Greenlee: They don't have safety belts on the carnival rides in Argentina?
Juan Pablo: I guess we're not as interested in lawsuits as you Americans are.
Greenlee: Yeah, well, who is? But, still, I mean, there's a danger of falling out. I mean, when we were turned upside down on that ride, it could've been tragic.
Juan Pablo: Not if you hold on to each other.
Greenlee: Yeah, which we did.
Juan Pablo: Mm-hmm. Besides, a little danger's romantic, don't you think?
Greenlee: Yeah, if you're kissing upside down on a ride.
Juan Pablo: Mm-hmm. So, how are we going to top that? Give me a chance. Let me show you.
Greenlee: No, I -- I can't.
Juan Pablo: Why? What's wrong?
Greenlee: I canít. Just don't.
Juan Pablo: Greenlee, you're saying no?
Greenlee: Yes, Iím saying no. A thousand times no.
Jack: Lieutenant Perry, cordon off this crime scene and have Forensics go to work.
Lt. Perry: We've been waiting for you to give the word, Mr. Montgomery.
Jack: Yeah, well, I gave it, so get to it.
Lt. Perry: We're ready to move. Officer Morrison, while they're collecting samples and taking photos, find out who owns this building and get them down here.
Ofc. Morrison: You got it, Lieutenant.
Edmund: That was quite a reaction you had to finding Cambias' body.
Jack: I hated the guy, Edmund. I've never made any secret of that.
Edmund: Is that why you said what you said?
Jack: Why? What did I say?
Edmund: You saw him swinging on that hook, and you said, "I wish to hell they never found you."
Jack: Yeah. So what?
Edmund: So, you tell me. Seems to me the only D.A. disappointed by finding a corpse is a D.A. who wants to lose a case.
Jack: What, are you questioning my ethics, Edmund?
Edmund: Should I be, Jack? You got a personal reason to want Cambias' killer to go free?
Kendall: Hey, Binks. We're back.
Bianca: Kendall, what are you doing? Why are you with him?
Kendall: You mean Michael? He's my husband now. You remember. We tied the knot in Vegas.
Michael: She's never been happier, right, sweetheart?
Kendall: Hmm, you got that right, honey. Look, Binks, I brought you the bouquet.
Bianca: No, Kendall, this is -- this is all wrong. This is -- this is hideous. You can't be with him. He's twisted up inside. He'll hurt you.
Kendall: Listen, Bianca, I can handle Michael now because of you.
Kendall: Yes. We knew you'd do the right thing.
Michael: Just give me what you owe me and everything will be all right.
Bianca: I don't owe you anything. No, leave me alone.
Michael: Bianca, Bianca, you've got my child. That's why we came here.
Kendall: Yes. We're going to raise your child. It's perfect. It'll solve all your problems.
Bianca: No, you are not getting your hands on my child.
Michael: Bianca, Bianca, don't fight us on this, ok?
Bianca: Let me go. This is my child -- mine! You're not going to -- you're not going to get your hands on my child! Not now, not ever!
Bianca: Oh --
Myrtle: Hi, darling.
Bianca: Oh, Myrtle, thank God. I am so happy it's you.
Myrtle: Who were you expecting?
Bianca: Oh, one, exactly. I just -- now that you're here, I -- I feel like I can let my guard down.
Myrtle: Well, I'm very glad to hear that. I came here to check on you. I want a report.
Bianca: Oh, well, I'm doing all right.
Bianca: Yes, really.
Myrtle: That's a blessing. And tell me, how's your mother?
Bianca: She's stressed. I finally convinced her to go to the health club and get a nice massage.
Myrtle: Oh, so typical. You're pampering your mother while you're the one who's getting it rough.
Bianca: Oh, well, Myrtle, it wasn't entirely unselfish. All that hovering was starting to get to me.
Myrtle: Oh. Well, listen, darling, you know, you must expect that to go on. Your mother's very worried about you.
Bianca: I know she is, and that's why Iíve decided to get counseling at the hospital.
Myrtle: I'm very proud of you. You know, I think there are some very good things ahead.
Bianca: Really? Are you moving into Opalís territory and starting to tell some fortunes?
Myrtle: Hey -- hey, hey, hey. Opal's not the only one who's got a sixth sense here. Now, I used to make a lot of money reading palms in the carny circuit.
