Greenlee: I've met someone. Carlos.

Mary: You can't be serious. He's just not -- he's not really --

Carlos: I'm not really what?

Isabella: You're wrong if you think Iím going to let you destroy our family.

Chris: You were fooling around with my good friend Jackson.

Jack: It's for the best that Chris knows the truth.

Erica: Do you have any idea what you've done to me?

[Captioning made possible by ABC, Inc., and Soapnet]

Maria: Baby mine don't you cry baby mine dry your eyes rest your head close to my heart never to part baby of mine if they what are you thinking about?

Edmund: Nothing. Forget it. I'm just sorry that Isabella broke up your evening.

Maria: No, Maddie's sick.

Edmund: Still, she shouldn't have made you come over.

Maria: She didn't make me. I wanted to be here.

Edmund: Ok. Well, everything's ok now, so you can go back home.

Maria: Edmund, please don't push. I'm -- really; Iím perfectly fine right here.

Aidan: I am not out to destroy anybody's family. Mrs. Santos, I -- I really care for your daughter.

Isabella: Then you would want the best for her. Maria was doing just fine without you.

Aidan: She was lost and she was confused.

Isabella: She had a loving husband, a devoted family, and security.

Aidan: Right, Maria. Maria had that. Maureen has never shared any part of that life.

Isabella: She left it all behind because of you.

Aidan: No, it wasn't for me. Maureen left Wildwind on her own free will.

Isabella: And just now she left this horrible motel room of her own free will without you.

Aidan: Well, I don't take that personally.

Isabella: Maria has an unbreakable bond with Maddie and Sam. For her sake and for yours, I hope you won't interfere with that.

Automated voice: You have one voice message.

Greenlee's voice: Carlos? Are you there? It's Greenlee. Please call me. I need to talk to you. I'm sorry.

[elevator door opens]

Liza: Greenlee? Mia? Oh. Where is everyone?

Carlos: They're all gone.

Liza: Really? I mean, they're -- ok. Well, I'll just be a minute, and then Iíll -- oh --

Carlos: Oh, are you ok?

Liza: Yeah.

Carlos: Oh.

Liza: Oh, wow. I don't know what happened.

Carlos: Sit, sit, sit, sit.

Liza: Oh, my goodness. Oh, can you believe this? I have seen this happen, like, a million times in the movies, and I just didn't think it actually could happen.

Carlos: Well, I can fix that for you.

Liza: You can?

Carlos: Can try.

Liza: Is there anything you can't fix?

[phone rings]

Greenlee: Come on, please, let there be a message.

Automated voice: You have no new messages.

Simone: Bad news?

Greenlee: No.

Simone: Was it -- ok. Excuse me for breathing.

Greenlee: Oh, Simone.

Simone: What? I like it when I work out.

Greenlee: For the 200th time?

Simone: Hey, like you tire of watching hunky guys working out? Think of it as inspiration.

Greenlee: Part of your perpetual fantasy life, Simone.

Simone: That is so not true.

Greenlee: How can someone be so naive and still function?

Simone: You know what, I would rather be naive than totally cynical. At least I have something to live for.

Greenlee: You know, I hate to burst your bubble, but once that tape's over, all those guys go back to their real jobs waiting tables.

Simone: Do you have even one ounce of romance left in your soul?

Mia: I didn't know you guys would be here.

Simone: Hey.

Mia: Oh, you're kidding me. Again?

Simone: Oh, it was Greenlee's idea. So, what are you doing here, anyways? I thought you had a big date with Edmund.

Mia: Yeah, it was canceled on account of a jealous mother-in-law.

Simone: Oh, bummer.

Greenlee: She ran you out of the house?

Mia: Yeah, so I figured Iíd just keep going, finish my workout.

Kendall: He's gone.

Mia: Who?

Kendall: Michael. He's gone. He checked out of the Valley Inn, and he didn't even leave a forwarding address.

