Edmund: No, that's not good enough, all right? Now, back it up with at least two sources. Listen, we haven't had a major retraction this year. I don't plan on losing that record, ok? All right, thanks. Later.
Edmund: Maddie, sweetheart, get a move on! You're going to miss your bus!
Maria: Edmund? Ed-- come on, this has got to stop! Please, will you just yell at me or argue with me or -- anything is better than not talking at all.
Edmund: You're right.
Zach: No, Frye, Livia. L-I-V-I-A, yes. Just a basic background check. Record on, you know, wins, losses, that kind of thing. Ok. And -- I'll call you back.
Zach: What can I do for you?
Ryan: I want you to accept my apology.
David: So you told him?
Krystal: He figured out that Bess is Miranda.
Tad: I would give anything if I could blame this on you. Well, you sure know how to spread around the joy, don't you?
Krystal: Does this face say joy?
Tad: How long? How long have you been sitting on this little keg of dynamite?
David: I figured it out long before you did, you self-righteous bastard. Now deal with it, and don't you dare take this out on Krystal. Come at me.
Jamie: All right, so do you want a scrambled egg sandwich or a blueberry muffin? Babe?
Babe: Do we even have time?
Jamie: Yeah, we covered a lot of miles today, so we can chill for a few minutes. So which one do you want?
Babe: I'm sorry. Whichever one you don't want, it's fine with me.
Jamie: All right, spill. You're thinking about Bianca and Miranda, right?
Babe: I was just thinking about the night that Miranda was born -- oh, gosh -- when I put her into her mama's arms. I so wish you could have been there to see the look on Bianca's face. It's like her heart, it was just overflowing with love. And God let me witness a miracle. And now it's happening all over again. Gosh, I can just see it -- Bianca's face. She's just going to be smiling, because Mirandas back where she belongs.
Bianca: J.R., I know that I'm the last person that you want to see right now.
Babe's voice: "Bess is Bianca's daughter, and it's time for Bianca's little girl to be with her real mommy. It was our baby, our little boy who died. Our little boy who died."
J.R.: No. This is not happening. You can't have her.
Krystal: Would you just stop it? Stop it! Oh, Tad -- Tad, you can't make this David's fault. This is my dirty work. This is my dirty secret.
Tad: With him standing behind you the entire time, whispering in your ear, giving you that extra little push.
David: All right, you already told the lady how you feel. Now, why don't you just shut up about it?
Tad: Get out.
Krystal: Tad --
Tad: Both of you, just get out.
Krystal: Tad, I swear, when David found out the truth, all he wanted to do was tell Bianca, and then when we figured out that Babe was his, he just wanted to do right by his daughter.
Tad: Oh, why? Why? Because he's such a standup guy? You make me sick. All that time you spent on your soapbox playing Bianca's grand protector, and all it takes is one ancient one-night stand and, boom, "To hell with you, Bianca."
David: Haven't you ever made a choice to protect your child? Oh, but that's right, you don't hold yourself to the same standard you do others!
Tad: We all make choices, David. We all do, and you definitely made yours. You chose to betray Bianca just so you could play hero to your brand-new baby girl.
David: Oh, unbelievable.
Krystal: David wanted to do the right thing --
David: No, no, no, no, don't -- don't waste your time defending me to him. It's pointless.
Tad: You got that right. And just so you know, this has got a lot more to do with just Bianca or Babe. I'm sure he used it to wrap you around his little finger.
David: Oh, you know something? It doesn't matter what you think.
Krystal: The thing that matters is that I messed up. But Babe wanted to make it right, and that is exactly what she did before she took off.
David: She gave us a goodbye letter.
Krystal: I know. Tad got one from Jamie. And she wrote to Bianca and J.R. My daughter is gone, but she's made sure that Bianca gets her daughter back.
Babe: Just think about it, Jamie. Bianca and Miranda -- they're finally back together.
Bianca: Give her to me, J.R. Give me my baby back.
