Bianca: Hey. You're crying. Oh. Oh, Babe. What is it? Oh, sweetheart, what is it?
Babe: I'm so sorry, Bianca, for everything.
Bianca: Babe, what do you have to be sorry about?
Jamie: I got to hand it to you, J.R. Most guys wouldn't have forgiven Babe that easily.
J.R.: Well, I did think about how my dad would handle it.
Jamie: But you thought through it. You didn't follow in Adam's footsteps -- to the dark side.
J.R.: You have to weigh all the options. So much at stake.
Jamie: Well, here's to your wedding. Making it legal.
J.R.: And to freedom.
J.R.: Yeah, it's my last night of it, isn't it?
Jamie: Right, right. Just enjoy what little you have left.
J.R.: Brother, I intend to.
Kendall: If you were here right now -- if you were here -- thank God, you're not!
Greenlee: Hold on, hold on, hold on. I want equal billing. And that includes toasts.
Ryan: What, "Team Lavery" doesn't cut it for you?
Greenlee: "Team Lavery Smythe du Pres."
Ryan: Isn't that our accounting firm?
Greenlee: Fine. Then, to our marriage. May it be happy --
Ryan: And filled with surprises --
Greenlee: And prosper. Despite all the predictions of gloom and doom.
Ryan: You know, I thought I was going to need that Kevlar vest -- David coming back here, guns blazing.
Greenlee: That's not David's style. No! Spit it out, spit it out --
Greenlee: If you drank anything, spit it out!
Ryan: I didn't drink anything! You didn't give me a chance to drink it!
Greenlee: Guns aren't David's style, but this is.
Ryan: What? You think David drugged my scotch?
Greenlee: I didn't see him put anything in it.
Ryan: Doesn't mean he didn't do it.
Greenlee: Yeah. Let's not forget the Michael Cambias cocktail, guaranteed to kill any and all honeymoons.
Ryan: Ah. I was, like, this close.
Greenlee: It could be 100% pure scotch.
Ryan: Yeah, but it could be poison.
Greenlee: Or something more creative, and even worse.
Ryan: Wait, do you think David hates me that much, you know, just because I married you?
Greenlee: You want to find out? Bottoms up. Ryan, where are you going?
Ryan: I'm going to go pay a visit to the mad doctor.
Greenlee: Hey, we don't even know for sure that he did anything. I mean, it's not smoking or eating through the bottle.
Ryan: Give it time
Greenlee: We could just be paranoid.
Ryan: David wants to rip me to pieces slowly and very, very painfully.
Greenlee: Hey. Put this someplace where no one can get their hands on it. All right? We'll have evidence, if we need it.
Ryan: All right. Ok, now give me the bottle so I can dump the rest of it out of this --
Greenlee: No, I need it.
Ryan: Well, I'm not going to let you take him on by yourself.
Greenlee: Look, he won't hurt me. If David weren't Leo's brother, this wouldn't be happening.
Ryan: Well, then I'm coming with you.
Greenlee: No, I can handle David, trust me.
Ryan: I do trust you, but he's capable --
Greenlee: He's my ex-in-law, ok? I can handle him better alone.
Ryan: Hey -- this is just the beginning.
Greenlee: You and me against the world, big guy.
Ryan: I think we can take them.
Greenlee: I never doubted it.
Bianca: Whatever it is, it's going to be all right, ok?
Babe: No, Bianca, I -- I didn't mean to. I didn't know. If I had known --
Krystal: Baby, no, it wasn't your fault, honey. You did everything you could.
Bianca: Yes, that's right. Your mom's right. Babe, I -- I don't want you to feel guilty. And I don't want anyone to come here and feel sad. We may never know why Miranda was taken and Bess was spared. But I'm just so glad that one of them was. Truly, I am. I know -- I know that you're grieving my little girl. And you've shared so much.
Babe: No -- Bianca, you don't understand.
Bianca: No, I do, I do. I swear, I do. And I'm so grateful.
Maggie: Krystal, maybe we should give them some time alone. I --
Krystal: I don't know if that's a good idea.
Babe: Yes, Mama. Please?
Krystal: I'm just going to step right over here.
Bianca: You did so much for my little girl.
Babe: I love her.
Bianca: I know. I know. You brought Miranda into the world. It's because of you that I got to hold her at all. And I don't want you to feel like just because she's gone, that we're not connected, because we are. I feel her still. And you didn't have to come to this place. But I'm so grateful that you did.
