(Missing first few minutes)

David: Just give me whatever you have on tap.

Aidan: You bastard.

David: Oh, for crying out loud. Aidan, I am not in the mood, all right?

Aidan: I just got back from Vegas.

David: Really? So, did you hit the jackpot? Did you roll the dice, come up with snake eyes, a.k.a. Michael Cambias?

Aidan: To hell with Michael Cambias. I went down to the police station to see Anna.

David: And?

Aidan: And the police sergeant said that she'd resigned and left town, but you probably already knew that.

David: Yes, I did, Aidan. She packed up her bags. She left town to be with Robin. She's not coming back, but before you go off on me on one of your rants, I admit it's my fault she's gone.

Aidan: She deserves so much better.

David: You're absolutely right, Aidan. I could not be the man that she needed me to be. I shut her out. I kept things from her. I compromised her integrity, her career. I hurt her over and over again. I gave her hope and yanked it away.

Aidan: My aunt would have been better off if she had never laid eyes on you.

David: No question, I am without a doubt the worst thing that ever happened to Anna. It is a strange thing, you know? All that time I was worried that our marriage wouldn't be able to survive the loss of Leora, but in the end, what it couldn't survive was me.

Aidan: Can't blame her for wanting to get the hell away from you, really.

David: I may be the main reason why Anna left, but I'm not the only reason. She left also because of Michael Cambias.

Maggie: Bianca, this is a check made out to you.

Bianca: I know. I know it is. It's blood money from Michael. He thinks that he can buy me off and take my child.

Maggie: Did you even read this?

Bianca: I don't need to read it. I know what it says. It's threats. God, how did he even know that Iím pregnant?

Maggie: Bianca, this is not a check from Michael Cambias.

Bianca: What are you talking about?

Maggie: This is from his father.

Bianca: That's not possible. His father is dead.

Maggie: No, no. Sit down, I'll read it to you. Come here. "Dear Ms. Montgomery, by the time you read this, I will no longer be living. I've come to the end of my life filled with shame due to the unspeakable things my son Michael has done. Worst of all and most unforgivable is what he did to you. I'm not foolish enough to believe that money will in any case ease your pain. This is the last act of a dying man, given in hopes that you will use it to help heal your soul. I have sent a matching amount to a national crisis center that helps other women learn to cope with what they and you have endured. Please accept my apologies for my son's inhumanity. With my dying breath, I'll pray you find the strength to face your future without fear. May God be with you. Sincerely, Alexander Cambias." Well, I guess he was a half-decent man.

Bianca: "Find the strength to face your future without fear."

Maggie: Which is exactly what you're going to do.

Bianca: Alexander Cambias was ashamed of his own son.

Maggie: Well, yeah, of course.

Bianca: He was ashamed of his own son.

Maggie: Bianca, don't get into this now.

Bianca: Kendall was here. With my mother.

Maggie: Kendall? Why?

Bianca: My mom wants me to terminate the pregnancy. Kendall overheard, and she detonated.

Maggie: That is the last thing you need right now.

Bianca: You should have seen them, Maggie. My mother was so desperate. It's like she's fighting for her own life, and Kendall is so angry; and the two of them -- it's like they seem so tough, but in fact they carry around the shame constantly for their whole lives.

Maggie: They are not --

Bianca: But I'm afraid that my child is going to have that shame, too, that that is the curse that Michael Cambias has put on this child and put on me and it is what we will all have to live with for the rest of our lives.

Kendall: I'm totally ashamed to admit this, but I was drawn to Michael Cambias because of Erica.

Edmund: How do you explain that?

Kendall: Well, it's no secret that Erica hates me because I was her child of rape. I mean, she never misses a chance to throw that in my face; but, I mean, who could blame her? I mean, every time she looked at me, she saw a walking reminder of the worst night of her life.

Edmund: So you marrying Michael, you taking over your mother's company -- this was a form of payback?

Kendall: No, actually, it's my way of moving on. After years of trying to win my mother's approval and getting smacked down, I -- I finally got the message. I don't deserve my mother's love. Or the love of anyone with a heart and a conscience. So I turned to the one person I do deserve -- Michael Cambias.

Edmund: The man who raped your sister?

