Carlos: Those emails -- they're not my words. I didn't write the emails.
Tad: Looks to me like somebody's out to destroy Fusion without getting their own hands dirty.
Michael: Lena's current assignment is to get Bianca into bed.
Erica: I accept your proposal, Jack.
Jack: You know what they say about deathbed confessions -- you can't take them back.
Liza: The lawsuit that was slapped on Fusion is groundless. I mean, it's never even going to make it to court.
Simone: No one is talking Chapter 11. Whoever said that to you is absolutely wrong.
Liza: I tell you what -- why don't you let me come to New York and I'll -- if you guarantee me some counter space, I'll give you the display, I'll guarantee you a sellout.
Simone: Shelf space for 30 days, that's all we're asking. You have nothing to lose.
Liza: I wish you'd let me take you to dinner.
Simone: The risk is all ours.
Liza: I'll send you out the samples, right, and I'll just check back with you on Monday.
Simone: Well, I'm sorry you feel that way.
Liza: Ugh. Why do I feel like we're trying to offload some swampland?
Simone: No, that's Kendall’s department.
Liza: Did you fare any better?
Simone: No. Not one major department store -- or boutique, for that matter -- wants to even touch Fusion cosmetics.
Liza: Yeah, I sort of got the same response. I think this pending lawsuit is a big liability.
Simone: You know, we almost lose our lease, I serve jail time --
Liza: Yeah, well, I'm going to be dealing with that guy who tried to blacklist us.
Simone: You know, it seems like as soon as we, like, get over the last hurdle -- you know, clear it -- wham, this bogus lawsuit.
Tad: Evening, ladies.
Boyd: Liza. Simone.
Simone: Oh. Well, it seems that this room's exceeded capacity for boyish good charms.
Liza: How do you two know each other?
Tad: Oh, we met barking up the same tree.
Boyd: I'm checking out the lawsuit for Enchantment.
Tad: And I was chasing the ball for Fusion, so --
Boyd: So we decided if we teamed up, we'd cover more ground, so here we are.
Simone: Ah. And what did you two turn up?
Liza: Yeah, I hope you've made more progress than we have.
Tad: Well, that would depend.
Liza: On what?
Tad: On whether or not you consider getting a bogus lawsuit dropped progress.
Greenlee: Carlos, you didn't write those emails?
Carlos: No. But my heart was behind every word that Sydney wrote. I'm not good with words, but I know what I feel, and I told Sydney about you, what inspired me about you, and she found the poetry inside of me.
Greenlee: You mean lies, total hurtful lies.
Kendall: Bianca, there's something I need to tell you. Please, please come with me.
Joe: Wonderful news. Your Uncle Jack has regained consciousness -- and he wants to see you.
Erica: You're alive!
Erica: You came back to me.
Jack: Erica, don't I always?
Erica: But I was so scared. I was so scared that I was going to lose you. But to see you now and to hear you say my name --
Jack: How could I ever forget my heart? Your initials are carved on it -- you know that.
Erica: You have no idea how close you came. Bianca's outside, barely holding it together.
Jack: Well, get her in here. I got to take care of my girls.
Erica: And we need you. Let me tell you something -- we need you. I certainly do. I don't know how I fooled myself into thinking that I could possibly get along without you, because I would be completely lost without you.
Jack: Your best friend?
Erica: My everything. My everything, Jack.
Jack: I'll be that everything, Erica. But you've got to tell me --
Bianca: Oh. Thank God.
Bianca: Can I cut in? Oh, I love you so much, Uncle Jack.
Jack: Hey, Bianca. I love you, too, baby.
Bianca: I love you so much.
Jack: Thanks for coming.
Bianca: Thank you.
Kendall: Um -- excuse me. Dr. Martin?
Joe: Yes, Kendall?
Kendall: I -- I didn't want to butt in before. Erica and Bianca must be so happy about Jack.
Joe: Oh, indeed, they are. We're all relieved.
Joe: Jack did very well in surgery, and all his vitals are stable.
Kendall: Well, I know he lost a lot of blood, but he's awake and talking and that's good, right?