Bianca: Of course you did. Myrtle, do you ever run out of stories?
Myrtle: No, I donít. At least I don't think so. Well, let's see. Let me see your palm. Aha.
Bianca: Ok, Myrtle, I'll bite. What does "aha" mean?
Jack: Edmund, my entire reaction to Cambias is personal. That predator raped my niece, and he walked out of my courtroom a free man. I'm thrilled he's dead.
Edmund: Jack, I understand that.
Jack: So what are you suggesting, that Iím not going to go after the person that murdered him and bring them to trial, try to convict them?
Edmund: That's what it sounds like.
Jack: You're 100% right. I hope I never find his killer. And I certainly don't want to prosecute him or her.
Edmund: So you're going to recuse yourself?
Jack: I don't recall saying that, no.
Edmund: Come on, Jack, this is a billionaire's son hanging off a meat hook. You can't exactly bury this guy.
Jack: Yeah, it's a high-profile case, isn't it? And I'll tell you something else, Edmund. There's a very good chance that someone we know put him on ice.
Edmund: You want to go on record with this?
Jack: You want to quote me, be my guest.
Lt. Perry: I think it would be a lot better for everyone -- especially you, Jack -- if that stayed off the record.
Jack: Yeah, Byrum, I appreciate what you're saying here. I'm not going to stand here and be a hypocrite and say Iím not grateful --
Lt. Perry: Ok, I've heard enough. I need a formal statement from you.
Jack: You do? About what?
Lt. Perry: I need to know where you were the night Michael Cambias disappeared.
Jack: You do? Why? Do you think I killed that psycho?
Juan Pablo: What are you saying no to a thousand times? Is it me, something I said or did?
Greenlee: No, no, no, it's not you.
Juan Pablo: I'm not sure I can believe that.
Greenlee: No, no, no, you can, you can. It's me saying no to the voice in my head that's saying, you know, "Go with it, just go with it and ask questions later." I mean, I've spent most of life listening to that voice.
Juan Pablo: How did that work out for you?
Greenlee: Not very well. That's why Iím trying to stop it.
Juan Pablo: I see.
Greenlee: No, I don't think that you do. You see, this is a pattern with me. I follow my heart's desire, and then I usually trip and end up flat on my face.
Juan Pablo: This can't be true with Leo.
Greenlee: Oh, it was. It was. He just never gave up on me.
Juan Pablo: And you think I will?
Greenlee: I don't know. I mean, you slowed me down when we were in Atlantic City.
Juan Pablo: Greenlee, I told you I wouldn't let anyone hurt you, even you yourself. I mean it.
Greenlee: I know, I know. I know you do, and I see that. It's just that Iím so impatient.
Juan Pablo: Yes, Iíve noticed this.
Greenlee: And I want to be different with you. I want to get to know you and get to know me knowing you.
Juan Pablo: I'm sorry. I'm a little confused.
Greenlee: I like the pace that you set. It's good having no pressure.
Juan Pablo: What's funny?
Greenlee: I can't believe how old-fashioned I'm being.
Juan Pablo: That's old-fashioned?
Juan Pablo: What good would pressure do us?
Greenlee: None, obviously. So, now that we're going to take it slow, what's next?
Juan Pablo: I'll let you decide.
Greenlee: If I were to say that I wanted to go for a gondola ride, would you take me to Vegas?
Juan Pablo: Vegas? I'd take you to Venice to a man I know who makes them using the old ways.
Greenlee: Hmm, and if I told you I wanted to go to the space station?
Juan Pablo: You do like danger.
Greenlee: No, I guess there's no space program in Argentina, is there?
Juan Pablo: No, but I have some Russian friends I might be able to bribe.
Greenlee: You're like something out of a black and white 1940s movie.
Juan Pablo: I hope this is a compliment.
Greenlee: Oh, it is. Those guys were experts on romance. Thank you.
Juan Pablo: And you know this because?
Greenlee: I watch the old movie channel. Let me show you.
Announcer: The police are currently at the scene at Bruno Spinelliís meat packing warehouse, adjacent to the docks, where the body of billionaire Michael Cambias was discovered earlier this evening. An accused rapist, Cambias recently fought off those charges but was still due to stand trial for corporate crimes committed at Chandler Enterprises. Although the police have not yet confirmed this, unofficial word is that Cambias was murdered.
