Kendall: You want to break up with me?

Michael: I don't know.

Greenlee: Carlos, call me, please, when you get this. I need to talk to you, ok?

Bianca: Maybe we could plan our next date. Do you want to go see a movie or something?

Erica: You can't just cut me out of your life.

Jack: Goodbye, Erica.

Greenlee: Carlos? Anyone?

Answering machine: You have no new messages.

Greenlee: Well, look what the cat dragged in. Weren't you wearing that yesterday?

Greenlee: No time to change, huh? Michael must have kept you pretty busy last night.

Kendall: You bitch.

Liza: Hey. Got your message. What did you find about the lawsuit at Fusion?

Tad: That's it? No flirtation? No foreplay? You're not even going to buy me dinner? You just expect me to put out?

Liza: I'll tell you what. I will talk to you about dinner when you tell me everything you know. What is the scoop? Come on.

Tad: How's this? Looks like your plaintiff, Ms. Stark, made a five-figure deposit in her savings account right after she slapped Fusion with that lawsuit.

Liza: A payoff?

Tad: Looks like it. She'd never deposited anything larger than a social security check before this.

Liza: I knew she was paid to sue us.

Tad: Yeah. Looks to me like somebody's out to destroy Fusion without getting their own hands dirty.

Liza: Yeah, but who did it? And why?

Michael: Look, it won't be long now until Boydís miracle formula belongs to us. I have my best operative working on it as we speak.

[knock on door]

Michael: I'll be in touch. Adam Chandler.

Adam: Hello, Michael. Surprised to see me?

Michael: Only that it took you so long.

Bianca: Yeah, two tickets. Oh, yeah, I'll just come pick them up. Thank you. Hey! I was just about to come looking for you.

Lena: Val told me I'd find you here. Your mother isn't in?

Bianca: Oh, no, she's not, and I actually have some great news. You know that concert that I was telling you about last night? I just scored two tickets for Saturday.

Lena: Actually, Saturday isn't so good for me. I'm sorry.

Bianca: Oh, well, that's ok. I just got off the phone with the scalper. I'll just call him back and see if he has anything for Sunday.

Lena: No, Bianca -- I can't go with you.

Bianca: To the concert or --

Lena: That's why I came to find you, to tell you -- we can't see each other anymore.

Bianca: This is a joke, right?

Erica: Oh, Jack. Oh, thank God. Oh, you're here. You didn't leave me. I knew you didn't mean it when you said goodbye last night. I knew you could never leave me. I knew you could never stop loving me.

Jack: Well, you certainly don't make it easy. But I decided I would rather have you in my life on your terms than to face a life without you.

Erica: Oh, Jack.

Erica: Jack? Oh, no. Well, no. He's not going to just leave me like that. I'm not going to let him.

Greenlee: What's your problem? Making up to prince charming all night wear you down?

Kendall: You know what happened last night after you left me at Michaelís place?

Greenlee: I assume you were on your knees groveling for that snake to forgive you. The rest of the details? I don't want to know.

Kendall: I was here on the roof, trying to get up the nerve.

Greenlee: What? You were going to off yourself over some jerk?

Kendall: No, I was going to push you off, but you never showed up.

Greenlee: Me? What did I do?

Kendall: You went to Michael. You told him -- and you told him that I was after Boyd, even though you knew nothing happened.

Greenlee: I went to Michael to tell him to stop using you.

Kendall: No, he didn't use me. He loved me.

Greenlee: "Loved"? He doesn't love you anymore?

Kendall: Yeah, thanks to you, he thinks I want to sleep with Boyd.

Greenlee: Kendall, Michael totally set you up to seduce Boyd. He wanted you to get Boydís formula so he could steal it out from under you and make a fortune off it.

Kendall: No, that's not true. Michael wanted us to have Boydís formula to help Fusion. He knew it was what we needed to help us with the stupid lawsuit.

Greenlee: Spare me. The second Michael got that formula he was going to buy our company out from under us and call it his own.

Kendall: No, he was going to invest in us, that's all. We need the money, and he had to prove to his father that he could still make it. The man is dying, Greenlee. He's dying. Michael had to prove to his father he was a success before it's too late.

Greenlee: And to achieve that success Michael was going to have his girlfriend prostitute herself to another man? That doesn't make him a savvy businessman. It makes him a pimp.

