Mia: Oh, God, can we go home yet? It's morning already.
Simone: Yeah, Ryan obviously slept like a baby, now that he's got Fusion wrapped up.
Kendall: Ryan does not have Fusion wrapped up.
Kendall: All we have to do is stand up to him.
Mia: Yeah, but how?
Simone: He's got the whole Cambias empire behind him. There's nothing he can't do. This whole thing is dismal and hopeless.
Kendall: Look, you guys, this all-nighter was a bad idea. We're tired and we're cranky.
Greenlee: Good morning!
Kendall: We need to go home and get some rest.
Greenlee: Good morning!
Kendall: Shut up. You're cranky.
Greenlee: Simone, your whole-milk latte.
Greenlee: Mia, your nonfat cappuccino. And for Kendall, her nonfat cap and nonfat cinnamon scone, straight from the oven.
Greenlee: I had to wait for it.
Simone: Oh, for someone who is so self-centered, you remembered what everyone likes.
Greenlee: And you know who I learned that from? Ryan.
Greenlee: His dot-com business was all about getting people what they want. In fact, all business is about that.
Kendall: Well, I bet you were an excellent pupil. What else did you learn from Ryan?
Greenlee: I learned that he never gives up, that he will fight to get what's his.
Kendall: Oh, well, I didn't have to learn that from Ryan. But that's exactly what we're going to do. Whatever it takes to hang on to Fusion.
Greenlee: Actually, I meant just the opposite. You'll never beat Ryan. You should accept his buyout offer. Take his money and run.
Juan Pablo: Mr. Lavery. Would you care to join me?
Ryan: Well, it's Ryan. But, yeah, sure, I'd be glad to. Juan Pablo, right?
Juan Pablo: Yes. You ran an interesting event yesterday. Very theatrical.
Ryan: Thank you very much. I thought it went well.
Juan Pablo: Gathering a crowd, the videotaped announcement, your sudden entrance. A very impressive performance.
Ryan: I'm in control of three of the biggest companies in Pine Valley -- Enchantment, Chandler, and Fusion. I'd say that's impressive.
Juan Pablo: But you don't actually control anything yet, do you?
Ryan: And how do you figure that?
Juan Pablo: As I understand it, your ownership of Chandler, Enchantment, and Fusion depends entirely on when Michael Cambias died, and that is in doubt.
Jack: Good, send a hard copy of that to Acting Chief Derek Frye, if you would, please. All right, thanks.
Derek: What am I supposed to do with that?
Aidan: Test it. Because I'm willing to bet that that gun was used in the murder of Michael Cambias.
Jack: Where the Hell did you get this?
David: He stole it from me.
Maggie: Here, look. There are lots of them. Rooms for rent.
Bianca: Yeah, but they're mostly for like the whole year. I only need a place for maybe, what, three months?
Maggie: Oh, I'm sure you can find something. Here, look. This one might be just what you want.
Mary: Good morning. There's nothing like a morning ride to get the old creative juices flowing. I'm going to go change clothes and I'll join you for breakfast.
Adam: You're having breakfast at the Valley Inn.
Mary: Oh, lovely.
Adam: This will buy you a suite at the Inn for a few weeks.
Mary: Oh. Am I that much of a temptation?
Adam: In a word, no. But my son is back, and he's going to be living here. I don't want anything to unsettle him.
Mary: Oh, and you think I would? Adam, no, I'll be discreet. And -- and we did have an arrangement.
Adam: Well, now we have a new arrangement. You accept that envelope and we go back to being strangers again.
Mary: But we've just learned so much about each other in the past few days. I mean, I think it's a little late.
Adam: Hmm. You could slander me all over town. There's not a thing I could do about it.
Mary: No, I just mean what I've overheard, for instance, when Opal was here the other night.
Adam: You were listening?
Mary: I was fascinated.
Mary: Something very mysterious about your connection with Palmer Cortlandt. Something deadly, perhaps nefarious, having to do with the night Michael Cambias disappeared. So, you see, it's too late. You can't kick me out. I know far too much.
Tad: I told you you weren't going to be able to keep that a secret. So, what are you going to do about her?
David: He broke in and took off without leaving so much as a fingerprint. Really, the Queen and the taxpayers of England would be very proud.
Derek: So how did you know the gun was missing?
David: I was going into my lock box this morning to retrieve some papers. It was then that I realized that Aidan's visit yesterday was more than just a social call.
