All My Children Transcript Friday 4/30/04

Greenlee: You want to marry me?
Ryan: I do.
Greenlee: You don't. I mean, back up. You and Kendall -- you love her, she loves you. That doesn't just go away.
Ryan: This isn't about Kendall. This is about you and me.
[Elevator doors open]
Bianca: All right, well, that's everything.
Jack: Ok, I'll let the nurse know you're ready to go, then. Come here.
Bianca: Uncle Jack, wait.
Bianca: I know that you said Mom's out of town, but I really want to talk to her. Could we go see her?
Jack: Well, you know, sweetheart, there's nothing I'd like to do better, but -- you know what? Why don't we get you settled in before we talk about Erica, ok?
Bianca: Uncle Jack, you don't know where Mom is, do you?
Rudy: And one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight -- quick bevel. Break. Good work.
Erica: No, you don't have to say it. My tendus were limp, my jetes were weak, and the Cuban action just crashed and burned. Look, I'm going to be out of your hair in seconds, and you'll never see me again, I swear.
Kendall: Oh, you're a real hands-on kind of boss. Did you come here to toss Greenlee out of the building?
Ryan: No, I didn't.
Kendall: Well, then, why are you here?
Greenlee: Ok, I'll go get something. I'll be back in a couple minutes.
Kendall: Well, at least you're too smart to fight this. We still have a lot of ground to cover about the merger of Enchantment and Fusion.
Ryan: We covered plenty.
Kendall: But there's still a lot to talk about.
Ryan: I'm all talked out. You all set?
Kendall: Ryan, what about the paperwork and the restructuring --
Ryan: It can wait.
Kendall: Don't let me stop you.
Rudy: Desiree, do you even know what the final cluster was? Because you left it out entirely.
Erica: Which is why I'm out the door.
Rudy: Not until I finish. All my other girls can do the steps blindfolded, but you have more stage presence, command, white-hot fire than all of them combined.
Erica: Well, I almost crashed into Sherice on the chaine.
Rudy: Yet I still adore you. That should tell you something. Between my brilliance and your raw talent, by the holiday rush, I will make you queen of the stage.
Erica: Look, Rudy, I'm not interested in royalty I need a job, and the chorus just suits me fine.
Rudy: I don't need a worker bee. Agree to be my muse or tell your story walking.
Erica: Is that an ultimatum?
Rudy: This is show business. All or nothing, ma petite. Dancers I can find, showstoppers the gods hand you once in a lifetime, and I intend to grab on with both hands. I see it in your eyes. You would shrivel and die in the back row.
Erica: No, I wouldn't. I like it back there.
Rudy: Liar! Rehearsals will leave you weeping, but you will be a star.
Bobby: Well. When I am wrong, I am wrong bigtime. You are a dancer.
Erica: No. I am a rank amateur, and I have some potential.
Bobby: Well, maybe you are, but Desiree is definitely A-level pro all the way. So, this is your new beginning. How does it feel?
Erica: Well, rebirth can leave you a little breathless.
Bobby: Yeah, but are you happy? I mean, is this the start you were looking for?
Erica: Up there on that stage, I mean, Desiree can succeed or she can fall flat on her face and it won't be all over the papers. That's a freedom I had forgotten.
Bobby: Yeah, there's still a lot at stake, though.
Erica: Compared to what I left behind? Roberto, the only loss that Desiree's ever going to have to face is her job. That's a risk I can live with.
Jack: I've got Tad and Aidan on her trail, and if anybody can find her, it's those two, right? Look, I promise you, Erica will be home to us very, very soon. Right now I just want to get you settled in my place, ok?
Bianca: As long as I won't be in the way.
Jack: Oh -- you're welcome company, my sweet, always. I'll be right back, ok?
Bianca: Oh. Anita. Please come on in.
Anita: Bianca, I -- I wanted to apologize.
Bianca: For what?
Anita: If it wasn't for me -- I mean, it was my fault. I -- I broke the rules. I let you stay in the nursery with Bess, and I just -- I shouldn't have done it.
Bianca: Oh, no, Anita. I'm sorry if I got you in any trouble.
Anita: Oh, I don't care about the rules. I care about you. If I had known that --
Bianca: Well, how could you have known? I didn't even know. All I knew is that when I went into that nursery, I wanted to hold my baby, and you understood that.
Anita: You looked so happy.
