All My Children Transcript Tuesday 9/14/04
Proofread by Gisele
Anita: Hey, woman, you are off duty. Get out of here.
Maria: No -- and give up this glam life of an MD? Why would I do that?
Anita: Must be some nasty paperwork for you to have your stress face on.
Maria: No, it's just, you know, the typical weirdness. It's nothing new.
Anita: Well, I know how to fix it. Pack your bags, kiss your kids, grab your husband, and get out of town. Get out of here. Just go somewhere.
Maria: Why? I'm -- I'm fine, really. I mean, I don't need to run away.
Anita: No, not run, fly -- or sail or ride. Just, you know, clear your head. Get a new perspective.
Maria: Ok. But, why? What do I need to get a new perspective on?
Anita: I don't know. Maybe Zach Slater.
David: This has gone on way too long. It's time to finally say out loud what needs to be said.
Krystal: You can't do this now. Not without Babe.
J.R.: You should have gotten rid of me while you had the chance. I'm taking my baby back.
Paul: Well, the baby -- It's not really Kevin's.
Babe's voice: Well, then, whose is he? Lord, just give me the strength to do what's right.
Krystal: You want to go through me, you give it your best shot. When I'm done with you, they're going to have to call a Hazmat crew to mop you up!
David: J.R. can't take you on directly, Krystal. He has to turn it into a sick game when he's trying to beat a woman.
J.R.: Well, it's been a blast, but Bess and I will be going now.
Tad: Not a chance.
J.R.: Not again.
Tad: No, you mean, never again. When you were willing to lock up Bess in a place that gave your mother nightmares for years, you lost the right to go anywhere near her.
J.R.: I'm her father. I haven't lost a thing.
Jamie: Just a wife, father, a brother, a best friend.
J.R.: Like I said --
Bianca: You can't just take her and leave.
J.R.: Really? This coming from the baby snatcher?
David: I'm supposed to listen to this? Go ahead, laugh it up, jerk, but this could be the last time you're in a room with Bess ever again.
J.R.: Will you chill on those threats? I'll have you strung up in that straitjacket just like you stuck me in there, only there won't be a way out.
Jamie: Whoa -- at Oak Haven, you had him laced up?
David: Yeah, that's right. The man was a danger to himself and others. It was a precaution.
Tad: Too bad it didn't take.
J.R.: But you went the legal route, didn't you, Boy Scout? You had Derek arrest me for drugging Babe. Real cute.
Tad: I never wanted you in jail.
J.R.: Well, here I am. It sure is good to have some friends. It's too bad that Babe has all of you guys.
Jamie: Yeah, you have no idea who you're messing with.
J.R.: That's my line. And whatever you did to my father, I will make sure that you regret it.
David: Oh, yeah? What are you going to do? Hurt someone I love? You already went after my daughter, slick. As far as I'm concerned, you're fair game.
J.R.: Huh. Doesn't it ever make you wonder that you could have saved all that trouble by keeping track of all the girls that you nailed at med school? If I would have known Babe was a Hayward, you couldn't have paid me money to touch her.
Jamie: Shut your mouth --
Tad: No --
Jamie: You obnoxious --
Tad: Don't. All right, that's enough. If all you're going to do is stand there and spew your father's patented brand of garbage, you can leave.
J.R.: Oh, why so bitter, Tad? I thought this is what you love. Tad's son, good, Adam's son, bad.
Tad: You have no idea the number of nights I've lost sleep wondering when exactly you turned into this smarmy, smirking Adam clone. Where I went wrong. What I could have done differently if I could fix it. Now, you barge in here demanding Bess like she's some suit you had tailor made? Forget it, J.R. you're not about to do to Bess what your father did to you.
Jamie: You know what, you're done, J.R. Just beat it.
J.R.: Hmm. Babe must have been some sort of good time for you to turn against me like this.
Jamie: Get out!
J.R.: No. You can't stop me from seeing my baby.
Bianca: I can, and I will. You will take this baby over my dead body.
Maria: Edmund tell you about me and Zach?
Anita: Not Edmund. Aidan.
Maria: Aidan? You're -- nice. That's really nice. Thanks, Aidan, for getting all up into my personal stuff. Thanks.
Anita: Hey, it wasn't like that, Maria. I don't -- I don't judge you -- not now, not ever. I just -- I wondered why you wouldn't tell me.
Maria: Because when that part of my life was over, I just walked away from it. I didn't look back.
