff: Case 981347, Commonwealth vs. Ethan Andrew Ramsey, charge, attempted murder.
Judge: Is the defendant present?
Livia: He is, Your Honor.
Judge: How do you plead, Mr. Ramsey?
Ethan: Not guilty, Your Honor.
Greenlee: I object! He's guilty. I object, and all of you should, too. Why are you wasting our time like this? Just put him away!
Ryan: No, no, stop, stop.
Judge: Young woman --
Greenlee: Ethan Ramsey is guilty, way guilty, and he's got to pay!
Judge: Young woman, I will not allow this in my court.
Greenlee: I want justice, truth. Isn't that why we're all here?
Judge: Sit down and be quiet, or I'll have you ejected!
Ryan: Greenlee --
Greenlee: For the record, I am Greenlee Lavery and the wife of the victim, and it is a miracle that I am not his widow!
Judge: That is not relevant to this arraignment!
Greenlee: Ethan nearly succeeded in murdering my husband.
Livia: Your Honor, please!
Greenlee: How is that not relevant? I was an eyewitness!
Judge: Then you can speak at trial.
Ryan: Greenlee, come on, outside!
Judge: I'd listen to him if I were you.
Greenlee: His scar says it all. Honey, show them your scar.
Ryan: I'm not going to show --
judge: Either sit silently or leave this courtroom!
Greenlee: Do not order me around. I am not a child.
Ryan: Judge, I'm going to apologize on behalf --
Greenlee: I will not be spoken to like that!
Ryan: She's been under a lot of stress lately.
Judge: Mr. Lavery, take your wife outside.
Ryan: I will do that. Come with me right now. Everything is ok.
Greenlee: No, it's not, not when Ethan can say he's not guilty, no!
Judge: Another outburst, and I will hold you in contempt!
Greenlee: What's it going to take to get you to listen to me? Should I rip off your robe? I've done it before. I can do it again.
Judge: Bailiff, escort her outside, please.
Ryan: No, no, she's fine.
Greenlee: You're not going to let him get away with it, Ryan.
Ryan: It's fine, it's fine. I'm sorry. She's ok.
Greenlee: Ryan, stop!
Ryan: Stop! Stop it! Ok, just stop!
Adam: You know my resources are impressive.
Brooke: Hmm. Why offer them to me? If you're telling the truth, if Jamie ran away with Babe, why don't you want her to stay gone?
Adam: For your own peace of mind, you need to stay in touch with Jamie. I have exactly the same situation with Colby.
Brooke: Oh, Colby is the string, uh-huh, ok.
Adam: I'd turn the world upside down to find Jamie if you will use your influence with Tad.
Brooke: Tad? What does Tad have to do with --
Adam: Liza could never have arranged this disappearance without Martin. Of course, he's not going to cooperate with me. But you --
Brooke: I could lean on Tad.
Adam: You can hold a gun to his empty head for all I care.
Brooke: Well, there's just one problem.
Adam: We'll work through it. Let's join forces. What is it?
Brooke: I don't make deals with the devil, and as far as I'm concerned, getting Colby away from you is the smartest thing that Liza ever did.
Tad: How could you possibly look Bianca in the eye? I hope neither one of you gets a decent night's sleep for the rest of your lives.
David: How come your hands are so clean? You could have told Bianca the truth just now!
Tad: No, I couldn't, Doc. I had to keep my mouth shut because now my son's facing murder charges -- remember? I'm not the one who's been lying for month after month after month.
David: And what makes your reason any better than ours?
Tad: I'm not going to stand here and waste my time trying to explain it to you, because with you lying is a way of life! You -- I thought I knew you.
David: Oh, please.
Tad: I thought I could trust you.
David: Please. You knew what you wanted.
Krystal: Ok, stop it.
David: Fine. Go ahead, rant on.
Tad: What gave you the right to change that DNA test? What gave you the right to decide whose baby lived and whose baby died? With him, it's no mystery. Nothing is too low for you.
David: Oh, here we go again, the same old song, Tad.
Tad: Bianca loved you. She trusted you. She defended you.
Krystal: It's not David's fault, Tad. He was in too deep before he even knew it.
David: You were protecting your son just now, right? That's what we've been doing for months!
Tad: My son? Thanks to you, my son is in trouble so deep I doubt I'll ever be able to get him out. Kidnapping the Lieutenant Governor's son, murder charges? My God!
Krystal: Tad --
Tad: No, don't. Don't even start, please. Don't try. It's way too late for "I'm sorrys" or excuses. If Jamie has to pull any prison time because you failed to do the right thing when it counted, I swear I will track you down no longer how long it takes, wherever you run, wherever you hide, and I will make you sorrier than you've ever been in your entire life.
Bianca: Hi. You're not moving out, too, are you?
Maggie: No. No, just packing away summer stuff, making space. Come on in.
Bianca: Well, didn't Jamie leaving do that?
Maggie: Yes, but I'm not ready to put his stuff away yet.
Bianca: Right. It's kind of weird that he's gone, huh? It feels a little lonely, doesn't it? Maggie, have you heard from them?
Maggie: No. You?
Maggie: I got to ask you something.