Bianca: I was. Thanks to you, I got to feel my baby in my arms one last time. Oh, don't get me wrong. I know that it was Babe's baby and not mine, but for those few minutes, I was able to convince myself that she was Miranda.
Anita: Oh, Bianca, I am so sorry.
Bianca: No, don't be. Really, those few minutes that I spent with her, somehow it made it easier to say goodbye to Miranda. I mean, I still have a really long way to go, but --
Anita: You'll get there. And if there is ever anything that you need, promise me you'll ask.
Bianca: Actually, there is something.
Jack: So, so sorry. I know Edmund had so much hope.
Maria: Hope? He was going to wrestle God to the ground to get back on his feet. And now --
Jack: How's he taking it?
Maria: Well, you know Edmund. How do you think?
Brooke: You think Maria wanted this -- you in a wheelchair for life?
Edmund: You know she was dead set against this surgery.
Brooke: Because you could have died.
Edmund: What if she got scared that that might happen, Brooke? What if she ordered Dr. Marshall to stop?
Brooke: That's ridiculous.
Edmund: Is it? Do you know how many times she told me over and over "I'd rather see you paralyzed than risk your life trying to walk again"? So maybe I have to spend the rest of my life like this because of her fear --
Brooke: Stop it! Don't you dare say another word.
Bianca: I have tons of brand-new baby gear, I mean, furniture, clothes, toys, the works, and I would really love it if you could find some women in the hospital to give it to who couldn't afford it on their own.
Anita: Oh, God, absolutely. I'll do it, yeah. You are such an angel.
Bianca: No. I'm a woman, and I'm just trying to get my life back. Would you like to have lunch with me sometime?
Anita: Yes. I would love that.
Bianca: Maybe we can even go riding at Wildwind like when we were kids.
Anita: Yeah, that would be great, except I was never as good at it as you were.
Anita: I remember you and Rosa would be halfway up the upper meadow, and I'd still be back at the barn.
Bianca: Yeah, that's true. Nobody was as fast as Edmund. He was speed demon, totally fearless. How is Edmund?
Anita: He's ok.
Bianca: Anita, don't. I mean, I know that you just mean well, so does everyone else, but I can take it, I can deal. I've been thinking about Edmund a lot, and Maria, too. What's going on with them?
Maria: No, I didn't have that much faith in the surgery. But Edmund was totally determined, so I just prayed. I just prayed that we would win, and, I mean, look at us, we've beat the odds so many times. And, you know, why not this time? I just -- we didn't, though, this time, and now the only chance that Edmund had to walk again is gone and --
Brooke: Someone told me that there would come a day when I wouldn't want to know Edmund Grey. I wouldn't have believed them, but you keep this up, and today will be the day.
Edmund: Brooke, don't shut me down. Maria was terrified of losing me. You know she was against this operation. Hell, I mean, she was -- you were on her hit list just for supplying research for me, all right? There was nothing about this procedure that she liked.
Brooke: That's right, that's absolutely right, but she went along with it for you.
Edmund: She held my hand, she said the right things, I know, she kissed me goodbye, but then -- but how do I know once I got wheeled into OR -- how do I know that her fear didn't take over? How do I know that she didn't convince Dr. Marshall to just stop the surgery?
Brooke: Because I was with her in here, and I watched her pray and pace and wait and talk about anything except her fear.
Edmund: Then -- then why did the surgery -- why didn't -- why didn't it take longer? Why wasn't I on that table longer?
Brooke: Because you would have been dead, or you would have been a quadriplegic. The doctor couldn't do anything. Edmund, you act like breathing is a consolation prize!
Edmund: It is.
Brooke: Listen, you want to blame somebody for the fact that you're not going to walk for the rest of your life? Blame the man who shot you. Don't blame your wife, not to me, because I watched her in agony while she waited to find out if you were going to be alive or dead.
Edmund: This may be alive to Maria, but this not alive to me.
Brooke: It doesn't make her the enemy, ok? The one reason that she was against the surgery is she wanted you to be able to watch Maddie and Sam grow up.
Edmund: You didn't have any problem with my decision.
Brooke: I was so afraid of the outcome just like she was, but I just -- I got caught up in the passion of you wanting to risk it all and --
Edmund: Why couldn't Maria support me and understand me like that?
Brooke: She loves you. And she'll keep on loving you, because it doesn't matter to her if you can walk or not. What matters to her is that you're here. That's all that matters to any of us, ok? And if you don't know that or you won't accept it, then you're not the man that I know and love.
Simone: You really should cover your mouth when you cough.
