Congratulations to Allysa Milano (Phoebe) who got married 8/15 to long-time beau David Bugliari.
Rose McGowan (Paige) is
very busy with many projects! She appears in a recurring role on "Nip/Tuck"
on FX next year, and she will star in the movie "Red Sonja", among other
things.
Greg Vaughan (Dan) has a
role on "90210" on The CW. He appeared for the past 6 years
on "General Hospital" as Lucky.
Since Alyssa Milano's television series is not going forward, rumors are
resurfacing that she may be just the person to recreate the role of Brenda
on General Hospital.
For many, Vanessa Marcil (the previous Brenda) is irreplaceable. However,
Marcil will be unable to return to GH for some time to come, and the show is
sagging badly in the ratings lately. It needs a shot in the arm. Milano, who
was discussed as a possible Brenda before her TV series was picked up, might
be just the one to help raise them.
Shannen
Doherty (ex-Prue) might join the cast of "90210", the update of "Beverly
Hills, 90210", on The CW.

Movie Launches Lifetime's Second Annual 'Living Healthy' Initiative to
Encourage Viewers to Make Healthy Lifestyle Decisions and Promote
Tolerance
LOS ANGELES, January 2, 2007 -- Kaley Cuoco ("8 Simple Rules") and
Caroline
Rhea ("The Biggest Loser") star in the Lifetime Original Movie "To Be
Fat
Like Me," the story of an attractive high school junior who experiences
first-hand the extreme prejudice and heartbreak overweight teens face
when
she attends class undercover in a fat suit and prosthetics as part of a
statewide film competition. "To Be Fat Like Me" also explores the idea
of
intolerance for the overweight even within one's own family. The telefilm
is
inspired by the true story and experiences of New York teen Ali Schmidt,
who
went undercover for a 2003 network news special on obesity. "To Be Fat
Like
Me" premieres Monday, January 8, 2007 at 9pm ET/PT on Lifetime
Television.
In "To Be Fat Like Me," athletic and popular high school junior Aly
(Cuoco),
always planned on getting into college by landing a softball
scholarship.
But when a sports injury leaves her sidelined, Aly decides to enter a
documentary film contest in hopes of winning the prize money to pay for
college.
Convinced that her overweight younger brother Adam and mother Madelyn
(Rhea)
use their struggles with weight as an excuse for all that is wrong in
their
lives, Aly arms herself with a fat suit and hidden camera to find out
the
truth as the subject of her film entry. With the help of her classmate
Janie
and neighbor Warren, a resourceful make-up artist, Aly devises a plan to
attend summer classes at a rival high school where no one knows the real
"Aly" and shows up on campus as a 250-pound student.
Although she expected some negative reactions, Aly is shocked by the
level
of cruelty she encounters. Having anticipated that her naturally buoyant
personality would eventually win over her fellow students, Aly is
surprised
at the assumptions and judgments being made about her. Her confidence is
quickly shattered when she is teased, mocked and harassed and Aly soon
begins to understand how intolerant she has been of her own family's
weight
issues.
More than 60 million people in America are obese and the percentage of
young
people who are overweight has tripled since 1980. "To Be Fat Like Me" is
a
pivotal component of Lifetime's annual "Living Healthy" campaign,
encouraging health and well-being, including body image, fitness and
diet.
Lifetime is joining with nonprofit organizations, such as Girls Inc. and
the
National Women's Health Resource Center, to promote these messages of
health, as well as tolerance, and for a PSA with Kaley Cuoco to follow
the
film.
"To Be Fat Like Me" is produced by Ardmore Productions for Lifetime
Television. Mike Jacobs, Jr. (Lifetime Television's "Their Second
Chance")
and Michael Givens ("Mrs. Lambert Remembers Love") serve as executive
producers. Paul Rayman ("The Engagement Ring") and Michael Shepard
("Imaginary Playmate") produced and Doug Barr (Lifetime Television's
"For
the Love of a Child") directed. The telefilm is written by Michelle
Lovretta
("Instant Star").

