Ryan: Ha-ha -- we should be filming a movie. This place would make an unbelievable set!

Greenlee: A movie about two friends getting married?

Ryan: Sounds like big box office.

Greenlee: You sure?

Ryan: Yes, I'm positive. It's -- it's perfect. You done good, Greenlee.

Greenlee: And I haven't even gotten started. Come on, we have a lot to do before "I do." Come on, come on.

Kendall: Oh, come on -- what is the holdup already? Let's get this baby off the ground!

Simone: Kendall, Kendall, maybe somebody's trying to tell you something, like maybe you shouldn't race after Ryan and Greenlee.

Kendall: Simone, I have finally accepted that Ryan and I are meant to be together. Do you have any idea what a gigantic step that is for me?

Simone: Ok, so let's take one step at a time -- slowly, on the ground.

Kendall: You know, if you're going to be negative, Simone, get the hell off the plane.

Simone: Ugh.

Kendall: I'm going to be with Ryan, I'm going to get Ryan back, and nothing can stop me.

Simone: Oh, yeah? Watch me.

Edmund: And stay the hell out! You're as useless as my legs, you pontificating moron!

Orderly: Well, on the upside, it was empty.

Edmund: Manny, are you a glutton for punishment? I swear --

Anita: I don't scare so easy, but you're welcome to try.

Jack: Erica. Is she all right?

Tad: That all depends on how you look at it. One thing's for sure -- she's not coming back to Pine Valley anytime soon.

Erica: Oh, thank you. Hey, I beg your par-- Roberto, what do you think you're doing?

Bobby: Sorry, I need you sober when I give you this bit of news.

Erica: Well, that sounds ominous.

Bobby: Maybe. Looks as if your life in Vegas might be over.

Erica: What happened? What are you saying? Did they find me out?

Bobby: Depends on who you mean. It seems that the nice people at "The Las Vegas Insider" have you pegged bigtime.

Erica: How did they find out?

Bobby: Chuck McMaster's column, "Strip Scene." It's all over the paper. He gave Rudy's new show a rave review.

Erica: Roberto, in show business, a rave review is good news.

Bobby: Not if he singles out "Newest Footlight Favorite, Desiree Dubois."

Erica: "Charisma, flair, and a smile that outshines the strip." Oh, that is so sweet of Mr. McMaster. I really should send him flowers.

Bobby: I can't believe this. This guy could blow your cover and you're blowing him kisses?

Erica: He also wrote that I'm a "beauteous blonde," and he didn't write one word about being a dead ringer for Erica Kane, so I think that we don't have anything to worry about.

Bobby: This is too risky. Ok? I mean, he's telling people, some of the locals, to "run, don't walk" to catch your show. Do you get what I'm saying?

Erica: Yeah. Maybe somebody in that crowd is going to see past the hair and the costume -- I know. Ok, so maybe hide in plain sight wasn't my best idea. Oh, well. I'll have others.

Bobby: I have one right now -- we go to Rudy, and we tell him you quit.

Erica: Are you kidding? You're asking me to quit after just one night?

Bobby: What would you rather do? You just want to wait to get outed?

Erica: "When in Rome --"

Bobby: What does that mean?

Erica: I am in Vegas. Life here is all about risk, and you and Puggy -- you're the ones who reminded me of that. You ride the wave, you see where it takes you. Oh, come on, don't tell me you're going to throw up your hands and just tell me you're through with me?

Bobby: No, I -- I'm going to applaud and take notes. You may be one of the coolest players that I know. Here -- blow.

Erica: What's this?

Bobby: It's my dialing finger. Why don't you pretend it's dice and blow. Ah, that should do it.

Erica: Ok. Well, where are you going?

Bobby: To risk everything.

Edmund: I don't want the lights on.

Anita: Why did you run Manny off? He's a nice guy.

Edmund: Yeah, he's a nice guy. I asked him nicely three times to leave.

Anita: He is the best physical therapist on the staff.

Edmund: Well, then, I shouldn't be wasting his time, all right? He should be working with people he can help.