Mia: Oh, I'm sorry.
Kendall: Finally, finally. It's about time. I want this place cleaned up now. I want every whiff of Greenlee gone.
Simone: So what happened with Ryan after I left?
Kendall: Oh, he promised me a future together.
Simone: Oh, well, that's great.
Kendall: Yeah, yeah, it's great. He offered the whole package -- kids, house, and Greenlee shoved in my face every single day.
Simone: Oh, well, when you put it like that, it doesn't sound so good.
Kendall: Yeah, no joke. Ryan is totally blind. After what she did to me, to my family, and to us, Ryan chose her.
Mia: Now, I'm confused. There's no wedding?
Kendall: All Ryan had to do was promise that he would never see or speak to Greenlee again, but he couldn't. He refused.
Simone: Oh, well, that's not asking for too much.
Kendall: I needed to know that he loved me, and he couldn't do it. Obviously, Greenlee was more important.
Mia: All or nothing. And I thought I was bad at handling men.
Kendall: You don't have any men.
Mia: Well, neither do you anymore. Look, if you loved him, you would trust him enough not to hand him an ultimatum.
Simone: Yeah, especially when there's a ring involved.
Kendall: Am I doing this alone?
Simone: Look, Ryan is such a standup guy, Kendall. I mean, how can you not trust him?
Kendall: What, I should just sit around all starry-eyed in love while Greenlee goes after him?
Mia: But he wants you.
Kendall: But Ryan left town after Greenlee ripped me apart in court. Excuse me if I have trust issues.
Mia: Ryan loves you, not Greenlee.
Kendall: Now you sound like Ryan.
Mia: Oh, he told you that he wasn't interested in Greenlee?
Kendall: Yeah, of course he did.
Mia: Yeah, and you still threw him out of here?
Kendall: No. He walked out with Greenlee.
Greenlee: Level, Lavery. Why do you want to marry me?
Ryan: Because I want you to get what you deserve, Greenlee. Look, just hear me out. Ok? If you marry me, then you'll be right back where you belong -- at Fusion and on top.
Greenlee: Well, I've got no problem with being on top, but if this whole proposal is just about getting me job security, there's an easier way. Just buy me out of Fusion, Ryan. With cold cash and my smarts, I can start a new company, be on top on my own terms, and you'll be free to do whatever.
Ryan: I understand that you would be very successful, but I know what Fusion means to you, Greenlee, and I won't let you lose that because Kendall snaked it away from you.
Greenlee: Her anti-Greenlee clause embedded in boilerplate was brilliant.
Ryan: Brilliant? It reeked, and I can stop it.
Greenlee: By trotting down the aisle?
Ryan: I signed the papers that revert the Cambias estate back into my name, but I have not filed them with the state or the SEC. Now, if we get married before they're filed, then it becomes community property, and you get half of everything Cambias, which means that Kendall's clause doesn't mean a damn. Now, is that brilliant or what?
Greenlee: Oh, my God. You really are crazy.
Rudy: Seven, eight, cross, open, cross up and down, seven, eight. Step back. Kick! Three, four, five, cross -- watch your arm -- and look! Brava!
Erica: Aha. Better?
Rudy: Charisma and a fast study? Where have you been all my life?
Erica: Working towards this moment.
Rudy: Why do you stand still? Are you famous yet? A star yet?
Erica: No, I'm still a nobody.
Rudy: Then keep dancing.
Erica: Oh, hey. You don't have to babysit me, you know. According to Rudy, I'm this close to being a star.
Bobby: Oh, yeah? And probably even closer to passing out, huh?
Erica: Don't be silly. I've had tougher manicures.
Bobby: I bet you you couldn't name one part of your body that doesn't ache.
Erica: My mind. My mind does not ache, because when Rudy is barking at me or the other girls are gossiping, I just forget everything, and I never thought that would be possible. So now that I've found it, I have got to keep going.
Bobby: Ok, so this is good for your sanity. I'll back you up. But there's got to be an easier way than this. And don't blame me if you blow out a knee, all right? Just remember, I tried talking you out of this whole gig.
Erica: My knees are going to hold up fine, as long as I keep moving.
Bobby: Ok. Well, good. Look, I'm going to head back upstairs again, make sure people are having fun losing money. I'll see you later?
Erica: If the master gives me a break.
Bianca: You know what? This contraption is completely unnecessary. I can walk.
Anita: Well, chill, girl. It's policy.
Bianca: Oh. Wait a minute. Maria?
