All My Children Transcript Tuesday 8/31/04
Proofread by Gisele
Zach: Come on in. Do I want to know what happened? Something did happen, didn't it.
Maria: I just came to tell you, Zach, that after tonight -- this dinner with everybody -- I can never see you again.
Edmund: You call this low profile?
Aidan: Well, come on, I blend in.
Aidan: Basic high roller looks through waiters. We're invisibles.
Edmund: Yeah. No straw?
Aidan: What do you mean, straw? We're too high class for straws -- and bugs and hidden weaponry. This whole place is clean.
Edmund: Good, good. So the question is, what does Slater have planned?
Aidan: If it's anything, maybe it isn't tonight.
Edmund: I don't know. Look at the audience he's gathered. Quite impressive. My money's on Zach pulling a rabbit out of his hat, probably right after he's fattened us up with dinner.
Aidan: Ah. But is it a lethal rabbit?
Edmund: What's your gut tell you?
Aidan: Be ready for anything.
Edmund: So, I guess the question is, which one of us lucky guests is his target?
Kendall: Goody, you're still here.
Ethan: This is a good thing because --
Kendall: Well, the party is far from over. In fact, the fun's going to hit the fan.
Ethan: Interesting choice of words. Our host promised an unforgettable end to the evening.
Kendall: Oh, yes, there are definitely going to be fireworks. Rumor has it Ryan is finally going to get what's coming to him.
Greenlee: You love me?
Greenlee: You mean that?
Greenlee: For real?
Greenlee: Oh, my God.
Ryan: I know, it -- it blew me away at first, too. But, Greenlee, we're way past friendship and business partners and pure lust. And I'm into this for better, for worse, to love and to cherish, till death do us part. I want this marriage to be real. You're not there with me. Like -- like yet, or ever? It's ok, Greenlee. I can deal with whatever it is that you want. I know we signed a contract, and I've gone way over the line way too fast. If this is way off for you or you can't deal with this or you want to go a different direction -- just, you know, call the whole thing off, just -- just say something. Please? Anything.
Ryan: If you're ever going to say something, now would be the time.
Greenlee: How long? How long have you known that you love me?
Ryan: Well, I know -- you know, I know I've been falling for a while.
Greenlee: You didn't say a word?
Ryan: I wouldn't let myself, not until I was absolutely dead sure.
Greenlee: That --
Ryan: That I could love you as much as Leo did. You remember that day in the park when you said that you were waiting for someone to give you that kind of love, the whole heart kind? Well, now I can. My whole heart is yours.
Greenlee: I think I need dates, times. When were you sure? I mean, did it sneak up on you, or did it just smack you in the head?
Ryan: It was at the circus. I saw this flash of light like a shooting star, high above me, fearless, even laughing.
Greenlee: I had a net.
Ryan: And the catcher reached out and -- and you let go of the trapeze and you held on to her. And it hit me that that's what I want. I want to be able to catch you. I want to be your net. I want to be -- I want to be what puts that incredible smile on your beautiful face.
Greenlee: But you left me. And when we got back from the circus, you just took off.
Ryan: I went to see Jonathan.
Greenlee: Not the act of a man wildly in love.
Ryan: Well, I couldn't push you. I didn't want to. I didn't want to hurt you. I had to be -- I mean, I couldn't be casual about this. I had to be absolutely dead sure that I could risk it all to stand beside you for the rest of our lives. And now I know -- I know that you're right for me. I know that there isn't anything else that I could ever want. But, Greenlee, if I'm not right for you, or you need some time to adjust --
Greenlee: I want you.
Ryan: What did you say?
Greenlee: I want you. Don't you get it, Ryan? I love you, too.
Kendall: Order some champagne! This is a celebration. My impeccable sources have practically guaranteed that Ryan is going down in flames.
Ethan: Practically? Your sources didn't get specific.
Kendall: Oh. Well, why spoil a day so chock full of surprises?
Erica: Can you believe it? How can she just stand there and talk to him?
Kendall: Brace yourself.
Erica: Kendall, how are you?
Kendall: Never better. Jack, this is Ethan Cambias, heir to Cambias Industries. Ethan, this is Jack Montgomery.
Jack: I've heard a great deal about you, Mr. Ramsey.
Ethan: Bad news travels fast.
Erica: Will you two gentlemen excuse us for a moment?