Kendall: Stop it. Going to Boyd was my idea, not his. Michael said he can't stand the thought of me being with another man.

Greenlee: Is it possible that you could be this naive?

Kendall: I'm not as naive as you think I am. I know exactly why you went after Michael.

Greenlee: I went after Michael to have him stop manipulating you to get his hands on this company.

Kendall: Bull! You can't stand the fact that I have something and you don't. You went after Michael because you want him for yourself.

Adam: I've known your father for years. It's only natural I should pay the son of an old colleague a friendly visit.

Michael: Well, I've been in Pine Valley for some time. You're only now getting around to it? Please, have a seat.

Adam: Yeah, well, I'm sorry. I'm tied up with business. I only recently heard of your father's illness. I'm delighted to hear Alexanderís made a full recovery.

Michael: Is that so?

Adam: Yes, of course it's so. Your father and I have had several successful joint ventures in the past.

Michael: That's true. My father's made you a great deal of money.

Adam: I dare say he's put a few bills in his own pocket. The Cambias fortune is legendary.

Michael: Well, my father and I have earned every penny.

Adam: Yeah, of course you have. And it would be a shame for your holdings to take a hit because of your father's bad health.

Michael: Oh, no, no, no, no. Cambias Industries has never been in better shape.

Adam: Really? Well, that's not what Iím hearing. So that's why I'm here -- to offer my help, if you and/or your father need it.

Michael: Help?

Adam: Yes. Chandler Enterprises is willing and able to step in, give you whatever you might need to bridge the gap.

Michael: Let's just dispense with the charade, shall we? You're not really here for anybody except yourself.

Jack: Ah, for pete --

Erica: Look, Jack, if you're mad at me, why don't you just scream? Why don't you just shout? Throw something. Please, anything. Anything, but don't --

Jack: Walk away? You say you love me?

Erica: I do love you, and you know that I do.

Jack: So show me.

Reggie: Whoa, man, what happened here? You -- you all right, Jack?

Jack: Yeah, Reggie, I'm fine.

Reggie: You don't seem fine. You been acting real weird lately. Ever since you came home last night, you've been looking, I don't know, looking like a drowned rat.

Jack: Reggie, I -- I said Iím ok.

Reggie: And I say you're fronting. See, I know who it is. It's that Kane character isn't it?

Jack: Reggie, do me a favor.

Reggie: No --

Jack: Can we just drop this, please?

Joni: Hi, Mr. Montgomery. What's up with him?

Reggie: Learn how to mind your business. How about that?

Erica: Ah.

[Erica gasps]

Palmer: Oh.

Erica: Oh. Palmer.

Palmer: You didn't even give me a chance to knock.

Erica: Well, no. I was just on my way out. Oh, Palmer, what are you doing here?

Palmer: Well, I have come to offer my congratulations, because I understand that you and Jackson Montgomery are finally going to tie the knot.

Erica: Well, I --

Palmer: And I'm going to walk you down the aisle, because undoubtedly, this is my last chance to give you away.

Erica: Oh, Palmer. Oh. I've lost Jack. He walked out on me.

Lena: I'm sorry. I'm very serious.

Bianca: But we talked last night and --

Lena: Yes, I tried to tell you.

Bianca: So there was something, just as I thought.

Lena: No. No, no.

Bianca: What was it? I mean, did I do or say something to offend you?

Lena: No, you've done nothing wrong.

Bianca: You said you were tired. You didn't say you were ditching me.

Lena: I'm not ditching you.

Bianca: Well, dumping me, whatever translates. Is it because Myrtle came with us on our date last night or because I insisted on driving her home?

Lena: That was so sweet.

Bianca: Well, didn't you have a good time?

Lena: It was a perfect night.

Bianca: Well, what is it, then? Why don't you want to see me again?

Lena: No, it's not that I don't want to. It's -- it's that I canít.

Bianca: Why not? I mean, aren't I pretty enough or smart enough or sophisticated enough?

Lena: Bianca, you're perfect.

Bianca: Just not for you. I guess, as far as you're concerned, it's like I have the word "victim" tattooed on my forehead, right?

Lena: Oh, not at all. I don't want you to be a victim. That's exactly why I can't --

Bianca: What? Be with me?

Lena: Bianca, it's not your fault. It's not anything that you've done.