Anita: Oh, I am so glad I sent Maria home. She doesn't need to see you like this.

Edmund: Great --

Anita: Nobody does.

Edmund: Well, you all better get used to this because this is as good as it gets, all right? You don't like it, nobody's stopping you from walking out that door.

Kendall: No, no, no, I am finally ready to fly outside my comfort zone. No way am I going to let you ground me.

Simone: This isn't just about you.

Kendall: Ryan proposed to me. He wants to marry me and be with me, but I couldn't get past Greenlee.

Simone: Well, evidently, neither could he.

Kendall: Simone, I am risking everything. I'm putting myself out there. This is new for me. Be supportive, please.

Simone: Ok, all right. So why not wait till they get back and then you can talk to him --

Kendall: No, no, I know what I want, and I'm willing to risk everything.

Simone: You know, if Mia was here --

Kendall: Yeah, she would tell you to shut the hell up or get off the plane!

Simone: No, Mia would say, "What about Ryan, what he wants?" He proposed to you, yes, but then you kept throwing his relationship with Greenlee in his face, and who did he run off into the sunset with? Greenlee.

Kendall: Ok, well, Ryan needed something that I couldn't give him. He needed trust, and I wasn't ready.

Simone: But he's still with Greenlee. Why?

Kendall: I don't know. I don't -- I don't know. I have no idea, but I do know that I trust Ryan, I trust his love for me, and I can't veer off worrying about Greenlee. That's what started this trouble.

Simone: Ok, all right. So call him, all right? Get him on the phone and see what he says.

Kendall: I did. I tried. I couldn't get through. But you know, even if I could get through, it doesn't matter. I -- this is a major breakthrough. I need to share this with Ryan in person.

Simone: That's cozy -- just you and Ryan and Greenlee.

Kendall: Excuse me -- hello -- who called me on the phone squealing that Ryan and Greenlee were getting ready to take off for God knows where? You got me here to stop them!

Simone: Yeah, because that's when I thought you actually could. Ryan is with Greenlee now, somewhere in The Thousand Islands.

Kendall: All right, so what am I supposed to do? I'm supposed to wait for them to come back?

Simone: Yeah.

Kendall: No, no. Greenlee said something to David about being gone for six months. What if that's how long they're gone for?

Simone: No, Ryan told me that he'd be back before the quarterlies were due, ok?

Kendall: Well, then this has to be because I kicked Greenlee out of Fusion and Enchantment. I'm sure Ryan probably feels like he has to set her up in some new business.

Simone: You think that they took off on business?

Kendall: Yeah. Obviously, you don't.

Simone: I'm sorry, Kendall. I think if you go after them and you find Ryan, it's going to be too late.

Ryan: Do they know we're not royalty?

Greenlee: I almost expect to see unicorns grazing in the garden.

Ryan: But quietly so they don't wake the sleeping princess.

Greenlee: Do you mind if we have the ceremony here?

Ryan: Yeah, that's why we came.

Greenlee: No, I mean out here? It's so bright and clear and otherworldly.

Ryan: You want an out-of-this-world wedding? You got it.

Greenlee: With a storybook setting like this, there's nowhere to go but happily ever after. How can our future be anything but amazing?

Kendall: You're my future. I would -- I would marry you tonight if you want to.

Greenlee: Ryan?

Ryan: I'm sorry about that.

Greenlee: Where were you just now?

Ryan: I just -- I just zoned out for a sec.

Greenlee: No, something's wrong. What is it? You know, I thought you were fine with everything, that you were happy about this.

Ryan: It -- it is -- I am.

Greenlee: Yes, but?

Ryan: But -- but it's just crazy. Just -- it just hit me how wild this all is.

Greenlee: It's totally, completely off the wall. Maybe that's why it seems so perfect for crazy us.

Ryan: And you're sure, you're absolutely certain this is what you want?

Greenlee: I totally trust you, Ryan.

Ryan: You really do?

Greenlee: I do. If I didn't, I wouldn't be about to pledge you my troth.