Bianca: Hi, sweetheart! Do you remember me? Do you remember me, Miranda? It's Mommy. Yes! Yes, yes.
Babe: I can just picture it, Jamie. Bianca -- she's holding Miranda so tight like she'll never let her go. Bianca will be crying. That's 100% for sure. This time it's not going to be tears of sorrow or pain. It's --
Babe: It's going to be tears of joy, because all the bad stuff is behind her. Can't you just see it, Jamie?
Jamie: I can't even imagine what Bianca's going through.
Babe: Maybe she feels how I feel when I hold this little peanut, huh, after thinking you were gone for so long. It's like the whole world -- everything's back where it should be. I've got my little boy, and Bianca's with her little girl. I'm right, aren't I? There's no way that J.R. -- he couldn't keep Miranda from Bianca, right?
Jamie: Bianca and J.R. must have read their letters by now. They know the truth. And J.R. would be crazy to keep Miranda away from Bianca.
Bianca: J.R., just tell me where Babe is. I need to know.
J.R.: I told you, she's gone with Jamie.
Bianca: What do you mean, she's gone? Gone where?
J.R.: How the hell am I supposed to know? She said she wanted to go. She's gone.
Bianca: But that's not possible. You have -- ok, I -- I just really need to see Babe right away.
J.R.: No, I thought all this garbage was going to be done. But you know what? The lies -- they just keep on coming. I thought she'd ride off into the sunset with Jamie, but, you know, she just doesn't stop. She doesn't stop -- she doesn't stop making trouble for me.
Bianca: J.R., are you sure that Babe is gone?
J.R.: And she's still trying to ruin my life. She's trying to do anything to get Bess away from me.
Bianca: Listen, J.R., you're upset. We're all upset.
J.R.: She'll say anything, she'll do anything, she'll use anyone, and even Bess. I mean, God, she says that she loves this baby. How can you believe anything that she says? I can't believe anything she says -- like this last stunt. Everything that she wrote down, it's all a bunch of lies! It's all a bunch of sick lies!
Maria: Honey, I just -- I want you to understand what I'm saying.
Edmund: I understand what you're saying. Really, I do, and you're right. I'm not arguing with you.
Maria: Ok, but it's not about being right.
Edmund: But it's true. We can't live like this. It's not good for us, you know, especially the kids. I mean, thank God Sammie's at that exchange program in France.
Maria: Well, I was thinking, you know, once Maddie goes to school this morning, maybe you and I can spend the day together and really get a chance to talk everything out, because you can say what you need to say to me, because I need to hear it.
Edmund: That's not what I had in mind.
Maria: Ok. Well, I know that this is not going to be easy. I know that. I was thinking maybe we could see a marriage counselor. You know, there's some really good ones at the hospital, and I can make some phone calls and find somebody great.
Edmund: I made a phone call, to my lawyer. You should make one, too, because I'm filing for divorce.
Zach: Well, you're already here. You might as well join me. What do you want, some sugar?
Ryan: No, no, no, I'm fine. It's just there's something that I want to get off my chest.
Zach: Of course. I knew there was going to be an agenda.
Ryan: I misjudged you from day one. It seems that you could be one of the good guys after all.
Zach: Oh. How'd you come to that revelation?
Ryan: Well, for starters, look what you've done for me. I mean, here you are, Alex Cambias, Jr., and you haven't made a play for Cambias Industries. I mean, you've got more than a fighting chance at the billions of dollars that your father left me, and, well, it seems that a simple apology isn't really enough, is it?
Zach: Where you going with this?
Ryan: Is that -- is that distrust, because I'm just -- I'm here, I'm offering an olive branch here.
Zach: No, no, no, and I think that's great. And I'm enjoying this, but some of us have to work for a living, so if you can't get to the point, get out. I'm not interested in playing your games today.