Joe: Oh, yes. Yes, it's good, but we'll be cautious and say it's a good start because he has a long and unpredictable road ahead of him before recovery.
Kendall: Well, can you tell me, are -- are you talking about brain damage?
Joe: Jack has sustained major trauma, so we have to expect that there will be setbacks and we're going to work to overcome them.
Kendall: Well, I'll pray for him.
Kendall: And thank you for keeping me in the loop.
Joe: Oh. Oh, Kendall? I understand that you brought Erica here when she learned the news?
Kendall: Yeah. She was way too wrecked to drive herself.
Joe: Very nice of you. And Erica won't forget a kindness. Neither will I.
Liza: You saved Fusion, you do the honors.
Tad: Okay. I would like to thank the academy, both my mothers, and everybody I've ever met --
Simone: How about we toast our plaintiff, Gertrude Stark?
Liza: Oh, I think I'd rather gargle glass.
Simone: Well, she did drop the lawsuit.
Tad: Yeah, well, only after I scared her and about 28 cats spitless.
Simone: Oh. And you rode backup?
Boyd: Let's just say she changed her attitude when we told her she could wind up in jail for extortion.
Tad: And that they didn't allow pets up in Statesville.
Boyd: Exactly. She dropped the suit like a bad habit.
Simone: Oh, you guys are awesome. Because of you, now Fusion can storm right back onto the retail shelves.
Liza: Angry creditors and nasty process servers will no longer shadow our door.
Boyd: Hear, hear.
Simone: And for our appreciation, I am going to give you --
Simone: A sneak peak at our latest Fusioneyes palette.
Boyd: Oh. You sure you want to do that? I mean, I am still the competition.
Simone: Yes, but you're also a brilliant chemist and I value your input and -- what was the third thing? Oh, yeah -- and I trust you.
Boyd: Not to mention you find me irresistibly cute.
Simone: Hmm. Hmm.
Tad: So --
Tad: Bet you can't wait to tell Greenlee and Mia.
Liza: Oh, they're going to be ecstatic.
Tad: Well, I just thought you should know that I also accept sneak peaks as tokens of gratitude and maybe a little kiss on the cheek.
Tad: There you go.
Liza: I'll tell you what -- why don't you give me the truth and tell me all the details that you just left out right now?
Tad: Okay. For starters, I'd have to say we're going to have to file this one under "Pages from the weird side."
Carlos: Greenlee, I would never lie to you. You're getting everything all twisted.
Greenlee: Why did you do it, Carlos? Why not write the letters yourself?
Carlos: Oh, come on. The -- the office handyman trying to be a poet? You would have laughed at me.
Greenlee: So you seduced me with words that weren't even yours? I lived for those words, Carlos. They gave me hope and courage and strength when I needed them. I asked myself, "What kind of man writes something like this?" Obviously, not you.
Carlos: I was just trying to have everything out in the open so it'll be honest.
Greenlee: Well, it's too late. It's too late. Those letters were like a passport. They gave you permission to come into my life.
Carlos: Look, nothing's changed. I'm still -- I'm here, and everything you read is everything that I felt, that I still feel, and I just wanted you to know that before anything --
Greenlee: Spare me.
Carlos: Look, I needed to find a way to reach you --
Greenlee: You ran a scam. Scam's over.
Carlos: Okay, look, Greenlee, I need you to listen because I'm still the man you know me to be.
Greenlee: I don't know who the hell you are.
Carlos: Come on, Greenlee, I need you to believe me.
Greenlee: I believe you're a liar. And thanks to you, that's all I'll ever believe.
Tad: I'm telling you, Liza, it was almost too easy to follow the E-money transfers from Enchantment down to the Cayman Islands up to Ms. Stark's account.
Boyd: Yeah. According to Enchantment's C.F.O., Lena Kundera, the transfer of funds was manipulated by a Barton Phillips.
Liza: Who's he?
Tad: Well, Lena said that he's a numbers cruncher, an accountant that she had to can for incompetence.
Boyd: So according to Lena, this guy tapped into Enchantment's database and transferred the cash as payback for getting canned.
Liza: So he got the money to Gertrude Stark to instigate the lawsuit against Fusion?
