(Missing first ten minutes)

Kendall: But I did pick up your dresses, I called and confirmed times with the caterer, the florist, the car service.

Erica: Yes, you were part of my wedding party, and you were a big help.

Kendall: Yeah, I did something else, too, didn't I? What was it?

Erica: Donít.

Kendall: Oh, right. I kept your secret -- you know, the one about Greenlee being Jacksonís daughter. Do you remember asking for my help, for my discretion? Oh, no, of course you could never turn to Bianca. You wouldn't dare tarnish her image of you, but you could turn to me, the liar and the cheat. You could show me your true feelings, and why not? I mean, you don't care what I think. I don't matter to you.

Erica: That's not true, and you know it. In fact, that's --

Kendall: It's what, a lie?

Erica: I gave you a choice. You could've told Jack about Greenlee anytime you wanted to.

Kendall: But I didn't, did I?

Erica: No.

Kendall: I chose you. I was there for you. I stood up for you. I kept your secret, and you said you'd never forget it. You actually gave me a hug, and you told me that -- you thanked me for it. You even gave me Mona's pearls. Do you remember that, Mother?

Erica: Yes, I do, and that was all before you turned around, and you betrayed us. You married Michael Cambias. Look, if you want to discuss all this, I will do that with you, ok, but not now. This is not the time.

Kendall: Oh, it's never the time when it's about me.

Erica: Kendall, this is not the time. You barged in here. I was in the middle of a -- of a personal and very private conversation with Bianca. No, this is not about you.

Kendall: I heard you. You were talking about me. Don't deny it. I heard you. You want Bianca to get rid of her baby the same way you wish you had gotten rid of me.

Mary: You made a fool of me and strung me along for your own perverse amusement.

Juan Pablo: Is that what you think happened here?

Mary: You asked me to come back to your room! You led me to believe there was something beginning between us, and that's why I made myself available to you.

Juan Pablo: Yes, you were set up. Was it unfair? Perhaps. Do I feel sorry for you? No.

Mary: Oh, Mr. Ruiz, you've grown accustomed to toying with women who will disappear quietly when you've gotten what you want from them. I'm not one of those women.

Juan Pablo: I see.

Mary: No, I don't think you do. I have friends that travel in the same circles as you, and should they learn of your recent indiscretion, your reputation will be severely damaged.

Juan Pablo: What reputation? My appreciation for beautiful women is well-known.

Mary: Promiscuity is more like it. Your slick accent can't cover up the way you treat women.

Juan Pablo: With respect? Any woman you speak to will tell you the same thing -- we parted sadly but well, as friends should.

Mary: Ah, really?

Juan Pablo: Yes, but you cannot say that, can you? It must be a very lonely way to live.

Mary: Save your sympathy, Juan Pablo. You've made a mistake with the wrong person this time, and if you don't rectify it immediately, you're going to be the one who's sorry.

Reggie: Yes. Oh -- ok, all right, all right. Oh, come on, come on! Go, go. Jump, jump, jump, jump -- go -- wait. Wait, go, go, go, go, go -- oh.

Greenlee: Reggie --

Reggie: What? I mean, it was an accident.

Greenlee: Oh, never mind. Could you just stop playing that thing for five minutes?

Reggie: Ok. What else am I supposed to do?

Greenlee: Go read a book someplace else, like your room or Istanbul.

Reggie: You got jokes. You carry a lot of makeup. Is this all yours?

Greenlee: I run a cosmetics company.

Reggie: Oh.

Greenlee: They're samples -- you know that -- and they're not for you.

Reggie: Fine.

[Hip-hop music plays]

[Greenlee turns music off]

Reggie: Ok, I was listening to that.

Greenlee: Touch it and Iíll break your arm.

Reggie: Oh, if you don't like it, you can go wait in the hallway.

Greenlee: Don't tell me what to do.

Reggie: Well, I think I just did.

Greenlee: This is my father's loft.

Reggie: Oh, I know you're not too big on sharing, but I'm just as legal as you are. Now that I think about it, maybe more.

Greenlee: Oh, my God. Jackson adopted you.