Jack: Glad to. Whether or not you're a Cambias, don't make the mistake of emulating your alleged Uncle Michael.
Erica: You're not the first person to offer me that piece of advice.
Jack: That's not advice, it's a warning. You do anything to make life difficult for Erica or Bianca or Kendall --
Ethan: And I'll have to answer to you?
Jack: I'll merely be the first one in a long line of their friends just aching to pay you back.
Ethan: I hardly know Bianca. She seems like a lovely girl.
Jack: She is.
Ethan: I sympathize with what she's been through. Kendall --
Jack: Kendall is not as tough as she would like people to believe. She's just been through a really rough breakup.
Ethan: She makes no attempt to hide that.
Jack: You just make sure you don't take that to your advantage.
Ethan: If Kendall smashes up, I suggest you duke it out with Ryan Lavery, not me.
Kendall: Mother, will you just please stop worrying? Ok, Ryan and Greenlee can take care of themselves.
Erica: Is he in on it with you, this Ethan Cambias person?
Kendall: Mother, there is nothing to be in on, all right? I'm not as horrible and calculating as you think I am.
Erica: Kendall, we've already been through all this. I don't want to see you hurt, that's all.
Kendall: And Ethan -- look, just because he's related to a criminal doesn't make him one, too. Now, I thought I was proof of that. Heredity isn't everything.
Erica: Look, why don't you spend the evening with Jack and me, ok? I mean, we'd just love to --
Kendall: To lock me up in the closet and make sure I don't stir up trouble?
Erica: Sweetheart, you cannot make Ryan love you.
Kendall: Ryan does love me. He just doesn't want to admit it yet. And of course, Greenlee's playing him, so --
Erica: Ok, well, let's just say he does love you. That's still not going to be the answer to all your problems.
Kendall: Why is it that someone who has enough to worry about in their own life has to run other people's lives? I don't --
Erica: Do you remember when you thought that if Bianca and I loved you, that your life would be complete? Well, it happened, didn't it? We do love you. But it wasn't the answer to everything. Look, I just -- I want to help you in any way I can. And when you're ready to accept that, know that I love you and that I'm here for you.
Kendall: I really, really appreciate that, Mother. I really do. Listen, don't worry about me. I want you to just have fun. Have fun and relax, ok, because you are not going to believe what an amazing space I'm in. I'm telling you, great things are going to happen.
Jack: So, you make any headway?
Erica: Oh, Jack, just can you get me out of here? Just get me out of this bar. I just have to --
Jack: Let's go.
Kendall: What, did you get grilled, too?
Ethan: No worse than by the rest of the party crowd.
Kendall: Oh, well, I guess it's the lawyer in him. Sorry you had to be subjected to all of that.
Ethan: It's ok. Doesn't hurt to know your enemy.
Kendall: Oh, he just worries way too much about my mother.
Ethan: And your sister and you.
Kendall: All right, where the hell is our champagne? Where's our champagne? What, are they stomping the grapes back there? My God!
Ethan: I think you've -- I think you've had about enough alcohol for one evening.
Kendall: I don't think you know what I need.
Ethan: You know, my neighbor was just here a second ago.
Kendall: Oh, no, no, no. Trust me, you are the only Pine Cone resident within 50 miles.
Ethan: Oh, yeah, nice guy. In fact, you'd like him.
Kendall: He wouldn't happen to be a fellow Brit, would he?
Ethan: Yeah. Aidan -- Devane, Devane. He's my only friend in Pine Valley.
Kendall: No, no, no, Aidan is not your friend. You have been royally snowed, Ethan.
Aidan: It looks like it's an undercover reunion for all the people that wanted Michael Cambias exterminated.
Edmund: If Agatha Christie were a party planner.
Aidan: Look, to top it all off, Edmund, today is the anniversary of Michael Cambias' death.
Edmund: Put it all together, you know something's going to blow tonight.
Aidan: Slater has let everybody know that he has something lined up for after dinner.
Edmund: Yeah, I bet he does. He's calling it entertainment.
Aidan: I'm going to be watching him.
Edmund: Good. That's all we can do. I'll met Maria know.
Aidan: How's she going to take it if Slater goes off the tracks?
Edmund: Don't worry about her, all right? I trust her completely. Everything between her and Zach is over.