Aidan: I took it. I admit it. Can we not waste any more time there?
David: Hey, I'm all for saving time here. So I'll skip the stolen property report and go straight to filing charges on theft and breaking and entering.
Aidan: Oh, knock yourself out, David. All I want to do is get this gun tested.
Jack: Why do you think that David's gun was used in Michael's murder?
David: Come on, the man is obviously setting me up here. This is revenge for supposedly hurting Anna.
Aidan: You're up to your eyes in this murder, Hayward.
David: You've got nothing on me.
Derek: Well, we've got this gun.
David: Which I get back right now, right?
Aidan: You can still test this gun, can't you?
Jack: No, we can't. Not just on your say-so, Aidan. We have no probable cause.
Aidan: Yes, you do. Because I saw David at Cambias' condo right after Michael disappeared. He was destroying evidence.
Derek: What exactly was he destroying?
Aidan: He was pouring scotch out of a decanter into a potted plant.
Derek: Why is this the first time I'm hearing about this?
Aidan: Anna knew about it. I assumed that she -- she made a note of it.
David: She did. And she discarded it. You see, Aidan, Anna had a murder to solve. She didn't have time to play games with your paranoia or your resentment of me.
Aidan: Whether I resent you or not, you could still be a murderer! You going to test this gun?
David: Not without my permission, they're not.
Aidan: Why would you object if you're innocent?
David: I am not the criminal here, Aidan. You are. Now, give me back my property and arrest this man!
Aidan: You're not fooling anyone, Hayward. You had something to do with this murder. Admit it. You wanted him dead.
David: Of course I wanted him dead! But I'm certainly not the only one in this town that wanted him that way.
Lena: You are looking for an apartment?
Bianca: Oh, yes. I can't live with my mother forever. Are you --
Lena: I'm posting jobs. I'm recruiting graduate students from the business school to work for Kendall.
Lena: In fact, I'm supposed to be meeting Professor Ferris. He's the department chair. There he is.
Bianca: Well, I guess that you should go, then.
Bianca: Good luck with everything.
Lena: Professor, it's so nice to meet you.
Prof. Ferris: Very nice to meet you. Will you come down to my office?
Maggie: Um, excuse me. Are you going to ignore what just happened?
Bianca: You know what, Maggie? Too much time has passed, it's far too complicated, and Lena and I are both better off the way things are.
Maggie: Oh, really? Because I thought I just saw fireworks and -- and the New York Symphony in the background, unless I was mistaken.
Bianca: No, you weren't mistaken. It was real.
Juan Pablo: So you seem very sure what the coroner's report will say.
Ryan: Determining the time of death is never exact. And my guess is that whoever took Michael out did so very quickly, like as soon as he walked on the rape charges. Hey, but even if the coroner's report is inconclusive, the fact that Alexander Cambias made me his sole heir is going to count for a lot in the eyes of the judge.
Juan Pablo: That seems reasonable. And then what?
Ryan: Then what? Then I win.
Juan Pablo: No, no, I mean that as Alexander Cambias' heir, you'll have to produce profits.
Ryan: Hmm. Well, hey, any suggestions? I'm not too proud to take them.
Juan Pablo: Well, you're about to lose Fusion's most valuable asset.
Juan Pablo: Fusion is Greenlee's vision, and it's bad business to ignore that.
Ryan: You know, I was wondering when we were going to get around to Greenlee.
Juan Pablo: I've already offered to invest in a brand-new venture with her.
Ryan: That's funny. She didn't mention that to me when she came to my room last night. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some valuable assets to attend to.
Simone: Wait, wait, wait -- that's what you really think? Kendall should just give up and let Ryan have everything?
Mia: Now, before the end of our Sexiest Man Contest?
Greenlee: That's right.
Mia: Yeah, but America's getting ready to choose the finalist -- the winner, the finalist. I mean, everybody wants to get to know Fusion's sexiest man.
Greenlee: Well, Ryan can take care of all that. He has a talent for PR.
Kendall: Ryan can keep his grubby hands off my contest and my company.
Greenlee: I know it's painful. It is for me, too, but we have to be smart.
Kendall: All we have to do is wait until the time of Michael's death has been determined. Then Ryan's claim will be worthless.
Greenlee: You know that's not true. Ryan could keep this tied up in the courts. It could take years. Juan Pablo reminded me of that last night.