Ryan: Oh, you see, now, that's where I don't believe you, because you happen to be an expert at playing games, especially games with guns, so, you want to play now? It's got a 28-inch chrome-and-alloy barrel. It's got a composite stock. It's got a scope mount and a 120-millimeter telescopic sight. It's pretty cool, huh? I mean, it wasn't even tough for me to get. It was just one phone call from the CEO of Cambias Industries and, boom, it was at my door. I could get a whole arsenal of these things if I really wanted to. Imagine the things that I could do.
Zach: Is that supposed to be a threat?
Ryan: Hell, no. No, I didn't buy this thing to use it. I just wanted to get an up-close-and-personal look at the weapon that almost took my life. I mean, my life. You know, it kinds of puts things in perspective. You know what I mean?
Zach: No. Where are you going with this?
Ryan: Well, I guess I just wanted you to see the exact model that the police took out of Ethans storage locker, just like this.
Zach: The point, Lavery.
Ryan: The point? The point is that you used to be at the top of my suspect list. You know, I thought you put the whole game together to get me shot, that whole thing, you know, and I was wrong. I'm sorry. Mea culpa.
Zach: "Mea culpa"? Wow. Next time have someone write a note for you. That'll do.
Ryan: Yeah, ok. I thought you might also want to know that Ethan was arrested for attempted murder, slam dunk, no doubt about it, Alex.
Zach: The name is Zach.
Ryan: Zach, Alex -- whatever. The point is, is that I'm working with the police to make sure this case doesn't fall out again, you understand? I'm offering all of my power, all of my money, all of my considerable resources to make sure that Ethan pays for what he did to me.
Zach: Lavery! Leave Ramsey out of this.
Bianca: So you're telling me that Babe has already left town with Jamie and she didn't take Bess with her?
Bianca: Yeah, like I can't see her sitting right in front of me in your arms. J.R., what's wrong with you?
J.R.: Bianca, how come you're here?
Bianca: Because I needed to see Babe. I wanted to talk her out of leaving town.
J.R.: That's all?
Bianca: Yes, that's all. But now you're telling me that she's already gone with Jamie and she left her baby behind, which doesn't make any sense to me.
J.R.: "Her baby"?
Bianca: Yes, J.R., "Her baby." Bess isn't just yours. You know, what's with you? J.R., just tell me. Babe wouldn't just leave Bess behind. You must have done something to drive her away.
J.R.: I didn't do anything. She left on her own.
Bianca: Well, let's just see what Babe has to say about that.
Maria: Edmund, I -- you have every right to be angry with me. Yes, I kept secrets from you.
Edmund: You kept secrets about Zach.
Maria: And that was wrong, and I'm sorry! I know how wrong that was, but I'm not going to let you end our marriage like this.
Edmund: There's nothing you can do about it.
Maria: Yes, there is. That's not true.
Edmund: You're calling me a liar? Listen, it is over.
Maria: Oh --
Maddie: What's over?
Maria: Honey, you're going to be very late for school, and I'm not writing any tardy excuses today.
Maddie: I can't find my blue jacket.
Maria: All right, ok, I know where it is. I'll get it.
Maddie: You guys are fighting.
Edmund: I'm not going to lie to you, honey.
Maddie: And not just today.
Edmund: I'm sorry. It's not a lot of fun for us either.
Maddie: I don't get it. You still talk to each other, but it's not the same anymore. What happened?
Edmund: Lots of things.
Maddie: You don't even sleep in the same room again. This is bad.
Edmund: This is bad. Your mom and I are having problems.
Maddie: You'll fix them.
Edmund: I'm not really sure that I can.
Maria: Got it. I got it, honey. Have a great day.
Maddie: Bye, Daddy.
Edmund: Bye, baby.
Maria: What did you tell her?
Edmund: Nothing she doesn't already know.
Maria: Oh, come on. You and I need to talk this out first.
Edmund: The kids need to be told.
Maria: No, they do not, because it's not going to happen. I'm not going to give you a divorce.
Ryan: Wow. Considering this is a guy that you just exposed as a fraud -- what's with the whole Papa-Bear act?