Bianca: I understand. I got it. It's you, right? It's your problem.

Lena: Yes. Yes, it's about me.

Bianca: You're a coward.

Greenlee: Yeah, how did this get to be my fault? Michael uses you, you try to seduce a good friend, and I'm the bad guy?

Kendall: You cannot stand for anyone else to be happy. You want everyone to be just as miserable as you.

Greenlee: My idea of happiness isn't hopping into the sack with some creep. I have a business I am proud of. I am making something of myself, guy or no guy. You used to want that, too.

Kendall: I did want it. Not your way. I'm not going to ruin other people's lives for some stupid little company.

Greenlee: But you'd ruin Boydís future for Michael? Michael's more important than your company? Your friends? Your pride?

Kendall: Michael and I had a future together.

Greenlee: No, you had sex. And it must have been good, because every time there was a crisis here you were in that lowlife's bed.

Kendall: Oh, you see? That's what this is about. You cannot stand the fact that I have someone in my life, someone who actually loves me, and you donít.

Greenlee: Oh, please. You know what? I don't have to stand here and listen to this garbage.

Kendall: And you know what? I'm not done with you!

Adam: Michael, Iím here out of concern.

Michael: Oh, come on, now. You heard that Cambias was weak, and so you couldn't wait to move in. Am I right?

Adam: To be taken over by Chandler Enterprises could be the best thing that ever happened to Cambias, considering your father's illness.

Michael: Well, it's like I said. That's over now. Besides, I heard you took quite the financial fall because your wife embezzled millions.

Adam: That was a temporary slide. I'm at the helm now. The company's back in top form.

Michael: Good, good. I'm glad to hear that. I would hate to see a giant like Chandler Enterprises crumble because you couldn't control your wife.

Adam: Liza stepped down voluntarily from Chandler.

Michael: I hear she stepped down from your marriage as well.

Adam: Didn't your father ever teach you not to get personal?

Michael: My father taught me a lot of things.

Adam: Well, obviously, not enough. For example, your father never would have botched that deal with Enchantment.

Michael: You know, Enchantment isn't the only attractive prospect in town. Now, if Chandler Enterprises were to ever need bailing out, Cambias Industries would be more than willing to oblige.

Adam: Is that so, huh? I never thought a Cambias would remind me of myself.

Michael: Well, I'll take that as a compliment.

Adam: As well you should.

Michael: Well, I guess we're clear on where we stand?

Adam: Yes, I think we are. I wish you luck in whatever venture's keeping you here in Pine Valley.

Michael: Well, you might not be so gracious if the next company that I target is yours.

Adam: Your father would never have been that foolish. Give him my best.

Michael: I will.

Erica: I'm sorry, Palmer.

Palmer: Here.

Erica: Thank you. I don't know what's gotten into me. Just that I've been through so much and -- I mean, it started with Chris. First, he broke our engagement, and he said such devastating things to me, Palmer, you would not believe it.

Palmer: Yes, yes, I know. I know, I know, and I'm sorry about that. But what about Jackson? You said he left?

Erica: Jackson said that he would love me forever and that he accepts me for who I am and how I am, and then he just walked away. He left.

Palmer: But I really don't understand. Didn't he buy you a ring? I just assumed that --

Erica: That I would say yes. Yes, so did Jack. He assumed the same thing. And he pushed and he pushed, even though I told him I was still reeling because of Chris.

Palmer: You mean you said no?

Erica: Look, I told him that I love him and that I would love him forever and that I want him in my life forever. But he wouldn't listen. Jack said that he just doesn't want to be my friend anymore. But I'm not going to let him get away with that.

Palmer: Well, I don't see what you can do.

Erica: Well, I can find him and I can assure him that I am not going to give him one moment's peace until he agrees not to abandon our friendship. So, Palmer, I have to go. I have to go right now.

Palmer: Good heavens, Erica! How can you be so heartless?

Lena: I'm not afraid.

Bianca: Well, then, what? You said you liked me.

Lena: I do, I do like you, and I really hope that --

Bianca: What, that we can still be pals? You know what? Spare me the speech. I've heard it before, endlessly, from practically every woman that I have ever been interested in.

Lena: Bianca, you're a wonderful person.

Bianca: Just not wonderful enough to date.

Lena: You will find someone.