01/20 - Brad Kern reveals: The goal for me is to take the series
out the way it began. It's interesting that one of the criticisms,
rightfully so, is about the lack of sisterhood, but I'm building to
it being all about sisters. Even when we talk about Kaley Cuoco's
Billie, we're going to be bringing her sister, Christy, into the
show [played by recent Supernatural guest star Marnette Patterson],
working around the final ultimate battle. That seems kind of poetic
because that's what the series has fundamentally always been about,
and that's how it will end.

torture a young male witch named Ryan who, it turns out, supposedly
tortured those demons for a year. They are stopped by one of the
Triad, Candor, who is with Christy. Candor tells the demons to let
Ryan go as Magic School is not the place they will get their
revenge. The Triad are trying to change the world and Ryan is
nothing in that plan. The Noxons must let Ryan escape and now want
to also seek revenge on Candor who prevented them from taking care
of the teen. Billie tries to explain to her parents why Christy
doesn't want to see them. Later, Billie asks Christy what is going
on with her. During the Jenkins sisters have this chat, Jen, another
Magic School student, and Ryan come to the manor in search of Leo
since he is the one who had trapped the demons in Magic School and
enchanted them so they could be used in Advanced Combat classes.
Christy can see Ryan and becomes agitated as he can ID her. The
students explain to Piper that the demons got out last week and are
now after all students who were in that class; Jen and Ryan are the
remaining two. Since Leo is not there, Piper agrees to help the
students. Candor asks the Noxons for help so to push the balance
between good and evil, and while doing so, they will hurt the
Charmed Ones, Leo, and everyone they hold dear. Coop (aka Cupid)
travels in time with Phoebe. We will see flashbacks from episodes
such as "Pardon My Past." Coop wants to use Phoebe's past lives and
past to help her understand more why her current love life is at a
still. Paige and Henry spend some quality time together.

TV series someday. As for Rose, she stated in Dreamwatch magazine that
she thinks this is the last season for Charmed, but either way it is the

General Season 8 Spoilers:
01/20 - [When asked if Prue or Cole could be back for the back half
of the season, Brad Kern answers:] "In my ideal world... The huge
problem I have to deal with this year is the budget cutback. I'm
trying to save money each episode so I can afford to bring back as
many of the regular cast members as possible. Who that will be, I
don't know, but my plan is to have the equivalent of a "family
reunion" including as many people as I can afford. I'm not going to
be able to get Julian McMahon back [as Cole]; I twisted his arm, and
begged and bribed him to come back for the 150th episode last year,
which he so lovingly offered to do. But that doesn't mean I don't
have flashbacks! [Laughs] I can pull back the celluloid. The goal
for me is to take the series out the way it began. It's interesting
that one of the criticisms, rightfully so, is about the lack of
sisterhood, but I'm building to it being all about sisters. Even
when we talk about Kaley Cuoco's Billie, we're going to be bringing
her sister, Christy, into the show [played by recent Supernatural
guest star Marnette Patterson], working around the final ultimate
battle. That seems kind of poetic because that's what the series has
fundamentally always been about, and that's how it will end.

11/25 - Ivan Sergei reveals: [I'll be on Charmed for] the rest
of the season. I know that I am going to find out that Paige is a
witch. I think it's going to be a fun kind of episode where I'm
having a bad week, so she tells the fairies to stop stealing my keys
and tells the leprechauns to help me out a bit, so I, like, win the
lottery and stuff like that.

08/24 - "I keep hearing that Shannen Doherty is coming back to
Charmed this season. Is it true?" Ausiello: I ask exec producer Brad
Kern this question every time we talk — and his response usually
goes something like this: "Um, are you nuts?!?!?" But considering
this will likely be the show's last season, it stands to reason that
Prue would pay a visit in the final episode, right? Wrong. "I can't
imagine she would," Kern admits, adding, "I can't imagine she'd want
to. I'm not averse to picking up the phone and asking, but it's hard
for me to imagine that she would want to."