Zach: Ethan wasn't trying to scam anyone. He truly believed he was a Cambias.
Ryan: Oh. So that gives him the right to take a shot at me? Or you don't think he did? That's why you're so quick to defend him?
Zach: What I think is that he's been through enough, partly because I didn't tell him who I really was.
Ryan: Oh. Yeah, guilt is a very powerful thing. You know, I heard also that you offered to get him a lawyer. Now, just a friendly heads-up -- I think you should save your money, because, you see, somebody has got to pay for what happened to me, and it's going to be Ethan.
Zach: Spoken like a true Cambias -- the power and cruelty, the arrogance.
Ryan: Yeah. I don't think a Cambias would be quite this obvious. A think a true Cambias would slither around and would insinuate himself into everyone's life and set them up for a fall. And then when the time is right go in for the kill.
Jamie: Babe, you going to eat that or wait for it to sprout wings?
Babe: Sorry. I was just thinking about Kevin and J.R. They both lost a son.
Jamie: I'm sorry, I can't really work up a lot of sympathy for Buchanan. I bet you he knew little James was stolen.
Babe: We don't know that.
Jamie: You didn't see the look on his face when I told him his son didn't look like him. Trust me, he knew.
Babe: Well, according to Paul, Kelly said that she had an affair, but J.R. -- he lost a son and a daughter.
Jamie: After everything J.R. did to you, you still feel sorry for him?
J.R.: Jamie, I would be just as bad as J.R. if I partied on his pain.
Jamie: Yeah, I feel for him, too.
Jamie: Wow. That little guy has got some lungs on him.
Babe: Tell me about it.
Jamie: You know what, though? I got an idea that can put that yelling to some good use.
[Heavy metal plays]
Babe: What are you doing? Are you crazy?
Jamie: Just give me a minute, one second. All right, all right, Ace, ready for the mosh pit? So this is how it starts. You follow the bass line. Here's the deal -- I'm going to buy you an electric bass, I'll play lead guitar, and your mama here, she can ride the drum kit. And then we can go on tour and have our own rock band and you'll never have to get a real job.
Radio Announcer: You're listening to heavy metal all the time. Oh, heads up, headbangers. We got a news alert from up north. Sources say the 8-month-old son of newly elected Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor Kevin Buchanan is missing. We're talking Buchanan Enterprises here. A major search is underway, so keep your eyes and ears open.
Bianca: I will trust Babe over you any day.
J.R.: Give me that.
Bianca: J.R. --
J.R.: It's mine.
Bianca: Why don't you tell me what it says?
J.R.: I said it's nothing but a bunch of lies.
Bianca: Well, you might as well tell me, J.R., because I'm going to find out anyway. Fine. I'm going home. If Babe wrote you a letter, she probably wrote one to me, too.
J.R.: Well, you can't leave.
Bianca: Watch me.
J.R.: No, no, no -- we need you. Bess needs you.
Babe: Jamie, you realize that they're going to be sending out the FBI for us?
Jamie: Yeah, we knew this.
Babe: Well, yeah, I knew it, but I thought maybe we'd have a bigger head start than this. The police are going to be looking everywhere.
Jamie: We got them beat. Nobody knows that we took him. Do you realize how far we've driven already and totally on back roads? Trust me, no one's closing in on us.
Babe: You really think so?
Jamie: I'm telling you they won't catch us.
Babe: Well, we can't let them. I'd die first, Jamie. Nobody's ever, ever taking my baby again.
Tad: Somehow you two have convinced yourself that Bianca getting her baby back this late in the game makes it ok.
David: Boy, you really play your role as judge and jury perfectly.
Tad: Why shouldn't I? Bianca grieved for her daughter, and you two stood there and watched your daughter bond with a baby she never should have gotten in the first place. And the entire time Bianca wished her nothing buy joy. Don't kid yourself, Hayward. She's never going to get back the time she lost with Miranda.
