Ryan: Good morning, my partners in crime!

Aidan: Oh, man, do you have to be so bloody energetic in the morning?

Ryan: Oh. Wow, I guess the party really kicked into gear last night after I left, huh?

Aidan: Where did you get off to, anyway?

Tad: Judging by the obnoxious glint in his eye, I'd say that he either got a good night's sleep or he was lucky in love.

Kendall: What do you mean, Bianca took Bess?

Anita: Bianca showed up here after midnight. She said that she couldn't sleep, that she wanted to hold the Chandler baby. It just -- it seemed to give her so much comfort.

Kendall: Well, that's a long way from disappearing with the baby. I mean, nobody knows where she took her?

Anita: No, if I had any indication that she would take the baby, I --

J.R.: Hey. Whoa. Something's wrong. It's not Babe, is it? Did she have a relapse?

Krystal: Here you go, just like a magazine cover.

Babe: Thank you, Mama. Hmm. Look a little bit better than I did when they brought me in here.

Krystal: Well, what do I always say -- "A little love --"

Babe and Krystal: "And the right shade of lipstick can turn your whole day around."

Krystal: Now all we need is Bess and your hubby, and I'll take your first family portrait.

Babe: It's still kind of early. Bess could still be sleeping.

Krystal: Oh, babies don't know early or late. Besides, she's probably wide awake, waiting for her mama to come pick her up.

Bianca: Mom? Are you home? Mom, I know it's early, but I have someone here I want you to meet -- my sweet Miranda.

Greenlee: What took you so long? Well?

J.R.: Look, somebody better tell me what's going on.

Kendall: Ok, I don't really know how to begin this. Um -- J.R., it's Bianca.

J.R.: My God, what? Is she all right?

Kendall: Well, we think she's -- she's fine.

J.R.: What does that mean?

Anita: Bianca showed up at the nursery. She wanted to see her little girl, to hold her.

J.R.: Oh. That's fine. I got no problem with that. I think Babe would agree that, you know, whatever helps to, you know, help Bianca deal.

Kendall: Well, holding Bess wasn't the only thing Bianca did.

J.R.: Kendall, where is she?

Kendall: We think Bianca took her.

J.R.: You think? Where? I mean, somewhere in the hospital, right?

Joe: We have searched every inch of the place. There's not a sign of her.

J.R.: Oh, my -- this is impossible!

Joe: One of the custodians remembers seeing a woman answering to Bianca's description heading to the north loading dock. Apparently, it was left unlocked.

Kendall: Ok, well, did she have a baby with her?

J.R.: No, no, no, this is crazy. How does a patient walk out with a baby in her arms in the middle of the night and there's nobody there to stop her?

Anita: Some floors have open visiting hours, like ICU. It's not unusual for nonstaff to come and go.

Joe: I've instructed security to interview everyone on the night shift, so we will find out what happened.

J.R.: Do you have any idea where she went?

Kendall: Well, she couldn't go very far. She doesn't have a car.

Joe: I think it's time to notify the police.

Kendall: No, please, Joe, please don't call the police. It'll just scare Bianca to death. Please, don't. J.R., listen to me -- listen, honey, ok -- Bianca would never hurt your baby, ok? She loves you guys like you're family. Just give us a little more time to find her, please.

J.R.: I've got to go find Babe. She's got to be going out of her mind.

Anita: Babe doesn't know yet. She was sleeping. We were hoping we would find Bianca and your baby right away.

J.R.: Then I'd better tell my wife myself. Just -- find Bianca.

Bianca: There you go. Now we're both much more comfortable. I just hope Coral doesn't flip out when she sees that I used her laundry basket for you. Of course, she won't mind at all, and you're a perfect little fit. And it's a nice little temporary bed for you, too, if I do say so myself. Sweetie, I just wish my mom were home to meet you. She'll be home soon, don't you worry. Not that we're in any kind of rush at all. Hmm, come here. We have all the time in the world.