Kendall: Yeah. It's pretty sick, huh? Must be a cry for help or something, but not that anyone would come running. I mean, Ericaís already hammered into me that I am my father's daughter, so wouldn't it make sense that I would go after a man who was just like my father? If anyone should have seen that coming, it's Erica.

Erica: Oh, I should have seen this coming.

Greenlee: What?

Erica: This little act of yours, pretending that you actually care about Bianca.

Jack: Ok, you know what, Greenlee, maybe you should go.

Greenlee: I do care. I hate what happened to her.

Erica: Oh, Greenlee, please. You live for catastrophe, and when one isn't in the works, then you create it.

Jack: Ok, Erica, I know this isn't why you're here.

Greenlee: What the hell is that supposed to mean?

Erica: Well, the first thing that comes to mind is the little tantrum that you threw at my wedding, and you destroyed it. I guess you were very pleased with your performance.

Greenlee: Believe it or not, I cringe when I think about it.

Erica: Well, you should. You embarrassed yourself in front of the entire town.

Greenlee: Want to know what's even more embarrassing? Your blackmail scheme to keep me from finding out that Jackson is my father.

Erica: Now that you mention it, now that you bring up the subject, Iím sure that you will recall blackmailing my daughter Bianca, threatening to out her.

Greenlee: How long ago --

Jack: That's it! That's enough! Both of you, stop!

Erica: Does it matter?

Jack: Stop!

Greenlee: Sorry --

Jack: Stop.

Greenlee: Sorry, Daddy.

Erica: You allow her to call you that?

Jack: I'm going to say it one more time, stop with this.

Greenlee: Pops and I have bonded in a major father-daughter way, and we plan on spending even more quality time getting to know each other. Thank you for being the good guy deep down I knew you were. Bye.

Erica: Look, I can see this was a mistake, my deciding to come here.

Jack: And why is that?

Erica: Because it's really clear now to me that you don't have the time anymore to deal with Bianca because Greenlee has velcroed herself to you.

Jack: Oh, no, no, no, don't even try that with me, Erica.

Erica: Try what?

Jack: Try making this a competition and being jealous of this insecure young woman. You know what? You're better than that.

Erica: Insecure? Excuse me, I don't think so. She certainly did not seem insecure when she stormed into our wedding and destroyed it.

Jack: No, what destroyed our wedding was you lying to me!

Erica: No, what destroyed our wedding was Greenleeís mother, Mary, lying to you. Let's just get that straight.

Jack: No, you know what? Let's just -- give me this thing. Let's just not do this, ok? Thank you. Now, what's going on with Bianca? I mean, we all had such a great time in the park, I --

Erica: Ok. This afternoon, Bianca went to see the doctor about her pregnancy options.

Jack: Has she decided what she wants to do?

Erica: No. She says that she's still not sure. Jack, I -- I tried so hard to make Bianca understand that there really is only one thing that she can do; and time is really running out, Jack. Bianca has to terminate this pregnancy. We have to make her see that.

David: There were several aspects of the Cambias case that were hitting way too close to home for Anna.

Aidan: Yeah, like you destroying evidence and teaming up with Erica to get rid of Michael.

David: Erica is not a part of this.

Aidan: Erica's datebook puts her at the scene the night old Mikey disappeared.

David: All right, fine. Draw your own conclusions, but the fact is this -- Anna left because she felt she was getting way too personally involved in this case. She took herself off the case and out of my life.

Aidan: You forced her out, David.

David: There might be some truth to that, Aidan, but in the end, it was her decision, and I couldn't do anything to stop her; but, hey, I mean, you should be buying rounds for the entire house. Didn't you always want Anna to ditch me? Well, now she's gone.

Aidan: She'll be a damned sight better off.

David: That she will be, Aidan my boy. That she will be. Godspeed, Anna, and, hey, here's another great perk for you. Now that Anna and I have gone our separate ways, you and I don't have to cross paths anymore, Agent Special Ops.

Aidan: I'm not done with you, Hayward. I'm going to find out what happened to Cambias, and if foul play has occurred, I will not hesitate to take you down.

Kendall: Sorry. Thanks.

Edmund: Can I get you something?