[Greenlee turns TV off]
Greenlee: Oh, my God, did she do it?
Juan Pablo: Who?
Greenlee: Kendall. I've got to find her and find out what's going on.
Simone: She's in there. I know she's in there.
Liza: You're actually going to make us go in there.
Mia: Just wait till she gets out. This is ridiculous. It is.
Simone: Come on. There she is.
Mia: Oh, hi.
Kendall: Hi. What the hell are you guys doing here? Why are you still dressed?
Liza: We have a fabulous offer for you, Kendall.
Kendall: Ok, well, I don't want to hear it.
Mia: Yes, you do. You really do.
Kendall: No, I donít. I really don't. I came in here to get away from everything, including all of you.
Liza: Well, we can go out to the locker room just for a moment?
Kendall: I don't care. Do whatever you want. I'm not going anywhere.
Simone: Ok, fine, then. We'll pitch you right here.
Liza: We will? I'm wilting.
Simone: Well, then peel something off and give her the short version.
Mia: Make it fast.
Liza: All right, all right -- Kendall, you know how we all worked really hard together to put Fusion on the map?
Liza: Ok, and on October 10, we're throwing this big gala to announce the new face of Fusion, you know, announce the Sexiest Man Contest winner.
Simone: Yeah, yeah, all the five finalists are going to be there.
Mia: Right, and all the media's going to be there.
Liza: Right. I mean, if you fire your partners and your co-founders, the backlash could be really damaging to you.
Mia: And Fusion will take the hit, and you're going to come off like some amoral gold digger.
Simone: Right, someone who has to do anything for money, you know, including hooking up with a violent rapist.
Mia: Come on, Kendall. Do you really want to sink the company that you helped to create?
Kendall: All right, what do you suggest?
Liza: What I suggest is we talk about this outside. It's really hot in here.
Kendall: Really, I don't care. I'm not leaving. You guys can go if you want to go. I'm staying.
Liza: All right, fine. Look, here's what I suggest -- I will give you my Chandler stock for your Fusion stock. I'll take the Fusion stock. I'll re-distribute it the way it was originally, only with one exception -- that Simone and Mia have shares in the company.
Kendall: Well, what do I get?
Liza: What you get is you get to be a part of Fusion, you get the balance of power at Chandler, and you get free reign of Enchantment.
Mia: Come on, Kendall. Do you really want to see Fusion go down?
Liza: Oh, come on, say yes. It's really hot.
Kendall: All right. Yes, yes.
Kendall: But -- but I have one condition.
Lt. Perry: Jackson, this is basic police academy stuff. We're looking at a homicide investigation. You have a history with the victim. I'd be derelict in my duty if I didn't put you on my short list.
Jack: Yeah, well, we wouldn't want that, so why don't you do your duty, ask your questions.
Lt. Perry: Once I get your statement for the record, we can drop this.
Jack: So what do you need from me?
Lt. Perry: Let's start with your whereabouts on August 28, the night Michael Cambias disappeared.
Jack: Is that when you've decided he went missing?
Lt. Perry: Well, that's when his hearing was. Cambias walked away from rape charges your niece brought against him, and it didn't sit well with a lot of people.
Jack: No, of course it didn't because it wasn't justice. Nobody wanted to see him back on the street.
Lt. Perry: Jack, you need to know that Iím going to talk to anyone Michael Cambias crossed or victimized, including Erica and her daughter Bianca.
Jack: No, you are not. They are off-limits.
Lt. Perry: What? You don't decide that.
Jack: You cross that line, and you're finding out who decides what around here.
Lt. Perry: What line are you talking about? Because I have statements to get.
Jack: No, you have nothing to get. You back off them! You ask them nothing! You stay away from Bianca and Erica, you hear me?
Myrtle: I see love. Love is coming back into your life, and this time it's going to stay.
Bianca: You read that in there?
Myrtle: And you're going to be open to it, and you're going to love all the joy and the happiness it brings you.
Bianca: Well, will this be an old love or a new love?