08/17 - Brad Kern: "There's every likelihood" that this will be
the show's final season. "The girls' contracts are up this season,
and I wouldn't imagine that they would want to, or should be
expected to, come back after devoting pretty much their entire 20s
to Charmed. But you can never say never." Kern, who's keeping open
the possibility of a spin-off built around Kaley Cuoco's new witch,
said this season viewers will see a shift in focus "more toward the
girls' personal lives. It's going to be fun to watch their Sex and
the City-like antics as they try to do something they've never done
before, which is try to lead normal lives."

last season of Charmed, fans are eagerly waiting for what Alyssa Milano
will come up with next. Born and raised in Brooklyn to Italian-American
parents, Milano started acting on the stage in a national tour of
"Annie" at the age of eight.
She rose to teen stardom as the tomboyish Samantha Micelli on the
ABC sitcom Who's the Boss, which ran from 1984-1992. Never really making
the transition to feature films, she appeared in sleazy made-for-TV
movies, provocative ad campaigns, and nude photographs. In one of her
more prominent TV performances, she portrayed Amy Fisher in Casualties
of Love: The Long Island Lolita Story on CBS in 1993. Her few
feature film credits include the quirky romantic comedy Hugo Pool and
the thriller Below Utopia, starring Ice-T. She joined the cast of
Melrose Place on FOX for the 1997-1998 season before moving over to the
WB for Charmed, co-starring Shannen Doherty and Holly Marie Combs. n
the late '90s, she released several pop/rock albums, which did quite
well in Japan. She also married and divorced rocker August Cinjun Tate
from the post-grunge band Remy Zero before embarking on a series of
other well-publicized celebrity relationships. Since the popularity
of Charmed, she's appeared in major television ad campaigns and the
comedies Kiss the Bride, Buying the Cow, and Dickie Roberts: Former
Child Star. After winning several legal battles involving her nude
images on the Internet, Milano helped to launch the

New season started filming July 18, 2005. However, there will MANY
MANY changes due to budget restrictions. In my opinion, very sad news:
Leo (Brian Krause) will only be on 10 episodes and we no longer will see
Inspector Morris (Dorian Gregory). They want to get more higher-priced
guest stars. They made a new shooting shcedule so that the actresses
will be working fewer hours. Kaley Cuoco will play a witch-in-training
in the first 5 episodes. Jason Lewis (sex in the city) will appear in a
6-episode arc. He will play Phoebe's love interest.

Charmed hires
Kaley Cuoco as witch-in-training By Lila Holland
Experience the power of four when Kaley Cuoco of ABC's 8 Simple
Rules joins the cast of The WB's magical hit Charmed this fall. The
Charmed sisters will welcome a new witch into their friendly fold this fall,
when Kaley Cuoco joins the cast as a regular character. Charmed came close
to an early demise this spring, when many assumed it would be cancelled due
to steadily declining ratings over the past two seasons. The WB gave the
series a stay of execution, however, and it will return for an eighth season
in its customary Sunday-night timeslot. Cuoco, who played Bridget Hennessy
in ABC's recently canceled 8 Simple Rules, will take on the role of a young
witch under the tutelage of the Charmed trio (Alyssa Milano, Rose McGowan ,
and Holly Marie Combs). This will be her first regular role in a drama
series. In addition to her Rules role, Cuoco has appeared in TV movies and
miniseries on ABC and NBC. She will be joined in the Charmed cast by fellow
newcomer Mark McGrath, who will appear in several episodes this fall.

Holly Marie
Combs: Charming New Mom
February 9, 2005 by Lynn Barker Credit: Lynn Barker
After the cake munching, press members got to chat with the cast of
Charmed on the attic set of their San Francisco manor house. We were
warned not to get any cake crumbs in the Book of Shadows as we sat down
with Holly, who walked in wearing jeans, black tank and brown jacket and
carrying a big vanilla latte which she explained that she needed as the
sleep-deprived mom of a 10 month old.
TeenTelevision: What has having a baby done to change you?
Holly: Its changed just about everything about my life. It
definitely puts everything in perspective. Things that were so important to
you mean absolutely nothing and the status of his diaper means absolutely
everything.
TeenTelevision: What is it like looking back on the season one
shows that are on the DVD?
Holly: You know, in some respects, it seems just like yesterday
and in other ways it seems like a lifetime ago. I remembered all my dialogue
and now there have been so many shows, I look back and I go, I have no idea
what Im going to do next. I have no idea what I'm going to say next. I'm
like wow, that was a long time ago. But its a testament to the show itself.
Its been fun and its flown by.
TeenTelevision: Is it a different dynamic today with Rose instead
of Shannen?
Holly: I don't know. It kind of seems the same kind of dynamic.
We were three women thrust into this atmosphere where we kind of have to
band together and get through the day and I think we still do the same thing
, although I have a few less wrinkles in that picture (on the DVD cover).