[Baby grunts]

Bianca: Shh, shh, shh, shh. She's going to look at your little face, and she'll know right away what I know, which is that you are our family's little miracle. Shh. It's ok, sweetie.

[Baby cries]

Bianca: Don't cry. You're the reason that we can let go of all the terrible things that happened in the past. Gosh. That's a lot of power for such a little person. I just know as soon as she looks at you she's going to fall so in love with you that she is going to absolutely insist that we move in here until our house is ready. But you can't sleep in a laundry basket till then, not when I got all that great stuff for you online, and it's all just waiting to be delivered. I think that you might just be the luckiest little girl in the world.

Ryan: Look, I haven't felt lucky in a while, guys, so don't go making assumptions about last night, ok?

Tad: Aw, boopy, come to Papa.

Ryan: Does this look like the face of self-pity, huh?

Tad: All right, so where did you disappear to last night?

Ryan: I thought we were here to find Erica Kane. That's sort of what I figured was going on here. So where are we? What do we know?

Aidan: Erica Kane went to Vegas on Palmer Cortlandt’s jet.

Ryan: Really, Vegas? That is a good place to lose yourself, I guess.

Aidan: Even someone as high-profile as Erica Kane.

Tad: Well, she might be trying to hide in plain sight. Ergo, you should use some of your well-placed contacts there, Mr. Lavery.

Ryan: My contact was Alexander Cambias. He's not much good to anybody anymore.

[Phone rings]

Ryan: Hello?

Kendall: Ryan, hey, it's me. Listen, I need your help -- now.

Greenlee: Reggie, I'm not kidding, you open this door right now! I'm not leaving until you do! This isn't funny! Next time you slam the door in my face -- there won't be a next time.

Reggie: I wouldn't have to if you didn't come banging around here, waking people up in the wee hours of the morning.

Greenlee: Have a cup of coffee, you'll get over it. So, where's little miss diva?

Reggie: She's in Jack’s bed, sleeping, thanks to you.

Greenlee: Yes.

Reggie: Well, I'm glad you're so happy, Greenpea, because you're the only one who is.

Greenlee: You don't understand -- I was up all night thinking about what Jack would've done if he had come in here and caught you hooking up.

Reggie: Hooray! High-fives all around.

Greenlee: In your dreams, Reggie.

[Reggie sighs]

Greenlee: He wouldn't have left you alone, which I did. You swear nothing happened?

Reggie: Look at my face, all right? I do not look like a happy camper right now.

Greenlee: Fantastic. So maybe I'll get my big-sister badge anyway.

Reggie: No, but you lose big points with me, Greenlee. You stuck your nose in places it didn't belong.

Danielle: Hey, can you two keep it down? I'm trying to sleep. That's better.

Greenlee: Excuse me? Did she just tell me to shut up?

Reggie: Oh, what, Greenlee, you think you're the only diva in the house?

Greenlee: It's that attitude from that little girl that should make you happy that nothing happened last night.

Reggie: I'm thrilled. Can't you tell?

Greenlee: I mean it, Reggie. You don't know anything about her except that she's taking a free ride at your expense.

Reggie: She's not taking anything.

Greenlee: She doesn't have to. You're laying it at her feet!

Reggie: I'm just helping out a good friend.

Greenlee: What's your good friend's last name? Huh? A few facts would be nice. Find out something about her, anything. Her parents would probably appreciate a phone call letting them know their daughter is alive.

Reggie: No! I'm not sending her back into that hellhole. You can threaten me all you want. It's not going to happen.

Lena: No, no, I'm sure everything's fine. Listen, if you do see her, please, she has my number. Thank you, yes. Oh. Oh, God. Idiot! Stupid idiot! What's the matter with me? How could I fall asleep? How could I let this happen? God!

Maggie: Yeah, that's what I'd like to know. You were supposed to look after Bianca.

Lena: Maggie, please, don't start with me.