Ryan: Well, your troth is safe with me.

Greenlee: I know it is. Remember that Thanksgiving Day from hell at the Valley Inn?

Ryan: Oh, poor Myrtle said grace when what we really needed was an exorcism.

Greenlee: It was the worst. I tried to lose myself in champagne, and I was a mess until you danced with me. You made it all better. That's what I want our marriage to be.

Ryan: First-aid?

Greenlee: No, a dance, the two of us in total synch.

Kendall: Too late? Simone, it's not like it's the end of the world.

Simone: But what if you find them and Ryan and Greenlee have already slept together?

Kendall: Did you have to go there?

Simone: Well, what if they have? What if you find them and they're in a hotel and the deed's already been done? Do you still think you could go through with it? Do you still think that you could follow through and tell Ryan that you love him? Could you actually be ok with this whole Greenlee issue?

Kendall: Well, if that happened, then I'd have to.

Simone: Well, yeah. But how? You know, the last time that you were up for murder, you were innocent, and I don't want to personally be there, sitting in another courtroom for you.

Kendall: Look, don't worry about it. I'm not going to kill Ryan. Or Greenlee.

Simone: But you would want to. And every time that you and Greenlee are face to face, you two lose it. Anything can happen. Oh, you know what? If you are so determined to do this, then obviously someone needs to be there to protect you from yourself.

[Engine starts]

Simone: So you either tell this pilot, "Thank you, but no thanks," or I'm coming along for the ride.

Pilot: Ms. Hart, if you will buckle up, we will taxi out for takeoff.

Anita: Ok, your legs don't work, and it's a big, big adjustment to make. But you're still Edmund and you can still have a fabulous life with a wife and children that love you.

Edmund: That's real easy to say.

Anita: Yeah, and it'll be tough as hell to do. But isn't the love that you have for Maria, the love that she has for you -- isn't that worth fighting for?

Edmund: I can't fight this. I tried. I had surgery.

Anita: Look, we all know what you lost. But look at what you've still got and all that you can have if you don't trash it. What would you do if it were Maria in this bed? What would you want her to do? You know what? Maybe you don't love her as much as I thought or you really don't know who she is, because if you think that she loves you less because you can't walk, or if you think my sister's love is not worth the effort, then you never deserved her!

Nurse: There's a call for you on line two. It's your husband.

Jack: Bobby Warner?

Tad: Is managing a hotel casino -- The Seasons.

Jack: You know, Erica went with him to Philadelphia, played a little poker with some of his buddies.

Tad: Well, that would fit into Aidan's report.

Jack: That little son of a -- you know, I asked Warner if he knew anything about Erica and he told me even if he did, he sure as hell wouldn't tell me. Well, I guess he wasn't kidding, was he? So, this whole time he's been helping her hide out?

Tad: Oh, he's been doing more than that. Jack, he's -- he's comping her room, and he's got Erica on his payroll.

Jack: Erica's working at a casino?

Tad: Oh, she's -- she's in a show on The Seasons' main room.

Jack: Oh. You got to be kidding me.

Tad: Nope.

Jack: Hiding in plain sight working at a Las Vegas casino. Is she drinking?

Tad: Aidan said it was just, you know, champagne.

Jack: There's no such thing as "just" for Erica.

Tad: He seemed to think that she had it under control.

Jack: No. No, she's drinking, she's in trouble. Well, this certainly explains a lot, huh?

Bianca: Like what? My mother's a coward? You have been up every night. I have been ripping myself apart thinking that I pushed her over the edge, trying not to imagine her depressed and miserable. Her father dies before she can have a chance to talk to him, and she can never have closure? Well, you know what? It's great to see that Mom has found a way to deal with her grief. Feeling lost, distraught? Be a showgirl.

Jack: Wait, wait, wait, wait. We don't know what's going on in Erica's mind.

Bianca: I do. "To hell with everyone and everything. Live it up, have a good time. Why wear black when you can wear sequins and feathers?" Reggie's right -- Mom doesn't care about us at all.

Jack: No. We don't know the whole story here.