Reggie: Yeah, that's right, Green Pea; and if you think you was going to come over and ruin the ceremony, you're too late. Give your brother a hug. Come on.

Greenlee: No, I don't --

Reggie: I know you -- yes, you do.

Greenlee: I don't do hugs.

Reggie: Yes, you do. Yes, you do. I'm just your big brother --

Jack: Well, well, well, look what we have here.

Reggie: Yeah, you know it. Oh, no, I don't mind, not at all. I'll -- go ahead.

Jack: Reggie, could you give us a couple of minutes, please?

Reggie: Whatever, ok? A few minutes.

Jack: So, what did you need to talk to me about? Need some free legal advice, do you?

Greenlee: No, no. Um -- when I was at the Valley Inn the other day, I was with my mother, and you came up to our table, and I was, well, sort of rude, and I -- um -- well, I wanted --

Reggie: A do-over. That's what she's trying to say. She wants a do-over.

Greenlee: Yes. Exactly. A do-over.

Jack: Reggie -- I am sure whatever reason you had, Greenlee, for being short with me at the Valley Inn, it was a good one, so why don't you just forget about the apology, have a seat.

Greenlee: I totally had the wrong idea about you, Jackson.

Jack: Really? And what idea was that?

Greenlee: My mother told me something about you, and I know should've known better than to believe anything she says --

Jack: But you did.

Greenlee: Yeah. Turns out it was another lie.

Jack: What --

Reggie: Anybody thirsty? I sure am. You know, a good, nice little glass -- well, you know. Ah -- a pitcher of iced tea. Good, great.

Greenlee: No, thanks.

Reggie: Sure.

Jack: Reggie, do me a favor -- why don't you drink that in your room, please?

[Reggie slurps]

Jack: Ooh.

Reggie: Sure, I'll just go right in there, you know. Going to get a CD first.

[Reggie slurps]

Reggie: Mmm.

Jack: He's adjusting.

Greenlee: To what, table manners? Sorry.

Jack: So, you say your mother lied to you? What was this lie she told you? Greenlee, I imagine that's why you came over here, so why don't you just tell me what it was.

Greenlee: She said that you knew about me all along, from before I was born.

Jack: What? What did your mother tell you, exactly?

Greenlee: That she wrote you a letter, a real one, like -- you know, not like the one that was forged to break up the wedding -- telling you that she was pregnant with me, but you never responded back.

Jack: I never responded, Greenlee, because I never got a letter like that, because your mother never wrote a letter like that. My God, what kind of parent tells her child a lie like that?

Greenlee: Mine. I was an idiot to fall for it, and you don't know how sorry I am that I gave her the benefit of the doubt.

Jack: Well, you know, she's your mother. You should be able to give her the benefit of a doubt.

Greenlee: She wanted me to think the worst of you, that you turned your back on us, but you didn't even know about me.

Jack: No. No, Greenlee, I didn't. I wish I had. I mean, I look at you, and I see all the things that -- all the times I -- I wish I had.

Greenlee: Finding out that I was your daughter was just as much a surprise to me as it was to you.

Jack: Yeah. I hope it was a pleasant one.

Greenlee: Definitely pleasant. I'm just glad we got her to admit that she was lying.

Jack: Who is this we?

Greenlee: Juan Pablo helped me. I couldn't have done any of this without him.

Juan Pablo: So, you want an apology?

Mary: I deserve more than an apology.

Juan Pablo: If you're hoping I will buy your silence --

Mary: I don't want your money!

Juan Pablo: You're afraid and you're alone. Your father cut off your trust fund.

Mary: He had no right to do that. That was my inheritance.

Juan Pablo: You could have had something more valuable -- a relationship with your daughter.

Mary: My daughter -- you mean the one that deceived me and set me up to look like some desperate, pathetic female?

Juan Pablo: Mary, Greenlee gave you the chance to be her mother. You told her that was what you wanted.

Mary: I did this for her! I chose you because you promised that you would take care of me, so she wouldn't have to do it. I wanted to give her everything so that she would be rid of her terrible mother and could be happy and move on with her life!