Babe: It wasn't supposed to be this way.
Bianca: Look, I don't want you to grieve for my little girl -- not now -- because you have your own little girl to take care of. And, you know, babies -- they're so sensitive. They can pick up on any of this stuff, all right? You're getting married, and you're allowed to be happy.
Krystal: Babe, honey, Bianca's right. And we've got a lot of things to straighten up before -- before the wedding, so why don't we just -- let's go home, honey. Come on. Let's go. Let's go home.
Babe: No. I haven't said everything I have to say.
Bianca: What do you have to say, Babe?
Babe: Goodbye to the baby. I didn't know. I didn't. Sorry. I'll always remember you, my little angel. I'll love you, and I'll miss you the rest of my life.
Krystal: Let's go home now. Come on. Come on, let's go. Hey. Let's go.
Bianca: Thank you. Thank you for loving my baby so much.
Woman: I'm Nicole. You up for some eight ball?
Jamie: That sounds good, but I --
J.R.: Hey, dude. Go for it. I'm cool.
Nicole: I promise not to beat you too bad.
Jamie: Oh. Am I being hustled?
Nicole: Could be.
Jamie: Well, I'll take that risk.
Nicole: All right.
J.R.: My money's on you, bro. Hey, another round. One for the ladies, too.
Jamie: Hey, put that on my tab. This is my party. So what were you playing for?
Nicole: Well, I wouldn't want to take your money.
Jamie: I'm not going to let you.
Woman: So, you're not into games?
J.R.: Uh -- not that kind. Contact sports -- more my style.
Woman: The second I saw you, I knew we had a lot in common.
Greenlee: We're intelligent, reasonable people. We put our cards on the table, have a few drinks, and get over this craziness.
David: We can get over it easily. Divorce Ryan -- if it's not too late to annul him.
Greenlee: Would you stop being such a grouch? I came bearing gifts. Ryan's finest single malt.
David: Since when do you drink scotch?
Greenlee: I've been experimenting with new things.
David: I thought I made myself perfectly clear, Greenlee. I'm not drinking to your marriage.
Greenlee: All right. Don't smash anything again. I'm not asking you to make a toast. Just -- have a drink. Talk, relax.
David: There's nothing to talk about.
Greenlee: Fine. Be that way. I hate to drink alone, but a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do. You're really going to let me drink this?
David: Hey, it's your body. Go ahead.
Greenlee: Then, you didn't spike it with God knows what?
David: That's what -- No. But you'll never really know how close I came.
[Ryan finds Kendall about to burn mementos of their relationship.]
Ryan: You don't want to forget these.
Bianca: Look at all these things. I thought I would be the only one to mourn Miranda. I mean, you and Lena and Kendall -- everybody who loves me, of course, but I guess I just never expected that her loss would have such an effect on so many people. They never even really got to know her.
Maggie: I know. Babe -- my goodness, she was a wreck.
Bianca: Yeah. I'm not surprised. She brought Miranda into the world. And aside from me and Paul Cramer, she was the only one who got to hold her. It's funny. I thought that coming here would make me feel closer to her.
Maggie: You don't?
Bianca: Well, I feel Mirandas presence wherever I go. Don't worry -- it's not like I think every baby I see on the street is -- is mine.
Maggie: I don't worry about that.
Bianca: It's just she's always in my heart, you know?
Maggie: Yes, I know.
Bianca: But I like coming here. It's peaceful and so full of love.
Maggie: Do you want me to leave you alone?
Bianca: You're just anxious to get back to the car, aren't you?
Maggie: No. No, no.
Bianca: I know, I'm just teasing. No, I want you to be here. Have a seat.
Bianca: I try not to think of everything she missed. Everything we missed. All the growing-up moments. I like to think that Miranda was just a very, very old soul. She was so wise and so perfect that there was nothing for her to learn here. So she had to go. You know, I was never really all that religious, but I'm absolutely certain that she's out there somewhere waiting for me. And I know I'm going to find her and hold her again.
Babe: Paul said that I had a little boy. But then everyone told me that you were mine. I should have known. I should have just felt it somewhere inside.
Krystal: Oh, honey, you were sick and exhausted, and you didn't know what way was up.