Tad: Which could then be traced back to Erica.
Liza: But that means that we were never the target.
Boyd: No. Fusion was just collateral damage. Whoever set all this up was after Erica and my anti-aging formula.
Liza: Do you have any ideas who that might be?
Tad: Well, offhand, Michael Cambias springs to mind.
Simone: Okay. Guys? Group huddle. Now that the lawsuit is dead, I have got a brilliant way of taking Fusion off the crime sheet and back into the homes of millions.
Liza: This doesn't involve breaking and entering, does it?
Simone: No. No, no. But I do require a little aiding and abetting.
Liza: Oh, Simone's ideas are usually long on brilliant and short on legal.
Simone: No, I -- this will get us noticed, not arrested. I promise. Really.
Carlos: Look, Greenlee, I would never mislead you like that.
Greenlee: You used someone else's words.
Carlos: No, come on. And if I would've used a greeting card, how would that be different?
Greenlee: You would've signed the damn card. But instead, you were someone else who got me all tangled up in his words.
Carlos: Oh, yeah, and then if I would've used Spanish, like you'd understand that.
Greenlee: You would've spoken to me with your eyes. But instead, I got some ghost writer with a keyboard and email address.
Carlos: No, no, no, no. That's not as cold as you're making it sound.
Greenlee: You know what? I opened my heart to you under false pretenses.
Carlos: You know it wasn't like that.
Greenlee: Question -- those folk-art doodads that you come up with -- is there someone behind the scenes coming up with those, too?
Carlos: Okay, okay. Those folk-art doodads, as you call them? That's my way of reaching out to you. And you threw it in the garbage. You threw it in the trash. You really know how to make a man feel welcome, don't you?
Greenlee: Who the hell asked you to bother?
Carlos: I wanted to know you. This woman, she's like sugar candy, hard and sweet. Now tonight, for the first time, I felt you melting away in my arms into something new. And then when we kissed, I had your permission -- at least I thought -- to start something new.
Greenlee: And then you ruined it.
Carlos: I told you the truth. No soy Miguel Cervantes -- I'm not Garcia Lorca and -- look, I'm Carlos Reyes. I'm a handyman. But I'm more than that, and I wanted you to know that before we go any further.
Greenlee: Oh, is this where I go all grateful that you didn't wait to tell me when you got me in the sack? "Oh, by the way, I'm an imposter"? Well, now that I do know, I want you to get out. And make it pronto. Did I say that right?
Carlos: Every word, every letter, my heart was behind it.
Greenlee: Just go.
Carlos: Look, Greenlee, I --
Greenlee: Damn, damn, damn, damn.
Erica: He looks great, doesn't he, Joe? His color's coming back.
Joe: And his numbers are all about where they should be. Steady pulse, good respiration.
Jack: Great. When are you going to spring me?
Bianca: Oh, Jack, please. Take it easy on yourself.
Joe: You listen to Bianca, Jack. And I think we should all take this moment to realize how lucky we are. Well, I'll be back later.
Erica: Oh, Joe, just a minute. I'll go with you. But you -- don't you go anywhere.
Jack: Yes, ma'am.
Bianca: I love you so much. Did I say that already?
Jack: Yeah, but I can't hear it enough.
Bianca: Oh. It's amazing -- you wake up and you think it's going to be an ordinary day. And then something like this happens.
Jack: Yeah, it kind of caught me by surprise, too. Bianca, does Lily know?
Bianca: Yeah. Mrs. Neff is going to bring her by as soon as you get moved to a different room. We thought the I.C.U. was kind of scary for her.
Jack: Yeah. Is she okay?
Bianca: Yeah, yeah. She's fine. We were so careful how we told her.
Bianca: I don't know if she realizes how hurt you are. But you sure got Mom's attention.
Jack: Yeah, I sure did, huh?
Bianca: Uh-huh. Seriously, Uncle Jack, do you have any idea who did this to you?
Jack: I don't remember anything.
Bianca: Okay. Well, that's okay. Never mind. What matters is that you're here now with the people who love you more than anything.
Jack: You know, maybe it's the drugs, but you sure look different.
Bianca: Different, good?