Mia: He didn't tell you he was leaving?

Kendall: No, no.

Simone: Well, he wouldn't just leave without telling you.

Mia: No, of course he wouldn't do that.

Kendall: Unless he had a good reason.

Greenlee: Well, what reason could he possibly have?

Kendall: Erica.

Jack: What I did? You can't be serious.

Erica: How could you? You had no right.

Jack: My God, you are serious. You blame me for this whole mess?

Erica: Well, who should I blame? You just kept hinting and baiting. You wanted to rub Chris' nose in our -- whatever it was.

Jack: Oh, now come on! That is not true. You said to me -- you told me you loved me.

Erica: I told you I wanted to marry Chris, and if it hadn't been for you, I would have.

Jack: Whoa, whoa, whoa -- wait, wait, let's back up here. The night that you came to the hospital when Lily was sick and you took me to your home, I don't recall asking you for a roll in the hay, Erica.

Erica: You knew how vulnerable I was.

Jack: How vulnerable? You -- oh, I get this now. This is why you wanted me to leave the room, so you could be alone with Chris and put your Erica-centric spin on this. What did you tell him exactly, that I forced you to make love with me?

Erica: I asked you to leave the room so that I could compose myself. How could you do that to me? How could you put me in such an untenable position?

Jack: That's what you did, isn't it? You told him that I mesmerized you, that I robbed you of your free will, and that I forced myself on you. That's what you told him?

Erica: Well, you did take advantage of me. Because you were so vulnerable that night, you knew that I couldn't say no.

Jack: Oh, I can't believe what Iím hearing here!

Erica: Thanks to you; I have lost everything in my life that matters.

Jack: Oh, no, you havenít. You're still here, and that's all you care about. All that matters to Erica Kane is Erica Kane.

Aidan: Mrs. Santos, I -- I know it must be hard.

Isabella: You have no idea what our family has suffered.

Aidan: With all due respect, I have only tried to help your daughter.

Isabella: Does telling yourself that make you feel less responsible for her children's pain?

Aidan: I really feel for those kids. I do, but I don't feel like I'm the cause of all of this.

Isabella: You took her away from us.

Aidan: Mrs. Santos, I know what those children are going through. My mother died when I was very, very young.

Isabella: So you know that those children need Maria now.

Aidan: Absolutely, yes.

Isabella: Then why has she been avoiding them?

Aidan: She -- she hasnít. Maureen's been working very, very hard, studying, trying to get back into medical school. She just wants to carry on with her life.

Isabella: Just so you understand, that life includes Maddie and Sam.

Aidan: Absolutely. I don't want to come between her and her children.

Isabella: I'm glad, because God is answering my prayers, and it's only a matter of time. Maria will come back to the people who truly matter to her.

Edmund: Listen; I'm not trying to throw you out of the house or anything.

Maria: That's kind of what it feels like. It feels like, "don't let the door hit you in the buns on the way out."

Edmund: No, I'm sorry, I just -- you know, it's just Isabella. I mean, she -- I apologize. I mean, she shouldn't have asked you to come over here, you know?

Maria: Well, I wasn't the only one who had plans tonight.

Edmund: Yeah. Ahem. Uh, Mia and I -- we had the beginning of a date this evening. Your mom is not too happy about that.

Maria: Yeah, I can imagine. Well, she's got a lot to adjust to right now.

Edmund: Yeah.

Maria: Well, how did your date go with Mia? Was it -- was it good?

Edmund: Yeah, it -- this one started out ok, too, you know?

Maria: Yeah?

Edmund: Yeah. She's really great with -- with our little patient. Till hurricane Isabella blew in, and you know -- you know the rest.

Maria: What was it that you were thinking about earlier when I was singing to her?

Edmund: It's nothing. Just a coincidence.

Maria: What? What's the coincidence? Tell me.

Edmund: It was the same lullaby that you used to sing Sammy when he was a baby. Listen, I'm going to get some more blankets just in case she's chilled.

