Jack: Just who the hell do you think you are?

Greenlee: Please, please? Erica's taken off and my dad needs help. If anyone knows where she might be, it's you.

Bobby: Now you're concerned about doing right by her?

Jack: And what is that supposed to mean?

Bobby: When Ms. Kane and I were in Philly, she told me that you and the entire family had pretty much cut her out of the loop.

Jack: You went to Philadelphia together?

Bobby: She didn't mention that, either? Hmm. That night you showed up at SOS, she begged me to get her out of there for one reason -- to avoid you.

Jack: Yeah, well, just for the record, I'm her fiancé.

Bobby: The way I see it is it's Erica's life. She can do whatever she wants, wherever she wants, and unless she makes it your business, it's not your business.

Kendall: When we were searching for Bianca and Babe and we thought everything was hopeless, you told me -- you told me to believe in miracles. Well, we found Bianca, but we lost the baby. Is that your idea of a miracle, Ryan?

Lena: Finally, there's some color back in your cheeks.

Bianca: Lena, I need something. I need to know everything that happened before the helicopter went down, and when it went down, and afterwards.

Lena: Sweetheart, this won't be easy for you to hear.

Bianca: I know, I know, but I have to know every single minute of Mirandas life. I have to know how she was lost and why she's gone.

Lena: There's really only one person who knows the answer to that.

Babe: Paul -- no -- Paul, you can't.

J.R.: Babe -- Babe, it's ok. It's ok, you're ok. Paul's not here, he's gone. You're safe here at the hospital.

Krystal: How is she?

Babe: The secret -- it's a secret.

J.R.: What secret?

Bianca: I got the name and number of the helicopter pilot from -- from Dr. Joe Martin. His name is Paul Cramer, and I called him and I left him a message, and he hasn't called me back yet.

Lena: I'm sure he'll get back to you as soon as he can.

Bianca: I know, but I can't wait.

Lena: Bianca, I know that you want some sort of --

Bianca: Look, ok, stop right there. You don't have to tell me this. Kendall already gave me the speech. I shouldn't ask about the crash, it's going to be too upsetting, but maybe Paul Cramer can tell me something, anything, that would make this all easier to understand. I mean, maybe he knows something about Miranda. Anything, even just one second. Maybe I was holding her. It would mean so much to me to know.

Lena: Listen, we'll find out everything we can, ok? I promise.

Bianca: Thank you.

Lena: Ok. You get some rest now, ok? And I'll find out everything you need, one way or another.

Bianca: Thank you. Hi, Reggie. Look, whatever you do, just don't cry, ok? Ok? Because if you do, I think I might totally lose it. Ok. Come here.

Ryan: I may be wrong about a lot of things, but not miracles. We got one.

Kendall: No. No. No, Bianca's baby should be lying in that nursery right now, but she's not.

Ryan: But maybe there is a miracle somewhere.

Kendall: No, Ryan, Miranda -- Miranda was our miracle, and she's gone.

Ryan: She's in our hearts. And everything is so dark right now, Kendall, but I know you. That's when you fight the hardest.

Kendall: I don't have any fight left.

Ryan: Kendall, that's who you are. That's who you are. You're going to wrestle your way out of this darkness, and you are going to find the happy ending that has always been out of reach.

Kendall: No. What I want is to watch Miranda and Bess grow up together. That's all I want, and that's never going to happen.

Ryan: Is that the only happy ending that you see?

Kendall: Is there another one?

Krystal: I -- I think we better let Babe sleep. Come on. J.R., Babe is just -- she doesn't know what's what. She's just so tormented by what was. She doesn't even remember that her marriage to Paul was annulled and that everything's fine now.

J.R.: Yeah, well, it will be when Paul stops coming around here. I don't care if he saved Babe and our baby. If he shows up here again, I'm going to --

Krystal: J.R., Just hold up now. Hold up, listen to me. Babe needs 112% of everything we've got to get through this.

J.R.: I'm not going to leave her side.