Maria: It was over and it should have stayed over, and I let my emotions run away with me and I shouldn't -- it confused me, and I -- so if I led you on in any way, I'm sorry. Well, I didn't -- you know what, I know I did send you mixed messages. I did that, and I'm really sorry, because it was stupid and it hurt both of us. So -- that's it.
Zach: Not really about us, is it? It's about Edmund.
Maria: No, this is about all three of us.
Maria: Yeah. I'm committed to my marriage, I'm committed to my children, and to my life with Edmund. And I just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry.
Zach: Ok. Thanks for clearing that up.
Zach: Ahem. Is there something else? Because I am kind of busy. No? Good. Then I will see you tonight at dinner. And after that, never again.
Maria: I didn't just give you the weather report.
Zach: I know what you just gave me. What do you expect me to do with it?
Maria: Well, how can you just be so --
Zach: What, do you expect me to bless your reunion with Edmund?
Maria: No, I expect --
Zach: It's not going to happen.
Maria: Look, I don't expect you to be happy for me. I'm not asking for you to be happy.
Zach: You're not asking me anything. You're telling me. You're telling me how things are going to be for you and how things are going to be for me.
Maria: Look, I just -- I just wanted you to -- to respect my decision, ok? And I want you to stop loving me.
Zach: I've always respected you. And if that's what you want, I'll stop seeing you. Stop loving you? That's beyond my control.
Kendall: Aidan is a spy. He is in Special Ops. So you, my friend, have been duped by a professional.
Ethan: You're paranoid.
Kendall: Uh, no. No, no, no, see, on the level, Aidan was in Intelligence in the Armed Forces.
Ethan: So he was in the service.
Kendall: Yeah, he still is. Only this time he has a different boss.
Ethan: Ryan Lavery.
Kendall: Mm-hmm. Aidan is a private investigator, and him and Ryan are real chummy. So, you fell for it. Of course, Ryan's the one who sicced him on you.
Ethan: You can't be sure of it.
Kendall: No, no, I warned you. I told you Ryan would smile that smile, he would say that he's fair, and he was the rightful heir to Cambias Industries. You could fertilize every bit of Hyde Park with what Ryan would say, I'm telling you. But when he wants something, he will go after anything and everyone to get what he's after.
Ethan: That's not what your sister said.
Kendall: Yeah, well, Bianca's a little too trusting when she shouldn't be. That's her biggest fault. Oh, there was a time when you could trust Ryan, of course, but that was before Greenlee sank her fangs into him and sucked the life out of him. She turned Ryan into a male version of herself, but he let her do it.
Ethan: What's the solution, huh? Shoot them with silver bullets? You drive stakes into their hearts?
Kendall: They don't have hearts. But they can be stopped, and they will be. Whatever it takes.
Greenlee: I do love you, Ryan. The whole heart kind. Since before we got married.
Ryan: Since before?
Greenlee: Marrying you was more than a business deal for me. I mean, I knew that you weren't in the same place that I was, but I was hoping -- God, I was hoping.
Ryan: Talk about risking it all.
Greenlee: It was worth it. You were worth it. I had to take the chance.
Ryan: And what if it didn't happen?
Greenlee: Ever since Leo died, I've been frightened. I've pulled back from every relationship before it got off the ground, but with you, I wasn't afraid anymore. I just had to go for it. And if it didn't work out, well, at least I tried. At least I wasn't sitting on the sidelines of my life anymore. I still had my best friend in the whole world.
Ryan: And you wonder why I love you? That's why.
Greenlee: I couldn't believe that you didn't see it! I thought it was, like, all over me like a neon sign. Remember that day that we had that picnic, and I told you about the guy that I was waiting for, the guy that I wanted to love? I was talking about you, how I felt about you.
Ryan: You didn't say anything.
Greenlee: You had to come to it on your own.
Ryan: Well, I'm there now. Man, am I there now, and it feels --
Greenlee: Like flying?
Jack: You want to talk about it, honey?
Erica: I just had to get out of there. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't think.
Jack: What about now?
Erica: Better, thanks to you.
Jack: Good. So, what exactly did Kendall say to you, anyway?
Erica: Oh, it wasn't just Kendall. Well, I mean, I am worried about her. I am upset for her. But, no, it was just being in that bar when all the feelings hit. I just wanted to get rid of the worry and the stress, and I just wanted to soften it, you know. I just -- I wanted to forget it.
Jack: You wanted a drink.
Erica: As many as it would take to get me to float above that tension.
