Aidan: Did you find anything of interest at Michael's? I知 going to have to check this out.

Erica: You made the right decision, not telling Greenlee that she is Jackson's daughter.

David: How do you like it, knowing that you have no control over anything?

Tad: Unlock the cuffs.

Liza: Well, I値l let Jamie unlock the cuffs in the morning. Have a nice night.

Kendall: Stick a fork in me, I知 done.

Aidan: Yeah. It's only going to get hotter before we leave. Now, get out of those clothes.

Kendall: Well, usually I like a little more foreplay first.

Aidan: This was your idea, Kendall.

Kendall: Yeah, I know, and I知 very glad that you decided to join me.

Aidan: Oh, I intend to have fun. Now, come on, off with that.

Kendall: All right, all right. All right, already. Looks like you beat me to it.

Aidan: How's that?

Kendall: Well, this whole thing that we planned, the good cop/bad cop, remember, I知 the bad one.

Aidan: Are you sure you're up to it? It might get a bit rough.

Kendall: Watch me. I can get as bad as it takes.

Michael: Well, you certainly work hard. Hi.

Mia: Hi, Michael. I didn't hear you.

Michael: No.

Mia: Sorry. Those are beautiful. Beautiful.

Michael: Oh, thanks, thanks. Well, listen, I was hoping we could get away for a little while. I mean, it is a holiday.

Mia: Oh, yeah, yeah. But not for me. Our sexy man contest is really kicking into full gear, so I知 probably going to be here for -- ooh -- all hours of the night.

Michael: Uh-huh, uh-huh. And you're not just the slightest bit tempted to know what I had in mind?

Mia: Oh, I am so tempted. Please don't make it harder.

Michael: Well, what if that hothead Aidan Devane were to walk in here? What would happen then?

Mia: He won't, Michael. I just told him that I知 not interested, you know?

Michael: Mm-hmm.

Mia: Who needs that kind of jealousy and insecurity? Not me.

Michael: Exactly, exactly. So if you were to have your own private, two-man sexy man contest, I壇 win?

Mia: What do you think?

Michael: This is what I think.

Greenlee: Let go!

Michael: Ow!

Greenlee: Let go!

Michael: What the --

Greenlee: Get out.

Mia: Greenlee!

Michael: You know, you're only turning me on with that thing.

Greenlee: You're a disgusting pig! Now get out of here. Get out of here before I call the cops.

Michael: Well, what do you think, Mia? Does Greenlee here have to call the cops?

Reggie: For the last time, I was not going to shoot Luis.

Jack: Anna, he handed me the gun willingly.

Anna: Yeah, I saw you take it from him. And then Erica said that she came over because she'd heard about a shooting.

Erica: No, I didn't. The only reason I came rushing over is because I knew that Jack had left the hospital without permission.

Anna: Well, I heard what you said.

Erica: Well, I don't care what I said. I don't know anything about a shooting.

Reggie: Look, there wasn't a shooting. There wasn't going to be a shooting.

Jack: Sit down.

Erica: So you made a mistake, Anna. It was the heat.

Anna: Oh, yeah, probably. Listen, Reggie, look at me. You're facing serious charges, and you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law unless I am satisfied. Do you understand that?

Erica: Anna, for heaven sakes. Aren't there more serious crimes happening -- actually happening right now -- right now in Pine Valley?

Anna: I don't know. Are there?

Jack: Honey, please.

Erica: Oh, please, look, of course, Reggie should not have had a loaded gun. But as he said, there was no shooting.

Jack: Yeah, more important to the point, he is going to be cooperating with the law, aren't you, Reggie?

Anna: That's all I want.

Jack: Good. Listen to me, this code of silence of the street thing -- you got to forget about it. This is your chance to avenge your brother George. Everything you tell us we can use to put Luis away forever. Man, I知 trying to help you! Help me help you, will you, Reggie?