Bianca: That's true. What is she doing with Bobby Warner? Are they having an affair?

Tad: Um -- Aidan didn't really seem to know what their relationship was.

Jack: Ugh.

Bianca: Well, I'll tell you, Bobby Warner's wife is a friend of mine. Anita Santos was great to me when I was in the hospital, and where was my own mother? Off with Anita's husband. I want to know why. What is she doing with Bobby, and what the hell does she think she's doing to you?

Anita: Hello? Hello?

Bobby: Anita Santos Warner, I hear your voice and I start smiling. I can't help it.

Anita: Bobby, you sound happy.

Bobby: Oh, is that what this feeling is? I was this close to forgetting.

Anita: Well, what changed?

Bobby: Ah, you know, me. I'm coming into my own out here -- you know, with work?

Anita: I'm really glad about that.

Bobby: Yeah, there's this newbie, actually, that I've been mentoring and showing the Vegas ropes, and it's paying off for everyone.

Anita: It's good to hear that excitement in your voice.

Bobby: Mm-hmm, yeah. Yeah, but listen, enough about me. How about you? How are things? How are Edmund and Maria?

Anita: Every day is like -- like some inspirational movie, except there's no break for commercials and no nice, neat ending.

Bobby: I know they're your family, but I got to give you some credit. I mean, there aren't a lot of people who can handle what you can handle. Your support must mean everything to them, huh?

Anita: No, I don't know about that.

Bobby: Yeah, well, it means everything to me.

Anita: I know.

Bobby: Speaking of which, there's a reason I called. Now, this is going to be one of those "free-fall, don't think, don't blink" kind of moments. I just want you to try and forget everything you think about me, grab my hand, and take a risk. You think you can do that?

Kendall: When Ryan and Greenlee left town last time, I jumped to a lot of dumb conclusions. I'm not going to do that again.

Simone: Yeah, well, I want to be wrong. I bet Mia 50 bucks that you and Ryan would pull through.

Kendall: Ryan loves me. He said he wants to marry me.

Simone: Yeah, but that was before.

Kendall: No, how many times has Ryan asked me to trust him and to believe in him? And now, finally, I do. Simone, I'm not going to let you talk me and scare me out of finding him.

Simone: Well, it's him and Greenlee.

Kendall: No, all he has to do is look me in the eyes, and Ryan will see that it's true -- that I trust him not to hurt me. I'm ready. I'm ready to jump off that cliff.

Simone: Well, that's pretty much where we're headed.

Kendall: No, no. It's this dream that I keep having. I'm -- I'm dancing on the edge of a cliff with Ryan. And in a way, I was. I was because no matter how close we were, I always felt like we were on the edge of disaster. I didn't have any faith in him to keep me safe.

Simone: But now you have faith.

Kendall: Yes. Yes, Ryan won't let me fall.

Greenlee: A case of groom jitters?

Ryan: Jitters? You think I'm nervous?

Man: May I help you?

Ryan: Yeah -- two rooms, Lavery.

Man: Ah, Mr. Lavery. Welcome. Two rooms? But you are here to get married, aren't you?

Greenlee: Yes, but not this minute. I mean, it may seem old-fashioned to you, but I don't want him to see me in my dress before the ceremony. I don't do bad luck.

Man: Yes, of course. Well, you can have as many rooms as you want for as long as you want them.

Greenlee: Oh, when we say "I do," we'll only need the one.

Ryan: Sweetheart, I don't know if I can wait that long.

Greenlee: Oh, me, neither. But it will be so much more wonderful if we do.

Ryan: Hmm.

Man: Well, let's see about that second room, then. Thank heavens you're getting married today.

Ryan: Yeah. Thank something.

Man: Ok, your keys. You're in rooms 103 and 203.

Ryan: Great, thanks. Come on, honey.

Man: Oh, Mr. Lavery, we're holding a package for you.

Ryan: Oh, that must be the prenup from Livia.

Man: Here you go.

Ryan: Great. Do you have a -- a notary on the premises?

