(Missing first few seconds, will be up later)
Anita: Aidan. It's great to see you.
Aidan: Same here. Is this your floor?
Anita: No. We're going up. How about you? There's plenty of room.
Aidan: Hope Iím not crashing a date.
Anita: No, we're transferring him to another floor. Tonsillectomy.
Aidan: Oh. Did you win the lottery?
Anita: Maybe -- the love lottery.
Kendall: Ryan, did I really hurt you that badly when I thought that you and Greenlee teamed up against me?
Ryan: Well, I packed up my life and I rode out of town. What do you think?
Kendall: I don't know. I don't know. Ryan, please tell me.
Ryan: It hurt like hell.
Bianca: Did you hear that? That's her. That's Miranda. Can you hear her, Greenlee? I know I heard her. I know that's her. She's out there somewhere. Tell me you heard her, too. Please, Greenlee, you have to believe me.
Greenlee: I believe you, Bianca.
J.R.: Babe, what's wrong?
Babe: I've never been away from my baby.
Babe: Oh, honey. Oh. Shh.
J.R.: Babe, honey, what's the matter? Is there something wrong with the baby?
Babe: My dreamboat -- I -- I thought I had a boy.
Anita: I don't want to jinx anything, but Bobby seems really sorry. I think he's really going to --
Anita: I'm sorry. Like you should care.
Aidan: I always say that it's great to work things through.
Anita: And there's a sucker born every minute?
Aidan: Excuse me.
Anita: Do you always say that, too?
Aidan: No, it's not that. It's just that I think --
Anita: You think I'm wrong, don't you? That I shouldn't give Bobby another chance. Is that it? Once a cheater, always a cheater, right?
Aidan: Anita, what I was going to say was --
Anita: Yeah, but that's what you're thinking. Isn't it? I mean, you can tell me. I can handle it.
Aidan: No, am I the one that thinks that you made a mistake, or are you?
Anita: Ok, it's sudden. I know that. I mean, I don't want to make another mistake. I mean, what makes me think I can trust him again, right?
Aidan: Look, I don't really know you or Bobby, but that's not what --
Anita: You know what? I'll take it slow until I'm absolutely, positively sure that it's right -- for both of us -- me and Bobby, I mean.
Aidan: I'm not a marriage counselor, Anita.
Anita: You're not much with elevators, either. What's going on?
Aidan: That's what I've been trying to tell you. I think this elevator's stuck.
Anita: What? No, we can't be stuck. I have a patient.
Aidan: Him? He's sleeping like a lamb. He's not going to wake up till breakfast.
Boy: Where am I?
Aidan: I guessed wrong.
Bianca: You heard her, too. Ok, all right, then we have to find her. She's out there somewhere, and she's -- and she's cold and she's all alone --
Greenlee: Bianca, wait, ok? Wait.
Bianca: No, no, Greenlee, Greenlee, I know I heard her. I know it was her. I can recognize Mirandaís cry.
Greenlee: After Leo died, I used to go to the falls all the time. That's where I lost him. So I was sure that I would find him there again. He was the love of my life. How could he be gone? I had no proof that he was dead. And my heart said that he was alive and that he needed me as much as I needed him. So Iíd go on the rocks, and I would sit, and I would wait to hear his voice, to see him. And I did. Bianca, I did hear him. He would say my name, and I swear that he was laughing at how silly I was. And for a while there, I thought that it was really him playing one of his jokes. But then I realized that the voice I loved so much -- it was coming from inside me, inside my heart. I finally understood that Leo was gone. And he was never coming back to me, no matter how much I loved him. I know how hard it is to accept that Miranda is gone. I know --
Bianca: No, no. Greenlee, it's not the same thing, ok? I can hear her. Greenlee, I can hear her voice, and she's crying out for me, and she's hungry and she's cold and she's out there somewhere, and I need to find her! So are you coming with me or aren't you?
Greenlee: Bianca, they found her incubator --
Greenlee: In the river.
Bianca: No -- no.
J.R.: A boy? You had a little girl.
Babe: I don't understand. Everything -- it's so fuzzy.
J.R.: I promise, we had a daughter. And there's the naked little baby to prove it. Yeah, I think I know what's going on. When you were pregnant, you thought that you were having a boy, remember? And when you were having the baby in the middle of nowhere, in the storm, and you were sick for so long, there's no wonder you were confused. But that doesn't matter now. All that matters is that we have a beautiful little girl.
Paul's voice: You had a girl.
J.R.: Yeah. That's better.
Babe: I remember everything now, J.R. It's all so clear. How could I ever forget? I had a girl. Come here. A beautiful little girl. Yes.