Anita: Well, then, Zach shows up here. If you had let it go, why didn't you say anything?
Maria: Because I'd just finally gotten my life back together, and I didn't want anything to get in the way of that.
Anita: So you never thought about Zach?
Maria: No -- Anita, I've got two kids and a job and a husband who's been through hell all this year. I just -- I don't have time for that. Yeah. Ok, I -- I -- yeah, I -- I -- the occasional memory -- yes.
Anita: Well, that memory's back in the flesh.
Maria: Yeah, but it's -- it's over.
Anita: Is it?
Maria: Yes, I'm with Edmund, and you know -- I mean, I built my world around that man. You know that.
Anita: But you loved Zach.
Maria: Yeah. Yeah, I did. With my whole heart.
Boy's voice: In case you missed it, that was me smoking your butt, Alex.
Young Zach's voice: You ran ok.
Boy's voice: You ate my dust!
Young Zach's voice: Michael, somebody had to stop to check out the cheerleaders.
Young Michael's voice: You're saying you let me win? Someday, I'll beat you so bad, you'll have to say it out loud.
Young Zach's voice: I'm quaking.
Young Michael's voice: You should be. You lost that race and your gold coin. A deal's a deal. Hand it over. Sweet. Next time someone's after you, run, slacker.
Young Zach's voice: Come here, and I'll show you a slacker.
Young Michael's voice: Whew.
Zach: It should have been me. I should have been charged with murder.
Young Zach's voice: Father won't stop till he's sucked my life dry.
Young Michael's voice: So don't let him.
Young Zach's voice: He wants me to be him. I swear to God, I can't breathe. I have to get out of here.
Young Michael's voice: And go where?
Young Zach's voice: Wherever he can't find me.
Young Michael's voice: And leave the jet, the ski lodge, the Cambias checkbook? It's all yours.
Young Zach's voice: I don't want it. Take it.
Young Michael's voice: That's not how it works. You're Alexander Cambias, Jr. till the day you die.
Young Zach's voice: I wish I were dead.
Young Michael's voice: Don't say that.
Young Zach's voice: Dead is the only answer.
Young Michael's voice: What are you saying?
Young Zach's voice: I need your help, Michael.
Young Michael's voice: You'd leave us? Leave me?
Young Zach's voice: I need someone I can count on. My brother, you. Do you love me?
Young Michael's voice: Don't do this to me, man.
Young Zach's voice: Do you?
Young Michael's voice: You know I do. I'd do anything for you.
Young Zach's voice: Can you do this? Put me out of my misery?
Michael: How cool was that crash? Alex, Jr., Rest in pieces.
Krystal: There you are. Pink cheeks, glassy-eyed. You ok now?
Babe: I'm -- I'm back. And I know what I have to do.
J.R.: Unless you found a judge that doesn't play golf with my father, you're exactly where you started.
Jamie: Oh, is that who you are now? A guy who brags about the judges in his pocket?
David: We don't have time for this. Babe has something to say. Something that's going to shut you up for good. It's all right, Babe. Go ahead. Say what you have to say.
Babe: I know that -- that it was weird when I bolted earlier. But my life is on the line, and -- and so is Bess'. You see, I was -- I was just looking for some answers, but it turns out that I was asking all the wrong questions all along. So now I know better. At least, I think I do.
Bianca: Babe, trust your instincts. I know I do.
J.R.: And the love fest continues. You know, I don't have to fake listening to this anymore. Give me my daughter and get out of my way.
Babe: J.R., you were the one that taught me how crazy life could be. A walk down a San Diego pier turned into a walk down a Pine Valley aisle.
J.R.: Yeah, and straight into my trap.
Babe: We had no idea where we'd end up -- what we'd get and what we'd lose.
Krystal: Are you sure about this?
Babe: I don't have a choice, Mama.
David: We're here, Babe. You know that.
Babe: And I'm going to need you both.
Jamie: And we're all here for you, Babe.
Bianca: And we always will be.
Babe: Oh. You have no idea how much I want that to be true.
Tad: It's a promise.
J.R.: Oh, humor her drama a little bit more. I'm going to go ahead and take Bess. And you can stay here, Babe, and wallow in this drivel.
Babe: J.R., you can't go anywhere. And neither can Bess. I love my baby with everything that's in me. And I will do whatever it takes to prove that, even -- even if it means that I have to do something that's really hard or -- or pretty much near impossible. For the sake of my baby, I know exactly what I have to do. I've decided that -- that I need to stay with J.R. There's going to be no divorce and no separation. I'm going to do whatever it takes to make our marriage work.