Bianca: Hi. Anita told me about Edmund. I'm so sorry.
Edmund: You're right. I wanted to blame somebody, Brooke. I wanted to blame anybody. Ahem -- everybody. And I just have to look in the mirror.
Brooke: This is hardly your fault.
Edmund: What the hell was I thinking? I was convinced I was invincible, you know, that this operation was going to work and I was going to walk, I was going to do marathons and take the Jakarta assignment. Edmund Grey, master of the universe. Edmund Grey, idiot. I can't master my own body.
Brooke: Edmund --
Edmund: No, listen, Brooke, I was -- I was wrong to go after Maria. I mean, I know better than anybody how hard this has been for her. I hear her pacing the halls at night, and, you know, I catch her when she's watching me thinking that I'm working. She doesn't have to worry anymore, right? I survived.
Brooke: That's all that ever mattered to Maria.
Edmund: It's not all that matters to me. I've never settled for anything in my life, and I'm not about to start now, Brooke. I just don't know how. Oh! What am I going to do with this body?
Brooke: Being invincible and all, I expect you at "Tempo's" next story meeting -- in two weeks. And you better be up to speed.
Edmund: You're incorrigible.
Brooke: That's a good word. I have to go. I got to put an article to bed.
Edmund: Hey. Thank you, for everything.
Kendall: No, Ryan sealed it when he walked out that door with Greenlee. He swore he loved me, but he chose her.
Simone: But that doesn't mean that he doesn't love you.
Kendall: No, I don't -- I don't even want to be with Ryan, not if he's all over Greenlee.
Mia: Oh --
Simone: No, whatever happened to love conquers all? Can't you let this go?
Kendall: No, I'm not the one who's hanging on to this! She yanked him out of my bed! She lied to me, she harassed me, she double-crossed me! All of this talk about being a team, being a family again. No, no, it's smoke. Greenlee's only in this for one reason -- to take Ryan away from me.
Mary: Or simply take what's rightfully hers.
Greenlee: You'd really give me half your fortune just to make sure I don't lose Fusion?
Ryan: Best couple of billion I ever spent.
Greenlee: This is payback, isn't it? Kendall pushed too hard, so you bust her chops bigtime by making me your bride.
Ryan: I won't let her run my life, Greenlee, or yours.
Greenlee: But this is seriously extreme, even for you.
Ryan: Ok, just listen, listen, ok? If we work side by side, then we can build a partnership and we can storm the business world, just like we talked about.
Greenlee: Well, stop me if I'm wrong, but I brainstormed this idea, and you turned me down, flat.
Ryan: Yeah, that when my total assets were a few quarters and some lint. You had to bankroll the entire operation. Now we can be equal partners.
Greenlee: You're a few billion ahead of me.
Ryan: Yeah, but we're friends, Greenlee. We trust each other, and we respect each other.
Greenlee: You saved my life.
Ryan: And you make mine a hell of a lot more interesting.
Greenlee: We've come a long way since you yanked me out of Kendall's shower.
Ryan: We would make a hell of a team, Greenlee.
Greenlee: Ok, ok, I get the business end, but marriage? I know you think outside the box, but this is way outside.
Ryan: Uh-uh, it makes perfect sense. I mean, either I fight Kendall in court over her clause for, like, the next 10 years, or we just say "jui do" and problem solved.
Greenlee: Last time I checked, marriage was about more than joint portfolios, company holdings, and sharing the corporate jet.
Ryan: Well, you can have your own corporate jet.
Greenlee: Ryan, you know what I mean. There's that crazy little thing called love. Where does that fit in?
Ryan: Brilliant, isn't it?
Greenlee: "Brilliant" is one word that comes to mind.
Ryan: I mean, what's the big deal about love? It just gets in the way. It never sticks. Greenlee, you've been there. You've been there, too. You know that one day your heart's on the block and the next day it's just drawn and quartered.
Greenlee: We've been unlucky.
Ryan: Well, I'll make my own luck, thank you. Love doesn't work for me. I've tried, Greenlee. I've ran the race, I did the hoops, I turned myself inside out, and all I got was shredded.
Greenlee: So this marriage -- it's strictly business, right?
Ryan: Is that ok with you?
Kendall: You and Greenlee putting your heads together to find a new way to gut me?
Mary: My daughter knows what she wants, and she goes for it.
Kendall: Oh. So what's the plan? You going to help her steal Ryan?
