Carlos: If you're not leaving without me, you better plan on staying.
Juan Pablo: Only until you're back.
Carlos: But Pine Valley's my home. I have friends. I have a life here.
Juan Pablo: A life?
Juan Pablo: Not for long.
Carlos: Juan Pablo, I'm -- I'm tired. I'm tired of running.
Juan Pablo: They want you dead. If you stay, it's suicide.
Carlos: I'll take my chances.
Juan Pablo: If I found you, how long until they do? My god, they're probably watching us now.
Carlos: Ok, fine, fine. Then let's get it over with, once and for all.
Greenlee: You know each other?
Nurse: Well, if you need anything, press this button, and I'll be right back.
Alexander: All I need is peace and quiet.
Nurse: Somebody could use some sleep, but your son is here.
Alexander: What? My son?
Nurse: And he's very anxious to see you.
Alexander: Well, send him in.
Nurse: Mr. Cambias, you can see your father now.
Ryan: Hey, dad.
Ryan: I hope you don't mind, but the only way I could come and see you was if I said I was family, so --
Alexander: I wish you were, instead of that viper that calls himself my son.
Kendall: You answer me, Michael! Tell me! Tell me the truth! Did you rape her? Did you rape my sister, Michael? Tell me! I swear to god, if you touched her, I will kill you! I will kill you! Do you hear me?
Kendall: No, no!
Aidan: Kendall, what are --
Kendall: No, Aidan, Aidan, let me go. I have to go.
Aidan: Are you trying to get yourself hurt?
Kendall: No, I have to get to Michael and I have to --
Aidan: Kendall, come back.
Kendall: Hurt me, Michael. I'm the one you should hurt! I'm the one you should -- hurt me. Hurt me, Michael! I'm the one you should hurt!
Erica: Dear god, please help us. It's good to cry, honey. Oh, it's good to cry. It's all right, baby. You get it out. You're safe, honey. You're safe now.
Erica: Oh, shh. It's all right, honey. It's over now. Storm's over. Honey, it's late. It's late, baby. Let me put you to bed. I'll stay with you. Ok? Ok. Oh, I know.
Aidan: Come on, Kendall, let's get you inside. Come on. Let's get you inside. Give me the keys.
Aidan: Sit down. Sit there, sit there. I'm going to get you a towel and dry you off.
Kendall: No, wait. I have to go. I have to find out --
Aidan: No, come on, stay. Stay. Sit down. Come on. Now, you want to tell me what happened? Did Michael find out that we got into his place?
Aidan: Did he do something to you?
Kendall: It should have been me, Aidan. I should have been the one that be hurt.
Aidan: Hold on, you're not -- you're not really making any sense. Did you go over and see Michael?
Kendall: Oh, my god. Oh, my god. I brought him here. It's my fault, Aidan. It's my fault. Now my sister has been hurt.
Kendall: No. Oh, god, please don't let it be true. Please -- please don't let this be true.
Aidan: Kendall, what?
Kendall: It can't be true. Oh, god. Oh, it's still there. I have to wash it, Aidan. I have to wash where he touched me. I have to wash it.
Aidan: No, Kendall, wait.
Kendall: No, Aidan, you don't understand. I have to wash where Michael touched me. I have to get it off of me now.
Alexander: The only flowers my son would have brought me would have been to decorate my grave.
Ryan: Except you're going to live.
Alexander: Is that why you're here? To find out if I have enough breath to sign your check?
Ryan: I told you, forget about the check.
Alexander: So you're here because --
Ryan: Well, it's still 115 degrees outside, and this place has got some fantastic air conditioning.
Alexander: Well, then, by all means, stay.
Ryan: Wow. They sure got you hooked up.
Alexander: Apparently for my own good. Do you and your father get along?
Ryan: Which father? The one that beat me or the one that was murdered?
Alexander: My god. At least I never beat Michael.
Ryan: Not all abuse is physical.
Alexander: I wanted to make him stronger, but now -- maybe if his brother wasn't dead, things would have been different.
Ryan: Michael had a brother?
Ryan: Well, I'm -- you know, I'm sorry that he's gone.
Alexander: So am I.
Ryan: You want some water?
Alexander: No, I'll do it. Damn! Thank you. Shouldn't you be in the company of young women, instead of wasting your time with a stranger?