Kendall: No, no. I'm fine, thank you. It's just the rejection, you know? You do know, don't you, Edmund? Hugo Marick -- he never claimed you as his son.

Edmund: You can interview me some other time.

Kendall: Right. Right. Ok. Well -- well, you got my story. So, when will it be in print? Will "Tempo" send me a little advance galley?

Edmund: The story's far from written.

Kendall: Oh, really?

Edmund: Uh-huh. It needs a little fleshing out.

Kendall: Fleshing out? Ok, fleshing out. Well, I'm a total carnivore, I sleep in the nude, and I prefer milk chocolate over dark.

Edmund: Something more informative?

Kendall: All right, like what?

Edmund: Like, have you seen your husband since your wedding in Vegas?

Kendall: He calls me several times a day.

Edmund: Hmm. Calls from where?

Kendall: Wherever there's a hostile takeover.

Edmund: And today that hostile takeover would be where?

Kendall: All right. All right, all right, all right. Edmund, you want to know where Michael is? Ok. I'll tell you. My husband is where no one, including you, will ever find him.

Edmund: It would make for a hell of a story.

Kendall: You're not after my story. You're after Michael, just like everyone else in this town. You want to bring him back here and string him up. Well, you know what? You might as well hang me because there's no way in hell Iím ever going to give up my husband. He gave me something in his life that no one ever gave me. He took me the way I am. He didn't judge me. He didn't condemn me. He didn't run out on me. Thanks to Michael, I have a future. He is the one person in this world who believed in me.

Edmund: Believe this -- the interview is over.

Kendall: What, you're not going to print that?

Edmund: It's a waste of pulp, Kendall.

Kendall: What I just told you --

Edmund: Was a pack of lies, all right? Come on. Erica didn't turn on you, and the idea of you being her victim or anyone else's is laughable.

Kendall: But Erica -- I was her victim.

Edmund: Oh, come on. You have the gall to tell me that? You've been playing victim ever since you were her daughter. Do you remember when you turned on Dimitri and you told her that Dimitri had attacked you? Do you remember that? You almost got my brother killed because of that, and then you brought her rapist into town. You forced Erica to face the one man who stole her childhood and haunted her dreams, and now you just topped it all. You married your sister's rapist. How does that feel? Why did you do it? Because you would stick it to Erica where it would hurt her the most.

Kendall: Well, I was hoping to spin some positive PR out of all this, but I guess not, huh? Well, you can't blame the gal for trying.

Edmund: Whatever sick game you're playing, cut it out, Kendall. It's going to bite you.

Kendall: Nothing's going to bite me, Edmund. You know why? Because I'm Mrs. Michael Cambias. I own this town, and anybody who tries to bring me down -- they're going to pay with interest. Now get your butt out of here now before I call somebody and have them throw you out.

Edmund: Ever the lady.

Kendall: Keep on going. Keep on trucking. Keep on trucking. Don't come back. You don't need to come back here. You don't need to show your face here. You don't need to come back here!

Erica: And Bianca was already in agony trying to make this decision, and then Kendallís hysteria, of course, just made things so much worse.

[Phone rings]

Erica: Oh. That's got to be Bianca. Hello? Oh, Val. Yes. Yes, Val, what is it? She what? Val -- Val, you know what? I just -- I can't deal with this right now. I have much more pressing things that I have to take care of right now; but, Val, please, can you just handle this to the best of your ability? Thank you, Val. Do you believe it?

Jack: What now?

Erica: Kendall has stormed my office, taken over Enchantment, and she has ordered that my portrait be burned. Boy, with everything raining down on Bianca, Kendall has just come back true to form.

Jack: Ok, look, you know what? Let's just forget about Kendall for a minute, shall we?

Erica: Of course. Of course, you're right. Look, Jack, we have got to get through to Bianca. Well, you have to get through to her because she adores you, Jack, and she'll listen to you.

Jack: Ok, whoa, whoa, whoa. I take it you have advised her to terminate her pregnancy.

Erica: Yes, yes, of course I have. I mean, she was raped. Yes, I advised her to terminate this pregnancy, and, Jack, you have to back me up.

Jack: No. No, Erica, I don't.