Krystal: I know, but it's more than that, ok? Now, this might sound like voodoo to you, but when we walk in that room, Babe doesn't need any negativity about Paul or about Bianca's baby -- anything. J.R., medicine can only go so far. We need to remind Babe that she's got everything to live for. Now you can either fight for her, or you can do nothing and watch her leave us.

J.R.: The only place Babe will be going is back home with Bess and me, and there's not anybody or anything that can stop me from doing that.

Krystal: Thank you.

J.R.: Maybe I should go check with the staff about the progress report.

Krystal: Ok.

J.R.: Ok.

Krystal: That's a good idea. Oh, Babe. Babe, that was a close call. Honey, don't you worry. You just work on getting better. Mama's going to make sure that your marriage to Paul is annulled without Adam or J.R. or anybody being the wiser. It's our little secret. Well, ours and Tad's, but he swore not to tell anybody.

Liza: Well, see you later.

Tad: Nice try, princess. You're not going anywhere till you tell me why you were hiding in my house, and the minute I walk back in again, you -- you try to take off.

Liza: No, I wasn't hiding. I -- I was --

Tad: What?

Liza: Well, because I --

Tad: Because?

Liza: Didn't really have --

Tad: Have?

Liza: Well --

Tad: Huh?

Liza: This is why.

[Liza gives Tad a passionate kiss.]

Tad: Whoa. That was a hell of an explanation. It just doesn't answer my question.

Liza: Well, this is all your fault!

Tad: Oh, I got to hear this.

Liza: No, come on. You're the one who said you needed a hiatus, that you needed a break from all these women, and I don't care. I mean, I wanted to see you because I missed you. So I really needed to see you.

Tad: So you really needed to see me so bad that you -- you broke into my home, and then you hid? And then as soon as soon as I come back and my back was turned, you tried to sneak back out again. I mean, why?

Liza: Well, I was embarrassed.

Tad: That's right.

Liza: No, really, I thought at first that this was something, whoa, spontaneous, and that I would surprise you. And then when I got here I sort of felt like a fool, so I made a run for it. What?

Tad: I thought we had an agreement, you know, that I was sort of off-limits? You know, out of bounds?

Liza: Well, just because you need to take a break doesn't mean that I agree.

Tad: Yes, we did. We agreed, remember?

Liza: No, we didn't agree -- look, I just said that because I wanted to make you happy. You don't believe me?

Tad: I have to. There's absolutely nothing in my house that you could possibly want except me. But since I'm still cooling my jets, I'm going to have to let you off with a warning. Take the purse, take the purse. In light of our very rewarding and very loving history, don't do it again because I'd really hate to get the cops involved.

Liza: Sure you don't want to frisk me?

Tad: Go.

Liza: Oh --

Tad: Yeah, there is that.

Maggie: I got to say I was getting kind of dizzy from not eating. You know, maybe I should wrap this up and bring some back for Bianca. I mean, she loves this stuff. Well, at least when she was pregnant, she did.

Jamie: Just eat.

Maggie: You sure you don't want a bite?

Jamie: No, it's all right. I was just thinking. I wish somebody loved me as much as you love your old roomie.

[Maggie coughs]

Jamie: You ok?

Maggie: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Too much hot sauce -- wrong way. Come on, Jamie, don't talk like that. A lot of people love you. I mean, the whole Martin clan. And you have the whole, you know, buddy thing going on with your brother. At least you did, right?

Jamie: Yeah, we used to have each other's backs. We're going to get there again, though.

Maggie: You see? And it's like Bianca and me. I mean, we will be pals for life, no matter what.

Jamie: Come on, Maggie. You guys are way more than pals. Anybody can see that.

[Maggie coughs]

Maggie: What, is it stamped on our foreheads?

Jamie: You know. You guys are like any great duo in history. Those guys that are willing to die for each other -- that's you and Bianca.

Maggie: No, no, no, I'd say we're more like Turner and Hooch.

Jamie: Go ahead and make fun. But between you, me, and the eggs, people that know real love? I envy that.