Maggie: No, you said that I didn't have to be here. You said that you had it covered. You promised me, and I trusted you, Lena.

Lena: Not now. I -- I have to find Bianca.

Maggie: Do you have any idea what you've done?

Bianca: Yes, as soon as possible. We need everything. Thank you. We are care of Erica Kane in the penthouse of the Enchantment Building. That's 1100 Main Street in Pine Valley. Oh, yeah, all of it -- changing table, crib. We need the works. Thank you. Thank you so much. Goodbye. All right. We're in business. Wait till Mom sees her penthouse turned into a nursery. Oh, whatever. It's only temporary, until we can get out own house in order. How does that sound to you, little Miranda? Does that sound like a plan? Come here. Oh, yes. It's going to be a lot of fun. I wonder if little Bess has gone home with Babe yet. Hmm?

[Baby fusses]

Bianca: I hope she's having as much fun with her as I'm having with you.

Babe: Oh, you're the best at brushing my hair. Nobody does it as gentle as you do.

Krystal: Hmm.

Babe: You know, that's what Bianca said she was looking forward to most with her baby -- being able to brush her hair. Isn't that sweet? Hmm. I wonder if she's done it yet. Well, not that there's really much anything there. Just a bunch of little peach fuzz on those sweet little heads. But still, it's cute. J.R., I thought you never were going to make it.

Krystal: Oh, hey, J.R. I was just telling Babe you couldn't get into this room without stopping by and seeing that sweet angel. Was I right?

J.R.: Yeah. Hey, you look beautiful.

Babe: Hey. Thank you. Mama did it.

Krystal: Well, it's hard to improve on perfection.

J.R.: I missed you, Babe.

Babe: I missed you so much. Maybe they'll let you stay the night with me tonight.

Krystal: Well, I would tell you two lovebirds to get a room, but since you've already got one, maybe I will just amscray.

J.R.: Oh, no, no, it's ok. Don't go, really.

Babe: No, Mama, don't listen to him. If I want to spend five minutes alone with the man that I love, I'm not going to stop you.

Krystal: Well, I never was one to stand in the way of romance. Bye.

J.R.: Bye. How you feeling?

Babe: Great, I guess. I mean, the fever's down, and then all the tests are coming back with good numbers -- not that I even understand what they mean, but the doctors seem to be happy, so we should just be grateful.

J.R.: Oh, I am grateful. You had me going there.

Babe: So did you see Bess on the way in? Well, she should be awake by now. Hey, you ok?

J.R.: Babe -- so much has happened when you were sick. There's a lot that you don't know about.

Babe: J.R., you're acting really weird. What's going on? Why didn't you bring Bess with you?

J.R.: There's something you need to know. Bianca went to the nursery last night to see Bess.

Babe: Bianca can see Bess whenever she wants. I mean, that's ok with you, isn't it?

J.R.: She didn't just -- she took her.

Babe: Ow! Kind of squeezing too hard. I don't understand what you're saying.

J.R.: She took Bess, Babe. Bianca and Bess are both gone.

Greenlee: Well, it's not your job to take care of Danielle. She's got to deal with her own problems.

Reggie: She is dealing with them.

Greenlee: Running away is not dealing, trust me. If you let Jack know, I'm sure he would help you. He'd look into her story.

Reggie: It's not a story! Look, here's a clue -- mind your own business, and I'll do the same, ok?

Greenlee: Great. Fine. Then you can explain to Jack how you're harboring a runaway in his home.

Reggie: I will, if I have to. Now, please, get off my case.

Greenlee: Ok. I give up.

Reggie: Thank you so much! Now you get the idea.

[Knock on door]

Reggie: You never could take no for an answer, could you? No, not Greenlee. Couldn't -- oh, Ms. Frye. I thought you were -- never mind, never mind. What's going on?

Livia: Good morning, Reggie. I hope I'm not disturbing anybody.

Reggie: Oh, no. Unfortunately, I was already up.

Livia: Well, I wanted to see Jackson.