Maria: Hey, Edmund? Thank you. And thanks for telling me about the lullaby.

Greenlee: What does Erica have to do with Michael leaving?

Mia: Yeah, if he left --

Kendall: He left, he left. He definitely left because of her, because her only goal in life is ruining mine.

Greenlee: I wouldn't say that's her only goal.

Kendall: Of course it is. You know she was badmouthing me to Michael.

Simone: Ugh -- but why would he listen?

Kendall: Because she's Erica Kane. Because no one sees through her lies, especially men.

Simone: Yeah, but Michael adores you, right? Hasn't he proven that?

Kendall: Yeah, and she can't stand it. That's why she drove him out of town.

Greenlee: You know, don't take this the wrong way, ok? But Erica runs one of the top cosmetics companies in the country, which leaves her a little less time to worry about you and your boyfriend, much less run him out of town.

Kendall: Well, then why did she find time out of her busy schedule to come all the way over to Fusion just to tell me that he's after Enchantment, not me?

Mia: Maybe you're right.

Greenlee: No, she's not right. Let's -- even if Mi-- even if Erica did poison Michael, I mean, think about it. He's Michael Cambias. He's loaded, he's smart. He's got good looks, he's got a huge family business, not to mention that he's God's gift to women.

Simone: That's the truth.

Greenlee: I mean, I doubt there's anyone, even Erica, who can make him do something he doesn't want to do.

Kendall: So you think he wanted to leave me? You think he just took off all on his own?

Simone: I don't think that's what she's saying.

Kendall: Isn't it?

Greenlee: Well, yeah, I guess it is.

Kendall: So Erica was right about him. And as usual, I am totally wrong.

Bianca: Hey. Can you tell me what happened?

Chris: Uh, you'd better get your mother's version.

Bianca: I'd like both. Chris, I thought that you and mom were doing better.

Chris: Yeah, well, so did I, but she -- she proved me wrong about that and a few other things.

Bianca: Well, you'll work it out. Chris, she loves you.

Chris: No. No, she proved me wrong about that, too, so --

Bianca: Please, just tell me what happened.

Chris: You know, sweetheart, it's really not my place to tell you, so why don't you ask your mother? And if she doesn't cop to it, then you just ask your uncle Jack.

Erica: Well, one person I certainly don't matter to is you.

Jack: Oh. How do you do this? How do you manage to ignore my point and twist my words to serve your purpose?

Erica: I am trying to survive the blow you just delivered.

Jack: You're unbelievable, do you know that?

Erica: You have just ruined what could be my last chance for happiness.

Jack: Erica, I didn't ruin anything.

Erica: You saw that I was about to start and build a full life with another man, so you did exactly what you always do. You blew it to pieces.

Jack: What I always do? What I always do? This is my habitual behavior?

Erica: With Dimitri, with Travis, with Mike. Yes. That's what you do. You are determined to destroy my happiness, my peace of mind.

Jack: Oh, you know, when you're right, you're right. That's what I do. I go, I get my club, I come, I sneak up behind you, I whack you in the head with it, and I drag you back to my cave and make violent love to you.

Erica: That pretty much sums it up.

Jack: Oh! Why would I need to do that? You've always been such putty in my hands. You're just a gal who can't say no.

Erica: Not when you play on my sympathy!

Jack: Oh, how dare you. How dare you! I did not use my daughter to get you into bed. Lily was sick. I thought she might die.

Erica: Yes, I know that. And that's why I felt sorry for you.

Jack: So you made love to me? Who does a thing like that, Erica? And what was all that you were spewing about you only sleep with men you love? And you told me -- I heard it with my own ears -- you told me you loved me.

Erica: Well, what else could I say to you after you -- you said what you did?

Jack: Oh, I see. So this was more pity on your part for me? Is that it, huh? You didn't mean it? You look at me right in the eye -- right in the eye -- and you tell me that you don't love me.