Juan Pablo: She needed your trust, not your trust fund.

Mary: Well, now that you've abandoned me, you can ride to her rescue, can't you?

Juan Pablo: Greenlee doesn't need to be rescued. She's strong, not weak or insecure like her mother. You have lost what matters most in your life, and you don't even realize it.

Mary: Excuse me.

Michael: Hello. Following my father's death and the restructuring of Cambias Industries, I wanted to take this opportunity to address the Board Of Advisors.

Ryan: Can you get the audio a little bit clearer or --

Edmund: This is as good as it gets.

Michael: Lately, there have been vicious and unfounded rumors circulating about me, but I can assure you that's all they are. I have been falsely accused of crimes by Erica Kane and Jackson Montgomery, the District Attorney of Pine Valley. This, along with my father's passing, has made for a very difficult time, made bearable only by the --

Ryan: Give it a rest, please.

Michael: Support of my lovely wife, Kendall Hart, who has brought joy and hope to my life. I look forward to leading Cambias Industries into a very profitable future for all of us.

Ryan: And this was posted today?

Edmund: This afternoon. Doesn't mean it was made today.

Ryan: Yeah, and, I mean, it doesn't tell us anything about where the guy's hiding out. You know, the quality of that is a joke.

Edmund: Well, it could be the -- you know, the equipment, the feed.

Ryan: Could be on purpose.

Edmund: What do you mean, like it's a fake?

Ryan: I don't know. I mean, it could be spliced together. I don't know. All depends on what Michael or whoever put this thing together was trying to accomplish.

Edmund: The only person with the answer to that is Michael.

Ryan: Kendall.

Erica: Kendall, Iím sorry, truly, but you overheard something that you shouldn't have; and this is not about you. It's about Bianca.

Kendall: And you -- don't forget that part. You want to make sure Bianca doesn't make the same mistake you did and actually have the poor kid.

Erica: Kendall, please.

Kendall: You know what? I'm really sorry for what happened to you, Erica. I know it was a terrible thing, but I'm not sorry that you had me, and Iím not sorry that I'm here.

Erica: And that's not what I said. Of course I'm not sorry that you're here. Why are you trying to make this a more difficult situation than it already is?

Kendall: Because that's what I do. This is what I do best, isn't it? Especially with you. I mean, just think of all the time you've wasted wishing Iíd never been born.

Erica: Kendall, that is simply not true, and that's enough!

Kendall: Bianca, she's right. You have to get rid of the baby. You have to get rid of the baby right now. Otherwise, I mean, God forbid the child actually grows up and actually wants or needs you to be its mother.

Bianca: Oh, God. You know what, Kendall? I can't deal with this right now!

Erica: Is this how you want to be a part of our family? You want to come in here and bully your way into it? You come in here, and you just act any way that you choose, and you demand all attention at all times, and you demand that we excuse your behavior, even though none of this is about you. You don't care what it costs everybody around you.

Kendall: You know what? I'm never going to be a part of this family. You've made sure of that.

Erica: Me?

Kendall: Yes.

Erica: Oh, you bear no responsibility in this whatsoever? You just spit in your sister's face. You married the man who raped her.

Kendall: Well, girls always go after a man that reminds them of their father. You know that.

Erica: You are disgusting.

Kendall: What do you want me to say, Erica? I am my father's daughter as far as you're concerned.

Erica: You know, I would like to believe in you, Kendall. God knows I would like to believe in you, but you marry Michael Cambias. You come in here, you throw it in our faces. You come in here and you talk the way you do and you show me why I canít.

Kendall: Well, maybe if you just took the time to actually hear me out!

Erica: Hear you out?

Kendall: Yes, instead of just assuming the worst of me and slapping me across the face before I could tell you what really happened with Michael Cambias!

Erica: Well, all right. You have something to tell me? You want to explain something to me? Please, by all means, tell me what it is. Explain to me why you married Michael Cambias.

Kendall: What's the point in telling you now, Erica? You're only going to believe what you want to.

Erica: But you want me to believe something. You want me to. So do, please, tell me, what is it? What is it you want me to think?

