>> Previously on "All My Children" --

Kendall: You were right, Trey. Erica will stoop to anything.

Trey: Please get me the Pine Valley police.

Cassie: I know your type -- making out with a client's son. You're fired.

Maria: Turkey napkin rings.

Edmund: How did you know where we kept those?

Maria: Ok, let's not make a big old deal of this, ok? Please?

Kendall: Mmm. Pretty, pretty, pretty. I don't want to do this. I need my caffeine. Caffeine, caffeine. Oh --

[knock on door]

Kendall: Hmm.

Aidan: Hey.

Kendall: Hey. What's up?

Aidan: Are you busy?

Kendall: Well, that depends on what you have in mind.

Aidan: Well, I just thought Iíd pop over and invite you to lunch. My treat.

Kendall: Another picnic with spotted dick? Come in.

Aidan: I think it's a little bit too chilly for a picnic, but I do promise that you can have whatever you like.

Kendall: Oh, I'll keep that in mind. What's the occasion?

Aidan: I'm just thankful for my first Thanksgiving -- you know, with you.

Kendall: Yeah, it was great, wasn't it? All of us together helping Greenlee through a rough time. It was very special.

Aidan: That is what made your day? I mean, you and Greenlee aren't even pals.

Kendall: Oh, chalk it up to holiday spirit.

Aidan: Well, that's very generous of you. I'm -- Iím quite impressed.

Kendall: Good. Then you can buy me a very yummy, expensive lunch. I got to get out of here and get ready for the maid to clean up, so Iíll just be a minute.

[phone rings]

Aidan: Did you want me to get that?

Kendall: Could you just take a message? I'm actually hoping for a call back on a job.

Aidan: Hello? She can't come to the phone right now. Can I take a message? Sure. I'll make sure she gets it.

Kendall: Was it good news? Did I get the job?

Aidan: Yeah, apparently, it was very good news. But it wasn't about your job. It's about your mother -- the ex-con.

Chris: Stove is all hooked up. I could chop up some fresh tomatoes, garlic, oil, throw it into a frying pan --

Erica: Oh, no, no, thank you, really. Jail has killed my appetite.

Chris: Sweetheart, it's behind us.

Erica: How dare that trash-talking thief have me arrested, and on Thanksgiving!

Chris: What are you doing?

Erica: I'm doing what I should have done months ago.

Chris: And where are you going?

Erica: I am going to find Kendall.

Chris: Wait. Why don't you just park it, take a deep breath, and calm down?

Erica: You want me to park it here and do nothing?

Chris: Erica, look, there's supposed to be a meeting this afternoon at the Enchantment office in New York. Why don't we go together? We can make a day of it, a night of it if you want. We can even go shopping for the wedding. Come on, what do you say?

Erica: And let Kendall get away with this? No, Chris. This has got to stop, and I'm the only one who can do it.

Chris: Erica --

Erica: I'm going to scare the daylights out of her. I'm going to send her packing back to Florida where she belongs.

Chris: Well, if that's the way you feel, then Iíve got an idea.

Erica: Look, Chris, I'm sorry, but a bowl of spaghetti isn't going to do it for me.

Chris: Why don't we just cancel our wedding and we'll make plans for Kendallís funeral?

Laurie: Can you believe that she did that?

Girl: No.

Laurie: Bye. See you around.

Girl: Bye.

J.R.: Hey, Laurie.

Laurie: What do you think you're doing?

Edmund: Yeah, would you hold off printing those invitations to the Crystal Ball? Yeah, I know. It's -- I just haven't decided whether Iím going to have it this year. I realize it's tradition, but things are a little different this year. So Iíll call you back, ok? Thanks.

Maria: Hey.

Edmund: Hi.

Maria: Business on such a lovely day?

Edmund: Hey, well -- how was your ride?

Maria: It was good. It was good, but I was kind of hoping something might spark a memory.

Edmund: Nothing?

Maria: No, nothing.

Maddie: Mommy, you're still here!

Maria: I am. Oh. Look at you. I've got a little bit of cranberry sauce, some tasty leftover from Thanksgiving.

Maddie: You're the best leftover ever. I'm so glad you stayed. Will you stay with us for Christmas, too?

Edmund: Christmas is a long way away.

Maddie: But I have to know so I can decorate mommy's room special and put out her stocking. Will you stay? Please?

Edmund: Maddie, we will talk about this.

Maddie: You have to.