Kendall: It was right in front of my eyes. Why didn't I just see it?
Ryan: You were preoccupied.
Kendall: I was -- I was torn apart. Erica, of all people -- she told me that I get so caught up in my own pain that I can't get past it, that I'm so afraid of getting hurt that I -- I hit first.
Ryan: Kill or be killed.
Kendall: And I don't stop. I should come with a warning. How could anyone put up with that kind of abuse, right?
Ryan: Well, a masochist might get a kick out of it.
Kendall: You know any of those?
Ryan: No, not my crowd, not anymore.
Kendall: Well, I guess that Erica was right about me, and I was wrong about you.
Ryan: So we both bled. What are you trying to say?
Kendall: No, it's me. It's the hospital. Hello.
Lena: Kendall, hi. It's Lena. I've just come back to Biancaís room. She's not here.
Kendall: Well, maybe she went for some tests.
Lena: No, no, I checked. She's not scheduled for any. And the nurses can't locate her either.
Kendall: We'll be right there. Bianca -- they can't find Bianca. She's out of her room. No one knows where she is.
Ryan: All right, let's go.
Bianca: The river.
Greenlee: I know how much you miss Miranda and how much you love her. But she's gone. She's gone.
Bianca: I just -- I don't want her to be alone.
Greenlee: Bianca, I want you to have this. Go on. Take it. Leo gave it to me.
Bianca: Are you sure?
Greenlee: Now you'll know that Mirandaís not alone. She's with Leo.
Babe: I think I got this down. What do you think?
J.R.: You're a pro.
Babe: Yeah, who thought her little girl was a boy.
J.R.: Oh, that's all right. We'll have a boy next time.
Babe: Well, you need to stop right there, because I think one little angel is enough -- for now. You know, for a while there I really did think we were going to have a little boy. But then Bianca and I -- we got to talking about how much fun it would be if we both had little girls, that they'd be best friends like their mamas. Gosh, can you even believe that it happened and for the fact of them to have the same birthdays? We are going to have to have one big blowout birthday party every single year. I bet you and Miranda -- you two are already telling secrets and making plans, aren't you? Let's go.
Babe: To the nursery. I haven't seen Miranda yet, and we had one heck of an entrance, so I figure it's about time I get to know her.
J.R.: You canít.
Babe: I know I may look a little ragged and all, but I promise I won't scare the babies.
J.R.: No -- I don't think it's about scaring the babies. I just don't -- I don't think you're strong enough.
Babe: J.R., I have waited long enough, and I feel just fine. Oh, whoa. Ooh, who tilted the room?
J.R.: Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm talking about. You need your rest so you can get some strength.
Babe: Oh --
J.R.: I'll take Bess back to the nursery.
Babe: Oh, no, no, no, no, no. Not yet. I just want to hold her just a little while longer, like forever. Can you believe that she's really ours? She's just so perfect. She's just too good to be true. Oh, look. She has her grandma Krystalís lips.
Babe: Yes, you do.
Tad: Come back here. This is not a joke, ok? I'm not kidding. You don't know what he's capable of, especially with women.
Krystal: I'm not complaining so far.
Tad: Krystal, the man brews illegal substances as a hobby, ok? He takes away people's memories. He removes their inhibitions. Turned an entire yacht full of adult people into a pack of sexual animals.
Krystal: So Hayward makes his private label of mickeys and slips them into the bridge mix. I'm going to go to that party.
Tad: It wasn't so bad after all, I guess. You just got to look somewhere else, ok? Just the guy -- trust me, the man is dangerous.
Krystal: The man is drop-dead gorgeous, and he knows how to kiss the hell out of a woman.
Tad: Ouch. And that's it. That's your entire criteria for dating a man?
Krystal: It got you in the front door, didn't it?
Tad: Oh, don't change the subject. I know that freak of nature a lot better than you do, and I'm trying to keep you from making a huge mistake.
Krystal: I already made one when I played sharesies with Liza and Simone.
Tad: I am trying to help you.
Krystal: Do what? Collect dust? Tad, Iím a social girl. I like lights and music and action. And there's not a whole lot of action in this town.
Tad: You like bingo?
Krystal: You know what? I'd like just about anything right now that'll give me a good time. In fact, I might even give you another go-round. Oh, wait a minute, that's right. You're sort of taking a break from the fairer sex, huh, since we give you so much grief? Disrupting your sleep, messing up your bed -- you're sure you're on a hiatus?
Anita: There's nothing to worry about. We're just waiting --
Boy: We're stuck.
Anita: We're not.
Boy: I hate elevators.