Carlos: Good as new.

Liza: Thank you so much. I really appreciate that. Well, I'll get it on so you can go and you don't have -- ow.

Carlos: What's wrong?

Liza: I don't know, but it hurts.

Carlos: Great. Well, maybe you pulled a muscle when you fell.

Liza: No, it hurts worst than that.

Carlos: Yeah? Well, sit down for a minute. That should help it.

Liza: Before or after they amputate? This is amazing.

Carlos: So where does it hurt?

Liza: My calf.

Carlos: Ok.

Liza: Oh, wow. Um -- so, you fix legs.

Carlos: I think this should help, Mrs. Chandler.

Liza: Oh, well, you know, if Iím letting you rub my leg, I think you can call me Liza. I'll call you Mr. Fix-it. Oh, that was -- that was a joke. I'm sorry if I -- you know, because you fix everything around here, like the thermostat and the wiring and -- and Greenleeís pipes. Uh, that was just sort of a -- a joke. You know, I'm fine. This is going to be fine.

Carlos: Just a few more minutes, a few more minutes.

Liza: All right. Well, I don't really have anywhere else I have to go, so -- so do you -- do you ever do anything besides work?

Carlos: Yeah, of course.

Liza: Because, you know, we were all talking about it one day, and we wondered what you did in your free time. Do you have a girlfriend?

Carlos: No. No girlfriend.

Liza: Well, they're probably all lining up, unless Simone's pushing them out of the way.

Carlos: Simone. She's nice --

Liza: Yeah.

Carlos: And beautiful. All the girls that work here -- they're beautiful.

Liza: Yeah, mostly taken.

Carlos: I think that should do the trick.

Liza: Thank you.

Carlos: It's all right, right?

Liza: Yeah. Oh, you know, Greenleeís not taken. What's wrong with her?

Carlos: For another man, nothing. She's perfect. But for me -- she's not for me. I got to finish my work.

Liza: Ok. Poor guy. He's crazy about her.

Kendall: I'm such a loser.

Greenlee: No, you're not. You're a beautiful, successful woman.

Kendall: I just lost the most perfect man in the world. I mean, what's the point of even looking for another guy?

Simone: Oh, do not give up hope.

Kendall: You think I should track Michael down and confront him?

Greenlee: It's not the best idea you've ever had.

Mia: Yeah, why don't you track him down before he leaves town?

Greenlee: No, she's not going to chase after Michael Cambias.

Mia: And why not?

Greenlee: Because tons of other women have done that, and look at where it got them.

Kendall: Oh, so I should sit by the phone waiting for him to call? Or maybe he'll send me an e-mail.

Mia: Oh, that's low, Kendall.

Greenlee: It's nothing.

Kendall: You know what? Simone is right. I mean, if you -- Greenlee, if you want to sit around waiting for Carlos to call, that's fine. It doesn't mean I'm going to do the same.

Greenlee: I called him.

Mia: You did? What did he say?

Simone: Hmm.

Greenlee: Well, he wasn't there. I left a message. The next step is up to him, and you should leave the next step up to Michael.

Kendall: Yeah, but Carlos is still here. He didn't run out on you. You're not going to lose him forever.

Greenlee: Kendall, come on, you're acting like it's the end of the world. He's just a guy.

Simone: Oh, yeah, but you won't feel that way if he doesn't call you back.

Greenlee: That's not true. I still have my life, my heath, my business.

Kendall: Our business.

Mia: You know, Greenleeís right. All of us -- we all have plenty going on. We don't need to be chasing after guys.

Simone: Oh, really? This coming from the woman who got ran out of the house by a man's mother-in-law.

Mia: That's different, I think.

Greenlee: No, it's not different. We're all the same. They sold us a line, and we bought it.

Kendall: What line?

Greenlee: Cinderella. That our prince charming will come along and we'll have a fairy-tale ending. Well, you know what? It's fake, ok? They sold us a lie, and we all want to believe it.