Edmund: Maddie --

Maddie: And after Christmas there's the Crystal Ball. That's on New Yearís Eve. You could stay then, too.

Edmund: Maddie, that's enough.

Maria: Edmund, let her be.

Maria: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap at you.

Maddie: I'm sorry, too, daddy.

Edmund: Yeah, well, I'm sorry, three. You did nothing wrong. You're just excited about mommy staying over.

Maddie: I want her to stay over all the time.

Edmund: Oh, you do? Well, that's just not possible right now.

Maddie: Don't you want mommy here for keeps?

Edmund: Do I want mommy here for keeps? Do I want the sun to come up in the morning? Well, it's just -- there's a lot going on right now, you know? And --

Maria: Daddy's just trying to be a gentleman and not have me do something that Iím not ready to do.

Maddie: You don't want to live here?

Maria: Oh, I do. I do want to live here, but remember how we talked about the accident and how there's things that I don't remember? We're just waiting until I remember more.

Maddie: I don't understand.

Maria: I know. I know you don't understand. I don't always understand, either, but it's very confusing, and there is one way that you can help me out.

Maddie: I can?

Maria: Yeah. Come over here and tell me all about the Crystal Ball.

Maddie: Sure. All the ladies wear beautiful gowns, and the men wear penguin suits.

Maria: Do they waddle?

[Maddie laughs]

Maddie: No.

Maria: No?

Maddie: They dance in circles and they talk about missing you.

Maria: Well, is it fun? Do they have a good time?

Maddie: Lots. And then everyone toasts and cheers and kisses like this. But this year will be different.

Maria: Why is that?

Maddie: Because they won't talk about missing you because you're here.

Edmund: She certainly is.

Maddie: You can get dressed up and dance with Daddy and kiss at midnight just like everyone else. Will you come?

Maria: Well, if you want me there, I will be there with bells on. I wouldn't miss it for the world.

Maddie: Yay!

Maria: Yay!

Maddie: I better go pick out a dress.

Maria: Oh, ok.

Edmund: Our daughter is very persuasive.

Maria: Yes, she is.

Edmund: But I don't want to pressure you into doing something you're not ready for, so that's why I'm thinking about canceling the ball.

Maria: No, no, no, no. Edmund, no. You can't do that.

J.R.: What was that about?

Laurie: Like you don't know.

J.R.: Hello? I just got here.

Laurie: Just leave me alone.

J.R.: I thought we were cool. I had a great time with you at the party.

Laurie: I'm glad someone had fun.

J.R.: You didn't?

Laurie: I got fired.

J.R.: What? What happened?

Laurie: You.

J.R.: It's my fault?

Laurie: You were the only person I was in the attic with. When we went back to the party, Cassie totally busted me.

J.R.: I'm so sorry. I had no clue.

Laurie: Maybe you should call once in a while. You didn't even check to see if I got home after the party.

J.R.: I should have. I'm sorry.

Laurie: Whatever.

J.R.: I mean, Jamie got -- he got wasted at the party, and he outed my dad and Brooke English about their affair. It's all over the tabloids.

Laurie: I'll be sure to pick one up.

J.R.: And then Liza's sister, Mia -- she had an accident. She's in real bad shape.

Laurie: Is she going to be all right?

J.R.: Nobody knows yet. Anyway, I just -- it just really got me down, and I didn't feel like talking to anyone.

Laurie: That's why you blew off school?

J.R.: Well, with all those people, like, pointing and whispering, I couldn't deal.

Laurie: You ditched because of some gossip? What about your grades? It's our senior year.

J.R.: I got it covered.

Laurie: That's right. If your grades suck, your dad will just throw down to get you into any college you want.

J.R.: I didn't say that.

Laurie: You didn't have to.

Erica: Cancel our wedding? How could you even say that?

Chris: Given the circumstances --

Erica: As if something else -- I mean, anything else -- could possibly be more important than us --

Chris: You'd think.

Erica: And our future?

Chris: You would think that. But Kendall is filling every nook and cranny in that beautiful mind of yours.

Erica: No, she's not.

Chris: Yes, she is. All you ever think about -- paybacks, smack-downs, revenge, "how do I get even with her?" -- This can go on forever.

Erica: No, that's why I want to stop it now. If I can just get rid of Kendall --

Chris: Why don't you just forget about her?

Erica: Forget about her? Is that your solution, after everything that she has done to me?

Chris: Because of everything she's done.