Anita: Oh, ok, I'll tell you what -- if you be real quiet and you go back to sleep, Iíll make sure that you get video games and ice cream. Good job. Please tell me we're going places.
Aidan: More like nowhere fast. And we can't fix it from here.
Anita: We are really stuck?
Aidan: Well, until someone from the outside figures it out.
Anita: Well, what about the emergency phone?
Aidan: It's as dead as the lift.
Aidan: Are you all right? You're not claustrophobic, are you?
Anita: No. And I'm not paranoid, either. You think I'm setting myself up, don't you?
Aidan: For what?
Anita: Bobby. That Iím falling for a load of sweet talk, that if I go back to him, hoping for what we had, I'll get what's coming to me right between the eyes?
Boy: I'm scared. This is taking too long.
Anita: It's ok, it's ok.
Aidan: Do you want me to give it a go?
Anita: You know about kids?
Aidan: Here. Hey, captain.
Boy: I'm not a captain.
Aidan: Oh, come on. Sure, you are. You're captain of the big ship, on the big ship discovery.
Boy: It's not a ship.
Aidan: Oh, I beg to differ. See, this ship -- this is one of the fastest ships in the galaxy.
Boy: It is?
Aidan: Absolutely. And so we are going to be blasting off to Mars. Except there's one problem. We need to wait until they load us with supplies down below. We can't go to Mars without video games and ice cream, can we?
Boy: No way.
Aidan: That's the spirit. Go on, then, captain.
Tad: Don't tease the monkey. You know damn well Iím still on a hiatus.
Krystal: Ok, come on, just because you want to play monk doesn't mean I can turn into a nun.
Tad: I'm not asking you to turn into a nun.
Krystal: Like hell. I want some action, and you suggest bingo? Come on. I practically tripped over Dr. Hayward, who happens to be a hottie not on hiatus, and you wave me off.
Tad: Hmm. I'm waving you off because it's for your own good.
Krystal: I am an expert on what's best for me, and since you're out of commission, Dr. Feelgood fits the bill.
Tad: Dr. Strangelove is more like it. What?
Tad: Krystal, what are you doing?
Krystal: I'm playing doctor.
Tad: I'm not sick.
Krystal: Mm-hmm. You're as green as they come.
Tad: Oh -- forget it. Now you're being ridiculous. That's -- no. And I am not now nor never will be jealous of Dr. David Hayward.
Kendall: Bianca's not back yet?
Ryan: Have you heard anything from anyone?
Lena: No one's seen her.
Kendall: How was she when you saw her last?
Lena: Fine, considering. I've tried every place I can think of. I tried her cell phone. Nothing.
Ryan: Well, did you alert security?
Lena: Yes, as soon as I realized she was gone. They're searching the grounds and the hospital right now.
Kendall: Oh, my God, Bianca. I've been so worried about you.
Ryan: Thank God you found her, Greenlee.
Lena: Where did you go?
Bianca: I went to the crash site. Greenlee brought me there.
Kendall: Well, you -- you look exhausted, ok? Why don't we get you into bed and get some sleep, ok?
Kendall: Here, we'll help you. Ok. There we go. Ok. All right, is that better? Let's get you into bed. Comfy?
Bianca: Kendall, I heard her. I heard Miranda.
Kendall: Look, it's ok, Bianca. You don't have to talk about this right now.
Bianca: Look, I know that everybody did everything that they could and search for her in the river and in the woods and everywhere, but I heard her. I really did. And I felt her. I still do.
Kendall: I know, Bianca. I know. It's going to be ok. Why don't you get some sleep, ok? Get some sleep. Can you watch after her?
Lena: Of course.
Kendall: Greenlee, can I talk to you for a second out in the hallway?
Kendall: What the hell is wrong with you? How could you do that? How could you bring Bianca to the place where her baby died? What are you trying to do, torture her?
Tad: I'm sorry, Krystal. I'm simply not the jealous type.
Krystal: Oh, I think those gills say otherwise.
Tad: Stop toying around, ok? I'm not kidding. I am really concerned about you.
Krystal: There's no need to be concerned, Tad.
Tad: Yes, there is.
Krystal: We had our fun, and now you're putting yourself in the deep freeze.
Tad: But -- come on, that doesn't mean I don't care. I mean, we're -- we're family. Yeah.
Krystal: Since when did we become kin?
Tad: Since my stepson and your daughter had a baby.
Krystal: Oh, ok. Aren't you the sweetest bonbon in the box, protecting your kin from those big bad wolves out there? Well, don't worry about me, honey. I can take care of myself.
Tad: I'm glad to hear it. That means you'll stay away from David Hayward?
Krystal: It means Iím going to get myself a fire extinguisher.