Maria: I mean, you know, it couldn't last because my memory would eventually have come back, and -- and Edmund and the kids are my entire world.
Anita: But before you remembered --
Maria: Zach was my world.
Anita: Must have been so hard not to have anyone to share that with.
Maria: Yeah, it was confusing. But that's -- it's over.
Anita: You know, Zach seems like two different people sometimes. The big, cool businessman --
Maria: See, I don't know that Zach. I -- my Zach is a completely different animal.
Anita: I think I met your Zach. We -- we played blackjack for candy. Yeah, he was -- he was funny and -- and smart and --
Anita: Laid back. He told me to stay in the game and just, you know, deal with what comes next. He really -- he helped me.
Maria: Yeah, that's -- that's him, that's the one.
Anita: But there's more to him, Maria. Aidan thinks that he might have rigged the shooting to set up Ryan.
Maria: I know, but Aidan thinks that because he doesn't want Kendall to take the fall.
Anita: Ok, so Zach has nothing to do with it, even though he set the whole thing up?
Maria: No, I -- are you going to take Aidan's opinion over mine now?
Anita: Maria, you know me. I'm -- I'm hypercautious. But if Zach is as dangerous as Aidan says he is --
Maria: Yeah, but Zach doesn't -- Aidan doesn't know Zach, and you barely know Aidan.
Anita: Ok, I don't know him as well as you do, but how well do you know Zach these days?
Maria: You just stand there and eavesdrop?
Aidan: I just got here a bit. I suppose I can leave, if you like.
Maria: No, no, please stay. Climb all up into my private life, please. Why don't you just tell anybody about me and Zach? Anybody in the street?
Anita: Maria, I am not anybody.
Aidan: You know, the people that care about you are worried. And you seem to be messing around with a person that could be the reason why Ryan is in this hospital.
Maria: No, Zach is not the reason that Ryan is here.
Aidan: There's a reason to be concerned here, Maria, and you just don't want to see it, do you?
Maria: Yeah, but I don't think you're concerned, I think you're jealous, because I had feelings for someone that isn't you.
Anita: Maria, stop it.
Michael: We were certainly bad-ass back then, weren't we?
Michael: A thousand ideas, a million ways to change the world.
Zach: Our world, anyway.
Michael: Hmm. We certainly stepped up to the challenge. Big man himself, Alexander Cambias, ruler of the universe, conned by two kids. Yeah, that old man -- I would have done anything for you.
Zach: I should have taken you with me.
Michael: Well, whatever. You know, somebody had to stay behind and take care of the details. Cry over the crash, make it seem real.
Zach: I should have taken you with me.
Michael: Yeah, well, I survived. You know, for a little while anyway, right?
Zach: He put you through hell, didn't he?
Michael: True enough. True enough, but -- well, you were still the golden child, even after you were dead. How does that work, anyway? A really good dead kid trumps a mediocre live one. Father could never forgive me for being the one who kept breathing.
Zach: Never gave you a break.
Michael: Oh -- he gave me a break, all right.
Zach: Don't joke about it.
Michael: Ah, what, do you want me to cry?
Zach: Did you -- did you try to break somebody, too?
Michael: What does that mean?
Zach: Did you try to hurt someone to take your pain away?
Michael: Well, you bought the press. I mean, of all people, you should know things aren't how they seem.
Zach: I need to know.
Michael: Come on, Alex. You've met Bianca. She's a good kid. Why would I hurt somebody like that?
Zach: I grew up under Alexander Cambias. Made me change my name. I don't know, maybe it made you change who you were.
Michael: Alex, she wanted to have my baby. She still cries over Miranda. Who could love their baby and hate the father that much?
Zach: Somebody like Bianca.
Michael: Why -- how could you possibly doubt me? Did I ever once question or doubt you?
Michael: My baby died in that helicopter crash, too. Your niece. Oh, I would have -- I would have loved her, Alex. I would have protected her from all that Cambias garbage, just like I protected you.
Zach: You saved me.
Michael: And now you want to forget it? I was always there for you, man. You going to turn your back on me now?
J.R.: You -- you've got to be kidding me. You're even dumber than I thought. I told you that I hate you. I mean, our marriage, Babe, couldn't be more over if it had blown up in my car.