Erica: Jack, come on. Please calm down, Jack. You just got out of the hospital. You shouldn't be out of the hospital --

Jack: No, I知 fine. No, no, no, Erica, I am fine. But you are in a headlock, son, and that's where you're going to be unless you let me help you.

Reggie: Look, I don't care, all right? Lock me up if you have to! I知 not saying anything!

Jack: No, nobody is going to lock you up.

Reggie: Let me leave so I can go pack my bags! So I can just forget about you and you can forget about me.

Tad: All right, enough is enough. Now tell me what the hell you're doing about David.

Anna: Wait a minute, Tad.

Tad: I haven't got a minute because, obviously, my family is in danger out there.

Anna: Well, I知 in the middle of something, and I haven't had time to deal with David yet.

Tad: Well, then make time, Anna, please. Please. The fact is your ex-husband has clearly gone over the edge.

Leora: What are you doing, Daddy?

David: Remember when Daddy said that he was going to get justice? Well, today is judgment day, darling.

Jack: Now, suppose you tell me why you think it is I want you to move out.

Reggie: The veins in your neck. You're really angry.

Jack: Angry? You're damn right I知 angry. What you did was stupid, Reggie -- getting into my safe, taking my gun out of there, trying to handle Luis by yourself. What the hell were you thinking about, anyway? You know, as a rule, parents don't like their kids doing things that might get them killed. Try to remember that in the future, will you?

Reggie: I値l try.

Jack: Good! I mean, look, I知 going to get mad. You're going to get angry. It's going to happen, but we can't ever give up on one another. Not ever. You follow me?

Reggie: So what is that supposed to mean?

Jack: It means now I知 going to stop yelling, and I知 going to go out there, and I知 going to try to fix this, and you're going to help me, ok? Because I don't want any kid of mine on either end of a loaded gun. Ok?

Reggie: Jack -- you really think of me as your kid?

Jack: Yeah. Why? You got a problem with that?

Reggie: Well, you know, I知 supposed to be relieving your, you know, liberal guilt.

Jack: All right, maybe it's kind of that way, yeah, but you've grown on me. Maybe I致e been presumptuous. Maybe I should ask you. Is it ok if I think of you as my son? I値l take that as a yes. Come here. You ever do anything stupid like that again, I値l kill you.

Tad: We're talking about your job here, Anna. Look, what David did was criminal. No matter what your feelings are for your ex-husband, you can't show him some kind of preferential treatment.

Anna: Will you calm down? I know what David is capable of. So, tell me how he's threatened your family.

Tad: He stated very clearly that Jamie was going to be in danger and there was nothing I could do about it. He swore he would see to it because in his twisted little mind, I知 responsible for killing your daughter. I知 sorry. It -- I知 sorry. That was awful.

Anna: It's my job to protect the people in this town, and I will. Even if it's from David.

Tad: Find him. Anna, just do it, for his own sake if not for everybody else's in his line of fire. Jamie's still out there. I致e got to get back to him.

Anna: Yeah. Get back to Jamie. You should.

Tad: I meant what I said, ok? I apologize. I know how much you loved Leora. Whether you believe it or not, my heart goes out to you. Even to David. My heart goes out to any man who's lost a daughter.

Mia: I hope that answers your question.

Michael: Mm-hmm.

Greenlee: I am not believing this.

Michael: Actually, I think it's kind of sweet how Greenlee cares so much about you. But you know what? No need to worry because Mia's simply moving up. She's moving on from that depressing cockney bartender to me.

Greenlee: Who? Does he mean Aidan? You're seeing Aidan, too?

Michael: Whoa, whoa, wait a second. You didn't know about this?

Mia: You're only my boss at work. That doesn't mean I have to take orders from you regarding my social life.

Greenlee: You call it social, Mia. I call it suicidal.

[Band plays]

Ruth: There you are. We need some more ice.

Joe: Right. Well, could you do that, sweetheart? We're in the middle of something.

Ruth: Fine. Keep an eye on it, will you, please?

