Sam Jones III is 20 today. He is the
youngest cast member in Smallville, and while he may not be old enough
to drink yet, he is definitely old enough to make our hearts beat just
a little faster everytime we see him on our screens! Congratulations
Sam on your 20th birthday, and also, congrats on a great episode of
The Practice a couple of weeks ago...

Here is The WB's official description of next week's Smallville
"Clark (Tom Welling) stumbles upon a robbery of a LuthorCorp truck
carrying kryptonite and is stunned to realize he can' stop the thieves
because they are as strong as he is. To keep Clark from going to the
police, the thugs attack Jonathan (John Schneider) and Martha (Annette
O'Toole), leaving Clark feeling powerless and desperate for a way to
protect his parents."
"Witness" will guest star Zachery
Ty Bryan (who was one of the "Home Improvement" kids along with
Jonathan Taylor Thomas, guest star of the "Dichotic" episode).

remaining episodes of Smallville's season 2: "The
action heats up on SMALLVILLE on April 29 when, for the first time in
his life, Clark fights adversaries who posses a strength equal to his
own. On May 6, Lana's life is threatened by a terrifying ghost from
her childhood and, in a stunning two-part season finale airing on May
13 and May 20, Clark must decide whether his love for Lana and his
family will come before his destiny to rule the Earth."

Here is The WB's official description of next week's Smallville
episode "Precipice": "After Lana (Kristin Kreuk) is almost
assaulted by a college student (guest star), Clark (Tom Welling) loses
control and injures the boy. When the Kents (John Schneider, Annette
O'Toole) are sued for punitive damages that could cost them the farm,
Clark begins to question his powers while trying to find a way out of
the lawsuit. Meanwhile, Helen's (Emmanuelle Vaugier) ex-boyfriend
arrives in town intent on winning her back, but when she turns him
down, he stabs her, prompting Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) to take the law
into his own hands. Allison Mack, Sam Jones III and John Glover also
star. Thomas J. Wright directed the episode written by Clint
Carpenter." This will be Camille Mitchell's first appearance as
the new sheriff in town, Sheriff Nancy Adams.

Season 1 is beginning is Japan every Sunday at 6pm on NHK. Last
Tuesday in the Philippines, Smallville's first season finale aired,
and the following weeks, fans got to see the second season's premiere
(channel Studio 23). In Australia, fans will get to finally begin
season two Saturday April 5, 2003 and will air every Saturday at
7.30pm on Channel 9. In Singapore, season two will begin April 28,

Remember the popular comedy series Home Improvement? The story of
a family with three boys. Well, the two eldest sons where played by
Zachery Ty Bryan and Jonathan Taylor Thomas. We saw Jonathan guest
star in the episode "Dichotic". Now, look out for Zachery, he will
guest star in the upcoming episode "Witness".

Ross), we have learnt that a special partnership will be

Starting in April 2003, the WB will be teaming up with Elektra
Records for a 10-city campus tour, which will include live concerts
and appearances. So far, we know that Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor) is on board, along with
starts from other WB shows. Bands include Socialburn and The Format.
The first location has been announced as Kent State University, Kent,
OH, on April 17, 2003, between 3pm and 7pm. Admissions is free. Check

Joseph Adalian, Television Editor for
Variety.com, reports that The WB has
renewed Smallville for 2003-2004, it's third season. In another
article, Mr. Adalian reports that Smallville producers Al Gough and
Miles Millar are guaranteed to remain the showrunners for the series
for its critical fourth season as well, after signing a 2-year 7-digit
contract with The WB network. This will ensure creative consistency,
as well as guaranteeing it's syndication.

Well, there's a new sheriff now, and her name is Sheriff Nancy Adams.

will be starring in his first movie role named "cheaper by the Dozen".
His role will be that of the eldest son of a large family, with
parents Steve Martin ("Bringing Down the House") and Bonnie Hunt ("The
Bonnie Hunt Show"), and sister Hilary Duff ("Lizzie McGuire", "Agent
Cody Banks"). The movie will be directed by Shawn Levy and produced by
20th-Century Fox. Shooting will begin March 31.

The new Smallville soundtrack is selling strong! Yahoo News
reports that the CD was a new entry at number 31 of the Top 50 and
sold 33,000 copies. Apparently, no other soundtrack has sold as many
copies in its first week since "Sopranos 2" in May 2001.

dated February 27, 2003. His latest project is the horror movie
"Ginger Snaps". Johnson also talks about his character's death in

Opening today is "Shanghai Knights", a follow-up to "Shanghai
Noon", starring Owen Wilson and Jackie Chan. The movie is written by
the Smallville executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar.