Ryan: Stranger? What are you talking about? Here, let me help you out with this thing here. It's supposed to go there, like this. How's that? I think I know you pretty well by now.
Alexander: You think?
Ryan: You're a power-hungry son of a bitch who doesn't like to depend on anyone. Now that you do, you hate it.
Alexander: No one dares to speak to me so honestly.
Ryan: Oh, that's because they're too busy kissing your backside.
Alexander: But not you?
Ryan: No, not me.
Greenlee: It's not a hard question. Do you know each other?
Juan Pablo: Apparently, this man -- you said your name was Carlos?
Carlos: Carlos Reyes.
Juan Pablo: Yes. He has come to rescue you.
Greenlee: That's very big of you, Carlos. But as you can see, it's already taken care of.
Carlos: Well, yeah, I heard about what happened, and if you want, I can take you home.
Jack: No, it's ok. She's good.
Carlos: Why don't you let her decide that?
Greenlee: It's getting kind of crowded in here. I'm going home, but you're all welcome to stay. Oh, why don't you keep these?
Juan Pablo: Ok.
Greenlee: I only won because you blew on the dice. Dress. And, Juan Pablo, thank you for this new dress.
Juan Pablo: You're welcome.
Carlos: Wait, hold on. You stayed here with him?
Greenlee: You got a problem with that?
Carlos: No, I'm not the one with the problem. You can do whatever you want.
Greenlee: That's right, I can.
Carlos: Look, I just didn't expect you --
Greenlee: What did you expect? That you'd find me drowning my sorrows in some boardwalk dive with a big "save me" tattooed on my forehead?
Greenlee: You know, that's one thing you never got about me, Carlos. I don't wallow. This whole daddy Jack thing threw me, but I'm over it, and I've got a company to run. I've got a nationwide contest to supervise and we have a sexiest man to find. Did you know that we're down to the third of five finalists? Did you know that? So, if you'll excuse me -- ow, ow.
Jack: Greenlee --
Greenlee: No, no, I don't need any help. Just give me a sec.
Juan Pablo: What happened?
Jack: Greenlee had a bit of an accident down at the beach. Look, why don't I go around, get my car --
Greenlee: No. I'm all right, I'm all right, ok? Juan Pablo, thank you for showing me such a good time. An honest man is hard to find these days. I'll never forget what you did for me.
Juan Pablo: It was a pleasure.
Jack: All right, all right, now, look, that's it. I'm going to take you home, and I don't want to hear another word about it.
Greenlee: No, but --
Jack: I said, not another word. I'm not going to have you driving home with that ankle and kill yourself because you're trying to prove some kind of point.
Jack: Ok! I'll have somebody pick your car up later. Now, shall we?
Greenlee: You shouldn't have come all the way down here.
Carlos: I don't believe you. You seduced her, didn't you?
Ryan: I should probably split, let you get some sleep.
Alexander: Sleep? They poke you, pinch you every hour. Better to stay awake, face them head-on.
Ryan: You know what? I'll get -- I should get --
Alexander: No, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, please. Thank you. Hello?
Alexander: Michael? Where are you?
Michael: Well, where you left me when you refused to send the jet.
Alexander: Is that why you called? To complain?
Michael: I'm sorry. Since I'm stuck here, I thought I would call to see how you were.
Alexander: You're afraid you're going to be cut out of the will?
Michael: So how are you, father? You -- you sound like your old self.
Alexander: I'm not dead yet. That's what you called to find out, yes? Sorry to put a crimp in your plans.
Michael: I've got plans, whether you're dead or alive.
Alexander: Unfortunately for you, I'm getting stronger every day. I may even buy a motorcycle.
Michael: Just what kind of meds are you on anyway?
Alexander: Michael, I will get out of this bed, and I will find a way to deal with you.
Michael: Yeah, well, that might be dangerous with a bad heart. You never know what might happen.
Alexander: I will make a pact with the devil himself to make sure I live long enough to lower you into the ground.
Michael: Try it, and I'll take you with me, old man.
Alexander: I hope he rots in hell.
Ryan: You know what, Alex? I think maybe you should just try calming down a little bit. The little lines are going crazy up there.
Alexander: How can I? How can I when I have that to contend with at every turn? He pushes, he connives.
Ryan: You know what?
Ryan: It's ok, it's all right. Yes, have water. Here you go.
Alexander: Thank you.
Ryan: You know, not that it's any of my business, but has it always been like that between you two?