Reggie: Oh, well, he's out of town. Oh. Oh! You want to come in or something?

Livia: Yeah.

Reggie: Ok.

Livia: I will just put this down.

Reggie: All right.

Livia: I didn't talk to Jack, but I knew he was going through a rough spot, and I know he loves my cooking, so I made this lasagna.

Reggie: Ok.

Livia: Three cheeses. It's -- mmm.

Reggie: Oh, that sounds so good. I mean, I think that might be able to get me out of my cheeseburger-and-fry rut. Sounds good.

Livia: Yeah, sure. Well, whatever you don't eat you freeze for your dad, and just let him know that I came by.

Reggie: Oh, you can count on that.

Livia: Reggie, are you ok here all by yourself?

Reggie: Oh, yes, I'm fine.

Livia: You need anything from me?

Reggie: No, no, no, no. I mean, Jack pretty much trusts me to run things smoothly around here. I'm, like --

Danielle: What part of "keep it down" don't you guys understand? Aunt Livia?

Livia: Good morning, Danielle.

Reggie: Wait. She's your -- that's your -- oh, my God.

Livia: I can't wait to hear your explanation, Danielle Stephanie Frye, and I'm sure your father will be even more fascinated by it.

Reggie: Wait -- Frye? Wait, as in Derek Frye? Your father's the chief of police?

Tad: How are they?

Krystal: Well, they're looking pretty cozy, don't you think? Oh, I bet you came by to see our baby, huh? You never could resist a pretty face. I'll walk with you. I was just going to the nursery.

Tad: Krystal!

Babe: That's ridiculous. If Bianca wanted to take a baby, it would be her own, not ours.

J.R.: She couldn't. She couldn't take Miranda. So much has happened while you were sick, and I didn't -- I didn't want you to find out like this.

Babe: J.R., you're being weird. Something is going on, and I need to know. Is it Bianca?

J.R.: Not exactly.

Babe: Well, then what? Oh, God. It's Miranda. Something's wrong with Miranda.

Bianca: Hey, Miranda, do you see her? Do you see that woman? That's Erica Kane, my mother. The most beautiful woman in the world. Hey, you know, you look like her. You have her chin. Wow. I never noticed that before. You look exactly like her.

[Baby groans]

Bianca: You are a Kane woman, through and through. Now, this other beauty is your Auntie Kendall, who has turned out to be the most incredible, remarkable, astonishing human being. And she loves you so much already, you wouldn't even believe it. And that is your Uncle Jack. He's the guy that you want in your corner whenever you're in a pinch. He's the greatest guy I know. And this special lady is your great-grandmother, Mona. I bet you didn't know that you're named for her. Miranda Mona. I wanted you to have her name because she's so special to me. And when I was a little girl, whenever I wanted to feel safe, I would go to my grandma, and she would wrap her arms around me, and I would know that everything was going to be ok. And even though she's not here now, I know that she's with you, keeping you safe. And I'm absolutely certain that she's looking down on us right now.

[Doorbell rings]

Bianca: Oh. Miranda, I think you have a visitor.

Ryan: Aidan's checking with the cab companies. You know, it's not going to be too tough to remember a woman and a baby in the middle of the night. So if she did take a taxi from here, we'll be able to find out where they let her off.

Kendall: Thank you.

Ryan: Ok, and Tad's making calls, we've all made calls. Everybody's on it. The word is out.

Kendall: Yeah, Lena and Maggie called some of Bianca's friends from school.

Ryan: Oh, good. That's good.

Kendall: Ryan, I'm really scared. We're all assuming that Bianca took Bess because she just misses her own baby so much.

Ryan: Well, I -- I think that's a reasonable assumption.

Kendall: Yeah, but what if we're wrong? What if we're wrong? What if Bianca -- what if Bianca took Bess because she actually believes that it's her little Miranda?

Ryan: Kendall, that's -- that's a hell of a leap.

Kendall: No, think about everything my sister has gone through. When does a person reach their breaking point?