Myrtle: Well -- I can't be quite sure. Now, it's someone who's going to rely on you and -- and trust you and -- and see that you're -- you're just everything. And -- and is going to teach you how beautiful everything in the world can be. It's going to give you every happiness and joy and will help to make you forget all this terror and horror you've had.
Bianca: It sure would be pretty to think so.
Myrtle: Well, why so sad? That's good news.
Bianca: Yes, you, Myrtle. You can take the woman out of the carny, but you can't take the carny out of the woman.
Myrtle: Ah, you think I'm -- you think I'm spinning my wheels, don't you? Well, it's right there in your hand.
Bianca: Well, even if it is, I don't think you read it in there.
Myrtle: Well, I -- I read a lot in your heart. I promise you, you're going to have happiness, darling, and everything that you want because you deserve it.
Kendall: Simple -- you come to my wedding reception and drink a toast to me and Michael.
Mia: What the hell?
Simone: Are you for real?
Kendall: Absolutely. And if you don't bust out with the champagne, then you can get out now. What, you can't do it?
Simone: Kendall, it's in real poor taste, even for you.
Kendall: Oh, really? You think so?
Simone: Yeah, I do.
Kendall: All right, what about you, Liza?
Liza: I agree.
Mia: Can't we just celebrate our contest winner?
Kendall: No, we can't, because guess what? This was a test, and you all flunked. So just take your soggy selves and get the hell out now.
Mia: Why? Why? Because we want to save you from humiliation?
Kendall: No, because you always believe the worst in me. I want you to trust me and believe that I had reasons -- very good reasons -- for doing what I did.
Simone: Then help us understand.
Liza: You want us to trust you given everything that we know?
Kendall: If you do, you'll have it all. Oh -- you, too, Greenlee? What is this, a conspiracy?
Greenlee: You haven't heard?
Liza: Heard what?
Greenlee: About Michael.
Kendall: What about my husband now?
Greenlee: Well, I may or may not be bringing you bad news.
Kendall: Damn it, Greenlee, what? What? What happened?
Greenlee: The police found Michaelís body in a warehouse by the docks.
Greenlee: Just a little while ago.
Mia: Oh, my God, he's dead?
Greenlee: Evidently. And the cops are calling it murder.
Kendall: I don't believe it. What? Oh, my God. You guys think that I married him and then killed him.
Kendall: You call yourself my friends, and you honestly believe that I would murder someone?
Simone: Just tell us you didn't do it.
Kendall: Why should I have to? You're my friends. You're my partners. Can't at least one of you stand by me?
Mia: Stand by you? How?
Kendall: Well, for starters, you could believe that Iím innocent and that I had nothing to do with Michaelís death, and, second, you can back up and trust that I had a plan when I hooked up with Michael to begin with.
Liza: On your word?
Kendall: Yeah. That would mean something.
Liza: How about some proof? You know, I have hundreds of thousands of dollars sunk into Fusion.
Kendall: You know what? Forget it. Forget you. Forget your stupid plan to trade Chandler stock with Fusion. That's it. Forget it.
Mia: Oh, come on, Kendall. We all have a lot on the line.
Kendall: No, you have nothing anymore. You know why? Because I own Fusion now, and that's the way it's going to stay. I don't have friends or partners or anybody left to share anything with now.
Greenlee: That's not true.
Kendall: No, I'll tell you what's true -- I don't give a damn about Chandler or you or Fusion or any of you guys anymore.
Greenlee: Ok. That went exceptionally well.
Juan Pablo: You weren't followed, were you?
Carlos: No, I doubled back to make sure.
Juan Pablo: Good. Would you like some drink?
Carlos: No, no. So, what'd you want to see me for?
Juan Pablo: Carlos, have you seen the news tonight?
Carlos: Not yet. I've been working at the gallery all night on something. Why?
Juan Pablo: The police have discovered Michael Cambias' body. Someplace down by the docks.
Carlos: You got any beer?
Juan Pablo: I do.
Carlos: So, did the cops say who the killer was?
Juan Pablo: How did you know he was murdered?
Carlos: You just said so.
Juan Pablo: No. What I said was that he turned up dead.
Carlos: Well, when you end up like Cambias did, it's usually not because of natural causes, right?
Juan Pablo: Right.
Carlos: What? You think I had something to do with it?