Mary: There's nothing to steal. All she has to do is sit back and watch you self-destruct, just like Erica.
Kendall: Don't bring her into this.
Mary: By the way, where is your mother these days? Is she still replanning her nuptials to Jack, or is that sort of a Ben-and-J.Lo kind of thing?
Kendall: Jack is more devoted to Erica than ever.
Mary: Poor Jack, you know. He's just the latest in a long line of Kane casualties. I warned him, and he just wouldn't listen to me.
Kendall: Jack loves Erica.
Mary: You're just like your mother, you know? You use up men and you throw them away and then you blame the whole world because you didn't get what you wanted.
Kendall: Get out. Get out!
Mary: If you've lost Ryan, don't blame Greenlee. Blame yourself. You're the one that pushed him away.
Kendall: Oh, I swear to you, I will call the police right now! And if you or Greenlee ever show your face in Fusion again, I will have you arrested for trespassing!
Kendall: Stupid little woman. Can you believe that woman?
Mia: Well, I never thought I'd be saying these words, but Mary Smythe is totally right.
Opal: Hey there, missy. Let me see. Can I interest you in a romance novel while your hubby's out of town, huh? Oh. Those poor ducks. Boy, they have really been through it, haven't they?
Anita: I don't know where they find the strength.
Opal: God, family, I guess. The only upside to this is when grief brings you closer to your loved ones.
Anita: Hey, Opal, where is Bianca's mom? Why isn't she here to help?
Opal: Oh, Erica is going through a crisis of her own, I'm afraid.
Anita: What could possibly keep her away now?
Opal: Burying her daddy, for one thing.
Anita: Oh, wow, I didn't -- I didn't realize.
Opal: Yeah. Well, nobody did till it was over.
Anita: Were they close?
Opal: No, not really. Which only makes the goodbyes even tougher, you know? I mean, with everything else that's going on in Erica's life right now, I'm just praying to God that she finds a healthy way to deal with her daddy's passing.
Anita: That's why Erica's in Vegas.
Opal: Yeah, well, it ain't for the floorshow, I can tell you that. I'm hoping that Aidan and Tad can just track her down quick, because tough as she is, you know, this is no time for her to be alone.
Anita: If Erica -- if she buried her father, won't she be coming home soon?
Opal: Well, you hope so, but with Erica, you just never can tell where she'll end up.
Erica: Oh, God.
Bobby: Hey. What is it?
Bobby: You're white as a sheet. Your hands are freezing. What's going on?
Erica: You were right. The -- that last move -- my knee -- oh, it's not true. I -- I just -- I had a flash of my daughter.
Bobby: Hence the shell shock.
Erica: Oh, that's a good word for it. I mean, she's just been through so much, and when I think of what she's still going through and -- so, every time I think I've blocked it out, it just comes and slaps me in the face.
Bobby: You thinking of going home?
Erica: Home? Home is on the 15th floor of this hotel. Nowhere to go but up.
Bobby: How much longer do you think you can keep this up?
Erica: Well, I was thinking maybe forever. Bobby, tell me something. Is your wife in Pine Valley? I mean, is that why you were there?
Bobby: She works at the hospital. It was supposed to be temporary.
Erica: It's none of my business.
Bobby: No, no, no, it's -- no, I'll tell you anyway. I mean, ask me anything. Have a seat. Might as well even out the score, since I know a thing or two about you, right?
Erica: Do you speak to your wife at all? I mean, sometimes? Often? At all?
Bobby: Well, you know, if she doesn't look at the Caller ID before she answers. It was a joke. But, no, it does depend on how she's feeling. I, though, you know, I want to talk to her all the time.
Erica: Bianca was at the hospital. Maybe there's a chance that your wife would know something about how she's doing.
Bobby: Well, ok, but the hospital's a big place.
Erica: Look, even if there's the most remote chance, it doesn't matter. Do you think you could find out something? I mean, it couldn't come from me.
Bobby: Consider it done.
Erica: But you can keep me out of it? My name?
Bobby: It's Desiree Dubois, and you've never been to Pennsylvania. And we can do the whole six degrees of separation thing, if that'll make you feel better, and I've got plenty of contacts in Pine Valley. We'll find out one way or another.
Erica: Oh. Thank you. Look, my daughter has had a very traumatic experience, and she's still going through it, and -- well, we've both been through the same hell, actually, but for her, it's been so much worse. It's just gone on and on --
Bobby: Don't worry.