Krystal: That's exactly why Babe insisted that she was part of Bess' life.
Tad: Oh, well, that's generous -- allowing her to babysit her own daughter? I lost J.R. because I sided with Babe against him, because of you. And now it looks like I've lost Jamie, too. He's sacrificing his entire life and for what? So he can help your daughter, a girl who didn't have the guts to stick around and face the music.
David: Shut up! Don't you dare put this on Babe.
Tad: All right, fine, I'll dump it on you and you, because at the end of the day, Krystal, you're the architect of this entire tragedy. You started this entire thing in motion so you could protect your little girl and to hell with anybody else.
David: How do you live in such a black-and-white world, Martin?
Krystal: David, all right. David -- come on, I -- I need some time alone with Tad --
David: Oh, forget it. I'm not going to leave you alone with him so he can beat you down in the same way we knew that he would once he found out the truth.
Krystal: I'll be fine, ok? Just -- just go.
David: We got to talk about Babe.
Krystal: I'll find you, ok?
David: Don't you dare do anything to Krystal.
Tad: What are you, deaf? You're not welcome. Your little savior act doesn't fly around here, David, so take it somewhere else. I don't care how hard you pretend to protect people. In the end, all you ever do is damage. Now, get the hell out of my house.
Krystal: Tad, I know you --
Tad: You're done here, too, Krystal.
Krystal: I knew this would be it. But for what it's worth, I still love you.
Bianca: Well, now I know something's up, J.R.
J.R.: What's up is I hate what happened to us. I hate that our friendship hit bottom.
Bianca: Since when?
J.R.: Do you think I like living my life paranoid around you? You think this is fun for me?
Bianca: It's your choice, J.R.
J.R.: I want it to stop. But I need your help. And I know what a fantastic godmother you are and how much you love this little girl. But I got to tell you, something got twisted inside me when you took Bess from the hospital.
Bianca: Well, something inside me got twisted, too, but I have never been more sorry about anything in my life, and I've done everything I can to get the help that I need. Now, what the hell does that have to do with this?
J.R.: I talked to Kendall. She said that I needed to start putting my stuff aside and putting Bess first.
Bianca: Well, that's new.
J.R.: This is really important. And it's important for you to be a part of Bess' life in a big way. With Babe gone, she needs someone to look up to like a mother figure.
Bianca: She has a mother, but you have somehow driven her out of town.
J.R.: No, Babe left Pine Valley because she wanted to. That's why it's even more critical for you to be a part of Bess' life. She loves you so much, and everyone knows how much you love her.
Bianca: She needs her real mother.
J.R.: She needs a strong woman. You're that woman.
Bianca: You must be joking, J.R. You have never wanted me anywhere near Bess.
J.R.: I'm sorry for that.
Bianca: You're sorry? I don't think I've ever heard you say you're sorry about anything. Now, I know something must be up.
J.R.: Come on, Bianca, give me some credit here.
Bianca: Oh, please. Two minutes ago you were ranting about how I couldn't have Bess.
J.R.: I'm sorry. This whole Babe thing's got me crazed. You know, I -- I'm giving you an opportunity here to get close to my little girl.
Bianca: Until you change your mind and you push me out of her life again. J.R., you'll have to excuse me if I'm a little cynical.
J.R.: You know, I'm sorry for all the times I allowed my paranoia to get in the way, all the times I didn't let you see Bess. Most of all, I want to be able to trust you around my little girl.
Bianca: Why should I ever trust you again?
J.R.: Well, then I'll have to earn it, starting right now. I've got something that I have to take care of that's very important. You wouldn't mind watching Bess for me, would you? I mean, I won't take long, I promise. Give me a chance to prove to you that I mean what I say. Hmm? Huh? How about it? Now, come on.
Bianca: Hello, sweetie. Yes.
J.R.: So, are we cool?
Bianca: Hi, sweetheart. Do you remember me?
Ryan: You're not nervous, are you? Because I put blanks in it. You know, the same way that you did in your little casino game when you gave Kendall the gun she pointed at me? Where do you come up with this stuff?