Maggie: Hello? What about Babe? You love her, remember?

Jamie: Or not. I mean, I thought I did. I sure said it enough. But what kind of love screws up so many people?

Maggie: Jamie, you didn't mean to hurt anyone.

Jamie: Yeah, but I did. I drove my parents crazy. I almost lost my brother. Just because I wanted to produce, direct, write, and star in my own chick flick.

Greenlee: If you're such a friend of Erica's, why won't you help?

Anita: Bobby, please, if you know anything --

Bobby: I don't know much. I saw her at the hospital chapel a while ago.

Jack: Did she say anything?

Bobby: I don't know Ms. Kane that well. I only saw her a couple times.

Greenlee: Well, you looked pretty cozy at that hotel in Philadelphia -- like you had spent some quality time together.

Bobby: Erica said she wanted to get away from Pine Valley, her family, and from herself. Said she was tired of being Erica Kane. I had business in Philly, I took her along.

Jack: Well, that was mighty big of you. When you saw her in the chapel, did she give any hint as to her plans?

Bobby: What happened in the chapel was private, between her and the guy upstairs.

Greenlee: That's it? That's all you've got?

Bobby: Since you all seem to be the reason that Erica is trying to escape, maybe you should just let her go.

Greenlee: I thought you understood that she was in trouble.

Jack: Look, this is a dead end, obviously. I thank you. I'll catch up with you later.

Greenlee: To think I almost started to like you.

Ryan: There's all sorts of happy endings.

Kendall: No. Not this time. I can't get there from here. I can't, not now.

Ryan: As horrible as this is, it doesn't have to be all there is. Maybe we'll hold onto the people we love a little harder. Maybe we'll -- we'll forgive a little easier. Maybe we'll be able to appreciate the good times just a little bit more.

Kendall: I can't even imagine ever having a good time ever again.

Ryan: Don't tell the babies, but life can really suck a lot. I mean, dreams don't always come true, you don't always get what you wish for, your prayers aren't always answered. And even if they are, sometimes you wish that they -- that they weren't.

Kendall: Sounds grim.

Ryan: But maybe that's the miracle in all this -- the fact that we keep going, we keep fighting our way upstream against the current, against the odds. Maybe the greatest miracle is that a tragedy like this doesn't rip people apart, but it brings them closer together.

Jack: Sorry to interrupt. Could I talk to you for just a second, please?

Ryan: Yeah. Yeah, what's up?

Jack: Erica's left town. She left nothing but a note.

Kendall: Jack, if Erica really wanted to vanish, she would've just gone and just stayed out of our lives for good. That note was bait to get your attention.

Jack: Well, she got it. Look, I know you're pretty tight with Erica. Has she tried to contact you in any way?

Ryan: No, no, not a word. I even programmed my number into her cell phone in case she ever needed me.

Jack: The last time you saw her, how did she seem?

Ryan: Well, I mean, she was really torn up about Bianca and the baby. She -- she said that she was really sorry that she couldn't protect Bianca.

Jack: Did she say anything else?

Ryan: Well, just that she loved her daughters. I mean, she was pretty quiet. She didn't seem like she was off the rails or anything.

Jack: Had she been drinking?

Ryan: Not that I could tell. I -- what's the plan?

Jack: Well, I've got Tad on the case, but I could certainly use another pair of eyes.

Ryan: Ok, consider it done. I'll hook up with Tad and find out whatever I can find out.

Jack: I really appreciate it.

Ryan: Ok.

Jack: Thanks.

Ryan: You going to be all right?

Kendall: Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine. Go. Thank you. Thank you, Ryan, for everything.

Greenlee: Where do you get off telling Jackson how to handle his fiancée? My dad loves Erica, no matter what she says or what she does, and believe me, she's done a lot. So why don't you mop up your own mess and keep your advice to yourself.

Bobby: I was only trying to help.

Greenlee: Obviously, you don't know what it means to love a woman so completely you'd do anything, risk anything, to be with her.