Erica: And I suppose you want me to forget about Trey, too?

Chris: Yeah. Yes, I do. I want you to sit down here with me. Good. Now let it go.

Erica: And let Trey and Kendall win? Look, I'm sorry. I am just -- Iím filthy, I'm hungry, I'm exhausted because they put me in jail.

Chris: No, no, no -- because you were guilty of trespassing.

Erica: Chris, what choice did I have? I mean, you said yourself, I mean, that the case against Trey was falling apart, and I happen to know that she is hiding his signed confession. I had to have it.

Chris: Ok, ok, let's just say suppose you found the confession. Then what, huh? You couldn't do anything with it. You obtained it illegally. It wouldn't hold up in court.

Erica: What is this? What kind of a legal system is this that allows the criminals to get away with -- with demolishing other people's happiness?

Chris: Erica, don't you understand? They don't have any control over us, not unless you let them.

Erica: What are you talking about?

Chris: You're stronger than they are. You have to trust that strength. You have to trust our love. Because if you don't walk, the two of us -- we don't stand a chance.

Bianca: Chris is right, mom. It's time to let Kendall go and move on with our lives.

Kendall: I can explain about Erica.

Aidan: Are you sure you don't want to hold off until you've heard the good news?

Kendall: Sure.

Aidan: Well, a cop called to let you know that the charges that you filed against Erica have been dropped as you requested.

Kendall: Great. Good. Let's go. Let's celebrate. Come on.

Aidan: You got your mother arrested?

Kendall: She broke into my room.

Aidan: And you just decided to call the police?

Kendall: I -- I had no choice. She trespassed.

Aidan: You mean, like you did when you fooled me into taking you into your mother's penthouse?

Kendall: That was different.

Aidan: Yeah, she didn't call the cops on you. If you were so bothered about getting your mother arrested and put behind bars, how come you just let the cops just set her loose?

Kendall: Maybe I felt sorry for her.

Aidan: That is just -- that's not your style, though, Kendall. There's got to be something in it for you, isn't there?

Kendall: Look, can we just drop this?

Aidan: Ah, of course. I mean, hey, with your mother behind bars, what fun is that, hey?

Kendall: You don't get it.

Aidan: Yes, I do. You set your mum up to teach her a lesson, didn't you?

Kendall: I can't -- I can't talk about Erica on an empty stomach. Come on, let's go. Let's eat. We need to eat.

Aidan: My God, you did. You did, didn't you? You did it.

Kendall: Look, Erica bribed a bellboy. She was rummaging through my things when I got here.

Aidan: But what could you possibly have that Erica would break in here to get?

Kendall: Trey's signed confession that he torched her house.

Aidan: So then she had a damn good reason to break in here, then.

Kendall: What's that supposed to mean?

Aidan: Well, Erica was out for justice, wasn't she? And you hit her penthouse for what? For an address of a guy that doesn't even want to see you again?

J.R.: What's your problem?

Laurie: You just don't get it, do you?

J.R.: I'm sure you'll tell me.

Laurie: Do you know how hard it is to find a job that gives me time to study? If I don't keep up my grades, I can forget about a scholarship to a decent college.

J.R.: Ok, so you want me to help you get your job back? A call from Adam Chandler -- you'll own the catering company. You can fire Cassie.

Laurie: You're so warped.

J.R.: I'm trying to help.

Laurie: That kind of help doesn't work in the real world. On planet Chandler, you can skip school and never get a job, and it's no big deal.

J.R.: You think I have a free ride?

Laurie: Don't you?

J.R.: I told you -- money doesn't guarantee happiness. Hell, I'd throw it all away tomorrow.

Laurie: That's easy to say when your allowance could feed a family of four. But I need a job, quick.

J.R.: I want to help, really.

Laurie: Not your problem.

J.R.: Laurie, I want to -- I want to go back to where we were at the party in the attic. You remember?

Laurie: Yeah.

J.R.: What?

Laurie: I got to go.

J.R.: Laurie -- Laurie!

Man: Looks to me like she wants to be left alone.

J.R.: Who -- forget it.

Erica: Bianca, honey, Kendall deliberately went after you. I mean, that can't go unpunished.

Bianca: Kendall's punishment is having to be Kendall.

Erica: But if she's allowed to get away with these stunts, I mean, who's to stop her from doing worse in the future? I would never forgive myself, honey, if I let down my guard and she hurt you again.