Bianca: When? Every time I meet somebody that I think that I share a connection with, that someone changes their mind. "I'm sorry, Bianca."

Lena: Bianca, I --

Bianca: What? You wish you could, but you canít.

Lena: I know it's not fair.

Bianca: No, it's not fair, and I'm sick of it. I'm sick of trusting my heart to people who decide that they want something else.

Lena: It's not that. I don't want anything else.

Bianca: Just not me, right?

Lena: Bianca, I'm sorry. I didn't mean --

Bianca: No, you know what? Save it. I swore to myself that I wasn't ever going to ever let this happen again, and I'm not going to. You're right about something, Lena -- I'm not going to be a victim. So just spare me the tears and all the regrets because I don't need them and I don't need you.

Liza: Alfred, thank you so much. You have totally turned this around for us. Thanks again. That was Alfred Vanderpoole with the bank.

Tad: He hasn't been able to tell you no since high school. Big deal.

Liza: Are you jealous?

Tad: A little.

Liza: Of Alfred?

Tad: Yeah, you're flirting with him, not me.

Liza: You know, you really are impossible.

Tad: Yeah, and you love every second of it.

Liza: Ok, you know what? We've got work to do, because Alfred told me that the money was wired into Gertrude Stark's account from a bank in the Cayman Islands.

Tad: Did he give you a name or an account number?

Liza: No. He said he was going to look into it and he would fax us the information.

[computer beeps, printer prints]

Tad: Wow. If I didn't know better, I'd swear that good old Alfred was trying to impress you.

Liza: Oh, come on. Stop.

Tad: That can't be right.

Liza: I guess it makes total sense.

Tad: How? I mean, why try to crush a little start-up like Fusion?

Liza: One reason, and the name is Kendall Hart.

Tad: Kendall? Where are you going?

Liza: I have to deal with this.

Tad: Yeah, what about my dinner?

Liza: You'll get your dinner. If you play your cards right, I might even throw in dessert.

Tad: Ok.

Liza: Adam. Hi. Tad was just helping me with a project.

Adam: Oh, no. No need to explain. I was just surprised to hear your voice since you're no longer with the company.

Tad: Oh, that's all right. I mean, all those corporate secrets are still safe.

Liza: He was just helping me with something for Fusion. I guess I should repay you for company time.

Adam: Oh, no, no, no, no, don't be silly. I'm glad Tad could help. How are things going over there?

Liza: Rocky. But we'll turn it around.

Adam: I have no doubt of it. Well, don't want to interrupt.

Liza: Oh, no. You weren't interrupting. I was done. I was leaving.

Adam: I'll be seeing you later when I come to pick up Colby for the weekend.

Liza: Yes. She's looking forward to it.

Adam: So am I.

Liza: Ok. Thanks. Thanks. Bye.

Tad: I'll be out of your way in a couple minutes.

Adam: No hurry. Excuse me.

Woman: Yes, Mr. Chandler.

Adam: I have a job for you, and it has to be done quickly. Come on.

Greenlee: Let go of me, you psycho slut!

Kendall: You think you can just ruin my life and then walk away?

Greenlee: Oh, please. Take responsibility for your own disasters. You ruined your own life the minute you hopped in the sack with Michael Cambias.

Kendall: Would you stop saying that? I love him.

Greenlee: Why? Why? He totally set you up; made you think playing Mata Hari with Boyd was your idea.

Kendall: No, Michael did not do that.

Greenlee: You're a puppet and he's pulling your strings and you're too much a moron to see it. Michael Cambias is a con artist.

Kendall: Fine, you would know, wouldn't you? Hell, you married one.

Greenlee: What?

Kendall: Well, everybody knows that Leo was really after you for your inheritance. Is that why you have such issues with men, why you think guys are really after money?

Greenlee: Leo is -- was nothing like Michael.

Kendall: That's very true. Leo wanted your trust fund, but Michaelís already rich. So he doesn't have to use me or anyone else to get what he wants.

Greenlee: No, he wants what his money can't buy -- Boydís formula and our company.

Kendall: What would he want with Fusion? Look at us. Look at us. We're tanking. I mean, one little lawsuit and we're ready to file Chapter 11.

Greenlee: Well, you may be ready, but Iím not.

Kendall: Open your eyes, Greenlee. Wake up. We need a major infusion of cash just to keep our doors open.