Ryan: You know what you're saying?

Kendall: Before Miranda was even born, I used to wonder how Bianca could stay so strong and so together when the rest of us were just falling apart.

Ryan: Because -- because that's who your sister is.

Kendall: No. Ryan, what if this time is too far? What if she's too far gone? Losing her baby could be the one thing that just put her right over the edge. That's what I'm afraid of. I'm afraid that -- I'm afraid that Bianca's mind just shattered into pieces.

Kendall: I mean, if Bianca really, truly thought that this was her baby -- oh, God. Oh, God. Ryan, no, we have to go to the airport. We have to check the airport. Yes!

Ryan: Kendall, she would need ID and she would need money and --

Kendall: No, no, no, no. Bianca -- when her pregnancy was still a secret, she was going to run away and she was going to raise the baby someplace else. So maybe in her mind, maybe she's still going through with those plans, especially if she senses that there's something wrong, that there's a threat to her and the baby.

Ryan: Hey, hey, hey, I will not let you talk yourself in this, ok? I guarantee that Bianca has not left the country. She left here in her nightgown, all right, and she hasn't been to her apartment and the stores are just opening now. Believe me, if she tried to check into an airport or a train station or something, they would notice her.

Kendall: Oh, God, Ryan, I wish you were right.

Ryan: I am. Soon, Bianca is going to realize what she's done and she's going to walk back into this hospital with the baby in her arms. Hey, hey, hey, hey, look at me. We're going to find them, all right, safe and well. You have to believe that.

Kendall: I want to.

Joe: Anita, you allowed this to happen. You're a professional. You violated policy.

Anita: I know.

Joe: Yeah, you let your heart rule your head. You placed three patients in jeopardy.

Anita: I cannot tell you how sorry I am. It will never, ever happen again.

Joe: I can't just let this go. I'm going to have to recommend disciplinary action. We'll let you know what we decide.

Anita: Yes, sir. Whatever you say.

Lena: I fell asleep, ok? I didn't mean to. It's just she finally settled down and she looked so peaceful and it was so dark and quiet, and somewhere in my mind I must have thought that I could just close my eyes for just a moment. You can blame me all you want, but I would never intentionally do anything to hurt Bianca.

Maggie: I know. I know. I'm sorry. This isn't supposed to be happening, ok, because she shouldn't have lost her baby. She must have been in a lot of pain if the only thing that could make it better was to take someone else's baby.

Lena: We have to figure out what happened last night, what pushed her over the line, what made her take Bess.

Maggie: Lena, it didn't happen last night. It happened the moment she was told that her baby was dead.

Babe: What are you keeping from me? Why won't you just tell me?

J.R.: We didn't want to upset you. You were so sick, and I couldn't hurt you like that.

Babe: Stop it, J.R., you're scaring me.

J.R.: Miranda didn't make it. Bianca's baby didn't survive, Babe.

Babe: You're wrong. You weren't even there. It was -- I was there. I delivered the baby and she was perfect. She was fine!

J.R.: Well, when the helicopter crashed, one of the incubators was thrown from the chopper, and Miranda was in that incubator.

Paul's voice: Ok, your baby's incubator went in the river, all right? I'm sorry! Your baby's gone!

Babe: I -- I don't believe it. It's a mistake. Somebody's made a mistake.

J.R.: I'm sorry, Babe.

Babe: No, J.R., you listen to me -- I was there, and I delivered that baby and I cut her cord and I -- I cleaned out her mouth and her precious little eyes and I put her in Bianca's arms.

J.R.: You did everything right.

Babe: I brought that baby into this world. She was as alive as you and me. So don't you dare tell me that she's dead. Don't you tell me that! Miranda can't be gone.

Bianca: So you remembered the diapers and the baby wipes?

Man: And baby lotion.

Bianca: Oh. That's great. Thank you.

Man: Anything for Miss Kane and her girls.