Bianca: Ok, but I think that Chris is right. I think that she can't possibly hurt us unless we let her.

Erica: Excuse me. The fact is she just had me arrested. We just spent Thanksgiving in jail.

Bianca: That's right, and it was perhaps one of the best holidays we ever had. Right?

Erica: Well, we were all together, that's true. And I never have been so grateful for my family and friends. And, yes, we were all together, even if you were hauled in on civil disobedience.

Bianca: Right.

Chris: Yeah.

Bianca: So you see, we always have each other. And Kendall can do her worst, but she can't ever get to that.

Erica: Honey, you're right, of course, but there's --

Bianca: So here's my plan -- Kendall is out of my life and my mind for good, starting now. I really hope that you can do the same.

Erica: All right, all right. I promise she's out of my life. I'll forget about her and her brother, ok?

Chris: Well, now, if that's true, you've made me a happy man. Again.

Erica: All right, then. Oh, I'm dying for a bath. That jail -- ew. Although, you know, it wouldn't have been too bad serving time if I had gotten my hands on that signed confession.

Bianca: Oh, mom --

Erica: I mean, who cares if it's inadmissible evidence in court?

Chris: Oh, Erica, please.

Erica: All right, all right. What would I do without you two?

Chris: Hmm. Well, now that we got that cleared up, how about I call Antonio down in little Italy and make some reservations for dinner tonight? What do you say?

Erica: Oh. Oh, that sounds perfect. Bianca, would you like to join us?

Bianca: Oh, no. Um -- thank you. I have to be some -- I have a study group to go to. Right now, actually.

Erica: Oh, ok then.

Chris: Bye.

Bianca: Good-bye.

Erica: You study, honey.

Bianca: I'll study hard.

Erica: Ok. And just get a good night's sleep --

Bianca: Ok.

Erica: Because those cots were hard.

Bianca: Yeah, they were.

Aidan: I'm sorry.

Kendall: No, it's ok.

Aidan: I --

Kendall: No, you're right. Ryan doesn't want me to find him.

Aidan: I shouldn't have said it.

Kendall: It doesn't change the fact.

Aidan: Yeah, but knowing how Ryan feels, why did you -- you still went after his address.

Kendall: I'm over it, all right?

Aidan: How come? So soon? What changed?

Kendall: Erica made me see the light.

Aidan: Erica?

Kendall: Yeah. She told me that she would tell me where Ryan is.

Aidan: I don't believe it.

Kendall: But there was a catch. She wanted me to serve up Trey's confession. Erica really thought she had me.

Aidan: But she was wrong?

Kendall: I won't turn on my brother.

Aidan: Or -- you won't give Erica the satisfaction of accepting her offer, more like it.

Kendall: What's wrong with both?

Aidan: Hmm, yeah. See, that's more like the Kendall I know. For a minute there, I thought I really saw a sacrifice in the works.

Kendall: Why are you -- why is it so easy for you to think the worst of me?

Aidan: Because you don't make it very hard, do you, Kendall?

Kendall: Didn't I -- didn't I cover your behind when I covered your shift at the bar?

Aidan: Uh, yeah, yeah, you did.

Kendall: Well, didn't I try to save Greenlee's job for her after everything she's done to trash me?

Aidan: Kendall, Iím not saying that you're a bad person.

Kendall: Oh, is that a compliment?

Aidan: No, I'm saying if you helped one person, you think it gives you a free pass to go and screw somebody else.

Kendall: Oh, great, now we're back to Erica. She got what she deserved.

Aidan: What, spending Thanksgiving in a slammer?

Kendall: She survived just like I survived every Thanksgiving she didn't want to spend with me.

Aidan: That's why you were in such a good mood yesterday, wasn't it?

Kendall: I was with friends and family.

Aidan: And Erica wasn't. Meanwhile, she was in some jail without even a slice of turkey. That's a bit harsh, don't you think?

Kendall: I like to think of it as karma.

Aidan: Hey, why do you always do this? I've seen you, Kendall, with a heart, and I really don't know why you just don't give it a chance.

Kendall: No one's ever given me a chance.

Aidan: Yes, they have. It's just you're too busy feeling sorry for yourself to even notice.

Kendall: That's right, walk out on me. Go ahead and walk out on me and judge me just like Ryan --

Kendall: Why did you walk out on me? Nobody walks out on me! Why does everybody think they can walk out on me? I'm so sick of it! I'm so sick of people walking out on me! I'm so sick --

[knock on door]

J.R.: Is something wrong? Hey. You all right?