Bianca: So uncle jack knows why you're leaving?

Chris: Is there anything about your mother Jackson doesn't know?

Bianca: They're close, but, Chris, I mean, it's nothing like you and mom.

Chris: Yeah.

Chris: You know, I remember when your house burned down and I gave your mother the plans to this place. She was just like a little girl. She wanted me to be her hero. She wanted me to protect her --

Bianca: And you're still her hero, and she still needs protection.

Chris: Yeah. Now more than ever, sweetheart. Come here.

Jack: So let me see if Iíve got this right. You told me you loved me just to make me feel better. Is that it? Is that what you did? Answer me!

Erica: I don't know. I don't know. I don't know anything except that Chris just walked out on me, and it's all your fault.

Jack: No, you cannot spend your whole life blaming me for your choices!

Erica: Yes, I can.

Jack: You drove them away, Erica. You drove them away -- Dimitri and Mike and Chris --

Erica: You left out Travis.

Jack: And Travis. You have driven away every man who has ever loved you.

Erica: Then what are you still doing here? Why don't you just walk out and leave?

Jack: Because I'm not like them. Because I know that you don't want me to walk out that door.

Erica: The hell I don't.

Jack: And I'll tell you something else that I know. I know that no matter how cruel you are, how hard you try to push people away, it's just a test.

Erica: Oh, you're crazy.

Jack: No. No, you're looking for the one man who can take everything that you dish out and still love you enough to stick around.

Erica: Well, no one does. No one. They all leave.

Jack: Not all of them. I have never once turned my back on you. I have never once hardened my heart to you. I'm here. I've always been here.

Erica: But it's not making me happy, Jack. You're making me miserable.

Jack: Sure. Sure, because I'm proving him wrong.

Erica: Him -- Chris?

Jack: No, not Chris. Listen to me. It's your father. Your father did this to you. Your father did this to you the day he deserted you and your mom. He's the one who made you feel that you weren't worthy of his love, that you would never, ever have the kind of love that lasts, that any man you ever loved would sooner or later walk out on you.

Erica: You just stop! Stop it now! Stop it! Don't you dare bring my father into this. He has nothing to do with this.

Edmund: Are you ok?

Maria: Yeah, I'm -- oh, I'm sorry. That was stupid and clumsy.

Edmund: It's ok. It's just ice. Just ice.

Maria: Oh, my gosh. I don't know what I was thinking.

Edmund: Maybe --

Maria: Here's some more.

Edmund: The last time you were here when you were ill, and I was doing the same thing to you?

Maria: No, that was -- I mean, you apologized about that in the airport already. That's -- you don't have to get into the habit of --

Edmund: I never meant to hurt you. You know that. I hope you believe that. I just wanted for us to -- never mind. It doesn't matter anymore.

Maria: Yeah. Um, I should -- I should probably call home.

Edmund: Right.

Edmund: Sweetie. Maria --

Maddie: Mama.

Edmund: She's spiking a fever. She's burning up.

Maria: Oh, honey. Oh, my God, you are hot. Ok.

Erica: How dare you! How dare you try to turn this all on my father? My father had nothing to do with any of this.

Jack: Your father has everything to do with this, Erica. He's the one who makes you doubt yourself and everybody who tries to love you. Aren't you sick of it? Aren't you just sick to death of it? Well, stop it. Love me. Let me love you, and we will prove this bastard wrong.

Erica: I can't, Jack. I told you. I just -- I just can't do it, Jack.

Simone: You know, I -- I really think true love is not a lie.

Greenlee: Simone, please. Why don't you let Kendall recover from Michaelís snow job, or whatever it was?

Simone: Why are you so quick to write this guy off? I mean, I'm hardly his biggest fan, you know, but he's, you know, sincere, and, you know, he obviously is crazy about Kendall.

Greenlee: Like Jake was about Mia?

Simone: Oh, Greenlee.