Zach: You need to leave.
Ryan: On that subject, what are you still doing here? Because I thought you were going to leave, and yet here you are. Hey, is it Maria? Because I got to tell you, man, that is just a huge waste of your time.
Zach: Now, Lavery.
Ryan: Well, I can't say it hasn't been fun. And now the fun really begins.
Maria: I am not going to allow you to destroy our lives and our kids' lives.
Edmund: I'm going to destroy our lives? Come on. If you fight this divorce, it's just going to make it longer, dirtier, and more expensive.
Maria: No, do you see what you're doing? God, do you even hear yourself? You hold grudges like this. It's all or nothing with you. You used to do this with Dimitri.
Edmund: Well, it's kind of tough to let it slide when your wife sleeps with your brother.
Maria: Edmund --
Maria: This time there was no infidelity. Come on, there's not going to be any.
Edmund: No, this time you managed to commit adultery without actually sleeping with the guy.
Maria: No, I am committed to this marriage, and I'm committed to you.
Edmund: I don't believe you.
Maddie: Mom, guess what --
Maria: You missed the bus.
Maddie: I'm sorry.
Maria: Ok, go jump in the car. I'll be there in a minute.
Maddie: Ok, but hurry.
Maria: We are not finished here, Edmund.
Edmund: Oh, yes, we are.
Maria: No, we're not, and when I come back, we're going to finish it.
Edmund: Yeah, it's Edmund. Come to Wildwind. It's about Maria.
J.R.: All right, Babe, where the hell is that letter?
Bianca: Oh, sweetheart. Don't fuss, ok? Your mama's not going to be away for long, I promise. And if she has to be, she's got a good reason. She'll be back as soon as she can. Hi.
Winifred: Where's Mr. Chandler? Junior?
Bianca: Oh, Winifred, it's ok. J.R. wanted me to watch Bess. Really, you can relax. Well, what is that? Could that be food for you, for a little hungry girl? Is that why you've been so fussy?
Winifred: This is when she usually eats.
Bianca: Oh, well, that's great. You can just leave it there. I'll feed her. Not to worry. Well. Let's see what goodies we have for little Bess today. That looks to me like pureed peas. Mmm. Yum-yum.
Babe: Ooh, you are going to love this, little man.
Jamie: Ooh, what are you getting?
Babe: Oh, we are having pureed peas.
Babe: It's good for him.
Bianca: Here you go, sweetheart. Take a big bite --
Bianca: Big bite. Mmm. Good girl. Does that taste good? Mmm. It smells delicious. Yum-yum. Do you know how lucky you are? You're the luckiest little girl in the world. It's true. You have so many people who love you.
Bianca: I know. Your mommy most of all, I can promise you that. Here. Take another big bite of it. Come on, good girl. Mmm. Don't you worry, ok? You're going to be back with your mommy soon.
Babe: Yes, you. You're going to feed him.
Babe: Come on, you can do it.
Jamie: All right. Ok, here you go, little man. Just try not to hold this against me.
Babe: Way to go, James. It was a bull's-eye.
Babe's voice: "Dear Bianca, after you read this, you will hate me."
Bianca: I love you. Yeah.
Aidan: What happened?
Ryan: Well, he took off as soon as we were done in here.
Aidan: Yeah, I'd seen him leave the casino. I was actually worried that I'd come back in here and find you flat on the floor with another bullet in your belly.
Ryan: Well, I'm very sorry to disappoint you.
Aidan: So, did you get anything out of him?
Ryan: Well, I kept on poking him in his cage, you know, and he got all testy on me.
Aidan: That's what you wanted, isn't it? Did he give anything away?
Ryan: You know Slater. He was -- he was a little upset the fact that Ethans taken the fall. He hates that Ethans taking the fall, I know that.
Aidan: Well, I'm telling you, Ryan, he must know something.