Kendall: That maybe I did all this for you.

Erica: Me?

Kendall: Yeah, so that you'd finally love me, but you know what? Now I know that everything you've ever said about wanting me to be a part of your life and a part of your family was a lie! From the moment you found out -- the moment you found out you were pregnant, you wanted me to disappear, and now you want to force Bianca to do the exact same thing!

Erica: No, Kendall, that is just not true. Please, that is enough. I -- I need you to leave.

[Phone rings]

Erica: I said leave.

Bianca: Mom, just calm down.

Kendall: Michael, Hi.

Erica: No, that's impossible. You give me the phone.

Kendall: What the hell are you doing?

Erica: What am I doing?

Kendall: Excuse me. I wanted to talk to him.

Erica: You talk to him somewhere else. Whatever you're trying to do, I want you to stop.

Kendall: You know what, Bianca? She's right. You have got to get rid of that baby now. Otherwise, this is what you have to look forward to for the rest of your life; and then you'll see, Bianca, just how the pain of an unwanted child never ends.

Greenlee: I was a fool to even listen to her.

Jack: No, she is your mother.

Greenlee: Well, that's a fact, not an excuse. You know, she didn't have to lie. I would've given her some of the money that grandfather gave me, eventually.

[Jackson chuckles]

Greenlee: I just wanted to have one parent that I could --

Jack: Count on.

Greenlee: Yeah.

Jack: Well, now you have me.

Reggie: Mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm. What? I'm hungry. Ok, I'm a growing boy. Anybody want some chips?

Greenlee: One, two, three --

Jack: What are you doing?

Greenlee: Counting. I read somewhere where it's supposed to suppress the urge to strangle a younger brother. Four --

Jack: Reggie, please, I'm begging you, ok?

Reggie: Ok, all right. Look, look, if this keeps up, I want my own refrigerator in my room.

Jack: You -- get it, please. You know, you also -- you also have a little sister, Lily.

Greenlee: I know. I want to meet her.

Jack: Oh, I think she'll like you.

Greenlee: Hmm, I hope so.

Jack: Greenlee, I'm sorry that your mother let you down again.

Greenlee: At least now I know. Juan Pablo knew exactly what buttons to push with her.

Jack: Juan Pablo, huh? You're still spending time with him?

Greenlee: He's -- he's someone that I can depend on. Unlike Kendall.

Jack: Kendall. Yeah, Kendall does go out of the way to make things difficult for herself, doesn't she?

Greenlee: Yeah, tell me about it. You know what? You've known her a lot longer than I have. What do you think about this so-called marriage to Michael Cambias?

Jack: On that matter, I have no opinion.

Greenlee: Well, I think it's sick. If they did get married, where is he? Why isn't he here?

Edmund: All right, thanks. My source says a call came in on Cambias' cell phone.

Ryan: You're tracking his calls?

Edmund: Yeah, well, we do what we can. Unfortunately, he's got them routed from Seoul to Stockholm to God knows where, but this one, I think we've pinpointed a recipient.

Ryan: Don't tell me -- Kendall.

Edmund: Well, then, I can't tell you.

Ryan: Yeah. Hey, listen, Edmund, I -- you know I appreciate everything you're doing for me.

Edmund: Listen, forget about it. I'm chasing a story, you know? But you -- what about it, Ryan? What's your connection to Cambias?

Ryan: I'm planning a little something, and I want everybody to be here to see it, especially Michael.

Edmund: Ok. What's next?

Ryan: Everything is pointing to Kendall Hart.

Kendall: Listen to Mom, Binky. I'm the source of all her unhappiness.

Erica: Kendall, if you can't see that Iím trying to help Bianca, I just don't know what else I can say to you.

Kendall: You never know what to say to me, Erica, so I'll say it for you. You hate the fact that abortion was not a legal option for you all those years ago. You hate that you had to have your little child of rape, and, in short, you hate me. Well, let me tell you something. If you think you're sorry for having me now, you ain't seen nothing yet.