Kendall: Juan Pablo? You were with Juan Pablo last night?
Greenlee: Yeah. And we went through all the options, and fighting Ryan isn't the best one. If you accept the buyout, you will get money. Lots of money.
Kendall: I don't want money, I want my company, Fusion.
Greenlee: Well, you have a company. Just not Fusion.
Kendall: That's ridiculous!
Greenlee: Wait, wait, wait. We combine Ryan's money with the money from my mother's trust fund, plus whatever Juan Pablo kicks in. We can start a whole new company, the four of us.
Simone: Start over again?
Greenlee: Well, think of what we know now that we didn't then. And Juan Pablo says that we'd be back on top in no time. He's right.
Simone: I don't know. Maybe he is.
Mia: Well, fighting Ryan could take years.
Kendall: We have been up all night and we've come up with nothing. And then you show up with all the answers?
Greenlee: Well --
Kendall: I know, I know, I know -- you had a very productive meeting.
Greenlee: Yeah, Juan Pablo and I went over --
Kendall: No, no, I'm not talking about that meeting. I'm talking about the nice little get-together you had with just you and Ryan.
Bianca: Yes, Lena and I could be happy together -- in my dreams. Then I wake up, Maggie. You know, too much has happened. And now I'm pregnant with this baby. How can I possibly expect Lena to understand that and accept that? It's Michael Cambias' child. Besides, Lena once told me she doesn't want kids, so how can I hit her with all of this? Especially since she seems so together now. What?
Maggie: You're freaking out just like you did the other day when you were coming back to school. You're assuming what Lena's going to think and how she's going to react. You're not even giving her a chance to tell you. She's right there. Why don't you just go ask her?
David: So that's all he has on me? That I wanted the pervert gone? Who didn't? Especially after the hopeless feeling we all had after that hearing when Cambias walked.
Derek: You know, I don't disagree with a damn thing you said, but nobody takes the law into his own hands, not while I'm behind this desk.
David: I knew you'd want to stick to the law, Derek. Just like Anna would have. That's why I want you to have this. I found it on a post outside on my balcony.
Derek: Surveillance equipment?
David: That's right, compliments of guess who.
Derek: Are you going to own up to this, too?
David: Ah, it's no big deal. It's not like he heard anything. All he heard was a very private, very intimate conversation between me and Erica Kane about Anna leaving me.
Jack: Devane, do you have any idea how you might have compromised this case with these shenanigans of yours?
Aidan: Compromised? Because of me, you got Michael Cambias' murder weapon right in front of you.
Jack: Yes, which David is about to pick up and take back with him!
Aidan: I know what the law says, all right? But there are ways around the law. There always are.
Derek: Wait a minute. You show up in here with a stolen gun, and you tell me to go around the law by testing it? Do I have it right?
Aidan: Look, all I want to do is find Michael Cambias' killer.
Derek: Well, unfortunately, right now we don't have any reason to believe that Dr. Hayward was involved in any way --
Aidan: Well, if you just test this gun --
Derek: All I can do is charge you with theft and breaking and entering.
Adam: Mary, are you trying to blackmail me?
Mary: Adam, really, I don't actually know anything except what Opal said, and for all I know, she got her information from the great beyond.
Tad: Still, it would probably be easier if you just killed her.
Mary: That's not funny.
Adam: No, I don't have to kill Mary, Tad. Mary's already dead -- socially dead -- and that's what really matters to her. If you ever threaten me again, I will make sure you never rejoin the living. You will long for the days when you were merely penniless.
Mary: Yes, Adam, ok.
Tad: This is how he turns you on? Kinky.
Adam: Tad, what are you doing here?
Tad: J.R. called me. He invited me for breakfast.
Adam: He what?
Tad: He invited me for breakfast. Apparently, he spent some time on that ship working as a cook. So he asked me to come over. I'm sure he would've told you about it, but you usually don't shut up. I'd watch that if I were you. It's why he left in the first place.
Mary: Yeah, you know, he's right, Adam. It's going to be very difficult for you to reconnect with your son, and I can help you not make those mistakes that I made.
Tad: Oh, if I were you, I'd watch this one. She's quick. Like last week she showed up in my bedroom.
Mary: Thank you, that's enough.
Adam: She what? What?
Tad: She showed up in my bedroom, offering her services in exchange for mine.
Mary: No, that's -- that -- no, that's not the way it's -- it's not the way it sounds.