Babe: Maybe I did know, and I didn't want to face it. But how could I face that my baby -- so I loved you right away. And I love you more than anything now. I love you like I've never loved anyone.
Jamie: Don't miss. Because if you do, then the table's mine, and it's all over.
Nicole: You distracted me. You cheated.
Jamie: You're a sore loser. Hey, J.R., watch this -- ok, where'd my brother go?
Nicole: He went outside with Susie. Don't worry, they're having fun. What, afraid you can't make the shot? Afraid you'll lose?
Jamie: That look like losing?
Susie: I'll be just a minute. Why don't you get us both something to drink?
Jamie: Hold that thought.
J.R.: Are you having as much fun as I am?
Jamie: What the hell are you doing?
David: Hmm. Satisfied?
Greenlee: Don't expect me to apologize. You thought about it.
David: You're damn right I thought about it.
Greenlee: Why would you want to hurt Ryan?
David: Hurt Ryan? I think it would help him immensely if he permanently lost his sex drive.
Greenlee: But he hasn't done anything wrong.
David: You know something? I think I do need the scotch.
Greenlee: Ryan and I are very happy.
David: Fine. You're happy. And I didn't spike his scotch with what he deserves. So why are you still here?
Greenlee: "What he deserves"? Why are you being like this?
David: Even if I chose to overlook Ryan's past, he did play you and Kendall up against one another, Greenlee. And now he marries you.
Greenlee: Can't you just be happy for me?
David: No! Look, this marriage thing -- it's your game. But you can't expect me to play along.
Greenlee: This isn't a game. I can be happy with Ryan. I am happy with Ryan.
David: Even though he's in love with someone else?
Kendall: Can't you see I'm busy?
Ryan: Yeah, you can back to your spring cleaning in a minute. Just tell me if you were in on it with David.
Kendall: Ok, since I have no idea what you're talking about, no.
Ryan: You invited him to my penthouse. You can honestly say you had no idea? You had no idea about his plan?
Ryan: Ok, I didn't think so.
Kendall: Ok. Well, it's been a long night for all of us, so if you don't mind --
Ryan: Kendall. Kendall -- we need to talk.
Kendall: You don't have to thank me for your surprise party. It was my pleasure.
Ryan: Yeah, I'm sure it was. Well, you made your point. You've still got style.
Kendall: Yep, for days. Thanks.
Ryan: Listen, Kendall, we both made our choices, all right? Can we find a way to co-exist? A way to have peace?
Kendall: Peace? Is that what you really want?
Ryan: I want us to get along -- the three of us.
Kendall: Right. That's right. I almost forgot.
Ryan: Yeah, that's how it is now, Kendall. Time to move on.
Kendall: Ok. Listen, do you mind if we -- can we take this conversation inside?
Kendall: Good. You can keep talking -- keep saying what you're saying. I just have to get something.
Ryan: More stuff for the fire?
Kendall: I'm sorry, you were saying?
Ryan: I assume that you're still onboard at Fusion and Enchantment.
Kendall: Yeah, why wouldn't I be?
Ryan: Well, if you've thought about selling stock, I'd be willing to buy.
Kendall: Oh, no, no, no, no. My mother gave me her shares of Enchantment. I'm not going to sell them. I'm not getting rid of my Fusion stock, either.
Ryan: So we'll be working together.
Kendall: Yeah, I don't have a problem with that.
Ryan: I'm not going to let you use your stock to get back at Greenlee, Kendall, or to sabotage the company.
Kendall: Why, so I can vote against something the two of you want just for the hell of it?
Ryan: Ah. Stranger things have happened.
Kendall: You don't mind, do you? I just -- I want to get ready for bed.
Ryan: No, go ahead. And for the record, the marriage was my idea. It was not Greenlee's.
Kendall: Right. Huh. I didn't see you hold a gun to her head, though she could have had one in her dress when she landed in the pool.
Ryan: No more pool fights, Kendall. I want peace.
Kendall: You want me to offer Greenlee an olive branch?
Ryan: Well, I just had a visual. You whittling away at the olive branch to a sharp point and then lunging at Greenlee's eye. You're very smart, Kendall.
Kendall: Mm-hmm, I'd like to think so.
Ryan: So then you know that all this hate is very destructive.
Kendall: Yes, very, very destructive. And actually, I think it's a terrible waste of energy.
Ryan: So you won't take your frustrations out on Greenlee?