Greenlee: Oh. Oh, really? So that's it? You're just going to bail? Maybe you can fall back on Michael, marry into his millions.

Kendall: I would love Michael even if he had nothing.

Greenlee: Well, that's all you're going to get -- nothing. No way Cambias will ever marry you now.

Kendall: Yeah, thanks to you, thanks to you ruining my entire life, and for what? For what? To keep this stupid little ego trip of yours alive? Well, you know what? You want to know how much Fusion means to me? This! This is how much Fusion means to me!

Greenlee: Do you have any idea how long I worked on those figures?

Kendall: It's not like you have anything better to do.

Greenlee: Guess you won't be needing Michaelís roses, either, will you?

Kendall: Stop. Stop that. Stop it! Would you stop that? Stop it! Stop it, now! Just stop it!

[Greenlee screams]

Kendall: No, just stop it!

Greenlee: Let go of me! Let go of me!

Kendall: No, I'm going to kill you.

[Greenlee screams]

Greenlee: No!

Joni: Excuse me.

Reggie: You're excused.

Joni: What do you want?

Reggie: I want some paint, and you're in my way. Right.

Joni: You don't have to be so rude about it.

Reggie: And you don't have to put your nose in other people's business.

Joni: I just asked what was wrong with him.

Reggie: And I'm telling you what's wrong with him. He's tired of people like you all in his face.

Joni: But why do you have to be so horrible?

Reggie: See? Like that. Now, if I was Jack, I would find a way to, hmm, keep you out of my business for good.

Joni: Do you mind?

Reggie: What?

Joni: That -- you're pointing that at me.

Reggie: It's a -- a paint gun.

Joni: Well, you watch your paint gun.

Reggie: It sprays paint.

Joni: Ok, you're trying to scare me, and it's not going to work.

Reggie: Are you crazy? Something's really mentally wrong with you. What are you talking about? It's a paint gun. Oh, my God, I have to get out -- oh, Jack, just the man I want to see. Please get me away from her. She's driving me crazy.

Joni: I'm not doing anything.

Reggie: Look, I will clean up the trash on the highway, I will clean up parks, anything to get away from her.

Joni: Don't blame me because you don't want to work here.

Reggie: Oh, I do want to work here, I really do, but I just don't want to work here with you.

Joni: Well, do you think I -- do you think I want to work with you?

Jack: All right, all right, all right, all right! That's it!

Reggie: It's a paint --

Jack: That's it. I said that's it. What is wrong with the two of you? Give me this thing. Shush. Either find something to do constructive, or you can both get out of here.

Erica: Palmer, I have kept my heart open to Jack. I'm not the one who's walking away. I am not the one who is destroying a lifelong friendship.

Palmer: Maybe you are.

Erica: Palmer, honestly, what are you talking about? I thought that surely you of all people, you would understand what Jack is doing to me.

Palmer: Yes, but I do understand. But you see, Erica, right now, someone may be hurting just as much as you are.

Erica: You mean Jack?

Palmer: Erica, the man has worshipped you for years. He stood by, watched you marry one man after another, and very few of them deserving of you.

Erica: And you're saying you think that Jack is deserving of me?

Palmer: He's waited a long time for you to wake up and realize that he is really the man for you.

Erica: Well, then how could he do this, Palmer? How could he just leave me without even a second thought?

Palmer: Oh, you know better than that, Erica. You know, leaving you, walking away was probably the hardest thing he's ever done, something that he certainly never wanted to do.

Erica: But he didn't have to do that. He could have stayed. He could have just left things the way they were.

Palmer: No. He would have ended up hating himself, or even worse, hating you.

Erica: Well, no, I don't think so. I don't think that Jack could ever really hate me.

Palmer: No, I don't suppose he could, really. Oh, well, give it some time. Give it some time. He'll come -- he'll come around someday.

Erica: I just feel so alone.

Palmer: Erica, you're not alone. Hey, Iím here.

Erica: And I am so lucky to have you, Palmer.

[knock on door]

Erica: Oh. Excuse me.

Erica: Oh, Bianca, hi.

Bianca: Hi. Legal needed your signature on a couple --

Palmer: Well, I see you're in good hands. You take good care of her, Bianca.

Bianca: Oh, well, I'll try, Uncle Palmer.

Palmer: And, you -- you call me anytime. When you're lonely, whatever, you call.

