  • Smallville is officially Minus One!!
Well, it's official! The WB's cast list for the Fall does not include Sam Jones III. We have, unfortunately, seen the last of Pete Ross, Clark's best friend. *SIGH* The good news, however, is that John Glover is still listed, which means that Evil Dad Lionel Luthor will be back next year! Here is the WB's promotion for next season:
"He's quickly becoming a definitive leading man of Generation Y - on both the big and small screens. He's Tom Welling, the WB actor who has reinvented the image of that American icon, Clark Kent. In the past three seasons, millions of viewers have followed the quiet young loner as he has evolved into a confident small-town hero. Clark has struggled through heartache with Lana Lang, and forged a turbulent relationship with Lex Luthor, the young millionaire who will eventually become his arch-enemy. As this season comes to its gripping close... The beautiful Kara, who has superpowers and claims to be from Krypton, comes to entice Clark to fulfill his destiny, triggering the revelation of secrets and an emotional crisis for Clark. How will he react when he learns of Jonathan's deal with Jor-El? What will he learn about Lex that may change their friendship forever? Will Lex turn on Lionel? What revelation will jeopardize Clark's relationship with Lana? Will Clark leave with Kara? Don't miss the stunning season finale, Wednesday, 8/7c!"

  • The WB's 2004 Fall Schedule is out!!
Well, Smallville's Season Four will still be shown at 8pm on Wednesdays, this Fall. To see the full Fall 2004 Schedule, click here. The event was held at Madison Square Garden. Lenny Kravitz performed.
Tom Welling (Clark Kent) and Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor) were there. Wire Image has some pictures, including one of Tom Welling (with a whole lot of facial hair) and Scott Patterson (Luke in Gilmore Girls). Click here to see the pictures.
Here's what Jordan Levin, the WB's CEO had to say about the return of Smallville: "It took audiences a little while longer than we would have liked to find Smallville on Wednesdays at 8:00, but once they did, Smallville reasserted itself as not only our number one series, but our strongest series with all male viewers. We're using that strength to deliver our two male comedies the strongest lead-in possible. While comedies have not always performed well coming out of dramas, Blue Collar TV and Drew Carey's Green Screen Show represent two non-traditional forms of programming which are key in attracting young men."