Joe: I will. No use worrying your grandmother. Tell me again. He was in handcuffs?

Jamie: Handcuffs, yeah. And he was sitting down on a chair, and he was -- his ankles were tied to the chair.

Joe: My goodness. But he was all right otherwise?

Jamie: Yeah, yeah.

Joe: Well, he's one lucky man, your father, that you came by and found him when you did. Did he say what happened?

Jamie: Grandpa, that's the worst part. It was David Hayward.

Joe: David Hayward? He was here last night.

Jamie: I know. He said to tell Dad, "Hi."

Joe: Well, well, look, it's over now. It's ok. It's ok.

Jamie: No, no, no. No, it's not ok. Hayward hates us. He always has.

Joe: But we'll worry about that later. The important thing is, you know, that -- you said yourself -- your dad was ok? I mean, he wasn't really hurt, right?

Jamie: Yeah, he's fine. But you should have seen him last night.

Joe: I知 sorry.

Jamie: It was weird. It was like I walked in some kinky sex scene, you know?

Joe: Oh, well -- look, you did everything right. You did everything right. But we'll worry about everything else later on, ok? It's a fair. Have a good time. Try to enjoy yourself, ok?

Jamie: Ok.

Ruth: I see why you wanted me to get the ice. What was this about kinky sex?

Joe: You don't want to know.

Ruth: No, I guess I don稚.

Joe: Let me help you out.

Tad: Hey. Thank God. Listen, no sign of Hayward yet, right?

Jamie: No, no sign of him today.

Tad: All right. Ok. You just remember what I told you. We're going to let the cops handle this, and we stick together, we'll be fine.

Jamie: Yeah. Yeah.

Tad: Thanks. I mean, for setting me loose. Even though I told you not to, I was lucky you came home when you did.

Jamie: Of course. It's not like you were stranded on some desert island. I would have came home eventually.

Tad: Yeah, well, somebody did come home, and they left me like that.

Jamie: Who?

Tad: Liza.

Jamie: Liza?

Tad: Yeah.

Jamie: I just saw her here. She's over there waving at you.

Tad: Say hi. Wave back. You kinky little sociopath.

Jamie: Why did she leave you there in handcuffs?

Tad: Because that was her idea of a joke.

Jamie: She looks good. Maybe you two could get things going again.

Tad: Stop. What makes you think I want your advice any more than you want mine?

Jamie: She looks like she's having fun.

Tad: Well, what do you say we have some fun? Pay close attention. I知 going to learn you about something I know a lot about.

Jamie: And what's that?

Tad: The fine art of getting even.

Leora: That's a lot of numbers.

David: Yes, it is a lot of numbers, darling. But these numbers make up this formula.

Leora: What's a formula?

David: Well, let's say it's kind of like a magic potion.

Leora: Real magic?

David: Absolutely, sweetheart. Your daddy's going to get us the justice we deserve in perfect little doses.

Leora: Is it for me?

David: No. It's for all those people who took you away from me, darling. This is going to take everything that's wrong in the world and it's going to make it right.

Michael: Well, listen, why don't we thank Greenlee for her wonderful advice and get out of this hot office, hmm?

Mia: That sounds like such a great idea.

Michael: Ok. Let's go.

Mia: Ok.

Greenlee: Mia --

Mia: I will speak to you during working hours, ok?

Michael: Happy Fourth.

Mia: Oh, my God! Oh, God. I can't believe this. I have an entire stack of press releases that I have to finish by tomorrow morning. I don't suppose you'd be willing to do them for me, would you?

Greenlee: I don't do your work for you.

Mia: I --

Greenlee: And they should have been done yesterday. So get to it.

Mia: Oh, thanks a heap. Real, real friendly.

Michael: Hmm.

Mia: Ok, so -- I知 sorry. I値l just meet you somewhere. S.O.S.?

Michael: Well, you know, I can wait here with you until you're done.

Mia: You don't want to hang out here. She probably will never shut up.