Erica: I will. I thank you, Palmer. Thank you.

Palmer: Goodbye, my lovelies.

Erica: But I won't be feeling all alone, will I? Because I have my beautiful, wonderful little girl.

Bianca: Mom? What's wrong, Mom? I mean, why aren't you at work today?

Erica: Oh, sweetheart. It's Jack.

Bianca: You're not going to marry hmm, are you?

Erica: I canít. And he took it all wrong. He walked out on me, for good.

Bianca: Well, it's about time.

Erica: You think uncle Jack did the right thing? He turned his back on me.

Bianca: You know what, Mom? This is not the first time that you have dumped a guy. I bet you know the speech by heart by now.

Erica: Bianca --

Bianca: What did you say --

Erica: Why are you being so cruel?

Bianca: What did you say to him, Mom? Did you say, "oh, it's not you, it's me"? Or "I wish I could, but I can't"? Or how about my all-time favorite -- "let's just be friends"?

Erica: Uncle Jack is one of my dearest friends, and you know that. And that's why I can't marry him. I can't risk losing him.

Bianca: So what? You just -- you just string him along this whole time, even though you have no intention of ever committing to him?

Erica: Bianca, that is just -- that is just not the way it is.

Bianca: Actually, it is. And I'm just thankful that uncle Jack has realized it. Because you know what? Nobody should ever accept anything less than the love they deserve.

Erica: Honey, you just really don't know.

Bianca: Oh, I know. I do. I know, Mom. I know that you pretended to love uncle Jack and Chris and my father, but you never did. You're too much of a coward to love anybody, except, of course, yourself.

Joni: Mr. Montgomery.

Jack: Yeah, Joni. What is it?

Joni: I just -- I wanted to apologize for going off on Reggie here.

Jack: Well, this isn't the place for that kind of thing, and I do accept your apology.

Joni: Well, the thing is Reggie -- Reggie hates me and he's trying to get me to quit this project.

Jack: Well, oddly enough, Reggieís the one who's asked to be reassigned.

Joni: Well, that's because of me.

Jack: No. That's because Reggie has been pushed around and pushed away his whole life and he's found out that if he does the pushing first it doesn't hurt as badly.

Joni: Well, I seriously doubt that Reggie cares what I do.

Jack: Joni, listen to me for just a second. Now, Reggie likes to put up a big front, ok? He likes to seem like he's in control. But underneath that front he's scared.

Joni: Scared of what?

Jack: He's scared that what he's been told his whole life might be true -- that he's not good enough. He doesn't deserve to have a friend like you, for instance.

Joni: So you think I should cut him some slack?

Jack: Yeah. I think if you do, you'll find what I did -- he's tough, but he's loyal. And he'll make a heck of a good friend. You just have to get through that tough shell.

Greenlee: Let go of me, you old swamp tramp!

Kendall: Oh, you can dish out the truth, but you can't take it, you stuck-up little snob?

[Kendall screams]

Kendall: What are you doing? What are you doing? Get over here!

Greenlee: Get off of me!

Kendall: No!

[Kendall screams]

Greenlee: You tarty little toothpick!

Kendall: You know what? You better hang on to your memories of Leo! He's the only one who would ever put up with you!

[Kendall and Greenlee scream]

Palmer: What the blazes is going on here?

Kendall and Greenlee: She started it!

Kendall: She started it!

Palmer: All right, all right, all right, hold it, hold it, hold it. You, speak.

Greenlee: Kendall's ruining this company. She's becoming a corporate spy for Michael Cambias, who she thinks is in love with her!

Kendall: Cruella Dupres over here is so bitter over her dead love life, she wants to ruin everyone elseís. She did it to Mia and Simone and now --

Palmer: You mean to tell me that this fight is over a man?

Kendall: She can't have one, so she wants to ruin everyone else's chances of having one.

Greenlee: I refuse to let that guy use you to take over Fusion!

Kendall: You know what? You don't have to worry about me ruining this stupid little company anymore. You know why? You know why? Because I quit. I quit!

Greenlee: Fine. Quit! Again! We'll all be better off! I'm going home to change. When I get back, you better be gone.

Palmer: You mean you're really going to abandon this company that you started?

Kendall: Palmer, I'm so out of here.

Palmer: Well, you may change your mind when you hear what I have to say.