Alexander: Things have gotten worse since the death of Michael's brother. How can I treat Michael as a son after he -- ever since Alex died, I can no longer bear to look at Michael to ask the questions that should be asked.
Ryan: About his brother's death? Wait, Alexander, what are you saying?
Aidan: I made you some tea.
Aidan: You want to talk about it?
Aidan: Did Erica do something to upset you?
Kendall: No, Erica didn't do anything. It's -- it's what she said.
Aidan: What did she say? Come on. You can tell me.
Kendall: She said that Michael -- oh, god, it's happening all over again. It's happening all over again. It's my fault.
Aidan: What? What's happening all over again? What's your fault?
Kendall: I can't even say it.
Aidan: Of course you can. Come on, it's me, Kendall.
Kendall: Oh, god. Aidan, I think that Michael -- I think he -- he raped Bianca.
Aidan: Sick bastard.
Kendall: No. Aidan, no. Aidan, Aidan, wait!
Erica: Sweetheart. Better? Bianca, I'm so glad you told me what happened. You did the right thing. Everything's going to be all right now.
Bianca: Mom --
Erica: Tomorrow, honey -- tomorrow is time enough to -- to figure out what we're going to do next. Here, honey. Right now, you sleep, honey. You just go to sleep. And I'll be right here next to you. I'm going to be here with you, and if you need anything, you just tell me, ok?
Bianca: Mom --
Erica: Yes, sweetheart, what is it? Would you like some tea? Would you like the chamomile?
Bianca: You're not --
Bianca: You're not mad at me?
Erica: Oh, no, honey. No, no, no, no, no. Don't you ever -- honey, don't you ever even think that. No, sweetheart, no. You listen to me. Something terrible was done to you, but you have done nothing wrong. You are not to blame for this, sweetheart. There is nothing for you to feel guilty about. Do you understand?
Bianca: But --
Erica: You will understand, sweetheart, I promise you. And it may take us a little time to get there, but we will get there. We will get there together, you and me, and everyone who loves you. Right now, you just sleep.
Erica: Hush a-bye, don't you cry go to sleep my little baby when you wake you shall have oh, a pretty little pony
Alexander: I shouldn't have said anything. The suspicions -- they grow, they fester inside of you, and now I can no longer look at Michael and -- and see a son.
Ryan: Ok, listen, if you don't calm down, I'm going to have to get a nurse in here, ok? So just take it easy.
Alexander: Michael's brother died in a car crash on our estate.
Ryan: I'm sorry.
Alexander: He'd been drinking.
Ryan: That must have been a shock to you.
Alexander: A shock, yes, because Alex didn't drink. But that night, he drank a lot -- almost a pint of whiskey -- in less than an hour. Because of Michael.
Ryan: So you blame him for Alex's death?
Alexander: At Alex's wake, Michael was alone with the coffin. I didn't want to intrude, but then I saw it. Michael smiled. And in that moment, I knew.
Ryan: Well, a smile isn't exactly evidence of anything.
Alexander: Ah. You didn't see Michael's face. He was glad Alex was dead.
Ryan: No, come on. You don't know that for sure.
Alexander: Do you have a brother, Ryan?
Alexander: Would you smile over his grave?
Ryan: Well, no, but --
Alexander: All of his life, Michael competed with Alex and always came in second. He was always compared to Alex and suffered the comparison.
Ryan: You don't think Michael --
Alexander: I don't want it to be the truth. What father would? But in my heart, I know. Michael may not have raised his hand against his brother, but he's responsible for Alex's death.
Kendall: No, Aidan, you can't go over there.
Aidan: Oh, yes, I can.
Kendall: No, wait, Aidan. Wait, please, wait.
Aidan: Why hasn't he been arrested?
Kendall: Because Bianca -- Bianca hasn't gone to the cops yet.
Aidan: But Erica would have made sure of it.
Kendall: No, Bianca hasn't told Erica.
Aidan: How do you know? Has Bianca told anyone?
Aidan: So there's a chance that this might not be true.
Kendall: I wish to god it wasn't true, but, Aidan, listen to me. Bianca burned her clothes, she stopped eating, she totally withdrew. I know it happened. I know it happened. Michael raped my sister. Do you understand me? He raped her, and it's my fault.
Aidan: No, no, it's not your fault.
Kendall: Yes, Aidan, it is. I pushed Michael too far too often.