Jack: Yeah. Do I know her?
Bianca: Oh. Not really, but you will because I think she's the one I've been looking for.
Lena: So, Mr. Montgomery-- is there any change?
Kendall: Yeah, Jackson woke up.
Lena: Oh, good. That means he'll be okay?
Kendall: That's what we're all hoping for.
Lena: Well, I'm glad for everyone who's close to him.
Kendall: Yes, well, Jackson is a very important part of this family.
Lena: Yes, but you're not, are you, Kendall?
Myrtle: I came. I came as soon as I heard. How's Jack?
Kendall: The news is good, Myrtle. He's doing just fine.
Myrtle: And Erica? Is she holding up?
Kendall: She's been incredibly brave. Amazing, really.
Myrtle: Good. Darling, are you here for Bianca?
Lena: Yes, Bianca and Erica. I'm trying to help any way I can. In fact, these are for them, so if you'll excuse me.
Myrtle: Thank you. Kendall, if you're here to cause trouble for Erica, you are going to have to answer to me first. I don't want any --
Erica: Oh, Myrtle.
Myrtle: Oh, darling.
Erica: Myrtle, I'm so glad you're here.
Myrtle: There you are, there you are.
Erica: Myrtle, Jack came through the surgery. He's going to be fine.
Myrtle: I know. It's wonderful news.
Myrtle: Darling, I just -- I can only imagine how terribly hard it must be for you, now that you and Jack are apart.
Erica: Oh, no. We're not apart, Myrtle, no. In fact, we are never going to be apart again.
Myrtle: Well, what exactly does that mean?
Simone: Well? Come on. Don't hold back. Cue thunderous applause.
[Simone imitates a cheering crowd]
Liza: This publicity stunt could propel Fusion into bankruptcy.
Simone: No, no, Liza, this one's going to work. I just know it will. Tad?
Tad: I do still play poker with rcw's night manager.
Simone: Okay, see? See? Look, we're in.
Liza: Tad, do you really want to spend an entire evening in a deserted studio with Simone?
Tad: Well, it is the best offer I've had all night.
Liza: Oh, you know -- fine, fine. Just leave my name out of it.
Simone: Hey, all we have to do is cut a video promo for Fusioneyes, right? And then we just shop it around to local affiliates.
Liza: Simone, your publicity stunts usually end up with you behind bars.
Tad: It's okay. I'll keep an eye on her.
Liza: Yeah, well, like you're such a stranger to trouble.
Tad: We're a passing acquaintance. So what?
Liza: You're a lot more than that.
Tad: Listen, can we use the equipment or can't we? I could probably shoot this thing in my sleep, and you know it.
Liza: Oh, please. You know, don't tempt fate, please.
Tad: I am just trying to give you the benefit of my experience, you know? My expertise.
Liza: I think that's why my inner alarm bells are going off.
Simone: Liza, you could come with us. You know, supervise. It would be fun.
Liza: Oh, definitely not.
Tad: Okay, then. Looks like you're just going to have to trust us.
Liza: Well --
Simone: This is for all of Fusion. Colby's legacy, I mean, and all of our future little legacies.
Liza: You know what? You don't have to sell me on this. Just get in and get out before the night crews have to set up for the morning shows.
Tad: No problem.
Liza: Better not be.
Simone: Okay, let's roll. I will call Carlos -- thank you -- from my cell, and tell him to meet us there. And -- oh, Boyd, you will be there, right?
Boyd: Are you kidding me? I wouldn't miss this.
Simone: Okay, good! This is going to be so great. This is going to be fun. Thank you, thank you!
Tad: If it's all the same to you, I think I'm going to keep an eye on this Barton Phillips guy, you know. Check out his connections to Cambias.
Liza: Look, forget that and forget all of this. Just get in and get out at wrcw and don't blow it.
Tad: It's okay, you know. We'll get in, we'll get out. They won't even know we're there.
Liza: Hey, Greenlee. Did you see Simone and the guys leaving? Because we have great news. They dropped the lawsuit. We are back in business. What is it?
Greenlee: When in my lifetime am I ever going to be able to trust someone again?
Jack: Well, tell me about your new lady love.
