Airdate: September 2009
07/12 - Spooky things happened at Ned's campus so he and a friend named
Brianna, who knows about Melinda's gift, called Melinda asap instead of
calling the police. Ned and Brianna thinks it's one of Brianna's now dead
friends Gwen Collier who's doing all this. Brianna and Gwen had a falling
out after Brianna told Gwen's boyfriend that she made out with another
guy. So Gwen blamed Brianna for her boyfriend dumping her which could
explain why Gwen is now haunting Brianna. One of the spooky happenings is
a chain email that Brianna received from Gwen's email adress a few days
after the later died. The email said that if it wasn't forwarded before
the day was over, she or someone she loved would suffer. The email also
clearly stated that it should not be deleted or bad things would continue
happening. Brianna is afraid because she deleted said email. Bad things
happened and, strangely, the email now included a testimonial that
explained what happened.... Eli and Jim also appear. Source:

Question: Is there still time to
get producers of Ghost Whisperer to change their minds about this
five-year flash forward?
I think it's a mistake. -- Claire Ausiello: Don't think so. Any and all hope of getting them
to un-ring the time jump bell was pretty much lost on Tuesday when they put
out a casting call for Melinda and Jim's now-5-year-old son Aiden.

A Ghost Whisperer insider confirms that producers of the CBS drama are
toying with the idea of kicking the new season off five years into the
future. The move would allow the show to introduce Jim and Melinda's son as
a pre-schooler instead of as a newborn.
As you'll recall, the season ended with Melinda learning that her offspring
would possess psychic powers even greater than her own. Probably a tough
story to do with a burping, teething toddler.
From spoilernews.com
Ghost Whisperer
is considering doing a time jump when Melinda and Jim’s son is in
preschool. This is when they found out that their son has better psychic
abilities then Melinda. I’m not sure how this would effect the show. I
think sometimes when you time jump it’s hard to get the story straight
afterwards, like it has to go in that direction for sure.

02/02 - With Sam's help, Melinda struggles to solve the mystery of a
haunting at a local kindergarten before any children are hurt -- but her
supernatural revelations may drive a wedge between her and the
increasingly skeptical Sam. Sad Ghost/Greer Clarkson: A pretty but
obviously anguished ghost in her mid to late 20s, she's the spirit of a
woman who died in the mental hospital shortly after giving birth to her
only child, whom she supposedly drowned after falling into a deep
post-partum depression. Now, Greer haunts her former sanatorium, which was
recently converted into a kindergarten. But whether she is a dangerous
psychotic bent on vengeance or a wronged victim intent on protecting the
kindergarteners from harm is a troubling mystery that Melinda must unravel
-- and fast. Dr. Byrd: A brisk, efficient psychiatrist in his 50s, seen in
flashback, he's present at Greer's fatal electro-convulsive therapy
treatment. Greer's trusted counselor, he is actually the uneasy and
malevolent spirit of a deceased doctor whose pernicious and destructive
presence has survived the decades, doing harm to those in both the spirit
and living worlds. Possible recur. Doug Clarkson: A kindly, likeable man
in his early 50s, he's a happily married family man who talks to Melinda
about the mother he never knew, namely, Greer Clarkson. He wishes he could
have had a chance to express his love to Greer, who died in a mental
hospital when he was still an infant. Thanks to Melinda's kind
intervention, he is finally able to get his wish. Rosalyn Hartsell: A
warm, efficient woman in her 30s, she's the head of Early Start
Kindergarten, which used to be a local mental asylum. She knows and likes
Sam, who helped in a recent renovation of the school. Believing Sam and
Melinda to be a couple looking for a school for their unborn child, she
shows them around the premises. Later, she is horrified when an entire
kindergarten class goes missing. Penny Stovall: This dedicated
kindergarten teacher, 25 years old, works at the Early Start Kindergarten.
Disturbed when a young charge writes a bizarre message on the chalkboard,
she's even more upset and horrified when her entire class goes suddenly
missing. Jill: Melinda's friend, this female police officer in her early
30s explains the nature of the emergency at the Head Start Kindergarten.
Straight-jacket Ghost: The male ghost of a former mental patient in his
40s, this anxious, glazed-eyed ghost has also been systematically bullied
and terrified by the pernicious Dr. Byrd. Todd: This kindergartner, 5
years old, upsets his teacher, Penny Stovall, when he scrawls a disturbing
message on the chalkboard -- and the fact that he can't even write yet
makes the incident doubly creepy. Todd's mother: Todd's mother, late 20s
to early 30s, she's vastly relieved to be reunited with her missing son --
but she's frightened by his inexplicably odd behavior. Source: SpoilerTV