Bianca: Ok, shoot.
Maggie: Do you think that you could, you know, call before you just drop by? I mean, give us a warning?
Maggie: Jonathan and me. He's moving in.
Mr. Mullen: Mr. Ramsey has no ties in Pine Valley, no family. He's a citizen of Great Britain. Not only is he a significant flight risk, but he came to this country claiming to be someone that he is not, possibly with an intent to defraud.
Livia: Your Honor, Kurt, do I hear a fraud charge?
Kurt: Your Honor --
Judge: I'm with Ms. Frye on this one. Stick to the charge your office made.
Kurt: I'm merely pointing out that Mr. Ramsey recently tried to reinvent himself. This could aid in his attempt to flee jurisdiction.
Judge: Point taken.
Kurt: We're asking that Mr. Ramseys bail be denied.
Judge: Well, Ms. Frye, I'm sure you have something to say about that.
Livia: I do, Your Honor. My client has no previous convictions. He came to this country under the honest belief that he was the son of Alexander Cambias, Jr. There was no intent to be malicious or fraudulent. He was simply attempting to claim what he honestly believed was his.
Judge: What I said to Mr. Mullen applies to you, too. The current charge is --
Livia: Considering the evidence against my client, I can't believe Mr. Mullen is even pressing for a trial.
Judge: Move it along, Ms. Frye. This isn't closing statements.
Livia: Your Honor, my client is an honest man. He's from working-class parents. He's willing to surrender his passport. He has no desire to leave Pine Valley until this matter is taken care of and his name has been cleared. He's willing to continue to reside here and help me prepare for defense. Now, I request that his bail be set at a reasonable amount so that an innocent man does not have to wait behind bars until a trial that is going to set him free.
Greenlee: I heard Ethan say "not guilty," and it's like he flipped a switch in my head. All that mattered was getting through to the judge.
Ryan: What's happening, Greenlee?
Greenlee: I'm worried about you.
Ryan: Well, then we're even. And you were worried about you, too. Remember, Kendall told me what happened at the apartment --
Greenlee: You know what? Kendall has a big mouth --
Ryan: And on the balcony.
Greenlee: And it broadcasts her twisted take on the world.
Ryan: Look, look, look, I'm glad you're scared for me and you want me protected and that's great.
Greenlee: I love you, Ryan, more than my own life.
Ryan: I love you, too. But what you did in there -- I mean, that was kind of over the top. It was a little out of control, Greenlee.
Greenlee: You think I -- I made the judge side with Ethan?
Ryan: No, I don't care about Ethan right now. I care about you.
Greenlee: I'm fine. I swear.
Ryan: Ok. Well, then let me deal with Ethan, ok, and the trial and everything. Can you do that?
Greenlee: What if the judge lets him go?
Ryan: I'll deal with it.
Greenlee: Let's go in and find out, ok? I promise, I promise I won't be out of order or in contempt or anything, ok?
Judge: Bail is set at $1 million, cash.
Livia: Your Honor!
Judge: $1 million, Ms. Frye. What a capper to a long, long day.
Bailiff: All rise.
Kendall: Hey, listen, I'm going to get the bail.
Livia: $1 million cash? Oh, better get on that right away. I'll be back.
Ethan: A million -- a million dollars, Kendall.
Kendall: Listen to me -- it can be got, ok? Not out of my bank account at the moment, but Zach's another story. So, Zach, how long will it take you to pull together a million dollars?
Ethan: Time to put your money where your mouth is.
Zach: I can't do it. I can't post your bail.
Kendall: This is no time for jokes.
Zach: I'm not joking.
Ethan: All your talk about getting me out of this -- you know I actually bought into it? You Cambiases are all the same -- you're disgusting!
Kendall: I'll get you your bail, I promise.
Greenlee: Kendall, go away.
Kendall: What, you don't want your greatest wish to come true?
Greenlee: You don't know my greatest wish.
Kendall: I know one of them -- getting rid of me. I will sell all my shares of Fusion and never darken your office again.
Ryan: You will do that?
Greenlee: Do we look like imbeciles? Does Ryan have a mark on his forehead? We're not going to give you cash to free that psycho. You're the one who's nuts.
Kendall: At least consider it.
Ryan: Kendall, I would think before I did that.
Jonathan: Here -- hey. You look like you need this more than I do.
Greenlee: It's not vodka, is it?
Jonathan: No. Just water.
Greenlee: I should toss it on Kendall and see if she melts.
Jonathan: Is she haggling you again?
Greenlee: Like I need her to be Ethans cheerleader. At least he's still in jail where he belongs.
Kendall: Ethan is innocent. Ok, Ryan, you have to know I would never put you in any danger. I could never try to help someone who would do that to you.
Ryan: Well, I mean, I know you believe in him, but to sell all your interest in Fusion to prove it?
Kendall: I'm convinced. I am completely and utterly convinced. Ethan doesn't have that kind of greed and violence in him. He would never try to kill another human being for money or power or anything, never.
Ryan: He's very lucky to have you in his corner.
Kendall: So do we have a deal?
Ryan: I can't risk it. No deal.