Mia: No, it's ok. She's -- she's right.

Greenlee: You know, you think you know someone, you put your life into their hands, and you get hurt. Every time, even if it isn't part of their plan.

Simone: So because Leo died, you stopped believing in love. You know, you two have made all of us believe it was possible.

Mia: You told us you wouldn't trade one day with Leo for a lifetime with someone else.

Simone: Uh-huh.

Greenlee: Well, that's true. Where does it leave me?

Kendall: It leaves you waiting for someone to love you.

Simone: Yeah, but you don't -- you don't want that, do you? You won't let that happen because you don't want to fall in love again.

Greenlee: You think I should be like you? You fall in love in less time than it takes to microwave popcorn.

[Simone laughs]

Mia: So are you saying that you don't believe in love at first sight anymore?

Kendall: I do.

Simone: I do, too.

Mia: I do.

Kendall: Yeah, I mean, that's what happened with me and Michael.

Greenlee: How's that working out for you?

Simone: You are so mean.

Greenlee: I'm just realistic.

Simone: No, you're mean.

Greenlee: No, I just don't think we should get Kendallís hopes up that Michaelís going to see the light and come back to her.

Simone: Oh, so you think we should all be like you? Is that what it is? So we should go get ourselves a cat and a stack of books and just stay single? Well, I'm not giving up.

Greenlee: What's your next move, then? You going to call some TV producer and want to be a contestant on one of those so-called reality shows?

Simone: That's a great idea.

Kendall: What?

Simone: Oh, my gosh, no. I mean, their scanning process is much more careful than I've ever been with any of mine.

Greenlee: I was kidding.

Mia: Yeah, but at least on one of those shows, it's where the woman chooses, you know, instead of sitting around waiting to be chosen.

Greenlee: Oh, come on. Don't tell me you buy that. Finding the love of your life in front of millions of people? It's all for the cameras.

Kendall: You don't know that.

Greenlee: Hey, if you want to believe it, all you have to do is just pick someone out of a crowd and go ahead, but I don't think any of those couples are going to last.

Simone: Yeah, you know, maybe they won't. But all of life is a gamble. And you know, you got to get in the game if you're going to win.

Carlos: If it still hurts when you get home, you should put some ice on it for about 20 minutes and then some heat.

Liza: Oh, I'm fine. You know, about Greenlee -- I just -- I mean, she has so many advantages and she suffered a lot of loss last year, so I don't think she thinks of herself as a perfect person. She's just, I think, kind of scared.

Carlos: And that's why I sent her the e-mails.

Liza: Whoa, wait a minute. You were the one that sent her the e-mails? Does she know this?

Carlos: Yeah, she knows about it, and I wish she would've never found out because when I used to talk to her through the computer, things used to be so --

Liza: Well, easy and safe.

Carlos: Yeah.

Liza: It sounds like you're both scared.

Carlos: No, no, not me. What Greenleeís mostly scared of and afraid is that people like you will find out that she even knows someone like me.

Liza: What if it's not that? What if she's afraid that she has feelings at all? What if she's afraid at how powerful they are, or she's afraid she's going to act on them? Listen, I -- I just want to thank you for my shoe and my leg. Have a good night.

Carlos: Buenas noches.

Maria: Ok, it was 102. But, honey, you're going to be just fine because we just gave you some ibuprofen, and that's going to help bring your temperature down, ok? And I want you to drink a little more of the soda, the ginger ale, because that will make your tummy feel better. There you go. Good girl.

Edmund: All right, sleepyhead, I'll tell you what you need. You need to go to bed, all right? Let's get you up and going.

Maddie: No, I want to stay with mommy.

Maria: I'm right here, sweetie. I'm right here.

Maddie: Don't leave me, Mommy.

Maria: Oh. Here, honey. I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere.

Maddie: Promise you'll stay?

Maria: I promise. I promise.

Mia: You know, I can't help it. I wish I was in love. I will always wish that.