Bianca: Do you think that my baby --

Erica: Honey -- Bianca, the thing is it isn't just your baby. It's Michael Cambias' child, just like Kendall is Richard Fields' child; and Kendall has never made peace with that. Kendall hates herself because she -- she knows who he was and what he did to me. Kendall was born with a burden that no child should ever be asked to bear. You have that option now, honey, and you got to consider it.

Bianca: Yeah, you know, I can't right now. I'm so tired.

Erica: Of course you are.

Bianca: I just want to lie down.

Erica: Yeah, I know. I understand, and you should take care of yourself. You have to take care of yourself, Bianca. Oh, I love you.

Bianca: I love you.

Erica: Bianca, please -- just think. Think about how you can prevent this from becoming your life.

Kendall: Damn.

[Phone rings]

Kendall: Hello.

Edmund: Kendall Hart, Edmund Grey. I'm calling about that interview you promised me.

Kendall: Right.

Edmund: I was hoping we could do it tonight, slip you into the next issue.

Kendall: Sounds perfect.

Edmund: We can meet wherever you want. Fine. When? Ok, you got it. I'll see you then. Thank you, Kendall. We're on.

Ryan: Excellent.

Marian: Oh, thank you very much.

Waitress: You're welcome.

Mary: Hi.

Marian: Oh, hello, darling. Did we have plans?

Mary: No, but I've been looking everywhere for you.

Marian: You have? Well, I'm flattered.

Mary: Do you know where Adam is?

Marian: Adam? Darling, Iím married to Stuart, in case you haven't noticed.

Mary: I know who your husband is, Marian.

Marian: For heaven's sake, darling, Stuart and Adam are in Canada.

Mary: What are they doing in Canada?

Marian: They're vacationing in the woods. You know, fishing and so forth. Boys will be boys, even at their age.

Mary: Oh, what am I going to do?

Marian: I don't know. Look, why don't you have dinner with me?

Mary: Here?

Marian: My treat. Oh, darling, please say that you will because Iíve been working in the gallery all day. I'm lonely, I miss Stuart terribly, and I could use the company.

Mary: By the way, do you remember when Stuart was showing the work of a young man a while back, Carlos Reyes?

Marian: Ooh, yes, Carlos. Yummy young man, and his work sold quite well, too.

Mary: Do you know anything about him?

Marian: Mary, I would not get involved with the man my daughter is seeing.

Mary: That's not my interest.

Marian: I have been there.

Mary: No, no, not my interest in Carlos.

Marian: Oh, really? Have you given up breathing as well?

Mary: I just want to know if he's from Argentina.

Marian: Why do you ask?

Mary: Because there's another man in town from Argentina, Juan Pablo Renato Ruiz de Vasquez.

Marian: That is quite a mouthful.

Mary: Yes. I was just wondering if there was a connection between the two.

Carlos: You know, I know why you called me here.

Juan Pablo: Carlos --

Carlos: No, I'm tired of running, Juan Pablo. Even if Sergioís brothers come looking for me, this is my home now. Don't you understand that?

Juan Pablo: Calmate un poco, para -- that's not why I wanted to see you.

Carlos: Then why?

Juan Pablo: I want to talk to you about Greenlee.

Carlos: You told me you and Greenlee are friends, that you're just helping her out.

Juan Pablo: I told you the truth, but the truth now is different.

Carlos: How?

Juan Pablo: Greenlee and I are becoming involved, and I wanted you to hear it from me.

Greenlee: You know, maybe this marriage thing is a lie. Maybe something else happened that night.

Jack: Like what?

Greenlee: Well, Kendall was devastated when Michael walked out of that courtroom a free man. I saw her, Jackson. Her pain was real, just like yours.

Jack: Yeah.

Greenlee: Suppose she did something to Michael, like maybe this marriage is just a cover-up for something.

Jack: You know what, Greenlee? Right at this moment, the last person I want to think about is Michael Cambias.

Greenlee: Yeah, but Kendall must have married Michael for some other reason other than his money. If I could just find out what it is --

Jack: No, no, no. You just stay the hell out of it, ok? Please. Please, I'll take care of Kendall. I don't want you broadcasting your theories about Michael Cambias either, ok? Do you understand me? I mean, anything you might say could only make matters worse.