Man: Yes, Steven Steins in accounting. I'll locate him for you.

Ryan: Great. Thank you. Shall we?

Greenlee: Let's. If I hadn't bought a dress already, I would grab that up so fast.

Ryan: I wouldn't let you.

Greenlee: Nowhere in that prenup does it give you fashion approval.

Ryan: I've seen it, and you don't do bad luck, remember? We're not taking any chances.

Greenlee: Hmm.

Kendall: Ryan is with Greenlee right now, because I pushed him into her arms. Bianca was dead-on about that. But now I have a chance to turn things around and make things right, so I'm going to forgive Greenlee for everything now.

Simone: Oh, yeah.

Kendall: I am. I'm going to give her what's hers -- the job that Ryan wanted her to have at Fusion. She belongs at the top.

Simone: Hmm. Ryan, Fusion, Fusion, Ryan -- hunk, hard work. Well, I know which one I'd choose.

Kendall: Yeah, well, here's the thing -- it's not Greenlee's choice. Ryan made it perfectly clear from the start that he wasn't romantically interested in Greenlee. She wasn't a threat to our relationship. He just -- he just wanted to treat her fairly.

Simone: He wanted to give her the business -- Fusion.

Kendall: No, ok. Greenlee might want Ryan, but Ryan wants me. He wants to be with me, he wants to marry me, which is great. I mean, if we're lucky, we can have the ceremony right away whenever I find him. You can be the maid of honor.

Simone: Oh, great! Yeah, Greenlee will be there. She can throw rice, or large rocks.

Kendall: Simone, I'm not going to let you rain on my parade. Greenlee can have her own honeymoon with Fusion.

Simone: Well, let's cross our fingers.

Kendall: Luck doesn't matter. Jack was right. If you really, really love a person, you'll fight. You'll fight to get them back even when it feels hopeless. You can ignore all the odds, because you know deep in your soul that you're meant to be with this person. I'll get down on my knees and beg and plead with Ryan if I have to to get him back, and he will -- he'll take me back. Can this plane fly any faster?

Jack: Bianca, listen to me -- whatever Erica's doing, she's not doing it to hurt us.

Bianca: Not that she really cares.

Jack: Look, she's drinking. She's trying to ease her pain that way.

Tad: Bianca, listen, it seems to me that your mother has gotten as far away from who she really is as she possibly could. You know, if nobody knows who you are, they can't hurt you.

Jack: Or help you.

Bianca: Well, you've tried to help her. How many messages have you left on her cell phone every day? You hired Tad and Aidan to track her down!

Jack: Yes, I'm glad I did because now at least I know she's relatively safe!

Bianca: Yes, but she's given in to her addiction! I lost my baby, but I haven't given in to my eating disorder. I haven't stopped eating or said, "To hell with everyone who loves me." I took Babe's baby.

Jack: Oh, honey, you suffered a tragic loss --

Bianca: Forget it! Stop that! That doesn't make what I did ok. There is no excuse for what I did to Babe and J.R., just like there's no excuse for what Kendall did to Ryan or for what Mom did to you and me and Kendall. I can't forgive this! Now, if you don't want to give up on her, then I feel sorry for you, but I'm done with her.

Jack: Oh --

Bianca: That's it.

Jack: Wait a minute. Bianca, please don't do this!

Anita: We were doing better. Why would you want to risk everything --

Bobby: Hey, hey, the -- the words weren't even out of my mouth and you shoot me down. How is that us doing better?

Anita: Oh, gosh, Bobby. I mean, you -- you want us to move past all sorts of things. It's just -- it's not possible.

Bobby: You don't even know what I was going to say.

Anita: I know what you were going to say. You were going to say that -- that you found this wonderful opportunity, you're a little short on funds, but this is the one that's going to pay off, right? Am I close?

Bobby: You're good at your job, but you just cut me off at the knees without any anesthesia.

Anita: Bobby, whatever it is, it's too risky.