Simone: And you know why? The same reason you love Fusion. Yeah. That's what Fusion is all about.

Greenlee: Please.

Simone: Oh, it's true.

Greenlee: No, Fusion is not about a woman feeling incomplete without a man.

Simone: It's not that. It's that Mia wants someone to share things with -- someone, you know, that cares for her. I mean, that's what we all want.

Kendall: That is what we all want. Including you.

Greenlee: I don't want to lose myself and my identity in a man.

Simone: That's not what it's about. It's about taking control of your own life -- you know, being your own woman. Just not having to spend a lot of time by yourself being alone, you know? Isn't that what women want?

Kendall: That's what I want. That's why Iím going to go -- I'm going to go look for Michael right now.

Mia: Yeah, and I'm not going to let Mrs. Santos scare me off. If I want Edmund, I'll just go after him.

Greenlee: Yeah.

Simone: Yeah. And if you don't want him, I'll give him a spin.

Mia: No, you wonít.

Simone: I was kidding. I got my own date to chase down. Ladies.

Mia: Oh, yeah. Let's go, let's go.

Greenlee: All right, Carlos. You'd better have called.

Singer: This love this heart these arms to hold so tight to you I won't let go can this be real or just some dream that feels so true? I wish you love I wish you more you are all that I am for Iíll never hurt you believe me my heart beats just for you it only beats for you

Singers: I'll keep the fire alive for you can't feel nothing else what can I do?

Singer: This lonely heart of mine it only beats for you it only beats for you

Singers: You bring me peace you make me smile you give me strength and all the while

Singer: You ask for nothing only love and my heart beats just for you it only beats for you

Singers: I'd say all those things to you if you were here but that's not gonna be 'cause you're not here at all there's only me but I won't stop tryin'

Singer: No, no

Singers: I won't give up Iíll wait for you till you come back

Erica: I love you. I love you with everything I am.

Singer: I'm going nowhere without you

Singers: Give me the chance

Singer: Just make the call

Singers: Just say the words

Singer: I'm waiting for

Jack: God help me, I love you, too, Erica. I'll always love you.

Singer: Yes, it only beats for you

Singers: It only beats for you this love this heart these arms they're only for you this love this heart these arms they're only for you they're only for you

Erica: Chris?

Bianca: He's gone.

Erica: Oh.

Bianca: I came in while he was packing up. He looked horrible. I guess that's not really surprising, considering what you've put him through.

Erica: So Chris told you about Jack and me?

Bianca: What is the big deal with you and uncle Jack? I mean, what could you have possibly done? Oh, my God.

Erica: So he didn't tell you about Jack and me.

Bianca: Oh, that's why he said that if you wouldn't come clean that I should ask uncle Jack about it.

Erica: Look, it's not what you think, honey.

Bianca: Oh, yeah? I think that you slept with uncle Jack. So how far off am I, Mother? And don't lie.

[phone rings]

Automated voice: You have no new messages.

Maria: 99.7! We did it.

Edmund: You did it.

Maria: Yeah, well, it was the ibuprofen that did it. It wasn't -- wasn't really brain surgery.

Maddie: Yeah.

Maria: Oh, thank you. I'm just glad you're feeling better.

Erica: How could you even suggest such a thing? I would never lie to you.

Bianca: Mom, that is not the issue here. Did you and uncle Jack sleep together?

Erica: No.

Erica: Yes. But it was not planned, and it was not what you think. It was -- Uncle Jack was --

Bianca: Oh, stop.

Erica: I didn't --

Bianca: Stop. Excuses don't cut it anymore. God. When are you ever going to grow up?

>> On the next "All My Children" --

Maria: Someone's got to go, and it ain't going to be me.

Chris: You are sleeping with the love of my life behind my back!

Bianca: Uncle Jack is the only man that's ever going to make you happy.

Carlos: Close your eyes, and I'll tell you something no one else knows about me.