Michael: Yeah.

Mia: I値l hurry, and I値l meet you somewhere.

Michael: Ok. S.O.S. It is, then.

Mia: Oh, great. Ok.

Michael: So I値l see you in a bit.

Mia: Yeah, I値l see you there. Ok.

Greenlee: Mia, press releases. What are you doing?

Mia: God, you almost ruined everything.

Greenlee: Ruined what? Oh, my God, it was an act?

Mia: Yes, of course it was an act. What do you think?

Greenlee: Oh, oh --

Mia: Oh, God, he's horrible.

Greenlee: Why on earth are you pretending to be with Michael?

Mia: I am trying to help Kendall and Aidan bring him down.

Greenlee: What?

Mia: Yeah, they're -- they're looking for goods on him. They're down in the Cayman Islands right now, hunting for evidence.

Aidan: Get in there!

Man: Please don't hurt me.

Aidan: That depends entirely on you, Mr. Barrett.

Mr. Barrett: How do you know my name? Who are you? What do you want?

Kendall: Oh, you traveled a long way. You thought you were safe. You were wrong, honey. You were dead wrong.

Mr. Barrett: Who are you?

Aidan: Cambias offered you protection. But I知 afraid he can't deliver.

Mr. Barrett: Just tell me what you want. You want money?

Kendall: It's too hot for this! Why don't we just kill the sucker now and get it over with.

Mia: Oh, God, it's almost over. Kendall and Aidan will be back this afternoon, I hope.

Greenlee: From the Grand Caymans?

Mia: Right. The receipt that I found in Michael's condo led them there. It's where he sent the guy that he used to frame Lena.

Greenlee: To discredit her as a witness against him.

Kendall: Right. So they're bringing him back to the States. Don't ask me how. I have no idea.

Greenlee: But if all of this is in the works, then why don't you just blow Michael off? You don't need to meet him at S.O.S.

Mia: I can稚. I have to stick to the plan. Otherwise, Michael will get suspicious and he'll alert that guy, and then Kendall and Aidan will be in danger.

Greenlee: Well, you have to think of something because you cannot meet that psycho.

Mia: I know. I did. I had a whole cover story for when he showed up -- if he showed up. And then you showed up, and it all went out of my head.

Greenlee: Well, I知 sorry that my mental telepathy didn't kick in. Why wasn't I told about this?

Mia: I don't know. I don't know. Because you weren't around. I didn't know what to tell you. Greenlee, it's not about you anyway.

Greenlee: Fine, fine, fine. But what are you going to do?

Mia: What I said I would do.

Greenlee: Well, you know Kendall got close to Michael so she could double-cross him, and she almost got raped.

Mia: I know. The more time I spend with this man, the more creeped out I get.

Greenlee: Well, if he tries to take you anyplace that you don't know it is, you're going to have to get a headache or twist your other ankle or something.

Mia: Right. That's exactly what I値l do. I値l just have to be very, very convincing. Oh, God, I wish I had Aidan as backup.

Greenlee: I値l be your backup.

Mia: Really? You will?

Greenlee: Yes. Well, if he tries to do anything, he's going to have to come through me first.

Mia: Greenlee, that's very nice of you, but you're not a part of this.

Greenlee: Well, I am now. Come on, let's go.

Kendall: Kill him.

Aidan: We have our orders. We don't kill him if he cooperates.

Kendall: Yeah, but he's not cooperating.

Aidan: Let's just give him a chance first, shall we?

Kendall: No, no. Killing him would be a hell of a lot quicker.

Mia: I want to do this my way.

Kendall: No. No way, no way, man. Your way is never any fun. You see? You see? Let me break -- let me break his freaking neck before he gets away.

Aidan: You're not making this very easy for me, Mr. Barrett. I can only hold my partner back for so long. Let's cut to the chase. What do you know about Michael Cambias?

Mr. Barrett: I don't know anything about any Michael Cambias.