Michael: It's done? And Palmer Cortlandt doesn't suspect a thing? Well, good. We have them right where we want them.

[knock on door]

Michael: More good news, I trust? You have the formula for me?

Lena: No.

Michael: I told you not to come back here unless you had it in writing. Boyd trusts Bianca. All you have to do is get that little girlfriend of yours to get into his head.

Lena: She's not my girlfriend.

Michael: Or whatever. Lover.

Lena: She's not my lover, either. We just had words. I won't be seeing her again.

Michael: The hell you won't.

Woman: Mr. Martin, this is for you.

Tad: For me? My coffee mug.

Woman: I was told to clear out your office.

Tad: By whom?

Adam: By me.

Tad: Should have known. I guess all that grace in front of Liza was a fake, right?

Adam: Yes, you should have known. But you've been very slow on the uptake lately, Tad. That just proves how totally useless you really are.

Tad: I think your soon-to-be ex-wife would disagree.

Adam: She's no longer with this company.

Tad: Unless her opinion has --

Adam: No, no, no, don't interrupt me. Please, please, please. I've been waiting a long time for this, and I want to say it right. I want you to take this little box of junk and get out because you're fired.

Kendall: I'm through here, Palmer. Don't even try to talk me out of it.

Palmer: I thought you were serious about this company.

Kendall: Yeah, I was. I was a bit too serious and not realistic enough. I don't want to let this destroy my life.

Palmer: What about your friends, your partners?

Kendall: They'll survive without me.

Palmer: Will they? I understand this building has been cited for multiple fire violations.

Kendall: It has? When?

Palmer: Well, I just got the call.

Kendall: I don't remember seeing any fire investigators.

Palmer: Well, from what I gather, you haven't been around here very much.

Kendall: So you think Greenlee's right? You think I'm a liability to Fusion?

Palmer: No. It sounds to me like you're a liability to yourself. But see, that's not the point. When I leased this building to you, you promised me that the company's structure would remain intact.

Kendall: Meaning?

Palmer: Meaning that you would give it your all and so would your partners. Now, Iím willing to pay for the adjustments to bring the building up to code, but you've got to live up to your end of the bargain.

Kendall: And what if I leave?

Palmer: Might as well sell the building, let the new owner deal with the fire inspector.

Kendall: No, but that would destroy Fusion. Mia and Greenlee and Simone -- they wouldn't have anywhere to go.

Palmer: Well, if you don't care, why should I?

Michael: You know how important that formula is to me. We've been working on it for months.

Lena: I was supposed to go to bed with Boyd, a grown man, not an innocent girl.

Michael: Well, you failed. Bianca's an easier target. She's vulnerable.

Lena: I won't use her that way.

Michael: You know, you don't seem to understand. You don't have a choice, because, you see, if you don't seduce that formula out of Bianca, Iíll make sure you regret it big-time.

Erica: You're saying that I only love myself? I have tired to do what I think is best for everyone. No one seems to appreciate it.

Bianca: Mom, you do what's best for you. Don't worry about everybody else.

Erica: Bianca, I am not trying to hurt uncle Jack. I am trying truly to spare him any more pain.

Bianca: You know what? You think it doesn't hurt to let somebody into your life, to open up your heart to them, only to have them bail out on you in the end?

Erica: Ok, wait a second, honey. Are we talking about me now or you? Did something happen? Bianca? Bianca?

Liza: Hi. I need to talk to you.

Erica: Please. I'm busy.

Liza: Yeah, I can see that -- busy ruining your daughter's life.

Erica: My daughter? Look, my relationship with Bianca is really none of your business.

Liza: Bianca? I'm talking about your other daughter, Kendall, co-founder of Fusion Cosmetics.

Erica: What on earth are you talking about?

Liza: I'm talking about extortion and falsification of evidence, the woman who's suing Fusion. Gertrude Stark. Does the name ring a bell?

Erica: No.

Liza: Erica, deny it all you want, but you hired her to ruin your daughter and ruin your daughter's company. I have proof.

>> On the next "All My Children" --

Mia: Well, what are you waiting for, girls? Kiss and make up. We have a company to run.

Bianca: Tell me that you don't have feelings for me. Tell me that you don't want to be with me.

Liza: You're not dealing with just your daughter. You're dealing with me now. That looks like you're in a world of trouble.