Adam: No, it sounds wonderful. That's good now. It's very lucky for you. She's already packed, ready to go out the door. You can take her home right now. I'm sure you two will be very happy together.
Brooke: What's the matter, Tad? Lose a bet?
Jamie: You can't take her home with you, Dad. You've got to have room for Simone.
Brooke: You and Simone?
Marian: Tad and Simone?
Liza: Yeah, Tad and Simone. I thought everybody knew.
Simone: You were with Ryan last night?
Greenlee: I had to talk to him.
Greenlee: I had to try one last time to save Fusion.
Kendall: And when that didn't work, she kissed him.
Simone and Mia: You kissed him?
Greenlee: On the cheek. We were talking about the past and Leo -- I don't have to explain myself to you. What were you doing, spying on me?
Kendall: I didn't think I needed to.
Greenlee: No, really, what were you doing in Ryan's room?
Kendall: I don't have to explain myself to you. Do you really expect us to believe that you went to see him late at night to fight for Fusion, and when that didn't work you just kissed him anyway?
Simone: Yeah, it's a little far-fetched, Greenlee.
Greenlee: I told you why I went and why I kissed him.
Greenlee: You know, it's always the same with you. Our company is falling apart, and all you can think about is a stupid kiss on the cheek!
Kendall: Yeah, kiss him all you want.
Greenlee: No, Ryan isn't the love of my life. He's yours.
Kendall: Yeah, until he dumped me, left me on his motorcycle to eat his dust. He's the guy who always fights for what's his.
Greenlee: You're the reason that we're in this mess. Ryan's not happy with just Chandler and Enchantment, he's keeping Fusion to punish you.
Kendall: Oh, yeah, a lot you care about Fusion. You're ready to hand it over to him!
Greenlee: I tried to cut a deal so you don't have to spend the next chunk of your life fighting him. He's toxic to you!
Kendall: Well, what happened to fighting the good fight?
Greenlee: Yeah, well, this one's hopeless.
Kendall: You know what? You're giving up. That's what you're doing.
Greenlee: No, I'm being reasonable.
Kendall: No, you're not. You're such a liar. You were the one who was kissing him in the hotel hallways!
Greenlee: I tried to tell you that, but --
Ryan: Excuse me! Anything I can do to help, ladies?
Kendall: Yeah, Ryan, actually, there is something you can do to help. You can tell us what really went on between you and Greenlee last night.
Greenlee: Ignore Kendall. Her paranoia's kicked in.
Kendall: It's not paranoia when you think your partner is plotting to kick you to the curb.
Mia: Did you put Greenlee up to this? Is that what you did, getting Kendall to accept this little buyout?
Simone: Yeah, what else have you two cooked up?
Kendall: Whatever it is, it won't work.
Greenlee: Well, thanks a lot, all of you, for your confidence in me. My advice to you has nothing to do with Ryan. It has to do with us making a fresh start together. Everything I said makes sense. We can all win here.
Mia: She's right. Everything she said makes sense. We could stop fighting.
Simone: Yeah, yeah, we could have a fresh start.
Kendall: You guys are totally spineless! Bail on Fusion if you want to, ok, but I would die before I accept that buyout. I'm going to fight you and I'm going to win.
Ryan: And I totally respect that, Kendall. Well, Greenlee, you gave it the old college try. You know, that's all you could do. But I guess that means our little side deal is off.
Simone, Mia, and Kendall: What little side deal?
Liza: Don't give Tad a hard time because he's having a fling with Simone. They're adults who presumably know what they're doing.
Tad: Could we please not discuss it?
Liza: The same is true with Adam and Mary.
Tad: Oh, that's ok, go right ahead.
Liza: Adam can share his house with whomever he chooses.
Adam: I am not sharing my house with Mary. As you can see, her bags are packed. She's on her way out.
Mary: Adam, the workmen have already started on the studio you promised me, and I've ordered a half a ton of Carrara marble.
Tad: Well, here today, gone Carrara.
Mary: But why?
Marian: Because we already have one genuine artist on this property, Mary. That's why.
Mary: Adam, I've sent out announcements. Please, I can't stand one more humiliation. Please?
Adam: All right, all right, all right, all right. Why don't you get settled at the Valley Inn and then give my office a call, and they'll set you up in a loft here in town.
Joe: Hello, hello. The door was open.
Ruth: I hope we're not late.