Bobby: Anita, you read the news, you watch TV. There is real money to be made out there. Why don't you think that I'm a person who can make it? I've been busting my hump to save $7,000 from my salary. My life insurance is worth another 3,000. The blue book on our car is another 7,000.

Anita: The car?

Bobby: And after that, all I need is another 2,000, 3,000, and we've got that in our savings. The more money we put into this, the more money we get out.

Anita: You -- wait a second. You want to sell the car? And then what do I do, thumb to work?

Bobby: You got your pick of the Wildwind fleet. And you'll be able to buy a car after a week when we cash out.

Anita: A new car? In a week?

Bobby: This is different, I'm different. I know a good deal when it comes along, and the money that we stand to make on this -- I'm telling you, baby, we're talking a house, a yard, a pool, puppies, and kids.

Anita: Bobby --

Bobby: I just want to be the guy that gives you the world, not some loser that you -- you shut down without even giving a second thought. Faith, Anita -- that's what we both need here right now.

Anita: You haven't even paid Palmer back from your last big thing.

Bobby: After this, I can, with interest.

Anita: You know what, Bobby? I -- I can do without the pool and the house and the puppies. What I need is -- is a man that I can count on. You know, I have to get back to work. I got to go. Bye.

Greenlee: Mmm. Mmm. Good. Mmm, very good.

Ryan: Well, they better be, at 10 bucks a pop.

Greenlee: Hmm? No, not these -- I mean, they're yummy, but this -- this is genius! There's, like, not one -- not one dangling asset or uncovered fund. You were even more thorough than I was.

Ryan: Well, the transfer papers don't go through until I kiss the bride.

Greenlee: Hmm.

Ryan: And we don't want to have a problem with you not getting your fair share.

Greenlee: There's only one thing missing here, though.

Ryan: What? I put everything in there.

Greenlee: Uh-uh -- the "No more Kendall" clause.

Ryan: Oh. Yeah, well, you know what? That's a done deal. Putting it in writing would be just overstating the obvious.

Greenlee: True. Back to our masterpiece.

Ryan: Mmm.

Greenlee: What the hell is this?

Erica: No dice?

Bobby: No. A man in New Orleans taught me this. Bitters, cranberry, and soda. It settles the stomach.

Erica: You're not feeling well?

Bobby: It's what happens when you get kicked in the gut. It seems my wife is uninterested in Puggy's wildcat venture. I guess he's going to make someone else rich.

Erica: Well, maybe you just need to put it in terms that she can understand.

Bobby: What's there not to understand? I need 10 grand of our money to make a fivefold return.

Erica: You're right. That is fairly simple.

Bobby: Wait -- where you going?

Erica: To get your money.

Bobby: Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait. Sit back down.

Erica: Why, my money is not good enough for you?

Bobby: Look, Desiree --

Erica: Please, come on. You and Puggy -- you've been such good friends to me. Let me help you the way you've helped me.

Bobby: Look, I appreciate the offer, but it's not about the cash. If it was, I would thank you and I would write you an IOU.

Erica: It's about faith, isn't it?

Bobby: Yeah, I think you have me mistaken with someone who has some depth.

Erica: No, I recognized that look on your face when you came back -- the mix of shock and shame and hurt. I'm sure it was the same look that was all over my face when I first came to Las Vegas. And it's just crazy because you go through your whole life trying your best, and then all of a sudden and without your even knowing this, everyone decides that you're a person no one believes in, a nonentity. Until you find your way to a safe haven where you make a friend. And then suddenly -- suddenly you're Desiree Dubois, Queen of the Desert, three shows nightly.

Bobby: What about that sucker-punched expression?

Erica: That's what makeup's for -- or in your case, sunglasses. But you still keep going if you've got the guts. Hey, come on, you're not going to let this one setback leave you crying in your bitters, are you?

Jack: Well, Bianca certainly feels abandoned.

Tad: Can you blame her?

Jack: After everything else she's gone through, she shouldn't have to go through this, I'll tell you that much. Look, I do appreciate the job you did. It's good to know what's going on.

Tad: Yeah, maybe, maybe not. Jack, I'm sorry. I had no idea she was here. Always the worst part of my job is delivering bad news.