Maggie: Bianca, come on, let's just get out of here. We can go to my --

Bianca: There is no escape. Everybody is affected by my decision -- my mother and Kendall, a dead man. I mean, everyone -- there's all these voices telling me what I should do and what's best. When did this stop being my life? When I -- when Michael Cambias raped me and I found out that I was carrying his child, that is his hold on me. That will be his hold on me forever.

Maggie: Listen to me. He is never going to hurt you ever again.

Bianca: Everybody keeps saying that, Maggie, but it's just not true. He is, and he will; and if he finds out that Iím pregnant, he will come after me. He will find me. There is nowhere that I can go to escape it. He will find me -- oh! Oh, my God.

Maggie: What's wrong?

Bianca: Oh, my God.

Aidan: Kendall? Hey, we need to talk.

Kendall: Sorry, Aidan, I'm all talked out for now.

Aidan: No, I am serious.

Kendall: What's wrong?

Aidan: My aunt, the chief of police, has left town because of Cambias and his cover-ups.

Kendall: So Annaís gone after him?

Aidan: She's washed her hands of him and of the case and his cover-ups.

Kendall: Aidan, there are no cover-ups, ok? That's just your paranoia.

Aidan: No, I don't think so, Kendall. You know I just got back from Vegas?

Kendall: Well, I hope you caught the Cirque du Soleil.

Aidan: No, I didn't because I spent most of my time talking to the bellhops and the maids and the concierge at the hotel that you supposedly honeymooned at.

Kendall: Well, don't you just love the 24-hour room service? Nothing is more decadent than having Belgian waffles at 3:00 a.m.

Aidan: And I showed Michaelís picture around, and I spoke to the hotel staff to see whether it was him that you roomed with.

Kendall: And?

Aidan: I came up with two positive IDs.

Kendall: Well, of course you did because I was with Michael -- in every since of the word.

Aidan: Damn it, Kendall, I went to Vegas to prove that you didn't marry Michael.

Kendall: Well, at least now you know I didn't bump him off.

Aidan: Look, I care about you and you care about me, and we used to be a good team up until now.

Kendall: Nothing's changed.

Aidan: Yes, you have. I don't know who you are anymore. Why would you go hook up with Cambias again?

Kendall: Money?

Aidan: No. You wouldn't sell your soul that cheap.

Kendall: Maybe you don't know me as well as you think you do.

Aidan: What is it with you, Kendall? I know you're in there, and I want you back, because I miss you.

Kendall: This is me, sweetie. I warned you. I warned you Iím out for myself. Now you have the proof.

Aidan: Proof?

Kendall: Yes, the proof. I went to Vegas, I married Michael. Deal with it. Everything Iíve done up till now -- the friends that I've trashed, the lives that I've trashed, the friends that I turned on -- it was all a means to an end -- power, money, prestige.

Aidan: Tell me, was it worth it?

Kendall: Well, that's the best part. Look around, Aidan. Look around. This is all mine now. Everything that my mother has worked for belongs to me. It's mine. I won.

Aidan: Did you?

Kendall: Yeah. Hell, yeah, I did; and you -- you were right. I did have to sell my soul to do it, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. So you might as well give up on me. There's nothing here you want.

[Phone rings]

David: David Hayward.

Maggie: David, it's Maggie. I'm with Bianca. Something's wrong. I think it's the baby.

David: Where are you?

Maggie: I'm at Ericaís.

David: Have her lie down.

Maggie: She is, she is.

David: All right, do whatever you can to keep her calm. I'll be there as soon as I can.

Maggie: You're going to be ok. He's on his way. I promise you, everything is going to be all right.

Erica: Jack, don't tell me that you think Bianca should go to term with this pregnancy.

Jack: No, no, now, I did not say that, either.

Erica: But you just said --

Jack: Listen, personally, I think that she should terminate this pregnancy.

Erica: Oh, thank goodness.

Jack: Come here a second. Sit down, sweetheart. A pregnancy takes a huge physical and emotional toll on any woman, even if it is a wanted, planned-for pregnancy. In Biancaís case, a pregnancy postrape -- my greatest fear is that this is going to trigger a relapse in her anorexia; and for that reason, yeah, you know what -- if it was up to me, I think that she should have this pregnancy terminated today.