Adam: No, no. J.R. isn't down yet, but we're having breakfast just as soon as Mary leaves..
J.R.: Mary's leaving? Oh, we hardly got to know each other.
Derek: Stephenson, my office. You're about to be read your rights. You got a lawyer you want to call?
Jack: Derek, look, you don't want to do this. It's more trouble than it's worth.
Derek: Are you suggesting I ignore a crime that's been committed?
Jack: No, no, no, no. I'm just saying if we do get something on Hayward, well, we want to move on it quickly. We don't want this penny-ante breaking-and-entering thing to slow it down.
David: I'm very surprised at you, Jackson. I always pegged you as being one of the most conscientious of our public servants.
Derek: We can't really turn a blind eye this time, Jack. Dr. Hayward reported a crime. Devane confessed to it. We have the evidence right here in our possession. Take this man down, read him his rights, book him, charge him with theft and breaking and entering.
Ofc. Stephenson: Yes, sir.
Aidan: You're making a big mistake, Lieutenant.
David: Well, I guess I've done my duty. My gun?
Derek: No, no, this stays right here. As you heard, this is evidence in a crime. It's standard procedure to test every gun that comes in against unsolved crimes still on file. If this gun isn't involved in any of those, then you can have it back.
Aidan: A pleasure, Lieutenant. I'll be in my cell.
Derek: If you'll excuse me, I've got to take this to the lab.
David: You better stop this, Jack, or else someone very close to Bianca is going to be in serious trouble.
Maggie: You know, you're right. I understand things are really complicated between you and Lena, but I hate to see you act out of fear.
Maggie: Well, yeah. Maybe she'll say "yuck" and freak out because it's Michael Cambias' baby, but, you know, maybe she'll surprise you. And it wouldn't be so bad having her around the next couple of months, now, would it?
Bianca: No, it wouldn't be so bad.
Maggie: So go tell her. Come on. You're not going to see her every day, you know.
Lena: Thank you very much.
Prof. Ferris: I look forward to it.
Prof. Ferris: Ok. Good to see you.
Lena: Ok, thank you. It was good to run into you.
Lena: Maybe we can have coffee sometime, you know.
Bianca: How about right now?
Lena: Yes, great. Sure, why not?
Bianca: Yeah, and we could, you know, get caught up on some things.
Lena: Ok, well, let's find somewhere to sit and --
Maggie: Hey, I'm late for class, and, well, I forgot to feed my fish.
Maggie: Yeah, here. And there's coffee in my room. Bye.
Bianca: There's coffee in her room.
Lena: Ok, let's go.
Bianca: This way.
Kendall: I knew it. I knew you were up to no good.
Greenlee: Don't listen to Ryan. He's lying.
Simone: There was a little side deal?
Ryan: Hey, now -- now, ladies, don't be too hard on Greenlee. I mean, she could've cut you out completely, and, you know, she didn't.
Mia: Cut us out of what?
Ryan: Out of Fusion. Hey, listen, it's the little deal that she came and proposed to me, that I would sell her Fusion back after you, Kendall, accepted my buyout.
Greenlee: Why are you doing this?
Mia: You were going to buy back Fusion?
Kendall: No, who cares? She's getting nowhere near Fusion. I would rather flush it down the toilet than let either Greenlee or Ryan have it.
Greenlee: That's exactly what'll happen. That's why I wanted it back the way it used to be -- the four of us.
Ryan: But with you as boss.
Greenlee: With me as boss --
Greenlee: Just like before.
Mia: Oh, like before, mm-hmm.
Simone: With you as boss?
Kendall: Oh, ok, so Fusion was just you, I guess?
Greenlee: I made Fusion what it was before Michael Cambias managed to steal it away from us.
Kendall: You're never going to get anywhere near Fusion again when I have it back.
Ryan: But when it's mine, you all can work here as if nothing's happened.
Ryan: Yeah, I mean, why not? I'm thrilled with what you guys have accomplished here, putting Fusion in the spotlight with your Sexy Man Contest. And you know what? It's a good thing I didn't come back earlier, or I just might've won.
Simone: Yeah, because what you're doing is so sexy.
Kendall: Oh, God, I can't -- this is disgusting.
Mia: You know, I could wipe that little smile right off your face.
Greenlee: Kendall, Kendall, don't you see what Ryan's doing? He's trying to divide us. Don't let him destroy our friendship or our dream.
Kendall: The only one who's done that, Greenlee, is you.