Bianca: Are you sure you're up for that? Because I could go on for paragraphs.
Jack: Sure. I mean, maybe Erica might not want to hear it --
Bianca: Ah. Speaking of which --
Bianca: Looks to me like you and Mom are back together.
Jack: Your mother's scared.
Bianca: Well, sure she is. It's scary. I can understand that. I mean, that's the story of my life. Afraid to give my heart away. Afraid not to.
Jack: You're just like your old man, you know that?
Bianca: Well, I like to think I am. And like you.
Bianca: You two are the greatest guys that I've ever known.
Jack: You know, Bianca, there's nothing wrong with loving somebody with all your heart.
Bianca: But it's such a risk.
Jack: What's the use of living if you're not going to take that risk?
Erica: Oh, Myrtle, this has been quite a day. Quite an experience.
Myrtle: I can imagine.
Erica: You know, I don't think that you're ever really prepared for the worst. But, boy, when it hits, everything changes -- the way you look at yourself, people around you.
Myrtle: You know, when life grabs you and gives you a good shake, it does a lot for your priorities.
Erica: That's it. That's it exactly, Myrtle. Yes, your priorities. When I saw Jack lying there, when I knew that he had been shot, I just -- I knew that I needed to be by his side.
Myrtle: Well, of course you did.
Erica: I was so scared. I prayed.
Myrtle: And your prayers have been answered.
Erica: Oh, yes, they have. When Jackson opened his eyes, I tell you, all the anger, all the misunderstanding, all the hurt that had driven us apart -- that melted away. I swear, it was all gone.
Myrtle: And what is there instead?
Erica: Love --
Erica: And forgiveness. Somehow, I think that Jack cheating death just made me see that I had been cheating life -- and him and myself.
Myrtle: A bit like being reborn.
Erica: Yes. And I swear to you, Myrtle, I am not going to waste one moment of this new life being afraid that -- that Jackson will walk away from me.
Myrtle: Does that mean that you're ready for him to put the ring on your finger?
Erica: Oh, Myrtle. Oh! I think it's way too soon to talk about that. I -- I know that Jack has months of recovery ahead of him.
Bianca: Oh. Myrtle, hi.
Myrtle: Hi, Darling. How are you?
Bianca: How amazing is my Uncle Jack?
Myrtle: Pretty darned amazing.
Erica: Doesn't he look wonderful, Sweetheart?
Bianca: He does. He does. And, you know, it's so remarkable. After everything that he's been through today, all he wanted to know about was how I'm doing -- what's going on in my life and how happy I am.
Erica: Of course, honey. That's your Uncle Jack. And he loves you. And he -- he's pulled through.
Bianca: Mm-hmm. And that is just one of the things that I am so grateful for. So grateful.
Myrtle: Sweetheart, I saw your friend Lena a little while ago. Have the two of you come to an understanding?
Erica: Myrtle, you know, I just was thinking about this. They are so strict about the visiting hours in the I.C.U. So if you want to see Jack, I think you need to hurry.
Myrtle: I didn't know it was so late.
Myrtle: And, Darling, you and I will have another cup of tea and a nice chat --
Bianca: Okay. Love you.
Myrtle: Back at my place, okay? I love you, Darling.
Erica: I love you, Myrtle.
Myrtle: Take care.
Erica: Take care.
Erica: Sweetheart, I need to talk to you.
Bianca: Uh-oh. That's always a prelude to something unpleasant.
Erica: Look, you and I had quite a scare with Uncle Jack today. But we got through that together. And no matter what obstacles are thrown at us, we are going to stand together on everything, right?
Bianca: Mom, is this going somewhere?
Erica: Please, just -- just hear me out. I had no idea that you and Lena had become so close -- so close that you would confide this to your Uncle Jack.
Bianca: Yeah. And he's happy for us.
Erica: The thing is, Uncle Jack, of course, doesn't know all the details.
Bianca: What details?
Erica: Bianca, you know that I never would do anything to hurt you. I mean, that is the last thing in the world I'd ever want to do. But believe me, it is much harder watching somebody else hurt you. And that's exactly what I believe Lena is going to do to you.