Arnell Powell. Source: CBS
02/02 - Ben: 30's, This high powered businessman is now working for the
department of water and power in Grandview as a mechanic, after walking up
3 years ago with no memory of himself. What he doesn't know is that he has
been a "Step In" like Sam, for the past three years, but without the
support from other people. A "Step In" is a person that either died or had
a near death experience and was brought back to life with another spirit
in the host body, the original spirit does not return. Hence, the reason
behind why Ben can't remember anything before his accident. Ben is
thoroughly convinced that he is crazy and dangerous, but he doesn't know
why. Ben is "disturbed" but not brain damaged, he has a conscience.

Episode 4.21: Cursed
Airdate: April 17, 2009
02/08 - When a little girl communicates with the spirits trapped in a
haunted dollhouse, Melinda suspects that the restless dead may have
pernicious designs on the living. Lucy: In her mid to late 30s, she's a
put-together single mother with a bit of an edge. Lucy has been raising
her niece, Emma, ever since Emma's family died, apparently from carbon
monoxide poisoning. Lucy has a troubled relationship with Emma, who will
inherit the bulk of her family's considerable estate when she turns 18,
just days away. In fact, Emma is the only one standing between Lucy and a
fortune, and Melinda suspects that Lucy has been dabbling in voodoo with
evil intentions. Despite suspicious appearances, Lucy may actually be a
loving, concerned aunt whose intentions towards Emma have been seriously
misconstrued, not only by her niece, but by the uneasy spirits of her
dead, dangerously resentful relatives. Emma: Just about to turn 18 (must
work as a legal 18), she seems like a typical teen -- until we learn of
her tragic past. The sole survivor of a tragic accident that claimed the
lives of her family, Emma is now being raised by her aunt Lucy. Emma is
very close to her 7 year old cousin Drew, but feels emotionally distant
from her aunt. An heiress who inherits a fortune when she turns 18, Emma
is suspicious of her aunt's motives, and those fears are exacerbated by a
mysterious dollhouse that seems haunted by the spirits of her dead family,
who also suspect the worst. But as Emma later learns, she, her aunt, and
her departed loved ones may all be the well-meaning victims of a gross
misapprehension. Drew Stanton: This cute 7 year old girl (please submit 7
to small 10 year olds) discovered a mysterious dollhouse in her attic, and
now spends most of her time communing with the spirits who are trapped
within. Drew is very close to her cousin, Emma, who lost her family and is
now being raised by her aunt Lucy, Drew's mother. Drew is upset by the
whispered insinuations of the spirits, who accuse her mother of
unspeakable acts. Terrified and confused, Drew doesn't know whether the
spirits are perniciously motivated or simply mistaken. Zoe: This exuberant
character in her early to mid 30s is Eli's fellow professor, a loopy but
grounded individual who is Eli's "old friend and maybe more." An expert in
voodoo practices, she consults with Eli about Melinda's recent discovery
in the dollhouse. Although her chatty manner can drive Eli crazy, there's
still a strong affection between these two. Father Ghost: The spirit of
Emma's father, in his early 40s, he seems trapped within the dollhouse
facscimile of his family home, now destroyed. He whispers dreadful
insinuations about his sister Lucy and her intentions towards his
daughter, Emma. However, as Melinda later discovers, the circumstances of
the family's deaths might actually have been the result of pure accident,
not design, as the spirits now suspect. Mother Ghost: This mother ghost,
in her late 30s, also lost her life, apparently in a tragic accident. Now
trapped in a dollhouse, she also suspects that Lucy may have lethal
intentions towards her daughter, Emma -- but her suspicions are later
dispelled, thanks to Melinda's intervention. Waitress: This frazzled
waitress in her early 20s apologizes for giving Jim and Melinda the wrong
check. Boy Ghost: The ghost of Emma's little brother, 12 years old, he
alerts his parents about the lovely "light" that has just appeared.