Jack: Yeah, well, it's sure a hell of a lot better than all the things I was imagining.

Tad: Listen, Aidan hired some local surveillance out there to keep an eye on Erica, make sure she couldn't relocate without us knowing about it. Is that what you want or would you prefer I called it off?

Jack: What the hell is going on in Erica's head anyway? I mean, what -- what does she think we're all doing back here, all of us that love her? Or is she even thinking about us? You know what? I don't think she is!

Tad: Jack, come on. She's not going to stay away forever.

Jack: You know what? I just gave Kendall the speech about "do anything for the person you love. Walk through fire, swim the oceans, move mountains -- do anything you have to!" But you know what? If I saw Erica drunk lying in the gutter across the street, I'm not so sure I'd go over to help her!

Simone: He loves her. He loves her not. He loves her.

Kendall: Ernie is not only a fantastic pilot, he's a great schmoozer. We are landing this very plane to the same airport the Cambias jet is landing to.

Simone: Hmm, wow.

Kendall: And even better -- even better -- Ernie got the destination -- The Thousand Island Castle. Mm-hmm, Thousand Island Castle!

Simone: Wow. That's probably complete with a moat and a dragon.

Kendall: There's going to be a car waiting for us when we get there at the stop.

Simone: All right.

Kendall: Mm-hmm.

Simone: Kendall, are you absolutely --

Kendall: Yes, yes, yes! I am sure, I am positive, I am certain. This is the exact thing that I have to do. This is the right thing to do, Simone. I can be dancing on the edge of a cliff, blindfolded with -- with 10-inch stilettos. It doesn't matter because with Ryan I will never be hurt again.

Greenlee: You think this is fair?

Ryan: Call me selfish.

Greenlee: I could see stipulating once a week, but once a day? Every day that we're married?

Ryan: Well, I thought it would be fun.

Greenlee: But there's -- but there's no spontaneity. Tons of pressure.

Ryan: Well, I'm not going to force you.

Greenlee: Oh! Well, thanks for that much.

Ryan: Well, hey, you don't have to do it if you don't feel like it. I'll do it myself.

Greenlee: You're really up for this?

Ryan: Oh, I guarantee that I'm up for this.

Greenlee: All right. I accept the challenge. "One surprise given to each spouse by the other per day." I can swing it if you can.

Ryan: Ah. And we're off!

Greenlee: Already?

Ryan: Yeah.

Greenlee: But I don't have anything for you.

Ryan: Oh, we don't have to surprise each other simultaneously. Me first.

Greenlee: Oh, twist my arm. Ha! Oh, my God! It's gorgeous! It's like a work of art!

Ryan: Yeah, my buddy in Philly does them.

Greenlee: Oh!

Ryan: This is his first time with a dip into pastels.

Greenlee: I adore it!

Ryan: Sorry I couldn't ship you, you know, the bike.

Greenlee: The bike?

Ryan: Yeah, it's not ready. The motorcycle that I've customized for you -- it's the same color with champagne leather seats. I think you'll be pleased.

Greenlee: Pleased? Ha-ha-ha! Oh, my gosh! And what's that?

Ryan: Oh, this? This is your only defense against helmet hair.

Greenlee: You thought of everything. I am marrying the most thoughtful man in the world.

Ryan: Well, top five.

Greenlee: Oh, and so modest. I love you, Ryan Lavery.

Ryan: I'm going to -- I will go see if the desk clerk has gotten in touch with the notary yet, and we can get this all done.

Greenlee: Well, after we sign that and say "I do," you know, there's no turning back.

Ryan: I know. You sound worried.

Greenlee: Well, only about you. Ryan, you can still back out. I won't hold it against you if you do.

Anita: Hey, Aidan.

Aidan: Hey, Anita.

Anita: So, how was Las Vegas?

Aidan: Busy, glitzy.

Anita: What brings you here?

Aidan: I thought I'd check on Edmund. Good seeing you.