Bianca: Mother, why? Why when you see me happy do you always have to try to take it away from me?
Boyd: Where do you want it?
Tad: Right there, where that mark is on the floor. All you got to do is make sure it's about eye line, okay?
Boyd: Yes, Sir.
Tad: Okay. Okay.
Simone: This is almost finished. It's going to be so hot.
Tad: Hopefully. Now, you remember what you're doing, right?
Simone: No, but you're the TV vet, right?
Simone: Yeah, so you can walk me through it.
Tad: I already walked you -- just -- remember, all right?
Simone: Okay, all right.
Tad: When the control booth rolls tape on the promos --
Tad: It's going to come up on this monitor.
Simone: On this monitor. And -- okay, what happens with this monitor?
Tad: Pay attention, Simone.
Simone: I am!
Tad: Nothing happens on that monitor. If something happens on that monitor, start to sweat, because it means you're on the air.
Tad: Or on the air. But that shouldn't be a problem, because only the technical director can slap us on to the network.
Simone: Okay. I see.
Tad: How's the copy coming?
Simone: It's good. It's really -- it's good. All I need is a, you know, a man with sizzle who can make love to the camera.
Tad: Yeah, well, I don't want to brag, but, you know, my dues are current, so --
Carlos: Simone. Simone.
Simone: Carlos --
Carlos: I got your message. What am I --
Simone: Thank you so much for coming.
Carlos: What do you need?
Simone: You remember Tad and Boyd. Carlos.
Simone: Fusion party.
Carlos: The Fusion party.
Simone: Yeah, okay, whatever. Anyway, I am working on a killer marketing campaign for Fusion, and we are going to do it right here -- the demo -- taping it, right here and now.
Simone: How do you say in Spanish "Where there's a will, there's a way"?
Greenlee: So the emails that woke me out of my hibernation weren't written by Carlos after all.
Liza: And your life is ruined why?
Greenlee: Liza, this may be no big deal to you, but to me, it's about honesty and trust and --
Liza: Abject terror?
Greenlee: What's that supposed to mean?
Liza: I just know that you're very upset when you found out that Carlos wasn't the one who personally wrote you those emails.
Greenlee: Well, he cheated. He used a ghost writer.
Liza: Sometimes, people -- they don't know how to put their feelings into words.
Greenlee: Yeah, but he lied to me about that.
Liza: Did he lie or did he just let you believe that the emails came from him?
Greenlee: What's the difference?
Liza: Well, only you can answer that. What upset you the most? That Carlos kept something from you? Or that you're going to open up your heart for the first time in a long time?
Greenlee: Are you saying that I'm using this as an excuse to blow Carlos off?
Liza: Are you?
Greenlee: No. No, I'm -- I'm tired of being lonely. I hate coming home to an empty space. I want to laugh and have someone worry about me if I'm five minutes late.
Liza: And you know what? There's going to be a price to pay. Because there's a chance that you could love and you could lose again. Or you can protect yourself for the rest of your life, Greenlee.
Greenlee: Well, you know, they just keep coming. People giving to get something. That bloodsucker, Andrew Miller, promising Fusion shelf space if I put out. Carlos using phony emails to suck me in. I mean, since when does love come all wrapped up in lies?
Erica: Bianca, the world can be a hurtful place. Just before I learned that Jack was shot, I learned something disturbing about Lena.
Bianca: Mom --
Erica: Believe me, it gives me no joy to be the messenger in this.
Bianca: Nothing that you tell me about her is going to change the way I feel about her. I mean, you can tell me that she's too old or she's too sophisticated or too foreign or too sexy or --
Erica: No, Honey, that's not what this is about.
Bianca: Mom, this is me, your daughter, a grown woman, who has found somebody to care about.
Erica: The wrong somebody.
Bianca: Oh, Mom, it will always be the wrong somebody. It will always be, because even though you're so adamant about the fact that you're okay with having a daughter who's a lesbian who's in a gay relationship, you're really not okay with it at all.
Erica: Honey, please, hear me out.
Bianca: I know that this is difficult for you, mom. But I am with Lena now. When I told Uncle Jack that, he told me that I should never close my heart to love. And you don't know what I would give to hear you say the same words to me and to know that you really meant them.