Babe: She's so soft and pink and sweet. Oh, I can just eat her up. I can't wait to take you home and show you your room and your toys. What's that? Oh, you want your very own pony.
J.R.: Well, I'll have to get her two and a corral. And if she's got ponies, she's going to want a dog, right? And a cat and a cow. And how about your own little petting zoo? How would you like that?
Babe: Oh, you are going to spoil her rotten.
J.R.: And her mama. What do you want? Name it.
Babe: I got everything Iíve ever dreamed of.
J.R.: Well, then start dreaming outside the box. It's yours. And Bess'. If you want to be a ballerina, I'll buy you a dance hall. And if you want to paint, I'll build you your very own studio right next to Uncle Stuartís.
Babe: You're crazy.
J.R.: Yeah, crazy in love with both my girls.
Babe: You hear that, Bess? We'll fill you up with more love than you'll even know what to do with.
J.R.: You're a -- you're a lucky little girl. You have a couple of parents who are prepared to give you the world.
Aidan: That's it. Close your eyes and rest up. I'll see you on the big red planet, skipper. He's a good kid.
Anita: You did that like you've been around kids your whole life. Thank you.
Aidan: I'm sorry I can't help you with your other situation. You know, those kind of answers I just don't have.
Anita: I don't either. All I know is I don't want to get hurt again.
Aidan: Looks like he's out for the count.
Anita: Space travel will do that to you. Hey, listen, Iím sorry for putting you on the spot. Like it's your job to come up with the answers that I can't find.
Aidan: Don't worry about it.
Anita: And it's not like it's the first time I went sideways on you -- when you tried to teach me to box, and what did I do? I accused you of putting the moves on me. I'm such an idiot.
Aidan: An idiot with a great right hook.
Anita: It's just lately, I just seem to spin out, you know, whenever, and I take out innocent bystanders along the way.
Aidan: It's ok.
Anita: No, it's not. And just because my life is screwed up doesn't mean I should take it out on you.
Aidan: You know, listen, don't be so hard on yourself. You loved your husband, and he hurt you after you trusted him. I mean, I know what it's like to have your life pulled out from underneath of you.
Anita: Next time I promise Iíll aim for the punching bag instead of you. The cut's all healed?
Aidan: Yep, because you did a great patch-up job.
Anita: So did you.
[Elevator motor runs]
Aidan: Looks like we've landed, captain.
Anita: Mission accomplished.
Aidan: How about we go and get the ice cream and video games, huh? Ready?
Kendall: I told you to stay the hell away from Bianca.
Greenlee: She asked me to take her to the crash site.
Kendall: Oh, yeah, like hell she did.
Greenlee: You don't want to believe me? I really don't care.
Kendall: No, I know what you're trying to do. You tried to take me down, you tried to bury me, it didn't work, and now you want to hurt my sister.
Greenlee: That's not true. I wanted to help her.
Kendall: Oh, don't say that you wanted to help her.
Ryan: Ok, just back off, Kendall. Let her speak. All right, Greenlee, what happened?
Greenlee: Bianca came out of her room all fired up to go to the crash site.
Kendall: Oh, and you just offered to give her a lift?
Greenlee: I tried to stop her.
Kendall: Well, how hard could that be? She's just had major surgery. She's as weak as a noodle.
Greenlee: She wanted to see where she lost Miranda. No one could have stopped her.
Kendall: What, and you couldn't call me? You couldn't wait until I came here?
Greenlee: I did. I left you a voicemail. Listen to your message. I asked you to come back to the hospital, that your sister needed you. I also left a note explaining everything.
Kendall: And you just took it upon yourself to give Bianca a guided tour of where she lost her baby? That's sick, Greenlee.
Greenlee: She begged me to take her.
Kendall: What? She can't even stand you. Why in God's name would she ask you, beg you, of all people, to take her to that place?
Greenlee: Because I was there. Because I understood. She had to go back to the place where she lost her baby. She had to see for herself that Miranda was really gone. No matter how much she loved her, no matter how many future plans that she made, he was never coming back.
Ryan: Greenlee, we know how much you loved Leo.
Greenlee: Yeah. I love Bianca, too. And I hate that this happened to her. You have no idea how much.
Kendall: I get that Greenlee is still freaked out about losing Leo, but she could have -- she could have stopped Bianca. But, Ryan, she could have got a doctor, a security guard, someone responsible instead of trying to play the hero. And Bianca, she could have been hurt. She could have had a relapse.
Ryan: Don't, Kendall, donít.
Kendall: Wait a minute. Greenlee -- Greenlee put my sister's life at risk, and then you defend her again?
Ryan: It's late.