Babe: J.R., I know that you love Bess, and -- and once upon a time, you loved me, too. I owe this to my baby to try to make this work.
David: Babe -- Babe, what are you doing? J.R. drugged you. He -- he hijacked your baby. He painted you out to be an unfit mother. I mean, the jerk has one thing right -- this marriage doesn't exist except for on paper.
Krystal: Babe, you're scrambling here. You had a close call, almost losing Bess. And I know you think that it might happen again, but this is not the solution, honey. You're swimming upstream.
Babe: I know that this isn't going to be easy, Mama. But it's the best way for now.
Bianca: Babe, you know I have complete faith in you. You only want what's best for Bess. And I know -- I know what a divorce can do to a kid. But a toxic marriage can be just as bad, or worse.
Babe: I promise you, I'll never let my child hurt like that, Bianca.
Jamie: That's it. Come on.
Babe: Jamie --
Jamie: No, we're not doing this here.
Babe: Don't do this!
J.R.: Well, looks like the party's over. I'm going to be leaving, so give me my daughter.
Tad: The only way that baby is leaving is in her mother's arms.
Jamie: But I don't know where to start with how messed up that was.
Babe: Jamie, you have to trust me on this one.
Jamie: No, you have to trust me. I listened to that noise, and now I want the truth.
Jamie: You have to know going back to J.R. makes no sense.
Babe: It's just what I have to do, ok, just for now.
Jamie: Walk into the Chandler mansion and play J.R.'s wife?
Babe: It's not playing. I am his wife, and we do have a child.
Jamie: There is no way that you still love him.
Babe: We have a bond -- a baby.
Jamie: What, are you afraid? Are you giving in? Is it because you think we can't look after you? There's something else going on. Tell me.
Babe: Jamie, just stop, ok? You can't change my mind on this.
Jamie: Babe, just look at me. What is it you can't tell me? I mean, don't you know I would never turn my back on you? Just tell me what it is, and we will -- I mean, I'll do my best to fix it. You have to know that, don't you?
Babe: You can't fix this, Jamie.
Jamie: Well, not if you don't tell me what it is. Trust me, and I swear we will fix it together.
Babe: I look at you, standing there all strong and honest. Makes me feel like I could tell you anything.
Jamie: You can. Just do it.
Babe: You've been so good to me, so loyal, and I haven't even deserved a bit of it. And now I just have to let you down.
Jamie: You're not letting me down. It's not possible.
Babe: I'm staying with J.R. See? I let you down. I guess it was better now than later. Bess has had a long day. I'm -- I'm going to go get her home.
J.R.: Well, I hear Oak Haven calling. I mean, what kind of insane woman, really, pulls a stunt like this?
David: The kind of woman who puts her kid's happiness before their own.
Babe: I'm ready to go home, J.R.
J.R.: What, you're actually going to go through with it?
Babe: Bianca, just please try to understand this. I know that it doesn't make any sense right now, but I promise you there's going to be a happy ending -- for all of us.
Krystal: You do what you got to do, Babe.
Babe: Let's go home, J.R.
Anita: Aidan didn't drag me into anything. I sensed something was off, and I asked him about it.
Maria: Well, nice of you to fill in all the gory details.
Anita: Because I made him. Look, he's just worried about you and doesn't trust Zach. You said that you know him better than I do. Well, I know him enough to trust his instincts. Do you?
Maria: Oh, God. Aidan, I --
Aidan: It's all right. Don't worry about it.
Maria: No, it's not all right. You know what, it's not. I'm sorry. I am. I'm really sorry, and I don't know what's wrong.
Aidan: I understand. You just watched one of our friends almost bleed to death for no reason. You know, that would get to anyone.
Maria: No, don't --
Aidan: Certainly gets to me.
Maria: Don't cut me any slack because -- be mad at me, I deserve it, and I don't know what the hell I'm doing anymore, truly.
Aidan: If you deserve it, I'll let you know.
Maria: You've been nothing but good to us, really, to me, to Edmund, to Anita. And I'm in a -- I'm sorry. I really am. I'm just sorry for all this. I'm going to leave now, ok?
Anita: She doesn't mean it. You really have been good to them. To us.
Aidan: Yeah. And Maria and Edmund are family now.
Anita: Didn't start out that way.
Aidan: I know. Well, I had a lot of love for that woman. I loved her very much. But we were always on borrowed time. Just when you saw her with Edmund, you know, you just -- when she was Maria again, you'd -- you knew that they were meant to be together.