Bobby: I didn't mean to upset you.

Greenlee: Just stay out of my way. If you'll excuse me, I have to go help my father.

Anita: You didn't make any friends today.

Bobby: Probably not.

Anita: And I think that one has got your number.

Bobby: Maybe. But Greenlee's got one thing wrong -- I do know what it's like to love one woman beyond everything.

Anita: Even when you were in Philadelphia?

Bobby: I was helping a friend.

Anita: A beautiful friend.

Bobby: Ok, direct shot. I deserve that. I cheated on you. I screwed up big. But I've been faithful to you ever since, and I will be for the rest of my life.

Anita: Can you see me?

Bobby: Every gorgeous inch.

Anita: You know the color of my eyes and my hair, but when you look at me, what do you see?

Bobby: I've never been really good at "20 Questions."

Anita: Let me make it simple for you. You don't get me. Maybe you never did.

Jamie: I was just infatuated with Babe.

Maggie: Come on, is that so horrible?

Jamie: Yeah, it could've been. I mean, I was out of my mind in love after a one-night hookup? I am an idiot.

Maggie: Stop being so hard on yourself, ok? It very well could have been love at first sight.

Jamie: Yeah, it was -- for J.R. and Babe. Babe told me she loved J.R., and I wouldn't listen.

Maggie: Jamie, it's not like you were trying to steal her away or intentionally hurt your brother, ok? It just got out of hand.

Jamie: Well, thank God I got straightened out before I did serious damage. If I had gotten Babe away from J.R., I could've really messed things up. Babe's kid would've been with the wrong father, and that would've been unforgivable.

Paul: So, is Kevin excited about his new baby boy?

Kelly: Oh, he's ecstatic. He was born to be a father. They've already bonded. Yes, they have.

Paul: Well, that's great.

Kelly: He's so perfect. I still can't believe his mother would give him up.

Paul: Well, she couldn't deal with it. I mean, you did her a favor.

Kelly: Now I need you to do me one. I need to know more about Ace's biological parents.

Paul: No, Kelly. No, you don't, all right? They dumped him. They are out of the picture, so let's keep it that way.

Kelly: Well, that's just fine with me, but it may not be for him. No, Paul, I want to do this right. I mean, what if he gets sick? I need to know about their medical histories. It's important.

Paul: We will deal with that when the time comes. I mean, stop worrying.

Kelly: What if it's an emergency? What if there's no time?

Paul: Kelly, why do you keep going on about this? Digging up medical files is very tricky.

Kelly: Yeah, well, me giving birth to a bouncing baby boy has been tricky, but you helped me with that. Now I need you to help me with this. Paul, it's important.

Paul: I'm not making any promises.

Kendall: When I saw Bess in the woods, I was so sure that she was Bianca's baby.

Jack: Yeah, well, sometimes we see what we want to see.

Kendall: Jackson, I was really -- I was too harsh with you about Erica --

Greenlee: Hey -- thank God I found you.

Kendall: What the hell are you doing here?

Greenlee: I won't stay long. I just -- I just thought you might need me.

Kendall: No, nobody needs you, ok, so why don't you just get the hell out of here and just get out of our lives!

Greenlee: I could go, but it wouldn't change anything. I'm still family. I'm Jackson's daughter, I'm Bianca's cousin and Reggie's sister.

Kendall: Yeah, well, that's our bad luck. You came into this family, you blew everything apart, and none of us are ever going to forgive you.

Greenlee: You're wrong, Kendall.

Kendall: No, I'm not. Jack, tell her.

Greenlee: I'll tell you. He forgave me.

Kendall: Jackson, no. Jack -- Jackson, tell me you didn't. Tell me that she's lying.

Jack: She's not lying. I forgave her. And I want you to forgive her, too.

Tad: That is a list of contacts Erica might have made on her travels, or might make. I want you to get on that phone, start calling around. I'm going to stay online, see if I can dig up anything else.

Ryan: Why? What do you got?