Anita: Oh, Aidan, wait. I need to know if I was wrong. Did you find Erica with my husband?

Erica: Regardless of what she said, your wife is still a woman. And women love a man who makes things happen. So once your risk pays off, she's going to find you irresistible.

Bobby: You may know women, but you don't know my wife.

Erica: Trust me, please. I'll provide the money and you and Puggy -- you provide the luck.

Bobby: Yeah, save your scratch. Ok, if I really want to do this, I'll -- I'll find a way.

Erica: Do you really want this? Do you want to succeed and prove them all wrong?

Bobby: So much, it makes me crazy.

Erica: And how are you going to make this happen?

Bobby: I -- I know a guy. He likes me. He loves a good investment. It's a done deal.

Erica: Ooh, Roberto. Do you feel that breeze? That is the goddess of luck flapping her wings over both of us.

Tad: Look, everything you said to Bianca was right on. Unless you're inside Erica's head, you can't possibly know why she's doing any of this.

Jack: But do I care?

Tad: Of course you do. Right now you're just upset and angry, so do me a favor as your friend, ok? Just give it some time to cool off. After that, you want to go out and hook up with Erica in Vegas, I'll help you.

Jack: You were the one that told me to let her go!

Tad: No, Jack. I said if she wants to end it, you don't have a choice. Either way, do you really think you could live with yourself if you decided to walk away from Erica without giving her a chance to explain?

Jack: I'd sure as hell try.

Tad: Look, what you said to Kendall was right on, ok? It was the truth -- if you love somebody, really love them, you never give up hope. I know. I've only ever loved one person in my entire life. If I had one chance to get Dixie back, even if it was the smallest chance known to God and man, I would take it. You just let me know what you want me to do, ok?

Ryan: And why would I want out?

Greenlee: I don't know. But you can. It's all right.

Ryan: Let the adventures begin.

Greenlee: Good.

[Knock on door]

Greenlee: Is that another surprise?

Ryan: Well, only one way to find out.

Man: Hi, I'm Steven --

Greenlee: Our notary!

Ryan: Come in! Come in, come in, come in, come in. We have three copies of the document.

Greenlee: And I do have a surprise!

Steven: For me?

Greenlee: For my fiancÚ. I forgot all about it. Oh.

Ryan: Um --

Greenlee: Here, I got it in the airport gift shop. See, wait, wait, wait, wait -- turn it this way. See? Motorcycles can go in reverse.

Ryan: I love it! I love it! Hey, Steve, have you ever notarized a signature with one of these bad boys?

Steven: Uh, no. This is my -- my first. We only need one copy witnessed.

Ryan: Oh, ok. Ok. Need some ID?

Steven: Yeah.

Ryan: Yeah.

Steven: I need some photo ID and --

Ryan: Ok, we got it. We're all set. I have ID.

Steven: Ok. Now you have to sign here --

Ryan: Ok.

Steven: And here and then put the date.

Ryan: Ok, great, great, great. Excuse me.

Ryan: Now it's your turn.

Steven: Ok. My turn. Ok.

Ryan: Phase one accomplished. Well, hey, thanks.

Steven: Oh.

Greenlee: Thanks.

Steven: Thank you --

Greenlee: Uh-huh.

Steven: And congratulations.

Ryan: All right, thank you. Thank you very much, Steve. Thanks for all your -- I'll get that for you.

Steven: I'll see you guys later.

Ryan: Thanks. You ready for phase two?

Greenlee: There's nothing left to stop us.

Kendall: Look at this. This is amazing! This is beautiful! Oh, God, Simone, this couldn't be more romantic.

Simone: It's absolutely amazing.

Kendall: It's perfect. It's perfect. And soon I'll be dancing -- I'll be dancing safe in Ryan's arms.

>> On the next "All My Children" --

Aidan: You've got to stop me before I break Anita's heart, because her husband is a lying skeeve!

Greenlee: I just want to make sure you know exactly what you're getting into.

Kendall: Now all we have to do is find out what room Ryan is in and give him the surprise of his life.

Ryan: I do.