Kendall: I'm fine.

Maria: Edmund, you can't cancel the Crystal Ball.

Edmund: Well, I was considering turning it into a celebration of your return. But I don't want to push you into something you're not comfortable with.

Maria: No, I think that this is perfect. It's exactly what I need.

Edmund: I don't follow.

Maria: Well, look -- ok, if Iím there and Iím surrounded by all these people who once knew me, then somebody -- you know, something has got to trigger a memory.

Edmund: Maybe, maybe.

Maria: Don't you think?

Edmund: But didn't Dr. Zeke warn you that too much pressure might work against you?

Maria: I don't care what Dr. Zeke has to say. I'm not going to just sit around waiting for memories to throw themselves in front of me. I want to -- I'm tired of waiting and wondering if Iím going to ever be this woman that I was.

Edmund: It'll happen.

Maria: When? No, really, I want my life back now. You know what the worst part of it is?

Edmund: No, but you're going to tell me.

Maria: I am going to tell you. I remember these stupid napkin rings at Thanksgiving, but I don't remember any feelings. You know, here I am -- Iím surrounded on Thanksgiving by you, my kids, my family, and I had a great time. It was a perfectly lovely day, but all I could do was imagine how I used to feel about you guys, how much I used to love you guys. I didn't -- I didn't actually feel it, do you know what I mean? I want to feel that again, Edmund.

Edmund: It'll happen.

Maria: I don't know. You know, when I first came back here and everybody was trying to make me remember who I was, and I just -- I fought it tooth and nail, but --

Edmund: Yeah. I still have a few bruises to prove that.

Maria: Sorry. I'm sorry. Just -- I wasn't ready, and --

Edmund: I know, I know, and you were scared because you were afraid of what you might find out.

Maria: Exactly. I was scared. But now I am ready, and I feel like whatever my memory holds, I know that our love is a big part of that.

Edmund: And we'll have that again.

Maria: I keep telling myself that. I mean, I -- you know, I hope that, but I walk through the house and I keep hoping that Iíll pass something and I'll jog a memory, and nothing. I don't have anything but questions. I don't have any feelings. I just -- I feel empty.

Edmund: You're not empty, ok? You're not. The love that you have for us, for everything, is still inside of you.

Maria: I don't think it is. David didn't just steal my memory. He stole my feelings.

Edmund: Trust me, you still have Mariaís heart.

Maria: But I donít. He ripped it out of me. I -- I've got nothing, and I'm never going to forgive David for that.

[doorbell rings]

Maria: Who is it?

David: Edmund. Maureen.

Edmund: What do you want, Hayward?

David: It's business, with your wife.

Maria: I have nothing to say to you.

David: Just hear me out.

Edmund: Didn't you just hear her?

David: Just wait, wait. I have an offer to make you.

Edmund: Not interested.

David: It's one you really shouldn't refuse.

J.R.: You want to tell me why you're crying?

Kendall: I'm not.

J.R.: Allergies acting up?

Kendall: It's nothing. It's nothing.

J.R.: It's Ryan, isn't it? You still miss him. Me, too. I was halfway to the Pine Cone before I realized that he bailed.

Kendall: Why were you looking for Ryan?

J.R.: Reflex. He was my go-to guy.

Kendall: Your what?

J.R.: If I had a problem, I'd head for Ryan for advice.

Kendall: You needed advice and you came here?

J.R.: You're, like, the closest thing to Ryan -- to a real friend -- that I have.

Kendall: You want some advice? Run before I screw up your life, too.

J.R.: You've always been straight with me, Kendall. You helped me before.

Kendall: And we both know what happened.

J.R.: I'm here -- I'm just here for help, that's all.

Kendall: So, what, did you have another blowout with your dad?

J.R.: Actually, it was a girl.

Kendall: Oh. Sounds serious. What happened?

J.R.: To tell you the truth, I don't even know. All I know is that I spend half the time apologizing, and I don't even know why.

Kendall: You must like her.

J.R.: I do. And she likes me, I think. Just one minute she's all over me, the next she's pushing me away and, like, blaming me for everything that's wrong in her life.

Kendall: Well, she must have something going right in her life. She's got you.

J.R.: Then why does she keep pushing me away?

Kendall: She's an idiot. I -- I can't imagine any girl giving you the shove.

J.R.: You did after I kissed you.

Kendall: We already had this conversation.