David: What right does Tad have to attack you? You're not a monster, Krystal.
Krystal: I'm worse. Tad's right. If I had shown any backbone early on, then his son and my daughter wouldn't be out God knows where in more trouble than I ever dreamed of.
David: You were trying to spare our daughter.
Krystal: Oh, yeah, and to heck with the rest of the world.
David: This is not your fault. Cramer is the one that set this whole thing into motion.
Krystal: Enough of it is my fault, and to say that I meant well is not a defense. It's a cowardly excuse. In fact, there is no excuse for what I've done and the pain I've caused. Babe and Jamie have probably ruined their lives. Bianca is in agony. Tad has every right to hate my guts.
Tad: Call me back as soon as you get this message.
Brooke: I don't suppose that was Jamie?
Brooke: Because Adam just told me that our son has run off with his daughter-in-law. So tell me it's a lie, another stupid Chandler trick.
Tad: I wish I could. The sad fact is that Jamie and Babe are long gone.
Bianca: You know, sometimes it's good to hold off on moving in.
Maggie: Why? I mean, why not take all the love and happy you can get? He's in love with me, and I'm in love with him. So why should we wait? I mean, what's the point in waiting?
Jonathan: Honey, I'm ho--
Maggie: So, how did the arraignment go?
Jonathan: So good, yeah.
Jonathan: I'm -- hi.
Jonathan: Hi. Hi. I'm going to -- I'm actually going to go over to Ryan's and --
Maggie: No, no, no. Come on.
Jonathan: No, I want to give you girls some privacy.
Maggie: Jonathan, no. This is your home, too, now. No one can ask you to leave, and no one wants you to, right?
Krystal: Bianca doesn't know that Miranda is alive and with J.R. We have got to figure out a way to get that baby back in her arms where she belongs.
David: We will.
Krystal: David, I am just -- I am so angry, I could scream. Bianca does not deserve to be away from her daughter for one more day.
David: It's not going to be much longer.
Krystal: One more hour is too long.
David: I know. We're going to find a way to make this happen. And we're going to find a way to get Miranda away from J.R. I swear we will.
Brooke: Is that it?
Tad: That's it. Short but sweet.
Brooke: How could he do this? I mean, he stood right here while we explained to him why he had to cool it as far as Babe is concerned.
Tad: I know.
Brooke: Tad, he listened.
Tad: Seemed to.
Brooke: He understood that any involvement with Babe would jeopardize her custody, her divorce case. He took that in.
Tad: More like he took us in.
Brooke: Jamie is smarter than this.
Tad: He's smarter than we are. I'm sorry, but the fact is we got taken. You want me to stand here and pretend that that's not true?
Brooke: I want you tell me why our son would do something like this, all right? It makes -- no, no, it makes zero sense, all right, unless he's on self-destruct, and I don't believe that it has just to do with true love. And if you tell me otherwise --
Tad: Ok, ok, you just relax, ok? Don't kill me. I'm not even the messenger.
Brooke: I think that you know more than you're telling me.
Tad: Why would you say that?
Brooke: Why? Because I know you. I know what that nervous half-smile means, so don't even try to end-run me or insult me by implying otherwise, all right? Just spill it.
Tad: Ok, there is something else going on, but I can't tell you about it.
Brooke: Tad --
Tad: I can't.
Brooke: You know, our son is missing, damn it. I don't want you to protect me. I need to know.
Tad: The person I'm trying to protect is our son. You can count on one thing. I'm going to find Jamie, and I'm going to bring him home.
Kendall: Forget Zach.
Ethan: Alex, you mean? Not easy. He played me again, Kendall.
Kendall: Well, all the Cambias men are scum. I'm going to get you your bail. Don't worry.
Ethan: You can't.
Kendall: Yes, I can. It'll just take me a little longer than I thought.
Ethan: Look, you've done enough, more than enough. So I bed down here for a little bit longer. It's not that much of a step down from the Pine Cone, is it? I'll -- I'll be ok.
Kendall: You trying to make me smile?
Ethan: It'd be a welcome sight.
Greenlee: Let's get out of here.
Ryan: Ok, wait, not until you tell me what's going on, ok? Sit down.
Greenlee: What, did Kendall fill you with more stories?
Ryan: No, this is not about Kendall. This is about you. I'm worried about you.
Greenlee: I had a mini-meltdown. Do you have to keep beating me with it?
Ryan: Do you remember when I agreed to love, cherish, and honor you? Well, concern and caring fits in there, too, ok? "In good times, bad, in sickness, health" -- all that kind of stuff. What, it feels like I'm beating you up? No? Well, then what does it feel like?
Greenlee: It's scary. Really, really scary.
Ryan: You're my wife, Greenlee. All right, whatever this is, we're going to get through it, and we're going to get to the other side, and it's going to be even better. Ok? I promise.
>> On the next "All My Children" --
J.R.: I don't want to hear a word about Bianca needing my baby.
Bianca: We have some unfinished business.
Greenlee: I know what's got me out of whack.
Brooke: Well, nobody steamrolls a marriage like Erica.
Erica: Well, if my marriages never ended, who would you have to date?
Man: Open up in there!