Greenlee: What the hell is wrong with you?
Edmund: A word with you, Mr. Ruiz?
Juan Pablo: I'm sorry. I'm on my way out.
Edmund: This won't take long. I'm the editor of "Tempo" magazine, and I just want --
Juan Pablo: Yes, I know who you are, Mr. Grey, and I have no comment on the Cambias case.
Edmund: It's not about the Cambias case. It's about the Calatravas, an Argentinean crime family? I believe you're aware of them?
Juan Pablo: Do you think all Argentineans know each other?
Edmund: Your brother knows them.
Juan Pablo: I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about.
Edmund: I'm talking about a story I heard about a very brave young man who killed a member of this crime family for trying to rape a young woman. And this young man made it to this country with the help of his older brother.
Juan Pablo: That sounds like an old story.
Edmund: Here's a new chapter. Members of the Calatrava family just landed in Miami, and the Feds don't know why or where they're headed.
Juan Pablo: I see. Is that all?
Edmund: Que tengo un bién día, Señor. [Have a good day, sir.]
Juan Pablo: Thank you.
Lena: You know, people would be much better off if they were like fish.
Bianca: Why do you say that?
Lena: See these two? Just a minute ago they were locking lips. But the rest of them, they don't care what sex they are.
Bianca: Well, I guess the scales fell from their eyes.
Lena: You know, I thought Maggie was just pretending to have fish so we'd have somewhere to talk.
Bianca: Well, she -- she did want us to talk.
Bianca: Maggie just wants me to be happy.
Lena: And are you? I mean, beginning to be, maybe?
Bianca: Beginning to be.
Lena: I'm so glad to hear that.
Bianca: I feel so much less alone now. I mean, I have so many people in my life who love me.
Lena: Of course you do. And, you know, that includes me because I still love you just as much as ever. Ok, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that. That was a mistake, wasn't it?
Jack: What the Hell do you mean, "somebody very close to Bianca"? If you mean Erica, say it!
David: I didn't think I had to.
Jack: What have the two of you done, David? What is the test on that gun going to show us?
David: Believe me, Jack, we're on the same side here. We both don't want the results of that test to come out.
Jack: Don't be so sure about that because if you're guilty of killing Michael, I will drive you to Statesville myself.
David: You know what the Hell I'm talking about.
Jack: I know that if Erica is involved in this, it's because you dragged her into it, and if you did that, you will answer to me.
Mary: Yes, J.R. and I had a nice talk while he was cooking. What were you making?
J.R.: It's dolma. It's grape leaves stuffed with lamb.
Mary: It's fabulous.
J.R.: It needed more mint.
Mary: No, it was perfect.
J.R.: Yeah, I hope you're not leaving because I'm here.
Mary: Well, as a matter of fact --
J.R.: But we got plenty of room and I'd like you to stay.
Adam: Fine. This is your house, too.
Mary: Fine. I'll just go change my clothes for breakfast -- excuse me -- and everybody go ahead without me. Just -- I'll be down in a little bit.
J.R.: Well, hey! How is everyone?
Marian: Hey, you! You are a grown man. You look wonderful. Welcome home.
Joe: J.R., you do. You look great.
J.R.: Oh, well, thank you.
Joe: Good for you.
Brooke: It's amazing what a couple of months can do, really.
J.R.: Oh, well, time well spent.
J.R.: Grandma Ruth. You look fabulous.
Ruth: Oh. It's my haircut. Well, the sea certainly was good for you, J.R.
J.R.: Oh. Liza. How are you? How's Colby?
Liza: She's waiting for a rematch in chess. Welcome home.
J.R.: Thank you. Jamie.
Jamie: Hey, hey.
J.R.: What's up, buddy?
Jamie: Not much.
Ruth: Tell me about these dolmas, hmm?
J.R.: Oh, yes. Well, we had this old Armenian chef on there, and he was just a genius and he taught me so much.
Ruth: I could never get you to eat anything except pizza and cheeseburgers!
Brooke: Oh, right, and get him to wash a dish.
J.R.: Well, that's not a problem anymore, and if you need 100 pounds of potatoes peeled, I'm your man.
Jamie: So that's all you did on your trip was peel potatoes?
J.R.: Well, little brother, that's not all I did.
Tad: Ooh. We're still waiting for details.
Ruth: Are we?
Brooke: Oh, J.R., you're taking after your stepfather.