Bianca: Oh, so sweet. Have a great day. And thank you again. Did you hear that, Miranda? "Miss Kane and her girls"?

[Baby cries]

Bianca: Aw, shh, sweetie. That's you. You're a Kane woman already.

Bianca: Shh, don't cry, don't cry. Don't cry. Come here. Yeah, sweetheart. No. You proved that when you survived that crash. Aw, shh. You know, you had everybody fooled. They all thought that -- that you were gone. Of course, I knew the truth the whole time. I mean, after all, a mother does have special instincts, and I always knew you were alive. And all I had to do was wait for you to cry out for me, and then I would know where you were. So, Miranda sweetheart, this is my solemn promise to you -- now that we're back together again, nothing, no one is ever going to keep us apart.

Livia: What are you thinking? How long did you think you were going to get away with this?

Danielle: I'm sorry, Aunt Livia, I just --

Livia: What, you thought you could just hide out and never get caught inside the DA's loft? Or was this your idea? You thought you could harbor somebody while your daddy's away, thought you'd just really stick it to Chief Frye good, huh?

Reggie: I didn't know her father was the chief of police. I didn't have a clue!

Danielle: I can really explain all of this.

Livia: Oh, yeah, you're going to do some explaining -- to your mama from your daddy's house. Now, you just get some clothes on.

Danielle: I'm really sorry about this.

Kendall: I want to believe you, Ryan, with everything that I am, everything in my heart. I want to think that you're right.

Ryan: But every time you let yourself believe, you get burned.

Kendall: I got to go. I can't be here anymore. I have to drive around, look for her, something.

Ryan: Ok, that's fine. I understand. You go, all right, but keep your cell phone on. If anything changes here at all, I will call you.

Kendall: Ok. Thank you. Ryan --

Ryan: It's ok. You're welcome.

Anita: Maria, it's me. Listen, there's something I have to tell you. I don't want you to hear it from anybody else. I -- um -- I did something. I don't want you to worry. I mean, I think it's fine. No, it's not fine. I mean, it's handled. I mean, I think it'll be fine when -- you know what -- just call me. I'll fill you in. Love you. Did you hear that?

Aidan: Some of it.

Anita: Like my sister doesn't have enough on her plate without me rambling like a fool.

Aidan: Are you doing all right?

Anita: This is not one of my better days.

Aidan: Wow, and it's still early. You know, you couldn't have possibly known what Bianca was going to do.

Anita: Yeah, but I should've paid closer attention. You know, I thought I could help a woman in pain, a mother, and instead I -- I've made things worse.

Aidan: Listen, you can't keep all this weight on your shoulders. We'll fix it.

Anita: How?

Aidan: That's what we do. Me and my mates will find Bianca and we'll find Bess. You can count on it.

Anita: Oh, God, I like the sound of that.

Aidan: Look, just don't worry.

Krystal: We have to find them.

Tad: We're all over it. We'll find the baby, I swear.

Krystal: Oh, Lord. No wonder J.R. looked so strange when he walked in that room. It was like -- he's got to tell Babe. She still doesn't know about Miranda yet.

Tad: He's her husband. He loves her. He'll know what to do.

Krystal: Oh, God. This is just going to knock Babe down so hard. When she finds out that Bianca lost her baby and that her best friend has gone and taken Bess God knows where, how's she going to handle that? How can any mother handle that?

J.R.: I'm sorry, Babe, I was waiting for the right time to tell you about Miranda.

Babe: I can't believe that baby -- Bianca just must be --

J.R.: She is. That's why we think that she has Bess.

Babe: And you're sure that Bess is with her? I mean, there's -- there's no way that somebody else --

J.R.: No, no. She went to the nursery, the nurses were called away, and somebody saw her leave the hospital with our baby.

Babe: She -- she would never hurt her. She just misses her own little girl.

J.R.: Yeah.

Babe: God. Our girls, they were supposed to grow up together and -- and have play dates and sleepovers. God. Double dates for the prom. Be best friends and rule the world, just like their mamas.