Tad: Well, it turns out she parked her car in the long-term parking lot at the airport, so I contacted a good friend of mine. Only problem is her name does not appear on any of the passenger manifest lists.

Ryan: Really? So you think she's using an alias?

Tad: No. It's almost impossible these days security being what it is. I think it's more likely she hitched a ride on a private jet.

Ryan: Or maybe she's not even flying at all. Maybe she just parked at the airport to throw us off and she rented a car. I'm going to check that out.

Tad: No, no, no, no. You start calling around, ok? I can do that on the computer. All I have to do is check out any activity on her credit cards in the last 24 hours.

Ryan: Is that legal?

Tad: Are you kidding? Far as I'm concerned, Jackson's heart's broken, Erica might be drinking. My friends are in trouble, the hell with the rules and the red tape.

Ryan: I like the way you think.

Tad: Really? Want a beer?

Ryan: Yeah, I do. So you got any advice for the rest of us poor suckers?

Tad: Yeah, sure, as long as it has nothing to do with love, lust, or romance.

Ryan: Oh, please. If you don't have the answers, then who does, huh? I mean, look at me. I got, like, endless cash, but in the love department, I got nothing. Help a guy out.

Tad: I'm supposed to feel sorry for you? Between the pair of us, we look like the before and after picture of a comic book. Here, stop whining. This is the name and number of a flight attendant who works charter flights.

Ryan: Really? Is she cute?

Tad: No, Ryan. I want you to ask her about Erica, ok? You just make sure you tell her that Pookie needs to know.

Ryan: "Pookie"?

Tad: Yeah.

Ryan: What, are you kidding me?

Tad: No, I'm dead serious. If I had made it up, I would've given myself a name like "Animal" or "Thor."

J.R.: I love you. I never stopped. I just -- I just was so hurt and angry. I wanted to hurt you back. I was pretty good at it, wasn't I? When you smiled, I knew how to make it disappear. And when you reached out for me, I would just freeze you with a look. You survived a flood and having Bess alone, a crash, because you never gave up, just like you never gave up on us. Please, don't give up on me. Come back to me, Babe. I promise that I'll make everything right. I'll love you every minute of every day until every rotten thing I ever said is wiped away.

Lena: You're a difficult man to find.

Paul: Yeah, well, you managed.

Lena: I have connections.

Paul: So what can I do for you, hmm?

Lena: You could answer Bianca Montgomery's message in person.

Paul: Yeah, well, I'm sorry. I've been really busy.

Lena: Well, you're free now.

Paul: To do what, huh? To force Miss Montgomery to relive every hellish minute of the worst experience in her life? No, I'm sorry, but I'm not interested.

Lena: Either you come with me right now and tell Bianca exactly what happened to her baby, or you're going to be the sorriest son of a bitch in two cities.

Reggie: What? I got a million of them.

Bianca: No, no, no! Please, no more. Stop right there.

Reggie: That joke wasn't even funny.

Bianca: I -- I thought it was very, very funny.

Reggie: I know a mercy laugh when I hear one, though.

Bianca: Well, it's just you were trying so hard, I had to laugh.

Reggie: But you wouldn't have hurt my feelings. I could take it.

Bianca: Look, that's what family does.

Reggie: What, laugh at bad jokes?

Bianca: No. We stick together.

Reggie: Girl, I never met anyone like you before -- ever.

Bianca: Well, that's probably a good thing.

[Phone rings]

Bianca: Oh. Hello? Oh, no, I'm sorry, he's not in. Um -- no, I can take a message for you. Hold on. Can you just give me that number again? Ok. I'll give it to him as soon as I can. Thank you. Can you find Uncle Jack for me?

Reggie: Yeah, sure.

Bianca: He should call this number, and it's very important.

Reggie: All right, well, I'll catch you later, you know? And no more jokes -- I promise.

Bianca: Thank you.

Kendall: Jackson, Greenlee has infected our family since she tried to screw up your wedding to Erica. How can -- how can you forgive her?