Greenlee: I don't see how --

Jack: Just please forget Michael Cambias. Forget that this man ever existed. His parents will love you.

Marian: Darling, I really wish I could help you, but I don't know Carlos or his friends that well, but let me suggest if your interest in him is cultural and not carnal, you should really ask Greenlee.

Mary: No, they broke up. She wouldn't want to talk about him.

Marian: Oh. Well, I don't think Adamís going to be any help either, darling. I don't even think he knows Carlos.

Mary: No, that's all right. I wanted to speak to Adam about something else entirely.

Marian: Oh, no, no, darling, no. No, no, you don't want to get involved with Adam, darling. His life is a complete disaster since Michael Cambias took over his company.

Mary: Well, do you know how to reach him, though?

Marian: No. I've tried several times, but the phone hookup isn't what it's supposed to be in the Canadian woods, but they'll be coming back next week. Darling, aren't you going to join me for dinner?

Mary: No, I really can't, but I appreciate everything you've done. Thank you so much.

Marian: But I didn't do anything.

Mary: Darling, thank you. I have to handle this myself. Ta.

Marian: Handle what, darling? Adam? Carlos? Don Juan Pablo? Well, how rude.

Juan Pablo: You need to know my feelings for Greenlee have changed. I wanted them to change, Carlos.

Carlos: Have hers?

Juan Pablo: Yes.

Carlos: Greenlee's -- she's not like the other women you've been with, Juan Pablo.

Juan Pablo: Yes, I know. She could be the one.

Carlos: I hope you mean that.

Juan Pablo: I do.

Carlos: I wish you and Greenlee the best, then.

Juan Pablo: Te amo muchamente.

Carlos: I love you, too.

Edmund: Think you can hang around here without being noticed?

Ryan: Yeah, yeah, yeah. No problem. I spent a lot of time here when my dad was engaged to Erica.

Val: You cannot do this. Put that down. You shouldn't even be here. This is Miss Kaneís office.

Kendall: Who?

Val: I'm calling security.

Kendall: Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh. Miss Kane does not work here anymore, Sparky. This is my company. I own it. That's right, and as my first order, burn that hideous thing.

Val: Are you insane?

[Knock on door]

Edmund: Am I interrupting something?

Kendall: No, not at all. Come on in, Edmund. Val, get Edmund a drink.

Edmund: No, that's ok, thanks.

Kendall: Ok, fine. Suit yourself. Val, out. Out! Hmm. Well, I hope you brought your good tape recorder, Edmund, because you are about to get one hell of an interview. That's right. From the new C.E.O. and owner of Enchantment Cosmetics, Mrs. Kendall Hart Cambias.

Jack: So, I hope you realize that if I had known about you, Greenlee, I would have been there for you.

Greenlee: I believe you.

Jack: Good. Now, there's something I would like for you to do for me, if you would. Would you please just concentrate on Fusion and your Sexiest Man Contest and whatever you and Juan Pablo are up to and just forget about Michael Cambias. I'll take care of Kendall and anything else that comes down the pike, I promise you, ok?

Greenlee: You sure?

Jack: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, that's what -- that's what dads do. Ok?

Greenlee: Look -- I know Bianca needs you, and she should be your first priority right now, but would you like to get together sometime? You know, maybe for drinks or dinner?

Jack: So, what are saying, that you'd like a do-over from that day at the Valley Inn, huh?

[Jack chuckles]

Greenlee: Yeah.

Jack: Yeah, I'd love to do that. Come here, you.

[Knock on door]

Man: Hi.

Bianca: Hi.

Man: Bianca Montgomery?

Bianca: Yeah.

Man: Hi. This is for you. Just sign here, please.

Bianca: Thanks.

Man: Thank you.

>> On the next "All My Children" --

Greenlee: Pops and I have bonded in a major father-daughter way, and we plan on spending even more quality time getting to know each other. You're just going to have to suck it up and live with it.

Kendall: You want to know where Michael is. Ok, I'll tell you.