Kendall: You think I'm frustrated?
Ryan: I want your word -- you'll lay off Greenlee.
Kendall: If you ask me, the only one who's frustrated here is you.
[Having slowly removed all her clothing, Kendall stands nude in front of Ryan]
Greenlee: I told you that I know that Ryan loves Kendall, but he married me.
David: Yeah, to get back at Kendall.
Greenlee: Ryan's not using me.
David: Yes, he is, Greenlee. And he's going to keep using you until someone makes him stop!
Greenlee: Oh, and that would be you? Then why didn't you poison him?
David: Hey, who knows? Either I want to give him a chance to do the right thing, or maybe I'm just trying to find something real special for Lavery.
Greenlee: I thought you got through this dark place, after Leora and Anna.
David: I survived.
Greenlee: Yeah, but you didn't recover -- not completely. After Leo died, I was in that mindset, too. Nothing but negative and bleak. But you helped me.
David: Yeah, I remember.
Greenlee: Yeah, a lot of people helped me. But maybe Ryan, most of all.
David: By manipulating you? By using you to stick it to Kendall in very much the same way that Cambias used Bianca to get back at Erica?
Greenlee: You can't seriously be comparing Ryan to Michael. You're worse off than I thought.
David: You can't just expect me to stand by and let this happen. Not again.
Greenlee: Again? I know that you've had a rough year -- with Bianca and her baby, on top of Leora and Anna. But you can't let that warp the way that you see everything. Ryan is nothing like Michael. He's a good man, David. He truly is, and --
David: You know --
Greenlee: I went into this marriage with my eyes wide open. I married Ryan because I wanted to. If you can't accept that, then I have nothing left to say to you.
David: Greenlee, wait. Don't go.
J.R.: This is my bachelor party. It's tradition. I'm allowed one last fling.
Jamie: Yeah, a dancer, maybe a stripper, but hooking up is not --
J.R.: What, you've never hooked up with some hot girl for fun? Does the name Babe Carey ring any bells?
Jamie: I thought we were past that.
J.R.: I'm just making my point.
Jamie: I thought you loved her. You forgave her. J.R., if you're not -- if you don't love Babe, you got to call the wedding off.
Babe: J.R. loves you, too, sweetheart. You and me -- we're his family. Oh, God. This is going to kill him. You know, he would have loved a little boy, too. A rough and tumble little guy who'll grow up to look just like his papa.
Krystal: Babe, I thought I was doing the right thing. Oh, good Lord, I was just trying to spare you all this.
Babe: I know. It just doesn't make any sense. Paul told me that my baby had died in the river. And it wasn't a dream or a nightmare. He told me. But then all of a sudden, he's saying that my baby's ok, and that -- that Bianca's is lost. It just doesn't make any sense. I mean, why would he change his story like that? Wait -- so I wouldn't feel bad? He doesn't even like me. He doesn't even give a damn.
Krystal: Maybe he got confused. Maybe he just made a mistake.
Babe: It had to be a mistake, right? Why would somebody do that on purpose? What would Paul get out of it?
Asa: Well, you did real good, bringing this little fella in the family. Now, Buchanan is a big name. And you, my friend --
Asa: Have big boots to fill.
Kevin: Ah, ace is up to it, aren't you? Huh, little man? Oh, come here. There you go. I just hope that Mom makes it. I really want him to know his grandmother.
Asa: Oh, hell. After Viki has that transplant, she's going to bust right out of that chute and show that little cowpoke there what spirit's all about.
Kevin: I'll tell you what, Grandpa. Sometimes I just can't believe he's here. You know? He's really mine.
Asa: Get used to it. That little guy's got the Buchanan brand all over him.
Krystal: Who knows why Paul said this little girl is yours. But he did. And he landed everybody in a hell of a mess.
Babe: Well, I have to find out, don't I? I owe that to Bianca. And her baby.
Kendall: There's no reason to be frustrated, Ryan. So, tell me. Is -- isn't there something that you want from me? Something that I can do for you?
Ryan: You know there is. And that's why I'm here.
Kendall: So, tell me.
Ryan: I already did. Play nice with Greenlee. There's no reason that we can't be adults here. Think about it.
Kendall: I'll think about it.
Ryan: Thank you.
Ryan: Good night, Kendall.