Ryan: Yeah, like maybe he's the guy who wants me dead. But I can't let up until I know.
Aidan: Well, it's a risk.
Ryan: It's a bigger risk if I do nothing about it. You know, I mean, how am I supposed to start a life with Greenlee with this hanging over my head? I got to sleep with one eye open? I don't like what it's doing to my wife. She's all stressed out.
Aidan: You know, it certainly puts a damper on the honeymoon phase, that's for sure.
Ryan: Yeah. Yeah, well, I have to neutralize the enemy before we can start a life together.
Aidan: Well, I don't know what you think you're going to find in here, because I've already been over this office --
Aidan: Back to front.
Ryan: Well, maybe he -- I don't know -- put something away since you've looked, something incriminating. Maybe it's in here. Now, what do we have here?
Maria: You know you had Maddie so upset?
Edmund: I know. It is better in the long run, though.
Maria: What are you -- I just had to reassure her to calm her down.
Edmund: Do us all a favor, Maria, please, do not give them false hope, ok? You will crush them in the end.
Maria: God, would you listen to yourself, please? How do I convince you that I am not giving up on this marriage, Edmund?
Maria: I -- I'm not going to get it, because I'm not expecting anybody, so I don't care who it is.
Edmund: I'll get it.
Maria: Oh, jeez, you are impossible. So impossible. What are you doing here?
Zach: I don't know. Your husband called me.
Edmund: I called him to come and get you. Take her, Slater. She's yours.
David: How's this for your worst nightmare come true? Babe didn't just take off with Jamie. They kidnapped Ace. I guess I should take that back. This is my worst nightmare. You knew. You knew and you didn't stop them?
Krystal: I talked to Babe at the hotel in Llanview before --
David: Before what? Before they committed a felony?
David: And you didn't think that you should stop them?
Krystal: I tried to talk her out of it.
David: How hard would it have been? "Don't do it, Babe. You're going to ruin your life."
Krystal: She was convinced that it was the only way she could protect Ace from J.R.
David: All right, but how could you have bought into that?
Krystal: She's not a child, David. She's a woman and a mother, and she knows what's at stake.
David: No, no, she doesn't have a clue. She's driven by fear and guilt and pain. Didn't we tell her that we were going to get her boy back for her?
Krystal: Yeah, and what a bang-up job we've done of that.
David: Krystal, it's not like buying a puppy. This was a delicate operation. And instead of trusting us, now she's made matters worse by running off with Jamie, and you let them.
Krystal: "Let them"? No one could stop her. She's was going to get that boy no matter what.
David: Well, she'd better enjoy him while she still can, because the Feds are going to be all over them. There's no place they're going to be safe. Do you have any idea what's going to happen to them once they're caught?
Jamie: All right, well, strap him in. We're ready to go.
Babe: There is my big boy. All right, let's do it.
Babe: My God, Jamie, they're coming this --
Jamie: Ok, ok --
Babe: They're coming this way. What do we do?
Jamie: Just calm down. Maybe they're -- they'll probably just going to go right by.
Babe: They're stopping.
Bianca: I know, sweetheart. Babe promised that you would be with your mama. Where is she? Where's your mama?
Babe's voice: "There aren't enough 'I'm sorrys' to make it better. And the pain that I've caused you will haunt me forever. And I'm not going to ask for your forgiveness, because I've already taken so much from you. Those months with your daughter were not mine to take. I have no excuse. It was my child who was lost in that crash."
Erica: J.R. What are you doing here? What is that? Give it to me.
Bianca: Oh, sweetheart. What did your mama write in that letter?
[Knock on door]
Winifred: Mr. Martin.
Tad: Hi, Winifred.
>> On the next "All My Children" --
Edmund: Actually, I called Zach to kick this to the next level.
Jamie: Is something wrong, Officer?
Officer: You know what's wrong, son.
Tad: Bianca, I don't -- I don't know what to say. At least it's over.
Bianca: What's over?
Erica: Bess is really Miranda?