J.R.: Let's have it again.

Kendall: I would really rather talk about this girl. So do you like her? Do you want to --

J.R.: Do you ever think about it?

Kendall: About what?

J.R.: Our kiss?

Laurie: J.R.

Joni: Hey, Laurie. J.R.'s such a hottie.

Laurie: Have you seen him?

Joni: No. It's good he's not around.

Laurie: Why?

Joni: My dad's picking me up.

Laurie: So?

Joni: So he's totally ballistic I was at the Chandler costume party. I'm not allowed anywhere near J.R. or Jamie.

Laurie: What'd Jamie do?

Joni: Didn't you hear about this? It was, like, everywhere. He got totally wasted. I really miss him.

Man: You ok?

Laurie: I'm fine.

Man: You looked pretty upset.

Laurie: It was nothing.

Man: That's why you flew out of here? Maybe that kid needs to be put in his place.

Laurie: No! Please, don't do anything.

Kendall: Sure, I've thought about that kiss. But it doesn't mean it can happen again.

J.R.: Because I'm underage?

Kendall: You want to visit me in jail? Why are we even having this conversation? You came here to ask me about a girl. What's her name?

J.R.: I forget now that I'm here.

Kendall: Right. Listen, you need to behave. We're just friends. That's it. It's working out really well. Let's just keep it that way.

J.R.: It's Ryan. You're worried about what he would think if he -- if he found out about us.

Kendall: No. Ryan blew me out of his mind a long time ago.

J.R.: That's not true. He loved you too much. Besides, you're not easy to forget. I know. I couldn't ever.

Kendall: Don't, J.R. donít.

J.R.: You're the most smartest, kindest, most beautiful woman I've ever known.

Kendall: You're young.

J.R.: Why can't you see how special you are?

Waiter: Can I get you anything else?

Bianca: No, thank you.

Waiter: Ok.

[phone rings]

Bianca: Nobody home. Perfect.

Chris: So, you see, Antonio, un tavolo molto elegante con candele, si. Right, romantic and beautiful, candles. Thank you. Well, we're on, and Antonio can't wait to see us. Oh, look at how beautiful you look.

Erica: Oh, thank you. And I can't wait to see Antonio. I love his scallopine, and Iím so hungry. I wish we were there already.

Chris: Let me help you.

Erica: Thank you.

Chris: And thank you.

Erica: For what?

Chris: For deep-sixing all thoughts about Kendall and trey, even if it's only just for tonight.

Erica: No, it's for good. I promise. Really, I swear. I won't talk about them. I won't think about them. I won't wonder what they're doing. I won't --

Chris: Don't make any promises you can't keep.

Erica: I do promise that we will have a wonderful time tonight.

Chris: Oh, that's more like it.

Erica: Although, I do admit I would give anything to get something real on Kendall.

Chris: Mama Mia. Come on, let's go.

Erica: Well, I just mean something that would put her in jail. You know, something that would get her out of our lives for good.

Chris: Oh, I wish.

Bianca: Come on. This always works in the movies.

Kendall: Bianca, what the hell are you doing? Following in mom's footsteps? Get out. Get out before I call the police!

Bianca: Kendall, I didn't know you were here.

Kendall: You don't think I will? Ask mom. Get out now! Get out!

Laurie: Don't do anything. You canít.

Man: No one's going to mess with you. You got that?

Laurie: He wasnít. Really, I'm fine.

Man: All right, then.

Joni: Major weirdness. Butting into your business like that? Who does he think he is?

Laurie: Let's just get out of here.

Edmund: Come on in, Hayward. But make it quick.

David: I really want to help your wife.

Maria: God, how dare you come into my house.

David: Just listen to me. Listen to me. I've been going over all my research for the cardiac serum.

Maria: Oh, the one that obliterated my life?

David: And since it's possible that the drug was the cause of your memory loss and not the accident --

Maria: The result is exactly the same -- I have no life because of you.

David: Wrong. If the amnesia is due to the drug, there's a possibility that with further research I can reverse the effects.

Maria: You're saying you can reverse the amnesia?

David: I'm saying there's a chance I can give you back your life.

>> On the next "All My Children" --

Liz: Mia's worse?

Jack: We could lose her, Liza, and I want to know who's to blame.

Bianca: Kendall, you have never sunk this low.

Jack: David is not your only option.

Maria: You want to blackmail me again using my soul as bait, and I'll see you in hell first.