Juan Pablo: Did you?
Carlos: How can you ask me that?
Juan Pablo: I ask you because I know how you feel about rapists. Has that changed?
Carlos: No, it hasn't changed, Juan Pablo. I think -- I think Michael Cambias deserved what he got for what he did to poor Bianca Montgomery.
Juan Pablo: And when you were 14, you killed Sergio for raping Estrelia.
Carlos: That's right. That's right, I did. I did. And I would do it again.
Juan Pablo: Carlos, did you do it again? Did you kill Michael Cambias?
Myrtle: Tell your mother Iím sorry I missed her.
Bianca: Ok, I will do that. Maybe next time you see her, you can read her palm.
Myrtle: Oh, I'd be delighted now I've got my mojo.
Bianca: Myrtle, you never lost your mojo, and I don't know what I would do without it or you.
Myrtle: Don't you flatter me.
Bianca: I'm not flattering you. You know how to love unconditionally, and I want to do that, too.
Myrtle: Well, when it happens, you can't help it. That's why you know it's real. Now, Iíll be in touch.
Bianca: Ok. Wonderful.
Myrtle: Take care.
Myrtle: Oh, Jackson, the man I love to meet.
Jack: Well, how nice of you, Myrtle. Good to see you.
Myrtle: I'm leaving. Don't keep her up. She needs her sleep.
Jack: Yes, ma'am.
Bianca: Thank you, Myrtle. Goodbye.
Bianca: Hello, Uncle Jack.
Jack: Hi, sweetheart.
Bianca: Mom's not here.
Jack: What time do you expect her?
Bianca: Maybe an hour?
Jack: Ok, well, I'd like to wait, if that's ok with you. I don't want to get on Myrtleís bad side.
Bianca: Oh, no. You know, I wouldn't risk it if I were you.
Jack: So, how you doing?
Bianca: I'm ok.
Jack: Good. That lipstick Myrtle --
Bianca: Thank you.
Jack: Come here, you. I love you so much.
Bianca: You know, Uncle Jack, you don't -- you don't seem like yourself. Is there something wrong, something you're not telling me?
Simone: We were inches away. Liza was just reeling her in.
Mia: God, we almost had her, too.
Liza: You know, you showed up with all that news about Michael, and the whole thing fell apart.
Greenlee: You weren't really going to accept her conditions, were you? A wedding shower after she's married?
Mia: That's pretty backwards.
Greenlee: Mia, the whole thing's sick, even for Kendall.
Liza: Honestly, nobody's celebrating anything about Michael except his death.
Mia: Yeah, well, Kendallís not ready to do that.
Simone: And we still have nothing.
Mia: And she still has Fusion.
Simone: Actually, if Kendall is arrested for Michaelís murder, then we could get Fusion back, right?
Mia: Unless it gets tied up in frozen assets forever.
Greenlee: There's got to be another option.
Liza: I can't think of one.
Simone: I need a man.
Mia: What? Now? Oh, please.
Liza: Honestly, is that your answer to everything?
Simone: Well, what if it is?
Mia: Simone, we are so tired of roping you in.
Simone: What sounds better to you -- me sitting here moping around with you guys, eating mocha almond fudge, seeing how my life has hit yet another dead end, or getting it on with a really gorgeous guy?
Mia: There's got to be some middle ground.
Simone: Yeah, and Greenleeís found it.
Greenlee: I have?
Simone: Uh-huh. Look at you. You're, like, the only one of us that's not depressed, and that's because you've got Juan Pablo to distract you.
Liza: Maybe you're on to something.
Mia: Whoa -- you're agreeing with Simone?
Liza: Maybe the idea of mindless sex sounds intriguing.
Greenlee: I'm not having mindless sex or any sex for that matter.
Simone: Yeah? Well, you could if you wanted to. All I'm saying is that a little happy time at my place would help me forget about what a backstabber Kendall is.
Greenlee: No, it wouldnít.
Simone: Yes, it would.
Greenlee: Don't kid yourself.
Ofc. Morrison: It took some doing, but I got the lowdown on this place.
Lt. Perry: Yeah? Is the owner en route?
Ofc. Morrison: Not exactly.
Lt. Perry: Hold on. You have to wait outside with the rest of the press, Mr. Grey.