Aidan: Come on, you are not to blame.
Kendall: I am, Aidan. I thought I was going to have this beautiful new life with my mother and my sister, but instead, I just dragged them all back into hell.
Aidan: That's not true, Kendall.
Kendall: Yes, Aidan, it is. Bianca has been raped. She's been raped, and Erica is reliving her worst nightmare because of me. I'm like this cancer in their lives.
Aidan: You've done nothing wrong, Kendall. It's Michael. He goes after everything that gets in his path.
Kendall: No, no. But who threw Bianca in his path? Me. I did that. Michael chose Bianca because of me, because I helped Erica humiliate him. He wanted to get back at me, and it was brilliant, wasn't it? He made me, the child of Erica's rape, responsible for Bianca's rape.
[Knock on door]
Michael: Is everything all right? I thought I heard a commotion.
Juan Pablo: It would have been a pleasure, but I didn't seduce Greenlee, ok?
Carlos: And why should I believe you?
Juan Pablo: I'm your brother.
Carlos: And you didn't touch Greenlee?
Juan Pablo: I don't force myself on unhappy women, ok?
Carlos: But all the rest of the women are fair game, right? Kendall? Mia? Simone?
Juan Pablo: They are very charming, but I didn't come to Pine Valley to seduce them. I came to find you, and they led me to you.
Carlos: Well, I don't need to be found. My future is here.
Juan Pablo: I hope you don't think that includes Greenlee. Because she made it clear that it's over between you two -- for good.
Greenlee: Oh, god.
Jack: Quite a mess, huh?
Greenlee: I can't believe I did this. I ruined my couch. The smell reeks.
Jack: I'd offer you my help, but I know how you feel about assistance.
Greenlee: Well, you can hand me that trash can if you want.
Greenlee: I have a lot to do here, so you can go now.
Jack: Or I can stay, help out a little bit. Wouldn't be any trouble.
Greenlee: Please. All I've been is trouble to you, Jackson. You came all the way to Atlantic City. You helped me, you fed me, brought me all the way back here. Go home -- to Reggie or Erica.
Jack: Erica. Yeah.
Greenlee: I'm sorry I ruined your wedding.
Jack: You made a hell of an entrance, I'll give you that. But you're not the reason that the honeymoon is off. You see, Greenlee, it turns out that Erica knew about you but chose not to tell me. And I'm having kind of a hard time getting past that, you know.
Greenlee: She loves you.
Jack: You sure you want to throw this away?
Greenlee: Positive. How come you didn't know?
Jack: I don't know. I really don't. I wish I had. I'm so sorry for all the time we've lost.
Greenlee: Yeah. Well, woulda, shoulda, coulda.
Jack: Greenlee, I know that a couple of bowls of chowder and a ride back to Pine Valley don't make up for everything that's happened --
Greenlee: So just cut our losses?
Jack: But I -- I know you have no reason to trust me. I mean, all of us -- all of us have treated you so badly throughout the years. And why should you trust somebody who's basically a virtual stranger to you? I just want you to know that I'm here for you now.
Greenlee: You sound just like a dad. Have you been practicing in front of the mirror?
Jack: Ok, look, I'm not going to get in your face about this, but you know what? I -- I do have a request. And I hope you say yes.
Kendall: Get out.
Michael: Temper, temper, Kendall.
Aidan: Leave now, Cambias, before I kill you.
Michael: You know, that macho thing always worked on Kendall, but not her sister, hmm?
Kendall: Aidan, Aidan -- Aidan, don't. Don't.
Aidan: There is nothing stopping me from snapping your neck.
Kendall: Look, Aidan, Aidan -- Aidan, stop it.
Michael: Ow. You know, you ought to ease up on that caffeine there, limey.
Aidan: Get out of here, Cambias.
Michael: Fine, fine. I just wanted to make sure everything was all right after that --
Kendall: You're the one who's psycho. You're the one who's crazy. You raped my sister.
Michael: You know what, Kendall? All this talk about rape is getting very hurtful. That you would even suggest I would do such a thing --
Kendall: No, you raped her! You raped her, and you know it.
Michael: You know what? I would really watch your step there, Kendall. There are slander laws, even in the backwater burgs like Pine Valley. And I do have a witness here, of course.
Aidan: You have five seconds.
Michael: Yes. Well, then, good night, and please do keep it down, as some of us are trying to get some sleep.