Tad: And I'm proud of it.
Jamie: Hey! How come it's cool if he gets some action?
Tad: You go to sea, learn how to peel 100 potatoes, we'll talk.
Joe: So, what are your plans?
Ruth: Oh, now, let him rest. He deserves it.
J.R.: Well, nothing at the moment, but you'll be the first to find out.
J.R.: Oh, wait, that's for me.
Liza: So who does he remind you of?
Brooke: Hmm, let me see -- Adam?
J.R.: Hello? Yo! Maybe. No, the Canadian. Can you give me a minute? Yeah. I'm going to take this upstairs. Uno momento, por favor.
Ruth: He looks good.
Tad: I think he looks great.
Marian: I think he looks fabulous.
Joe: I think so, too.
[All talking at once]
Liza: Are you for real?
Brooke: He hasn't been back home 24 hours.
Adam: I wanted to make sure he picked up.
Liza: No, you were snooping. Do you remember why he left in the first place?
Brooke: Because you never let up on him because you never trusted him.
Liza: You know, you have an opportunity here. Don't blow it.
Adam: All right. I was curious.
Brooke: Would you let him have some privacy?
Liza: You remember when you told me to tell you when you messed up? Well, you messed up.
Joe: Hey, J.R., we're getting hungry down here.
J.R.: Ladies and gentlemen, you may proceed to the dining room.
Adam: J.R., save a little room. I made a lunch reservation at the club. I want to show you off.
J.R.: Oh, I'm sorry, Dad. I'm already booked.
Adam: You're already booked? But you just got here. You're leaving already?
J.R.: No, of course I'm not leaving. I'm hanging out with Jamie this afternoon, right?
Jamie: Uh -- right.
Adam: Right. Are you sure it has nothing to do with that phone call?
J.R.: Phone call? Dad, you're going to ask me about the phone call?
Adam: No. No, no. No, of course not. It's just -- no, go have a good time. You're going to be here forever, I hope, and I'll show you off at the club another time.
J.R.: All right. Sounds like a plan.
Tad: Kind of curious about that phone call myself.
Automated voice: The number you have reached is unavailable.
David: Oh, yeah, that's it, Jack. I forced Erica to get involved to make sure that her daughter's rapist paid for his crime.
Jack: What happened?
David: And that was after you let him walk out of that courtroom.
Jack: Just tell me what happened that night. What did you and Erica do, David?
David: I'll tell you what happened. Erica came to me. She needed someone to help her. She said she couldn't count on you, Jack, and it wasn't just because of the hearing. It was also because of Greenlee. You canceled the wedding, remember?
Jack: I know what I did! You just tell me what happened that night. What did Erica want you to do?
Derek: I've got the results on the bullet.
Bianca: I know that you love me, Lena, but it still feels strange when you say it.
Lena: Yes, of course. You don't have to respond, and we'll just let it go. The fish still look hungry.
Bianca: I like just being here with you.
Lena: That means everything to me. Bianca, you know I told you once you can tell me anything, anything in the world, no matter what. You know, that's still true.
Bianca: No, I don't think I do know that.
Lena: Why not?
Bianca: Because --
Lena: What -- what is it, Bianca? What do you have to tell me?
Greenlee: Say something! Why did you stab me in the back?
Ryan: You know what? I just came by to get the annual report, but I see that you're a little hysterical right now, so --
Greenlee: Oh, yeah. You'll know when I'm hysterical.
Ryan: No, no, you know what? We'll do this another time, for your sake.
Greenlee: No, you know what? You're not getting off that easily.
Kendall: Oh, no, no, no, no! You think I'm going to let you plot against me some more?
Greenlee: You two need some time alone.
Kendall: No, no, no, no, no! Stay. We're going to have this out.
Greenlee: No, you know what? There's nothing left to say!
Kendall: Oh, there's plenty left to say.
Kendall: Yes, there is.
Greenlee: Come on, open!
Kendall: Ah-ah-ah -- excuse me, we're going to talk --
Ryan: Now what?
>> on the next "All My Children" --
Bianca: There's more that you don't know. There's a lot more.
Simone: You and I could be running this business.
Mia: Cut out Kendall and Greenlee?
Simone: Why not?
Kendall: Stay out of this, Ryan. You've caused enough trouble.
Ryan: There's plenty more where that came from.
Derek: Your gun is a match for the gun that killed Michael Cambias.