Kendall: Come on!

[Bottle shatters]

Aidan: Did you and Michael Cambias conspire against Lena Kundera?

Mr. Barrett: Yes. But Cambias came to me. The scam was all his idea.

Aidan: Are you aware of a photograph that put you and Lena Kundera in a compromising position?

Kendall: You better answer him.

Mr. Barrett: It was a phony. I never met the woman.

Aidan: Right. So as far as you know, Lena Kundera was not involved in the stock trading against Chandler Enterprises?

Mr. Barrett: I know she wasn't. It was all Cambias.

Aidan: Cambias paid you to lie and to disappear, didn't he?

Mr. Barrett: Yes.

Aidan: Thank you. That's what I need to know.

Mr. Barrett: And that's all --

Aidan: Was that so hard?

Mr. Barrett: That's all I know, I swear. There's nothing else I can help you with, all right?

Aidan: Oh, yes, there is. There's plenty more. You can come back to Pine Valley, and you can tell the authorities the truth.

Mr. Barrett: I値l go to jail. I can't do that.

Aidan: Oh, you won't go back?

Mr. Barrett: No.

Aidan: Fine. Well, there's no more I can do. It looks like you're going to get your wish after all. But if you break his neck, it's going to be over so soon that you won't be happy and you'll be moaning all the way home.

Kendall: Yeah, you're right, you're right.

Aidan: Can I make a suggestion?

Kendall: What's that?

Aidan: You know what "Cayman" means?

Kendall: Yeah. Crocodile. Ah, ah. So it will be really, really slow, won't it?

Aidan: Just the way you like it.

Kendall: Mm-hmm.

Mr. Barrett: You wouldn't really do that?

Aidan: Well, you see, that all depends on you. Crocodiles. Being eaten by crocodiles is a nasty way to die. And for what? Michael Cambias would sell you out in a second. If you cooperate, maybe we can make a deal. A minimum-security prison.

Mr. Barrett: Ok, ok, I値l go with you.

Aidan: Clever thinking, Mr. Barrett. Well done, Bobby boy.

Bianca: Thank you.

Michael: I知 glad to see you made it past the guard dog.

Mia: Yeah. Well, of course, Greenlee tried to stop me, but I told her that I make my own mistakes.

Michael: Good.

Mia: This isn't going to be one of them, is it?

Michael: Well, if it is, I promise you won't regret it. What can I order you?

Mia: A white wine.

Michael: Oh, please, come on. That's not very adventurous. Another scotch on the rocks for the lady. Trust me on this.

Mia: Sure.

Michael: Well, I have to tell you, Mia, I really like where this is all headed between us. Should I tell you what I have planned for our Fourth of July?

Mia: Oh, boy, I知 afraid to ask.

Michael: Well, I have one of the Chandler choppers on call so we could hop aboard, fly to New York, and be over the harbor in time for the fireworks. And then after that --

Mia: Oh, please don't tell me you were going to say we could make fireworks of our own.

Michael: What's wrong with that?

Mia: Nothing. You're a very interesting thinker.

Greenlee: Bianca, may I join you?

Bianca: Why? What, you want to gloat about Lena's arrest?

Greenlee: No. I知 sorry about that. I hate to sit alone, and I壇 love to catch up with you. Is that so unbelievable?

Bianca: Totally. What do you want, Greenlee?

Greenlee: I値l tell you later, ok? Can you sit here and look friendly for five minutes, please? For once, we actually have something in common.

Jack: Reggie and I here have had a bit of a breakthrough. I told him that I think of him as my son, and I think he kind of likes that. So since you and I are going to be married, we wanted to share that with you.

Reggie: Well, you know, I値l still call you Ms. Kane.

Jack: We don't want to put you on the spot. It's just that we're both very -- very happy about it.

Erica: Are you?

Jack: You bet. To have a son like this -- I just want to make sure he knows that he's safe and cared for and loved.