Erica: And so if I could just know that she's healing --
Bobby: Ok, it's done. Ok?
Erica: Thank you. Thanks.
Bianca: I've missed you.
Edmund: Back at you, kid.
Bianca: Is there anything I can do for you?
Edmund: You can tell me how you are.
Bianca: I'm hanging in there.
Edmund: That's a good answer. I want the truth.
Bianca: I miss her. Her name was Miranda.
Edmund: That's a beautiful name.
Bianca: She was really beautiful. You know, I only knew her for a few hours, but she's going to be with me for the rest of my life.
Edmund: That's because you loved her.
Bianca: I remember when it -- I remember how it felt when she was inside me. I always felt so peaceful. You know, everything in the world was crazy. I just knew that somehow everything would work out ok, because we weren't alone. We had each other.
Edmund: It's the buddy system. I like that. How about you and me make a pact, ok? No matter what happens, you got me and I got you. Deal?
Kendall: What did you say?
Simone: Oh, ok, all right. Why don't we just put this place back together?
Kendall: No. No, no, no, no! Come on, Mia, come on!
Simone: No, no, no, it's ok, it's ok!
Kendall: No, come on, Mia! Come on, Mia, let's hear it!
Mia: I said Mary's right. If Ryan ends up with Greenlee, it's because you shoved him there.
Kendall: What the hell do you know about it?
Mia: I know you. It's what you do. You push and you push and you push. You did it with Aidan.
Kendall: Oh. Oh, ok, that's what this is all about. You're peeved because you couldn't hang on to Aidan.
Mia: And you did it with Boyd. It's like love is some sort of test for you. Pass or fail, true or false. And the kicker of the whole thing is it's rigged from the start. There is no right answer.
Kendall: Wait -- why are you making this out to be my fault?
Mia: Because -- because it is.
Kendall: Oh, ok, and Greenlee's just a little innocent bystander?
Mia: Who cares what Greenlee is, ok? Who cares? Who cares if she's got a new attack plan or a new little dress or a purse full of mints? Ryan loves you. And you're losing him as we speak. So the question is, are you going to do something about it before it's too late?
Greenlee: The marriage based only on business? Hmm. We'd be all about the bottom line, projected earnings, profit and loss.
Ryan: You got a problem with that? Because if you do, I would understand.
Greenlee: Why would I? Didn't I tell you in that gnarly motel room that romance would just ruin our friendship?
Ryan: Smartest thing you ever said.
Greenlee: Well, you're not the only genius around here.
Ryan: You see? We're in sync, Greenlee. We want the same thing, and we'll get it together.
Greenlee: Merger of the century.
Ryan: That's what I'm saying. No more love as a weapon of mass destruction. No more tests or ultimatums or dancing on the edge of cliffs.
Greenlee: I prefer terra firma.
Ryan: Exactly. Exactly. We know where we stand, Greenlee, and we say what we mean and we mean what we say and everybody is happy. Nobody gets mutilated because you have to love somebody to hurt them. Am I right?
Greenlee: Right. Unless you break into my chocolate stash, we're good.
Ryan: So what do you think? Do you want to give this partnership a shot?
Edmund: Come here.
Maria: What is it? Edmund?
Edmund: You feel so great. And you were right. It's good to be alive.
Jack: Here you go. Here are your walking papers.
Bianca: Oh, yeah, not that you'd know with this thing. Thank you. Uncle Jack, let's get out of here.
Jack: You got it.
Jack: We're on our way. Oh, good timing.
Rudy: Andiamo. Subito, cara mia. Places, new girl. Out on the stage. I'm going to make you a legend if I have to tear both your hamstrings to do it. Let's take it from the top!
Bobby: See that the winner of the last pot gets a bottle of champagne, all right? Ok.
Dealer: Place your bets, please.
Greenlee: If we go ahead with this marriage -- or should I say merger? -- And it's big whooping if -- when exactly do you want to tie the knot?
Ryan: You busy tonight?
Ryan: Why not? Why would we wait? We can go over to Elk Green. We could get a justice of the peace --
Greenlee: Elk Green? They have plastic flowers.
Ryan: I know, Greenlee, but we could be married by morning. Come on! Let's do it! Let's elope tonight!
>> On the next "All My Children" --
David: You're using me to stick it to Tad.
Krystal: Well, then, we have the same agenda, huh?
J.R.: Go out there, find Ryan, tell him that you want to marry him.
Ryan: The next time you see this place, you'll be Mrs. Ryan Lavery.