Aidan: It's going to be all right. It's going to be all right.
Kendall: No, it's not. What I've done -- this will kill Erica.
Joe: Erica, your baby is fine.
Travis: She is perfect.
Joe: And she's a real beauty. Ruth is right over there getting the baby ready.
Erica: I can't believe it. I can't believe it. It's a girl.
Erica: Do they know what caused the fire yet? What? What is it?
Travis: Bianca started the fire.
Erica: Bianca? My illness was robbing me of my life, just as anorexia is robbing you of yours, sweetheart. But the minute that I admitted that I had given over control of my life to that illness, that was the day that I started to get better.
Bianca: Mom, Uncle Jack, I have something I need to say.
Erica: What, honey?
Bianca: I'm -- I have -- I'm an anorexic.
Erica: Earlier in the evening, it seems that Travis suffered a massive stroke.
Bianca: Take me to see him. I want to see him. Uncle Jack, where is he? Take me to see him!
Jack: I'm sorry, honey. Your dad -- he didn't make it.
Bianca: Have you always loved me, mom? Have you?
Erica: How could you even ask me a question like that?
Bianca: Do you love me now?
Bianca: Do you?
Bianca: I'm gay.
Greenlee: What's your request?
Jack: Here. It's a little soggy, but --
Greenlee: What is it?
Jack: It's all my phone numbers, just in case you ever want to just talk.
Greenlee: This is it? This is the big request?
Jack: Well, actually, no. There's more. I'd like you to promise me that you'll never scare me to death again. No more playing with matches. No more disappearing into the thin air. No more playing out in major storms. Do you think you can do that for me?
Greenlee: Got it. Don't scare you.
Jack: Yeah, don't scare me. Or at least, for Pete's sake, give me a call first. Ok.
Greenlee: Jackson? I won't take off again.
Carlos: I know I lost Greenlee.
Juan Pablo: So, what is there to stay for? Come with me. I can protect you.
Carlos: Because I'm done running.
Juan Pablo: But if they find you --
Carlos: Juan Pablo, look, I've stayed ahead of these guys since I was 14.
Juan Pablo: Making the commercial was stupid.
Carlos: Yeah. Love makes a man do foolish things.
Juan Pablo: And why do you think I'm here, huh? Hmm? I love you. I miss you, and I want you safe.
Carlos: I'm safe in Pine Valley.
Juan Pablo: Your stubbornness could get you killed.
Carlos: Look, I don't regret what I did for one second. Esos Desgraciados. He got what he deserved. No. When they come looking for me, I'll be ready for them.
Juan Pablo: You won't be alone. You're my brother. I'll be with you.
Ryan: Alexander, listen to me. If you don't get some sleep, you may not be around to buy that motorcycle you're talking about, ok?
Alexander: God's got a sense of humor, don't you think?
Ryan: I must have missed the punch line.
Alexander: I'll die and my disgrace of a son will live on unpunished for the life he took, the people he hurt.
Ryan: Alexander, you're not going to die. Just relax.
Alexander: I'm going to hell for letting Michael get away for killing his brother.
Ryan: Now listen to me. You're damn ornery to get into hell, ok? Now get some sleep. And don't worry. Michael's not going to get away with anything.
Kendall: You know, when Erica gave me this, I thought I'd finally proven that I could be the person she always wanted me to be. Someone she could love and trust.
[Kendall throws the necklace]
Kendall: Well, I'm still me. And everything I touch turns to garbage.
Aidan: Oh, come on, that is not true. Erica knows you, and Erica knows Michael, and there's no way that she'll ever hold you responsible for what he did to -- what he did to Bianca.
Kendall: Oh, god, I want to believe that.
Aidan: Well, I do, and I'm a hard sell.
Kendall: No, you're total mush. I don't know how I'd ever make it without you and your tea.
Aidan: With or without my tea, Kendall, you're a survivor. And so is Erica. And so is your sister.
Kendall: I've got to help them, Aidan. I got to make things right. I'm responsible for what Michael did. And I'll be responsible for seeing him punished.
>> On the next "All My Children" --
Juan Pablo: I wanted to make sure you got home all right.
Simone: You two were together?
Michael: You've made a very foolish mistake, old man.
David: We're just here to help.
Bianca: Why did you tell him? He's just going to make it worse.
Kendall: I have to make Michael disappear, and then the suffering will end.