Jack: But, honey, you didn't take one.
Erica: You know, one day at a time. One minute at a time. I know I'm going to be in recovery for the rest of my life. I know that. Just -- it doesn't make it any easier.
Jack: Is there any way that I can help?
Erica: Oh, you already have. Now I'm feeling something I want to feel.
Jack: What's that?
Erica: Love for you.
Jack: Well, in that case, I'm going to double my bet on us. In fact, I'm going to triple it.
Erica: It's still a risk.
Jack: It's a risk I'm more than willing to take.
Erica: I'm not easy, you know.
Jack: Really? Sixteen years, sweetheart -- 16 years. I love you. I know you. I love every bit of you.
Jack: Always. You're my heart.
Erica: You're mine. You going to kiss me?
Jack: The thought did cross my mind, yes.
Jack: Ok. Whoa. Um -- what do you say we go outside and look at those stars, huh?
Erica: I'd rather stay here and make love.
Jack: Sweetheart, I don't want to push you.
Erica: You don't push me. I push you.
Jack: Well, I don't want to be any trouble.
Maria: I am sorry if I've hurt you in any way. I just -- I didn't mean --
Zach: You know what I think? I think you have no idea how I feel.
Maria: Well, then tell me.
Zach: Why? So you understand me, so you can feel sad for me?
Maria: No, no. No, that's not it.
Zach: So you can stop loving me? I got a long night ahead.
Maria: This doesn't feel right.
Maria: No, you know what I want. I don't want to leave it like this.
Zach: If you want me to stay away from you, you should leave now.
Maria: Ok, then you need to answer me one question. Are you still going through with it?
Zach: "It," what?
Maria: It. This wrong that you said you came here to right. Are you still going through with that?
Zach: You think that your dumping me has pushed me over the edge, that I'm so filled with anger now that I have to go after Edmund or Ryan, all the people they're trying to protect?
Maria: I don't know, will you?
Kendall: To getting what's coming to us, by whatever means necessary. Hmm.
Ethan: You really loved Ryan, didn't you?
Kendall: Ryan loved me. He worshiped me until -- until Greenlee got her hands on him and cut him off from everyone who generally cared about him. But she hasn't won -- uh-uh, uh-uh. No way has she won. Ryan will come back to me and he will love me again, and it will be like Greenlee never existed, ever. Secret weapons do come in nice little packages. Be right back. Lon, did you find out anything?
Lon: Mr. and Mrs. Lavery went in the room an hour ago. The "Do Not Disturb" sign is on the door.
Kendall: All right, just keep watching.
Lon: Will do.
Singer: Think you can cast me aside someone needs
Ethan: Life was easier when we were kids, eh? When we could escape from the gypsies and the pirates, we could make ourselves the winners whatever the odds.
Kendall: Yeah. I'm going to win. I will. I will win. I swear to God -- I swear to God, I will win.
Ethan: Kendall, Kendall, you're bleeding.
Greenlee: Hold that thought.
Greenlee: I owe you my surprise.
Ryan: But you just gave me the biggest surprise of my life!
Greenlee: Ta-da. Our prenup. Call me sentimental, but I always carry it with me.
Ryan: Allow me.
Ryan: Wait, wait, wait, my turn, my turn.
Greenlee: What, more confetti?
Ryan: I have a surprise for you.
Greenlee: What? That can't be what I want it to be.
Ryan: Well, you tell me.
Greenlee: That's it, exactly. It's beautiful.
Ryan: Well, it had to match you.
Greenlee: No, you don't have to.
Ryan: I do. I want to. I want to. This is how it's done when it's real. And this is as real as anything that I've ever had or even felt.
Ryan: I love you, Greenlee. I love you with everything that I've got. Everything that I am is yours. I want to be your friend. I want to be your partner. I want to be your lover. I want to be your husband. I want to be the father of your children. So, will you do me the honor of -- of really becoming my wife?
Greenlee: Yes. Yes, yes, yes. Yes!
Ryan: Give me this. All right. I didn't say stop breathing.
Greenlee: It's perfect.
Ryan: You're perfect for me.