J.R.: You're still Bianca's best friend.

Babe: I know. And she needs me. They both need me. I just got to find them.

J.R.: Hey, wait a minute, wait, wait, wait. Hey, no. You're not strong enough yet.

Babe: J.R., I have to find my baby.

J.R.: Listen to me -- everybody knows that Bianca wouldn't do anything to hurt Bess.

Babe: Of course not. Bianca's going to take care of Bess like she's her own. Not that that even matters. Look, J.R., I will help Bianca get through this, I really will, but right now my baby needs to be back with her own mama.

J.R.: All right. All right, you stay here in bed. I'm going to call the police.

Babe: J.R., no, if you do that, I will never speak to you again.

Livia: Suppose you tell me what you were thinking, Reggie.

Reggie: I didn't know who she was. You know, I didn't have a clue.

Livia: You knew she was a runaway. You decided to harbor a runaway in your father's loft while he was out of town.

Reggie: Look, well, she decided to take advantage of me.

Livia: Reggie, what possible reason could she give you to justify this?

Reggie: I don't know, why don't you ask her, ok? I'm through with this.

Livia: I'm going to get some answers, and what answers I don't get her father's going to get. And if he suspects that she has been in the slightest bit of danger --

Reggie: Danger? From who, me? I don't think so!

Livia: This is just the beginning. Let's go.

Danielle: Reggie --

Reggie: I'm not the dangerous person around here. Not me.

Greenlee: What's going on?

Reggie: You see this face? You look up "played for a fool" in the dictionary, you'll see a picture of my face.

Greenlee: Want to talk about it?

Reggie: Why, so you can rub this in my face, tell me you told me so? I don't think so.

Greenlee: Hey, I know what it's like.

[Knock on door]

Reggie: Great. It's probably her father.

Kendall: Oh, Reggie, thank God. Please tell me that you've heard from Bianca.

Reggie: Bianca? Uh-uh.

Kendall: Well, do you think Jack has heard from her?

Reggie: No. Kendall, tell me what's going on. Isn't Bianca supposed to be at the hospital?

J.R.: What Bianca did was wrong, Babe.

Babe: I know. But it's a mistake and she's -- she's just not thinking clearly. I mean, she's going to figure everything out and everything's going to be straight and she's going to bring our Bess back. You know she will, J.R. She has to.

Bianca: Everyone knew that Princess Miranda was the most beautiful princess in all the land. But they had no idea how fearless she was. She's strong and brave and she knew how to make wishes. Hmm. So that day, when she got lost in the forest, she wasn't afraid at all. And when the scary, mean dragon came and tried to -- tried to frighten her, she looked him right in the eye and she said, "Go away, you dragon." But he wouldn't leave. So Miranda knew just what to do. She found a very safe place to hide, where no one could find her unless she wanted them to. And that's when she made her wish. Do you know what she wished for? She wished for her mommy to come and rescue her. And in the blink of an eye, Mommy, who also happened to be the queen of the entire realm, appeared before the beautiful Princess Miranda and saved her from that nasty, horrible dragon and all the other creepy creatures of the forest. And then they went someplace where no dragon could ever go and they lived there forever, happily ever after.

Krystal: Anything?

Tad: Nothing.

Krystal: What are we going to do now, Tad? What if that poor girl has just lost her grip with reality? What if she's decided to take that baby and -- and go someplace where we can never find them?

Tad: I'm sorry, Krystal, I don't have any answers.

Krystal: I mean, for all we know, Bianca may not even realize that it's Bess that's she's taken. She may be so far gone with grief that she thinks that's her own baby!

Tad: What if it is?

>> On the next "All My Children" --

Ryan: Do you really want to be the one who pushes Bianca over the edge?

Greenlee: If what I did made Bianca take that baby, just say so.

Tad: How can we really be sure that Bianca's baby is the one who didn't survive when all we've got is Paul Cramer's word for it?
