Tara Maclay

Tara

Tara Maclay, 20, is Willow’s lover and wiccan partner. She has been slowly becoming a integral part of the gang. Tara’s mother was also wiccan, and died when she was very young. The Maclay family have an old family legend to keep the women in check, that the women turn into demons at 20 or so. During Tara’s 20th birthday, her family arrived to take her home. Although, the gang found out Tara was a demon, they still wouldn’t let them take her. She was know a scooby. Spike knew what was happening and hit Tara really hard in the nose. His chip went off, meaning Tara was full human. Buffy warned the family and told them too leave, without Tara. She helped the gang, many times with spells and such, but was turned crazy, when Glory brain sucked her. Willow was left heartbroken, trying to turn her back. Finally in the season finale, Willow did so, returning Tara to normal, and hurting Glory, a lot. She currently lives with Willow, in her dorm room.