Anita: Do you think that Zach sees it?
Aidan: He's a powerful type, used to getting his own way.
Anita: You worried about Maria?
Aidan: I just don't know what Zach wants with Maria or with anyone, and I know he can't be trusted, either. I just wish Maria would see it, too.
Anita: Well, she is wrong about one thing. Maria's not finished with Zach.
Michael: You know life as a Cambias scion. It was always power, women, money, and more women. Besides, Alex, I was a kid when you knew me. I grew up.
Zach: What kind of a man did you grow up to be?
Michael: Well, certainly not the demon they claim I was, I can promise you that. I don't know what went wrong with Bianca, but she wanted that baby and so did I.
Michael: Oh, yeah. What a gorgeous name, you know? Whew! Oh, she would have been so beautiful. I would have been a good dad. Not like father. Not cold and judgmental, tragically disappointed. I would have protected her from all that. Who knows? Well, maybe -- maybe we would have found you, and we could have been one big, happy family, but no. Never did get the chance, did we? Me or Miranda.
Zach: You do know what Bianca says.
Michael: This town made her. They tried and convicted me and sentenced me to death. That's the way this town works. Oh, forget truth or evidence, just go for the kill. Look how they're going after Ethan right now.
Zach: Haven't called him a rapist.
Michael: I was -- I was the enemy, Alex. I stole their companies, dated their women. I was the outsider that they had to get even with, so behold the rapist. No evidence, no case. Do you know that it never even made it to trial, and that drove them crazy. You know, they found a way to destroy me, and they went for it. Left me rotting on top of a garbage heap, just like trash, Alex. Like trash without a soul.
Zach: I know. I know that.
Michael: You know, sometimes I wonder maybe if you would have -- if you would have been --
Zach: I know that, too.
Michael: Maybe they might not have gotten away with it. But even Maria now believes them over you.
Zach: She lives with these people. She listens to them.
Michael: I know. But you know me. You know me, man.
J.R.: What are you doing?
Babe: I'm putting the baby down for the night.
J.R.: No, no, what are you up to? You and me staying married?
Babe: There. You know, I should probably stay here with Bess tonight, just in case.
J.R.: Uh-uh. Not a chance.
Babe: Well, if -- if you don't want me sleeping here, that must mean that you want me -- don't you think it's probably a little too soon for us to be sleeping in the same bed together?
J.R.: Don't make me sick.
Babe: Look, J.R., it's going to take us a while to get back to where we were, but I think if -- if we both work hard enough and we're committed, we can get back to that place for the sake of the baby.
J.R.: This is a game. This is a game to get me sent to Oak Haven, isn't it?
Babe: No. No, it's no game. We made a baby out of love, and -- and that takes priority now.
J.R.: Babe, it wasn't love. It was blonde hair and a nice rack. Sue me. I'm human. You don't love me. You don't want this marriage. So that leaves only one thing that you're after. How much money do you want?
Tad: You running to the rescue or are you making a break for it? I mean, what could David possibly say to you to make you back away from me like that? Is it about Babe or us or something I don't know?
Krystal: I -- I'm sorry, Tad.
Tad: I don't want you sorry. I want you here. Just tell me what's going on.
Krystal: Just let me go, ok?
David: This is a time when parents need to pull together.
Tad: The next sound you hear will be my head exploding.
Jamie: Or the whole world as we know it.
Bianca: I can't believe it. She went back to him. Bess is back in that house, and J.R. can just --
Tad: No, no. Krystal and -- God help us -- David won't let him. Babe drop any hints outside?
Jamie: Yeah, she wants to make her marriage work. At least that's what she wants me to buy.
Bianca: Well, Babe has said that she wants Bess to have a father.
Jamie: J.R.'s a jailer, not a father.
Tad: Krystal's always felt that she had a forgiving heart. Maybe she is determined to make it work.
Jamie: She's loving, but not brain dead. There's no way she wants him.
Bianca: She probably told Krystal and David about this, and that's why they want to make sure I wasn't going to turn on him.
Tad: I don't think so. I was looking at Krystal's face. She was sideswiped. She didn't have any warning.
Jamie: Something happened to Babe while she was gone. I could see it the second she walked through that door.
Tad: Yeah, but what?
Jamie: Something big enough to turn her whole world upside down.