Erica: Oh, Jack, you have to tell her this.

Jack: No, I will do no such thing.

Erica: But you just said --

Jack: Let me tell you why. Whatever choice she makes, this is a decision that she is going to have to live with for the rest of her life. Not your life, not my life, her life. This decision is hers and hers alone to make, Erica.

Erica: Yes, I know that. I really know that, but won't you even talk to her?

Jack: No. Adding my opinion is only going to add to the pressure that she already feels. Look, I will be there to love her and support her no matter what her decision is, but I will not make this harder for her than it already is.

Erica: Are you saying that I was wrong to counsel my daughter?

Jack: Yeah. Yeah, I guess that is what Iím saying.

Greenlee: I hope it wasn't too late to call you.

Juan Pablo: It's never too late.

Greenlee: Something else your father taught you?

Juan Pablo: Something life taught me. What's this place?

Greenlee: Home of the best bacon cheeseburger in town. Thank you. I'm treating you to an all-American pig-out -- French fries, shakes, apple pie. Well, it can't compare to the taglioni con -- whatever we could have had in Milan, but it's my way of saying grazie.

Juan Pablo: Prego, but it's not necessary.

Greenlee: Yes, it is. You helped me get the truth out of my mother.

Juan Pablo: It was a hard truth for you to face.

Greenlee: But I'm dealing. I'm better.

Juan Pablo: I can see that. What happened?

Greenlee: I went to my dad, told him the whole story, how Mary lied, and he said everything a father should say.

Juan Pablo: What?

Greenlee: Just calling Jackson "Dad" just seems right. Juan Pablo, there's another reason I wanted to see you. I have a proposition.

Juan Pablo: A proposition? I'm intrigued.

Greenlee: Well, as you know, Fusion is in crisis, and I went there tonight to do some major damage control.

Juan Pablo: Si.

Greenlee: Tried to finesse Kendall into sharing some of her power. She wonít. She won't even share as much as a paper clip.

Juan Pablo: So what are your options?

Greenlee: Well, giving up the business that was my brainchild is not one of them. In less than a year, I managed to turn a struggling cosmetics company into a major vendor; and once the winner of the Sexiest Man Contest is announced, our stocks are going to skyrocket. Fusion is my baby, and Iíll do whatever it takes to get it back.

Juan Pablo: This is where your proposition comes in?

Greenlee: Mm-hmm. Juan Pablo, remember when you came to town, you claimed that you were a potential investor in Fusion?

Juan Pablo: Yes, and I offered to help you get your company back from Michael Cambias.

Greenlee: Does that offer still stand?

Juan Pablo: What are you asking me?

Greenlee: I want to buy Kendall out, but I can't do it on my own. Will you help me?

Aidan: Ok, you win. Although, what you're winning is beyond me.

Kendall: Finally. Maybe at least now you'll get off my back so I can go and kick-start this company into the 21st century. You can go now, Aidan.

Aidan: I don't believe this is you.

Kendall: Believe it. Well, Val, it's about damn time. Listen, will you please take that monument to Ericaís ego down to the incinerator?

Val: Secure all other entrances into this building. Boys, do your stuff.

Kendall: Wait a minute. No, wait. Wait a minute. What the hell do you goons think you're doing?

Val: Clearly, Kendall, they are securing this office and escorting you out.

Kendall: No. No. Excuse me, not in this lifetime. Do you know who I am? I am Mrs. Michael Cambias. I own this joint. Stay away from me, both of you, now! I am going to have your little pin-on badges for this!

Erica: So you don't think that I have any right to counsel my own daughter? But, Jack, I know firsthand what Bianca is going through and the pain she's going to face if she doesn't terminate.

Jack: Yes, but, Erica, that is your pain. That is your experience. Now, Bianca is not you, ok? And you have no idea -- you can't know -- how she's going to deal with this.

Erica: I know that. Believe me, I really do know that, but there's no need for her to suffer. There's no need for her to have any of the pain that I have had. I can't allow it.

Jack: You don't have the right to stop it. You have to let Bianca make her own decision. If you pressure her, she is going to do exactly what she has always done.

Erica: What's that?