Erica: Well, whatever you want, Jack, believe me, that's what I want.

Reggie: Ok, look, then it's settled. If you would just excuse --

Jack: Whoa, whoa, whoa. You're not going anywhere. We're not done here yet.

Reggie: Yes, we are. I知 about to have a little talk with Chief Devane, and after which, Luis is going to straight to Statesville.

Jack: You see how smart he is?

Erica: Yeah.

Jack: I知 so proud of you.

Reggie: You're proud of me --

Jack: Oh, I知 sorry. I知 so proud of you, son.

Reggie: Ok. That's better.

Jack: Go out there and make that statement.

Erica: Wow. You just have so much love in your heart for Reggie. And think about it, I mean, just a few months ago, you didn't even know that he existed.

Jack: I just want to thank you so much.

Erica: Me?

Jack: Yes, you. For making room in your heart for Reggie and Lily, for making room in your home and in our lives for them.

Erica: Well, you're just such a natural father.

Jack: Yeah, I guess. It seems that way, doesn't it? If I壇 known it years ago, maybe I would have had my own.

Erica: Oh, Jack --

Jack: What?

Erica: I have to tell you. I mean, how can I keep you from your own child?

Jack: So, what did you mean about keeping me from my own child?

Erica: I meant Reggie because I had my doubts about him, because I thought that when we got married that maybe we would, you know, find him another place to live.

Jack: You still feel that way?

Erica: No, no, no. Not at all. No. Now that I致e seen you with him and I hear you say how blessed you feel, I know that he's the child that you should have. He's the new child for you to give all your love to.

Jack: Oh, my God, is it any wonder I love you so much? Look, I know this was sudden, this combining of families, but I really, really believe that it'll work. I really do. And you know Bianca -- I love her so much. I couldn't love her more if she was my own daughter.

Erica: I know. I know, and she feels the same way about you.

Jack: And let's face it -- Bianca is as close as I値l ever have to a biological child. I知 just so glad that she's yours. Come here.

Bianca: Greenlee, I知 sorry, but we don't have anything in common.

Greenlee: We both loved Leo.

Bianca: Except that.

Greenlee: And now we have a common enemy -- Michael Cambias.

Michael: Looks like you've been followed.

Mia: Oh, yeah. Well, just ignore her.

Michael: Sorry. I can't do that.

Greenlee: Right now, Kendall's trying to prove that Lena's innocent, that Michael's the one who set up --

Michael: Hello, ladies. Are you the reason why my ears are burning?

Bianca: Yes. We were just talking about how low a man can sink.

[Knock on door]

David: Maggie?

Maggie: David, I have been trying to call you, but you haven't been answering your phone. I致e been worried sick about you.

David: Well, it's all right. There's nothing to be worried about. I知 fine.

Leora: Are you ok?

Maggie: David? David, are you ok?

David: Maggie, I知 sorry. I致e -- I致e had my head in a computer screen all day long. My eyes are just tired, that's all. How are you doing? How are you doing?

Maggie: I知 good. I知 --

David: Yeah?

Maggie: I知 good. So you're working again?

David: Yeah. Yeah. I thought it was about time that I get back into it.

Maggie: Well, that's great. What are you working on?

David: What else? A cure for the incurable.

Brooke: Stop. You are --

Tad: Just a second. Stop. Go.

Brooke: What is Jamie up to?

Tad: He's helping me.

Brooke: With what? Or don't I want to know?

Tad: Hey, give me that back.

Brooke: Listen, I致e been watching him with women, and he needs a talk.

Tad: I gave him the talk.

Brooke: Well, it needs some revision, all right? And where were you last night? You were supposed to be here helping. Where were you?

Liza: He was all tied up. No hard feelings, I hope.

Tad: No, not at all. The welts are almost completely gone.

Brooke: Ok, I知 not here.

Liza: No, no, it wasn't --

Tad: Not as bad as it sounds.

Liza: It wasn't like that all.

Brooke: Don't care. Don't want to know.