Jack: Because she is my daughter and because she is genuinely sorry.

Kendall: Yeah, she's sorry. She's always sorry. And then she'll keep going on and on and on and then we're right back to where we started -- in some fresh hell that only Greenlee can whip up.

Greenlee: At least I'm making an effort.

Kendall: I'm sorry, I've been too busy trying to put my family back together to notice.

Reggie: Yo, yo, time-out! Jack, man, I've been looking all over for you.

Jack: What's up?

Reggie: Nothing, but somebody called Bianca's line and left this for you, said they want you to call them back right away.

Jack: Oh. All right, I've got to go. Listen, try not to put each other in the emergency room while I'm gone.

Greenlee: I should go, too.

Kendall: Oh, you're going to run off now, now that Daddy's not here to protect you?

Reggie: Kendall, why don't you just lay off, ok?

Kendall: Why don't you let a grownup handle this?

Reggie: Well, I don't see any. Kendall, I understand that you're mad at Greenlee -- she practically destroyed your family. But I got to say, she is trying to do the right thing.

Kendall: Oh, my God. What -- you forgave her, too?

Jamie: I'll always care about Babe, but I'm totally into being Uncle Jamie.

Maggie: Well, that's great because, you know, adorable babies are major chick magnets.

Jamie: I need accessories?

Maggie: Look, now that you're over Babe, you can really take advantage of little Bess. Come on, think of it. I mean, you're on the loose again, right? You're, like, the most eligible guy in Pine Valley.

Jamie: Is that cool with you? I mean, we're kind of involved.

Maggie: Jamie, we're involved but we're not involved. We're friends who hook up.

Jamie: And we're going to live together. Are you sure this isn't going to get weird?

Maggie: Hey, only if I find you in my underwear. Look, there are no expectations, there are no demands, no hang-ups, ok? I'm cool with that.

Jamie: You're about the coolest woman I've ever known. I figured you'd totally have a problem with --

Maggie: No, I mean, I am a 21st century kind of gal, you know? Deal with it.

Jamie: Oh, I can't believe it! My dad was right again. He said that no man is qualified to deal with women until he's been one in a former life.

Maggie: Really? I thought your father was an expert on women.

Jamie: And I thought so, too. I guess he's lost his touch.

Tad: I've lost my touch.

Ryan: With three women on the line?

Tad: Hmm. You heard about that?

Ryan: Yeah, I heard about that. Who hasn't? If that's losing your touch -- hey. Hey, what do you got? Really? What else? Pookie? He's fine. I will tell him. But don't get your hopes up because last I heard, he became a monk. Nice to talking you, Elaine! She still has your jogging shoes.

Tad: Yeah, I'm really missing those. What about Erica?

Ryan: Somebody saw Erica at the charter jet counter, but nobody actually witnessed her getting onto one of the planes.

Tad: That's good, that's great. We can use that. Just call her back right away, ask her whose private plane took off and landed the night she disappeared, the 30th.

Ryan: She'd rather hear from Pookie.

Tad: Don't help. Bad news is there's no activity on her credit cards at all after the 30th, which means she's using cash, so she's gone underground.

Anita: You don't get me at all. I mean, you think you can flash some charm and I'll roll over and play married. You're wrong.

Bobby: I'm -- I'm not trying to trick you here, Anita. I love you.

Anita: You make me feel invisible, like I didn't exist, and now you want me back in big, bright colors like nothing ever happened. I don't know if I can do that.

Bobby: I'll make it happen. You know, I'm not going to lose you over some stupid mistake. I'll give you as much time and space as you need. I'm willing -- I'm willing to leave you in the hopes that -- that you'll miss me enough that you'll take me back.

Anita: I got to warn you -- a gambling man wouldn't take the odds.

Bobby: Well, I'm feeling lucky. Look, I have to go back to Vegas, but if you want to contact me, call any --

Anita: I -- yeah, I have the number.

Bobby: Ok. I hope you use it. I hope it's good news. See you on the flip side?