Babe: Look, J.R., we lost what we meant to each other along the way, but what I feel for you is huge, and it's never going to go away. But in all of this, somewhere, is a child, and it's a child that I love with all my heart, and I'll do anything for her. So, here I am, and I will still be here whenever you're ready.
J.R.: You did it. You did the impossible. You figured out a way to make me crazy. Well, you know what, you count the seconds, Babe, because there's no way you're staying in this house.
Babe: I've never seen a baby boy more beautiful than Ace.
J.R.: Yeah, it's J.R. Chandler. I need help finding someone. My father. And check with David Hayward. I think he's responsible for all of this.
Liza: So you did misplace her father.
J.R.: Oh, Liza, go gloat in your own house!
Liza: I'm just being solicitous, J.R. I was actually a little worried when I didn't hear from Adam. He lives for his visits with Colby.
J.R.: Yeah, well, if you're so worried about Colby, help me find your father!
Liza: You know, in this light, with that tone, you have the same overbearing, self-centered air as Adam has. It's actually quite moving.
J.R.: My father's missing.
Liza: Oh, the man who used my daughter to blackmail me so I would help you boot your wife. I'm dying to help him.
J.R.: You teamed up with Hayward to get payback, didn't you?
Liza: Honestly -- you know, I overheard a phone call. If Adam went AWOL, I have a right to know because of my daughter. If he doesn't want to phone his own daughter --
J.R.: You and Hayward are working together. Now, you listen to me, and you listen to me good, Liza. You tell me where my father is this minute, or I swear I will make good on Adam's threats! You will never see Colby ever again!
Babe: The baby's in dreamland.
Krystal: Mama's in Creepville. Honey, what are you doing here? We just got Bess out of --
David: Please tell me that you haven't gone crazy and fallen back in love with that jerk.
Babe: No -- Mama --
Krystal: Do you know what you're doing?
Babe: I do. I do, and I'm -- and I'm just buying time!
David: For what? I mean, the closer you get to J.R., the faster he can destroy you.
Babe: I know, I know. It -- it's just -- it's the only thing I could think of on the way home.
Krystal: The way home from where?
Babe: From where, Mama? From my beautiful baby boy.
Zach: I never should have left you. First father and then this entire town.
[Knock on door]
Anita: When Maria has faith in something, she just holds on to that.
Aidan: Yeah. That's one of her strengths, usually.
Anita: But this -- I don't know.
Aidan: No, I think she has faith. I do. And I have instincts. I just really hope that I'm wrong about this one. For her sake.
Anita: You're not going to let up on Zach, are you?
Aidan: Are you joking? Zach -- he puts on his party, Ryan leaves in a stretcher. I want to know why.
Anita: Hey -- be careful.
Liza: I'm not the one who rips people out of my daughter's life, J.R. That's a Chandler thing. I was only married to it.
J.R.: I don't know where he is.
Liza: Look, why don't you just take this moment of peace and try to become human again -- if not for your sake, for Bess'.
J.R.: For my baby's sake? What's that supposed to mean? Do you know my wife is upstairs right now. She wants to make the marriage work.
Liza: Hmm. Convert to the cult of Chandler?
J.R.: Yeah. But I don't -- I don't buy it.
Liza: Well, maybe Krystal is having her do it for the money.
J.R.: No, Krystal's freaked out, but she's not as freaked out as I am.
Liza: Well, she's got you scrambling. It means it's working.
J.R.: Yeah. But what is she after?
Liza: Probably her daughter. You know the old saying -- if you can't beat them, stay married to them.
Bianca: You know what, Jamie is right. When Babe came back here, she did seem different. She had this sort of peacefulness that I haven't seen in a while.
Jamie: Or she gave up.
Tad: So who got to her?
Jamie: I don't know, there's something else there. I'm going to go hunting.
Krystal: You said you went to that broken-down chapel to pray to your son. Is that what brought this on? Do you think he wants you to stay with J.R.?
Babe: No! I don't even need the chapel to talk to my baby. I saw him. He's alive. He's real. I held him. And I fed him a bottle! I held him in my arms, and he was as beautiful as the day he was born. My baby didn't die in that crash. My baby boy, he's alive.
>> On the next "All My Children" --
Maria: You got to help me get Edmund to stop this vendetta against Zach.
Ethan: You offered to help me once. You may be the only person who can help me prove that I'm a Cambias.
Babe: How are we going to get my baby back from the Buchanans? You guys really think that I'm crazy, don't you?