Kendall: So, you told Bianca about Lena?
Erica: Well, I tried. She wouldn't listen. She wouldn't listen to me, Kendall, but maybe she would listen to you.
Kendall: Oh, no, I don't think so, not in this lifetime, no.
Erica: Oh, please, Kendall. Could you find it in your heart to help your sister?
Lena: Think about --
Bianca: He looked really good.
Bianca: It was good to see you.
Lena: Oh -- you want to come in?
Erica: So I'm thinking maybe if you go to her and you can reason with Bianca --
Kendall: Yeah, but what makes you think I could get through to her? I mean, Binks and I aren't exactly soul sisters.
Erica: That's it, because you're not family. And you don't have a personal grudge against Lena.
Kendall: Except that she cheated with my two-timing boyfriend.
Erica: Well, use that. Use whatever you have to to open Bianca’s eyes, to make her see this woman's treachery.
Kendall: Okay, you know what? I'll do what I can. I will, but at this point, I'm not sure anything I say will change Bianca’s feelings.
Erica: What makes you say that? Do you think that it's gone too far? Do you think that Bianca’s in love with Lena? Oh.
Lena: Look, maybe it's not such a good time -- with your Uncle --
Bianca: No, I want to come in. I want to stay. I want to know what it feels like to be with somebody and never want to leave.
Liza: Liza Colby.
Simone: Liza, it's me. I'm just checking in.
Liza: How's everything going there?
Simone: Oh, honey, it is so fine. But there's been a little snafu, a little change in the format. Here's the deal.
Liza: You did what?
Simone: Turn on wrcw. Never mind. Just turn it on. Okay, guys. It's show time.
Carlos: Look, I've never done -- Simone, I've never done something like this.
Simone: Carlos, relax. Okay, just read what's on the card with as much soul as you can muster down deep inside. And the lips.
Carlos: No, Simone --
Simone: You're going to be great. Boyd, are we ready?
Boyd: We are good to go.
Tad: Everybody in the studio, settle --
Carlos: I haven't done --
Tad: Stop the work, sit down, and shut up. I always wanted to do that. Fusion promo, take one.
Simone: Okay, do it now. In five, four, three --
Carlos: The eyes -- they're the first thing you notice. They invite you in.
Greenlee: What was that call?
Liza: Simone told us to turn on the TV.
Carlos: No words can reveal what's in the heart. But the eyes, they can see straight to the soul. Don't look away. Don't be afraid. The journey is just beginning.
Singers: Fusion what women want
Liza: What are they doing?
Singers: Fusion ah Fusion what women want
Carlos: Let your eyes be open for the first time and let your inner beauty shine. Hold the glance, but turn the smile. Let him kiss away your tears. Let the eyes have it. Fusioneyes -- they're not an illusion.
Simone: And we're out. Yes! Carlos, baby, you were perfect.
Tad: What the hell was that? We were on the air?
Simone: I know. I know.
Tad: What do you mean, you know? You did this, you idiot?
Simone: Oh, well, I -- I think it's brilliant.
Jack: I wasn't sure you were coming back.
Erica: You're joking.
Jack: Yeah, I'm joking.
Erica: Good. Because humor is one of your vital signs.
Erica: Jack, what -- what is it? You want to say something to me?
Jack: I heard you. Did you say those things because you thought I was dying?
Jack: I heard you say you should have said yes. Did you mean that?
Erica: Did I mean that I love you? Yes, with all my heart.
Jack: Did I have to take a bullet for you to admit that?
Erica: No. No, I -- I guess I've known it all along. It's just that when I thought that I was losing you, I had to tell you before it was too late.
Jack: That's the great thing about us, kiddo. It's never too late. So I'm going to ask you again. Will you marry me, Erica?
Erica: Oh. Yes. Yes, Jack. I will marry you.
Liza: What was going through your pea brain last night?
Carlos: Ms. Torres doesn't have anything to do with this. I did it alone.
Edmund: No more talk about slowing down this relationship.
Opal: You are not safe.
Chris: I came to say goodbye.