Kendall: It doesn't hurt, it doesn't hurt. Ok. To lessons -- to Greenlee. To Greenlee learning the biggest lessons of them all, that romantic fantasies are just that. They never last, ever. They have to be the real thing. You can't force someone into believing something. She -- she actually believes that she could shove her sad excuse for love in my face, and I'm actually going to run away. She's so -- she's so dumb! She's so stupid. I don't run away. I crash into the walls, and I wait for all of them to come crashing down, and that's what's going to happen to Greenlee and Ryan. They're -- everything is going to come crashing down right on top of them. And you know what? She'll have nothing. Greenlee will have nothing at all, and I will have everything I've ever wanted.
Ryan: What are you -- what are those?
Greenlee: I left my confetti in my other purse.
Ryan: Oh, you are out of your mind. You know what comes next?
Greenlee: You put me down.
Ryan: And --
Greenlee: And then we have a honeymoon?
Ryan: A real honest-to-God honeymoon, if that's ok with you.
Greenlee: I'm ready. You?
Ryan: Oh, yeah, I'm ready.
[Knock on door]
Greenlee: Ryan --
Ryan: They'll go away.
Aidan: Ryan? I know you're in there, mate.
Greenlee: If you just answer it, you can get rid of him. Yeah, you can, you can. Go.
Aidan: Come on, man, it's time.
Ryan: Ok, I'm kind of busy.
Aidan: I'm sorry, but we can't turn back the time. Oh. You're that kind of busy. Listen, stow it and meet me downstairs.
Greenlee: I don't suppose he just left with tin cans to deface our car and put a "Just Consummated" sign on it.
Ryan: No, no, there's something going on.
Greenlee: Involving Zach Slater?
Ryan: Yeah, good guess. We're expecting a little bit of a surprise at the farewell dinner tonight.
Greenlee: Why did I just get a knot in my stomach?
Ryan: Slater has got this secret cabinet full of a gallery of surveillance photos in his office.
Greenlee: Anyone we know?
Ryan: Like everybody that's here at the dinner.
Ryan: Me, not you. We think the connection is Michael Cambias.
Greenlee: How is Zach Slater connected to Michael?
Ryan: Well, we don't know for sure that he is.
Greenlee: That would be a pretty big coincidence.
Ryan: Yeah. We also think that he might be connected to Ethan. You know, maybe he's responsible for Ethan coming to town, trying to get his hands on the Cambias fortune. But I'm working with Aidan and Edmund to get to the bottom of the whole thing. The point is, we're expecting Zach to make a move tonight.
Greenlee: Let's go.
Ryan: Hold it, hold it, hold it! Wait, wait, wait, not so fast. I thought, you know, the whole honeymoon and --
Greenlee: We got 50 and 60 years to honeymoon, starting tonight.
Ryan: All right, you got it.
Greenlee: I do now.
Zach: Nothing moves forward without me. I'll be right there.
Maria: I want you to answer me. Are you going after someone? Yes or no?
Zach: You've cut me out of your life. Now mine is none of your business.
Maria: Yes -- Zach, please.
Zach: No. No more favors, no more information. It's over.
Maria: You know, I -- I didn't want it to be like this.
Zach: Time to get this show on the road.
Man: Hey, man. The guests are moving in. Get to your station.
Aidan: Take care of that lead, Edmund. I've got this covered, ok?
Maria: Oh, hi, honey.
Edmund: Hello, gorgeous.
Maria: Thank you.
Edmund: I hate to waste it.
Maria: Why? Why waste it?
Edmund: We can't stay.
Maria: Ok, if this is about Zach --
Edmund: No, it's not, it's not. I just got a phone call that if I meet this person, it could possibly fill in a lot of blanks for us.
Maria: Right now?
Edmund: I'm afraid so.
Maria: Well, you go on ahead, and I'm going to stay here.
Edmund: I don't like that.
Maria: I know, but I -- I think you're right. I think Zach is definitely up to something, and somebody's got to keep an eye on him.
Edmund: Which is why I think you should be coming with me.
Maria: This is a public place. I mean, there's Jackson, Ryan -- I'm going to be perfectly safe.
Edmund: You can count on Zach to do the expected.
Maria: I know. And he knows that I am committed to you.
Edmund: You made it clear, huh?
Edmund: Did you make it clear to him that you don't trust him?
Maria: Zach knows where I stand. He -- he wouldn't hurt me.
Edmund: No, he wouldn't. Not intentionally.
Maria: Honey, look, I know what I'm doing, ok? You can trust me.
Edmund: I'll be back as soon as I can.
Edmund: Zach. Zach, it's been unforgettable.