Greenlee: No more garbage about Ryan plotting revenge on Kendall.
David: I'm not trying to push you away.
Greenlee: Then give Ryan another chance.
David: You've got to know that no matter what happens, as long as I'm breathing, you have someone that you can come to, with anything.
Greenlee: I have my husband, too.
David: Well, time will tell. But if you're wrong, and if Ryan breaks your heart the way that he broke Kendall's --
Greenlee: I can take care of myself. But if you do decide to go after Ryan, family or not, I won't hesitate. I'll call the cops and bring you down.
Bianca: You know, I used to think that the world was just random, like just one big mass of chaos.
Maggie: But you don't anymore.
Bianca: Uh-uh. Since I lost Miranda, I have to believe that there's a reason for everything. Like maybe some lesson that I'm supposed to learn, or -- I don't know. But I have faith that I'm going to figure it out.
Maggie: I like what you said about Miranda being an old soul. If I were you, I don't -- I don't think that --
Bianca: What? What?
Maggie: I don't want to say it. It's -- it's so negative.
Bianca: Oh, no, no, say it. Just say it. Don't hold out on me.
Maggie: I don't think I could enjoy or love anything ever again.
Bianca: You lost Frankie.
Maggie: We lost her. But it's not the same.
Bianca: Well, maybe Frankies watching over Miranda right now.
Maggie: Now, that's a picture.
Bianca: I know. Dear God -- we can still laugh. That's what I think about. And I think about all the love I still have for my baby. How much I need her. And all the wonderful people that I have in my life.
Maggie: And all the love they have for you.
Bianca: And we're never going to forget about Miranda. I'll make sure of that. We'll just take all the love that we have for her and pile it on Bess.
Maggie: You're amazing. It's getting chilly. I'm going to go warm up the car for us, ok?
Bianca: Ok. I'll be right there.
Bianca: I saw your best friend today. Bess. She was so cheerful. And so beautiful. She reminded me of you.
Babe: I can see him now. I remember him. He had your eyes, Mama. And my nose. He was even tinier than you are, sweetheart. What chance would a tiny little baby have in the river? Oh. God, how does Bianca do this? I mean, how do you even go on living and breathing?
Krystal: Look, honey, you -- you are just wrung out. You need to get some rest, ok?
Babe: How can I even sleep, Mama? How can I even live? My baby's gone. He's gone.
Bianca: You and Bess were going to rule the world. You know that Bess even has your name? Bess Miranda. So nobody's ever going to forget about you. Babe and I won't let them. Good night, my angel. Mommy will always love you.
Krystal: In the morning when the sun comes up, we'll have a better idea of how to handle this. Close your eyes. Close your eyes, honey. Try to sleep.
J.R.: You are so easy, it's not even fun. Bro, you've been punk'd. I love her. Yes, I love Babe, I love my daughter, and yes, I'm getting married tomorrow.
Jamie: So, what happened with Susie?
J.R.: Nothing. I made up some thing about some constellations and stars, and she started telling me about her dreams of being an interior decorator. Real hot.
Jamie: On the level?
J.R.: Yes, on the level. Let's keep this party going. Hey, let's get another round.
Singer: My money now and complete oh, she shames
Ryan: Hey, how'd it go?
Greenlee: David knows where we stand.
Ryan: But did he drug the scotch?
Greenlee: No, but he pretty much wishes he had.
Ryan: Points for honesty.
Greenlee: I told him that he ever tries to hurt you, I'll decimate him.
Ryan: I won't let anyone hurt you, either. What's that?
Greenlee: Well, the other bottle had way too many negative vibes, so --
Ryan: Oh. Thank you. Excellent choice.
Greenlee: Yeah, I know the way to your heart, you know. Good food, good drink.
Ryan: Good times.
Greenlee: I'm ready for bed. You?
Ryan: I'm almost there.
Greenlee: I think I'll head in.
Ryan: Yeah, it was a long day.
Greenlee: Full of surprises.
Ryan: And there's another one tomorrow.
Greenlee: Good night.
Ryan: Sweet dreams.
Greenlee: You, too.
Ryan: Good night.
>> On the next "All My Children" --
Danielle: I'm suing your sorry butt.
Erica: Oh! No, Roberto, put me down.
Erica: What in the world do you think you're doing?
Krystal: Keeping this from Bianca could be the hardest thing you ever did. We can end this today.