Edmund: Oh, come on, Lieutenant. If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't find Cambias. I made the phone call. You'd be still looking for him.
Lt. Perry: Probably. But we'll do this my way. And I wouldn't want your fellow reporters to accuse me of favoritism.
Edmund: They'll get over it, believe me.
Lt. Perry: Don't push this. I might decide you're obstructing justice since you can't seem to remember how you found out about this dump.
Edmund: I got a deadline.
Lt. Perry: Don't miss it. Spill. Who's this operation belong to?
Ofc. Morrison: That's the thing, Lieutenant. The building was bought this morning by Michael Cambias' bride, Kendall Hart.
Lt. Perry: Really? Well, that's quite a coincidence, don't you think?
Kendall: Boyd, it's me. Not good. They found Michaelís body. I'm trying to, Iím trying to, but -- yeah. You know what to do, right? Ok. I don't know. I have no idea, but it's only a matter of seconds before they start looking for me. Yeah, I will. Ok, you, too. Bye.
Ryan: Wow. That was an earful.
Erica: Ryan. Ryan, is that you? Am I imagining things?
Ryan: No, no, no, you're not imagining anything, Erica. It's me. I'm real. See?
Erica: Oh, yeah, it's you.
Ryan: I really -- I got to say I didn't expect to see you. There's -- I mean, there's a lot of things that I wanted to say to you about my father.
Erica: And you did. Believe me, you did. You said them in the letter.
Ryan: Well, I tried.
Erica: Oh, you did much more than that, really. And it meant so much to me. Really, it did. Is that why you're here, Ryan? Are you here because of Chris?
Ryan: Oh, no. I'm not here because it's about something else.
Erica: Oh. What, then? What else? What else is it about?
Ryan: I can't really get into it yet. But almost nobody knows that Iím in town, Erica, and I'd really like to keep it that way.
Erica: Yeah, you were always working some angle, Ryan. You haven't changed.
Ryan: Oh, I've changed.
Erica: Does that mean you'll tell me what all this is about?
Ryan: Well, I haven't changed that much.
Erica: I guess not.
Ryan: But I can tell you that this involves Kendall.
Erica: Am I going to get anything more?
Ryan: I just -- I really have to let this play out slowly, but just trust me, in the next few days, this will all be out in the open.
Erica: And until then, you don't want anyone to know that you're in town?
Ryan: If that's not too much to ask.
Erica: Since it's you, my lips are sealed.
Ryan: And they're such beautiful lips.
Erica: Thank you.
Simone: Don't do what? Live? Love? Be happy?
Greenlee: Simone, you've made a career of throwing yourself away.
Simone: Ouch. That hurt.
Mia: That is so typical for you to pass judgment when you're happy and safe with your megabucks boyfriend from Argentina.
Greenlee: I'm sure it looks that way to you.
Mia: Yeah, it does.
Greenlee: Well, it's not that easy. I wish it was.
Mia: Easy? The man is spectacular.
Greenlee: He's still a man. We all know by now that we're not going to find a real relationship or at least build a lasting one resorting to quickies.
Simone: Yeah, well, you got to start someplace.
Greenlee: Yeah, well, I'm not starting on a Posturepedic this time. I don't want to wreck what I have with Juan Pablo.
Simone: Personally, I would love something to wreck, but Iím fresh out of relationships to destroy.
Mia: Me, too.
Simone: Although, I do believe that there is that right guy for me and he is out there someplace.
Greenlee: Hiding, if he knows what's good for him.
Simone: You know what? I am a great catch. We all are. I'm just waiting for the endorphin rush.
Greenlee: Well, in the meantime, get on with your lives and stop being man hunters.
Simone: Yeah, she says before she waddled back into her cave.
Greenlee: That's right. I'm out of here.
Simone: Oh. I hate it when she gets all uppity like that.
Mia: You're just jealous.
Simone: Yeah, that, too.
Liza: You know, it does sound nice, though -- just forgetting about everything just for one night.
Mia: Or for seven minutes.
Simone: Well, ladies, speak for yourselves because I am totally ready to throw myself into the arms of the next man I see.
Tad: Hey, guys. I was wondering who was up here.
Juan Pablo: Carlos, you didn't answer me. Did you kill Michael Cambias?