Tad: See? Again -- your fault.

Liza: What?

Tad: Your fault. She is upset because while you left me stranded in that chair last night, I was supposed to be here scrounging up volunteers to work at our booth. Thank you very much.

Liza: What kind of help do you need?

Tad: No, no, that's all right. It's fine. I don't think it's your speed. You know, it's for the pediatric ward.

Liza: Oh, please. I値l volunteer. I値l help you. I値l do whatever you need me to do. What is it?

Tad: Wear a blindfold.

Liza: Oh -- no. I知 going to let you blindfold me?

Tad: Again you're doing it. You see? You really don't trust yourself with me. Don't you know that? Honestly, you are so terrified to let yourself go. It's amusing. If it wasn't so tragic. I知 serious. I saw it in your eyes last night. You can admit it. You sense my sexual power, you go scurrying off the other direction. Well, fine. Be that way. You know, I値l just rely on Brooke. At least I know she's over me.

Liza: Oh, you can -- you can blindfold me. I can take whatever you can dish out.

Tad: We'll see. Are you sure you can take it?

Liza: Yes, I can take it. Do it.

Tad: All right, fine. Let me know if it gets too tight. And just remember, this is for a very, very worthy cause.

Liza: Yes, I know.

Tad: Turn around. Come on. Where is he?

Liza: What?

Tad: Ok. Now you're going to have to take three steps up, ok? Not now, when I tell you, all right? One -- no, that's two. That's fine. No, ok, two. And three. Don't touch anything. Take a quick left. There you go. Two steps, ok? One, two. Now, there's a little stool right there. You feel it? Give me your bag. And you just have a seat, ok? Oh, you can take off your blindfold.

[Children laugh]

Liza: You wouldn't dare.

Tad: Oh. I wouldn't move if I were you. That's on a hair trigger. If you move, it's going to get real uncomfortable real fast.

Liza: Well, I知 sorry, ok? I apologize. I didn't mean to leave you in your house with the handcuffs on, all right, Tad? Can I please go out of here now?

Tad: You think that's going to do it? Uh-uh. I think you and I are going to have a long talk about that torch you've been carrying for me all these years.

Jamie: Dunk her!

Crowd: Dunk her, dunk her, dunk her, dunk her, dunk her!

Maggie: Well, a cure for the incurable. That's great.

David: Yeah.

Maggie: You know, you look great. How's Anna?

David: I don't know.

Maggie: David, did she move out? God, I知 sorry. I didn't know. Is -- is there anything that I can do to help?

David: It's fine, Maggie.

Maggie: Yeah, well, it's just a little obvious that the two of you need each other more than ever.

David: You know, it's going to be fine. It really is, ok? And I知 really grateful that you stopped by today, really.

Maggie: But I should go?

David: Yeah, you see, I知 kind of at a crucial part right now with the work, and I really want to get back to it.

Maggie: David, did you know it's the Fourth of July today? You know, there's a fair going on in the park, and I thought maybe we could go together and we could have some fun and --

David: Maggie, you don't have to worry about me, ok? Being with my work right now is exactly what I need, and if I get the results that I知 looking for, I知 going to find the happiness that I知 missing right now. And everyone in town will see it, ok?

Maggie: Ok. Well, I tried.

David: Yeah. You know, maybe I値l come by the park later on.

Maggie: Yeah, I hope so.

David: I知 sure I will.

Maggie: Ok.

David: Thanks for coming.

Anna: That's good. Reggie's testimony should put Luis away for some time.

Jack: And, Reggie, you won't have to worry. As long as I知 D.A., Luis is not going to ever be out on bail.

Anna: So, Reggie, you're free to go, and thank you. And stay out of trouble. I don't want to see you in here, again, ok?

Reggie: Yes, ma'am. Thank you.

Anna: Thank you.

Reggie: I will see you back at the crib.

Jack: All right, son. Sounds good. Anna, thank you.