Zach: To coin a phrase, you ain't seen nothing yet.
Edmund: No, I haven't. But, listen, I'll try to make it back for dessert. I have an errand I have to run.
Zach: That's bad timing.
Edmund: Yeah. Well, I'll make it fast. Wouldn't want to spoil your fun.
Zach: We'll soldier on without you.
Edmund: That a boy.
Maria: I'll walk you out, ok, sweetie?
Jack: Oh, hey.
Zach: Welcome. You look great.
Jack: Thank you.
Zach: I hope you've been enjoying yourselves.
Erica: Oh, yes, Zach. You have no idea.
Jack: No idea. We've managed to keep ourselves occupied, yes.
Erica: Thank you. Thank you so much for talking Bianca into going home early.
Zach: Ah, she was beat.
Erica: She was beat, and I think she just doesn't understand that, you know, her energy has limits. She was so intent on fundraising for the Miranda Montgomery Center, and of course it meant so much to her to be here to host this party, you know, for her baby. Thank you very much, Mr. Slater.
Ethan: Mr. Slater.
Kendall: Why are you being so formal, Ethan? It's Zach. It's Zach. Well, all right. Isn't this fun? Well, you two look great.
Erica: I feel like a new woman.
Kendall: Oh. Well, hey, congratulations. I'm very happy for you. It's always wonderful when someone just --
Erica: Yes, Jack and I are very, very lucky.
Greenlee: Hey, congratulate me. I'm in love. So is my husband. Isn't that amazing?
Ethan: You're smooth. I'll give you that. You played me, Lavery. But the game is over, and you are about to find out that you have lost.
Ryan: What are you talking about?
Ethan: I get what's mine. Not you or anybody else is going to take it away from me.
Ryan: What? Where is this coming from? Where else?
Zach: Everyone, welcome. Please take your seats.
Jack: Wow, look at this. Nice. Here, my dear.
Maria: Thank you, Ryan.
Greenlee: Thank you.
Zach: Well, first off, I would like to say thank you for making this event a profitable one for the Miranda Montgomery Center. This dinner was conceived as a farewell to our generous donors, a way of showing some appreciation. But now -- now it is no longer a coup de grace because our evening won't end with dinner. We have one more surprise for you, a finale that none of you will ever forget.
Erica: You all have brought so much more than money to this event, although we are very grateful for all the money.
Erica: In fact, so many of you have offered ongoing support for the Miranda Montgomery Center. It makes me so proud of you, and so proud of our community, and especially of my daughter Bianca. Actually, I should not be standing here. My other daughter, Kendall, would be a much more appropriate choice. Kendall opened her heart to Miranda without question, without judgment right away, and it was Kendall who really embraced her sister, Bianca, and the baby she was expecting. And it was Kendall who really helped them both face every obstacle. I am eternally grateful to her for her spirit and for her stubborn nature, which all too often is just like mine. But when she puts her mind to it and applies it to the right cause, watch out. Actually, over the course of the last few months, I have had plenty of time to reflect on Miranda, what she has brought and continues to bring to our family. Each of us is born innocent and beautiful and with grace of spirit. But it's how we're treated and how we treat others that make us who we become. You have all been playing games of chance here this evening, but don't for one minute think that you haven't been doing good and important work, because you have. Thanks to your generosity, Miranda will -- Miranda, you will continue to live in my heart and in all our hearts. And, Miranda, you will blossom in the hearts of women and children who never knew you. But through the Miranda Montgomery Center, they will discover you. And they won't be able to help themselves -- they will love you. I miss you. We all miss you.
Zach: That was beautifully put, Erica. I thought you may want to know how much money we raised with this event. $1,938,000. And it's not over yet. Erica talked about the games we played tonight. Well, that brings you back to the surprise that I mentioned earlier. Casino owners are successful for one reason and one reason only. That's -- they know their customers and know what they want, especially high rollers like yourselves. So I planned an entertainment that I think would be perfect for the good people of Pine Valley -- a final game of chance. And the name of the game is murder.
>> On the next "All My Children" --
Zach: My people will stage a whodunit. One of you will be the victim, somebody else the killer.
Kendall: Who wouldn't enjoy a fun little homicide?
Adam: What the devil are you doing here? Don't tell me you're supposed to kill me.
Ryan: It's going to turn all kinds of ugly for someone tonight.