Carlos: No -- I didn't answer you.
Juan Pablo: Why not?
Carlos: Because I have a question for you, big brother. If I did kill Michael Cambias, who cares?
Juan Pablo: You don't mean that.
Carlos: I don't? He's sick. He's a sadist and a rapist, just like our friend Sergio was.
Juan Pablo: Maybe he was. But we're not in Argentina anymore, and we don't have the family close by.
Carlos: Just don't worry about it --
Juan Pablo: Carlos, I need to know if you were involved --
Carlos: And I --
Juan Pablo: So I can help you.
Carlos: Look, you just need to stay out of this, ok?
Juan Pablo: Why?
Carlos: Don't be touching me!
Juan Pablo: What did you have to do with it?
Carlos: Don't worry about it. There's nothing for us to talk about.
Edmund: So that's basically everything I found out, all right? As I was leaving, Lt. Perry started talking about obstruction of justice and who owned the building.
Ryan: So the cops are all over Kendall.
Edmund: Let's just say she's a prime suspect.
Ryan: This was not the way it was supposed to go down, Edmund, but, man, I'm going to have my welcome home party without Michael Cambias, that's all.
Edmund: He wouldn't have added much.
Ryan: He's going to play his part, dead or alive.
Edmund: All right, well, listen to me -- sooner rather than later, ok? You can't stay underground forever, Ryan.
Ryan: No, no, no, it's almost time. You know what?
Ryan: If the people of this town think finding a frozen stiff in a meat locker is major, wait till they get a load of what I got in store for them.
Bianca: Uncle Jack, you're stalling. Look, if something happened, I want to hear about it before Mom gets home.
Jack: Yeah? I think maybe you should wait until she gets home, Bianca, because it has to do with Michael Cambias.
Bianca: Oh, no. He's back again, right? He -- he came back in town and -- did he threaten me or anything like that?
Jack: No, he's -- he's here, Bianca, but believe me, sweetheart, he will never threaten you or anybody else again.
Bianca: Well, you can't be sure about that.
Jack: Yes, I can be sure about that. He's dead. I saw the body myself.
Bianca: How did he die?
Jack: Well, that hasn't been determined for sure yet, but, obviously, he was killed.
Bianca: No. No, no, no, no, it can't be.
Jack: Yeah, I mean, there's no other explanation.
Bianca: But that's not possible. It can't be true. He can't have been killed. Kendall said that she saw him alive.
Lt. Perry: Getting a time of death is going to be tricky.
Man: You want a body temperature?
Lt. Perry: I guess. Not that it's going to do us much good. See if you can find out how long this generator was running.
Ofc. Morrison: I'll check it out.
Kendall: I'm Kendall Hart Cambias. I got an emergency phone call saying I should come down here.
Officer: Acting Police Chief Derek Frye is on his way.
Second officer: But for now, you can speak with Lt. Perry.
Lt. Perry: You Mrs. Cambias?
Lt. Perry: Lt. Perry, Homicide. You'll need to prepare yourself.
Kendall: I'm already prepared. I heard it on the news. I heard that you found my husband here. It's all over the place. There's people speculating, reporters camped outside my house. It's disgusting. I had to work my way through a crowd of people just to get here.
Lt. Perry: I apologize for that. It's the kind of case that gets a lot of attention.
Kendall: How about some compassion for the widow?
Lt. Perry: I -- Iím sorry for your loss.
Kendall: Yeah, that makes you a party of one. Where is he?
Lt. Perry: Inside.
Kendall: Ok. I'm ready to see him.
Lt. Perry: Can we ask you a few questions first?
Kendall: Why? What's going on?
Lt. Perry: Actually, I was hoping you could help us with that, you know, maybe piece a few things together.
Kendall: Are you kidding me? My husband is dead. Now get the hell out of my way and let me see Michael. Oh, my God. Oh, God.
Lt. Perry: Looks like the honeymoon's over, Mrs. Cambias.
>> On the next "All My Children" --
Tad: You're prescribing mindless sex and one-night stands to me.
David: Cambias is dead. They just found his body.
Lena: That took long enough.
Opal: What kind of deviltry were you up to the night that Michael Cambias disappeared?
Kendall: How could he still be alive?