Jack: She's going to shut down. She's going to try to please everyone around her, take care of everyone around her except herself. She's done this since she was a child, Erica. She has never dealt with her feelings. She never got to feel what she should feel, and then you know what happens. She quits eating. She quits nurturing herself. She becomes anorexic.

Erica: Oh, Jack, we just can't let that happen again.

Jack: No, then let Bianca do what she needs to do. Let her feel what she needs to feel. Trust me on this, ok? And trust your daughter.

Bianca: David?

David: How's the pain?

Bianca: It's gone now.

David: Good, and there's no bleeding. Your vitals are strong. When was the last time you had something to eat?

Bianca: I ate at the picnic.

David: And when was that?

Maggie: Lunchtime, hours ago.

David: Maggie, would you do me a favor and fix something for Bianca to eat, please?

Maggie: Yeah. There's a lot of stuff left over. I'll be right back.

David: Great.

Bianca: So, what's wrong with me?

David: My best guess is the pain is a result of nervous exhaustion and an empty stomach.

Bianca: So Iím -- I'm not going to miscarry?

David: No, and how do you feel about that?

Bianca: Well, my mother wants me to terminate the pregnancy, and I can't make up my mind; and I thought when the pain started --

David: You were hoping the decision had been made for you.

Greenlee: I need money to get Fusion away from Kendall. Lots of it. I can liquidate part of my trust and my mother's, but the capital can't be touched.

Juan Pablo: How much more do you need?

Greenlee: Your investment will be protected. I'll have my lawyers draw up a contract, along with a payment schedule. I own the loft I live in, so I could put that up for collateral, along with my jewelry and my car; but if you're not interested, that's cool, ok? A "no" will not ruin our friendship. Is that a no? What?

Juan Pablo: I love seeing this side of you.

Greenlee: Love it enough to back it?

Juan Pablo: You have a deal.

Kendall: You know what, Val? You need to take a serious spa day because obviously none of this has sunk in. Did you hear me? I am Mrs. Michael Cambias. My husband owns this operation, and he put me in charge here. Now, if you do not get rid of these gorillas right now, you will not only be spending a night in jail, you will be spending a night in jail with a she-male named Thumper.

Val: Oh, well, that's attractive, Kendall, but I take my orders from Ms. Kane.

Kendall: Groovy. Great. Well, Ms. Kane can bail you out, then.

Val: Wait. Jimmy, Stan, let's go. Come on.

Kendall: Go. By the way, Mr. Val, you're fired.

Val: Just one minute. I'll just be taking this with me.

Kendall: Fine. Go ahead. Suit yourself. Great. Now, just get him out of here now, escort him to the car, and frisk him for office supplies.

Val: You will never replace Erica -- ever! Get away from me.

Kendall: You know what? I don't have to listen to you. Go tell it to your aromatherapist! I am Mrs. Michael Cambias. I am Mrs. Michael Cambias. I have it all. I have won.

Erica: But, Jack, the problem is, if we let Bianca make this decision on her own --

Jack: Whoa, Bianca is not a child. It's not a question of letting her.

Erica: Given her state of mind, she could make the wrong decision, Jack; and it would be one that she would regret for the rest of her life.

Jack: Then we stand by her, we support her right on down the line, and we help her any way we can. Now, listen to me, please, I want you just to listen to your heart and do what you know is right. Let Bianca make this decision for herself, for her own good, for her own peace of mind, Erica.

David: What's this?

Bianca: Oh, that's a letter from Michael Cambias' father. He wanted me to face my future without fear.

David: That's really great advice. That's what we all want for you, Bianca.

Bianca: I don't need any more advice. What I need is --

Maggie: Chow time. So, we have cold chicken, cole slaw, soda, and ice cream.

David: All right, Bianca, dig in.

Bianca: I canít.

Maggie: Why don't you start with the ice cream and work your way backwards.

Bianca: No, I mean I can't do this anymore. I need to make a decision.

David: There's plenty of time to decide, Bianca.

Bianca: You know what? The more time I take, the harder this decision is and the more confused and the more scared I get. I know what I have to do.

>> On the next "All My Children" --

Greenlee: I just don't want to be one in an endless chorus line of ladies in your life.

Bianca: I have explored all of my options, but this is really the only choice that I can make.