Erica: So finally I can take you back to the crib.

Jack: Yeah.

[Phone rings]

Jack: Yeah, Montgomery here. You got the confession? Well, start racking up the new charges. On my way.

Erica: On your way? I hope you mean on your way home. No more work today, Jack.

Jack: Listen, listen, listen, we're going to make a one quick stop. And believe me, you will be glad we did. Officer Lyman, let's go, right now.

Bianca: I want you to admit it. You're guilty, aren't you?

Michael: Probably, but you'll have to be more specific.

Bianca: You know what I知 talking about. You framed Lena.

Michael: Oh, is that what you think?

Bianca: Yeah, I want to hear you say it. You're the one responsible. You're the reason she's in jail right now.

Michael: Sorry, but you're not going to hear that from today.

Kendall: Oh, yes, she is. Lena's innocent, and we have the proof.

Anna: Oh, Maggie, my favorite person.

Maggie: Hi. How you doing?

Anna: Ok.

Maggie: Listen, I know you're probably really busy, but I知 here to offer my services to you. You know, if I could be a go-between for you and David.

Anna: A go-between?

Maggie: I値l do anything to help you guys get back together. I just told David, and I知 going to tell you the same thing, I think you both really need each other right now.

Anna: You saw him? How is he?

Maggie: He's actually a lot better than I expected. He's a little distracted. But energetic, I think.

Anna: Really?

Maggie: Yeah, I guess all that research is really helping him out.

Anna: What research?

Maggie: He has all of his lab equipment out, and he's working really hard at it. A little too hard, I think, but --

Anna: Did he say what he was working on?

Maggie: No. No, but whatever it is, he -- he's really working at it, and he just said that he will be really happy when he finishes it, and the whole town would know. Wait, Anna. Is something wrong with that?

[Tad hums]

Tad: You know, we don't have to worry about that torch anymore.

Liza: You know, if I could find it, I壇 know where to stick it.

Ruth: Joe, get her a towel.

Tad: Please, Dad. Poor thing.

Joe: Liza.

Jamie: Dad, that was so cool. That was awesome.

Tad: Thank you very much. Thank you, thank you.

Brooke: You think now would be a good time for that talk, hmm?

Tad: You're such a killjoy. Fine. Just remember this is your mother's idea. I知 parched. How about some lemonade? Mom, if you would do the honors.

Ruth: Oh, I got a fresh batch right up here.

Tad: Grandma Kate痴 original?

Ruth: Uh-huh.

Tad: Remember the year we found the sea monkeys in it?

Ruth: There you go.

Kendall: It's over, Bianca. Michael's finally going to get what he deserves.

Michael: You know, you two are just pale imitations of your mother. She's been trying for months to extract some kind of wild revenge on me. But guess what, ladies -- I am still here. This day just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it?

Erica: It sure does. Hello, Michael. Happy Fourth. We're here for the fireworks.

Michael: Good. Enjoy yourself, but if you'll excuse me, I have plans. Shall we?

Mia: Oh, no. I think I知 going to enjoy the show right here.

Michael: Fine. Well, if you'll excuse me, everybody. Thank you. Have a nice night.

Jack: I guess it's for the best because Mia couldn't go where you're headed, anyway. Officer Lyman?

Michael: What the hell are you trying to pull here?

Jack: The best part of my job, my friend. The best part of my job. Officer?

Michael: Is this some kind of a joke?

Jack: No, it's not. I致e got a list of criminal charges as long as my arm. I致e got a long arm.

Ofc. Lyman: Michael Cambias, you're under arrest.

Michael: You know what? Jackson, DA, you're going to regret this. So you better stop now before you embarrass yourself.

On the next "All My Children" --

Kendall: Why can't you give me even the tiniest fraction of what you give my sister?

Carlos: You used me, Greenlee.

Opal: Scoff if you like, but I am telling you, you steer clear of Li-- Liza.

Anna: Whatever that is, you put it away now.