Lena: Are you comfortable? Want some water? What have you got there? Oh, my goodness, it's so pretty.
Bianca: Leo gave it to Greenlee, and now Greenlee gave it to me.
Lena: You want to put it on? I'll help you.
Bianca: Ok. My baby's not alone.
J.R.: Well, it looks like it's just you and me. I think we wore Mom out with all our big plans. Well, as much as I don't want to let you out of my sight, I think I should get you back to the nursery. You get to hang out with your friends and let your mama get some sleep.
Paul: Listen to me, the helicopter went down, all right? Your baby's incubator was thrown out in the crash!
Babe: Just -- I'll get it. Just tell me where it is.
Paul: No, no, no, Babe! Listen to me! Look at me, ok? Your baby's incubator went in the river, all right? I'm sorry! Your baby's gone!
Babe: Baby -- my baby -- no, my baby -- my baby --
J.R.: Babe? Babe? It's ok, it's ok. You're just having a nightmare, that's all.
Babe: It was so terrible.
J.R.: Everything's ok. You're all right. It was just a dream.
Babe: I had a dream that my baby was gone.
J.R.: Well, that's not going to happen. Ok?
Babe: If I lost my baby, if I lost Bess I would just die.
J.R.: I know, and like I said, it's not going to happen.
Babe: I got to see Bess right now. I just want to go see her.
J.R.: No, no, no, no. She's in the nursery right now. She's safe and happy. She's all snuggled in there.
Babe: I don't want to go back to sleep. I don't want to have that dream again.
J.R.: There won't be any more bad dreams, I promise you, because I will never let anything ever happen to Bess, all right?
Babe: I love her so much.
J.R.: Yeah, and she'll be back in your arms before you know it. Ok? I love you. Get some rest. Ok. Good night.
David: What? Is Babe all right?
Krystal: Oh, yeah, she couldn't be better. And that goes for me, too. Listen, when you saved Babe, you saved two hearts. You saved hers and mine, and for that Iíll forever be grateful.
David: It's not necessary to keep thanking me.
Krystal: Oh, no, no. "Thank you" is for candy and flowers. I'd throw you a parade if I could, but I was hoping you'd settle for dinner on me. Doing anything tomorrow night?
David: I would like that very much.
Krystal: Great. Then it's set. You know where Iím staying. How's 8:00?
David: I'll be there.
Tad: Hi. Could I have a draft, please? Actually, do me a favor, all right? Cancel that. Give me -- give me a scotch. Come to think of it, make it a double.
Lena: Good night, Bianca. Sleep well. Is there something I can get you to help you sleep? Hey, I didn't get a chance to tell you before, but I found Paul Cramer, just like you wanted, and I insisted that he come down and tell you exactly what happened.
Bianca: Oh, no, I don't want to talk to him.
Lena: I thought you wanted --
Bianca: I know, but there's nothing that he can tell me that I don't already know.
J.R.: I got your message.
Tad: I'm amazed. I didn't think you'd come.
J.R.: Well, they kicked me out. You know, Babe needs her rest. Just thank God her fever broke.
Tad: I know. Krystal told me all about it. That's the best news Iíve heard in a long time.
J.R.: Maybe I should give them a call just to make sure --
Tad: No, stop, stop. Put it away. The baby's fine. Your wife is fine. Do her a favor. Try and get some sleep, because she's not going to get much of it when she gets home.
J.R.: I can't wait for that. I just came so close to losing Babe and Bess. I can't wait to start living our new life together.
Anita: It's Anita. I made an executive decision, and I told your husband to get out and smell some fresh air and eat something besides hospital food. I promise he'll be back.
Babe: That's nice.
Anita: How are you feeling?
Babe: Happy. I got my baby and my husband. I'm happy. Very happy.
J.R.: To Bess.
Tad: And to Babe. Here's how.
Aidan: Hello, boys. Room for one more?
Tad: All right.
J.R.: Sure. What do you want? I'm buying.
Aidan: How about we bar all women from the door tonight?
J.R.: What's the matter with you? Are you running scared?
Aidan: Well, I just need a break, you know?
Waiter: What can I get for you?
Greenlee: How about someone who will be on my side. Got any of those?
Waiter: Excuse me?
Greenlee: Something tall and cool and nice. Someone who understands me. He's willing to forgive a few mistakes. And another thing -- he can't be hung up on another woman.
Ryan: Whoa, whoa, there's the big daddy. How's the wife and kid?
J.R.: Never better. I'm buying. What do you want?
Ryan: What do I want? Don't ask. But I'll settle for scotch, neat.
Greenlee: What do you want?
Kendall: To settle this thing between us.
Greenlee: Bring it on.