Kendall: Reggie, don't fall for it. This is a ploy. She's trying to work off her guilt.

Greenlee: At least I have a conscience. Erica is God knows where, and instead of helping her, you waste your time going off on me.

Kendall: Erica's not your problem.

Greenlee: All this talk about family and you don't give a damn about your own mother.

Kendall: Don't -- don't even get me started on this. None of this would've happened if it hadn't been for you.

Greenlee: You know what? I just wanted to get to the truth. I never meant to hurt anyone.

Reggie: Can we please keep it down?

Kendall: The truth?

Reggie: The babies --

Kendall: Do you believe your own spin? I mean, you must. That's the only way you could possibly believe yourself.

[Babies cry]

Reggie: Can we please just tone it down just a little bit?

Greenlee: You really want to go there? Ryan can't even live with you.

Reggie: The babies --

[All talking at once]

Jack: What the hell is going on here? Stop it, all of you!

Jack: This is a family, damn it. Now, if you can't show a little love for each other, at least show some respect, huh?

Kendall: No, Jack, Greenlee is using this to get back into the family.

Jack: Oh, you know what? Let go of it. Just let it go, will you please, Kendall? Bianca's been through something nobody should have to go through, Erica is in her own private hell, and they need us. Now, if we can't pull ourselves together to help them, then you know what? There's no hope for any one of us. Now, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love all of you. We're a family -- don't you see that? Don't you get it? And when this is all said and done, I would like to marry the woman I love. I would like to marry Erica and I would like to have each and every one of your blessings. But if I can't have your blessings, then I want you to just keep your mouths shut until after I kiss my bride. Are we clear on this? Yes?

Kendall: Yes.

Jack: Good. I've got to go.

Greenlee: Is it Erica? Did something happen?

Jack: No. No, it's -- it's Lily. She's -- she's in trouble.

Kendall: Well, is there anything that we can do?

Jack: No -- well, yes, actually. You can -- you can try not to kill each other while I'm gone.

Greenlee: If -- if there's something that you need --

Jack: I'll let you know. I will. Thank you. Can I have a word with you, please?

Kendall: Jack, I'm sorry. I -- I was very out of line and you've got so much to worry about --

Jack: You're the one I'm worried about. You are so afraid to take a chance, you're so afraid that you're going to get hurt again. But you've got to take that risk. You do. If you find that you can open your heart, that heart will be big enough to forgive anything and anyone. If you don't, well, then you're dooming yourself to a life without love. Don't do that, ok? I love you.

Tad: Ryan, would you stop complaining. Look, you may be butt-ugly, but you got more money than God. So you lost the girl this time. I'm sure you'll find another before too long -- or four, five --

[Phone rings]

Tad: This is it. Yeah? Yeah, hi, Elaine. How are you? No, no, I'm fine. No, no, that -- that cleared up. But what about Erica? Really? That's tremendous. No, that -- no, no, no, no, don't. That's fine. I appreciate it. I -- no, no, that's not -- that's -- I couldn't. No, no, no, I just -- it's more sort of a physical impossibility, but I appreciate everything you did. I'll -- I'll talk to you later. Don't ask. Come on.

Ryan: Where are we going?

Tad: To see a man about a stowaway.

Anita: Babe's fever seems to have broken.

Krystal: Oh, hallelujah! Oh, thank you so much! Thank you.

Anita: No, Babe's the one that did all the work. But she still has a lot of work ahead of her.

Krystal: Oh, yeah, well, we're halfway home. I can just feel it!

J.R.: Hey, Babe.

Bianca: Oh, my baby! Oh! Oh! Hi.

[Baby cries]

Bianca: I hear you, baby. I'm coming. Don't worry, Miranda. Mommy's coming.

>> On the next "All My Children" --

Greenlee: We don't have to snipe and claw at each other, ok? Let's call a truce and pull together as a family.

Palmer: What do you rotters want?

Tad: We want to know where Erica is, and you're going to tell us.

[Bianca gasps]

Bianca: Oh, my God!
