BRAVO MEDIA STARTS SUMMER WITH A “BIG BANG” AS THE EMMY-WINNING SERIES “INSIDE THE ACTORS STUDIO” WELCOMES JIM PARSONS ON THURS, JUNE 18 AT 8PM ET/PT
NEW YORK – June 4, 2015 – Bravo Media’s Emmy Award-Winning “Inside the Actors Studio,” hosted by James Lipton, salutes critically-acclaimed actor Jim Parsons on Thursday, June 18th at 8pm ET/PT in hot pursuit of his new Broadway play, “An Act of God.” Parsons is best known for his portrayal of Sheldon Cooper in CBS’s “The Big Bang Theory” which earned him four Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe. He made his Broadway debut in 2011 as Tommy Boatwright in “The Normal Heart,” and later reprised the role in the 2014 film adaptation for which he received his seventh Emmy Award nomination. Earlier this year, Parsons played the voice of Oh in the Dreamworks Animation movie “Home.”
“Having an incredibly well-rounded, successful run in theater, film and television, Jim Parsons arrived on our stage for one of the most joyful – and hilarious – evenings in the 21-year history of “Inside the Actors Studio,” said James Lipton.
In the episode, Parsons delves into his Houston theater roots that have stayed with him throughout his career, his consistent connection to his late father which he experiences in his everyday life, and what he deems his perfectly “boring” relationship with partner Todd Spiewak. He also explains what it takes to be a true “nerd” and why he feels that Lipton falls into that category as well. Additionally, the thespian taps into his character roles as the Actors Studio host speaks candidly with both Sheldon and “God,” and later Parsons even discusses the genesis of “The Big Bang Theory” pilot.

from http://bigbangtheory.wikia.com
"The Champagne Reflection" is the tenth episode of the eighth season of the American sitcom The Big Bang Theory. The episode will air on Thursday, November 20, 2014.
Summary: Howard, Raj and Leonard cleanup the life's work of another professor who passed away, Bernadette faces up to her bullying and Sheldon records the last episode of "Fun with Flags".
Extended plot: Sheldon is working on the final episode of "Sheldon Cooper presents Fun with Flags." Amy sets off a party popper than scares Sheldon. After only 232 episodes the Internet series is over. 233 if Amy hadn't failed to hit the record button on a Fourth of July episode.
Leonard, Howard and Raj are cleaning out Professor Roger Abbot's office, throwing out a life's work and wondering if there are any important discoveries among the files. At the bottom of a drawer, they find a 50 year old bottle of champagne with a note from Professor Abbot's mother. The bottle is to be opened after he makes a great discovery. While Leonard is reflective, Howard thinks it's funny that his name sounds like Roger Rabbit.
Penny and her boss Dan are at a company banquet and he is quite happy with his newest employee that is third in sales. They are also waiting for Bernadette which bothers Dan. She had been mean to his grandson at the company picnic. When Bernadette arrives, Dan disappears.
Amy and Sheldon are looking over the highlights of his Fun with Flag series. Amy appears in a kangaroo costume, Sheldon is dressed as Betty Ross, both of them are on a beach and Barry Kripke is a guest playing the game "Fwag, Not a fwag" as picture cards are flashed in front of him.
Leonard is reviewing some of Professor Abbot's notebooks that are full of numbers. He wonders what the professor was working on and wants to find some time on the supercomputer to decrypt the notebooks. Raj tells him to talk to the fellow he shared the office with, Professor Sharpe.
At the banquet, they are talking about Dan's grandson and how he got called a wuss. Bernadette tells them that her Dad always taught her to stand up for herself. Penny points out that she can be rough on people at times, while Bernadette still sees her as the sweetest person she knows.
Levar Burton is back as a FWF's guest. Sheldon shows Levar the episode where he dressed up as George Washington Carver for Black History Month. His black-face tribute offended Leonard and Levar, thought Sheldon missed Levar's revulsion.
The guys visit Professor Sharpe's apartment to discuss the notebooks Leonard had found. Sharpe explains that it is a caloric diary Professor Abbot had kept under the assumption that restricting calories was the key to living forever. As to his physics work, Professor Abbot had accomplished very little.
Penny continues to discuss Bernadette's bullying. She can still be tough, but not be so mean at it like telling Penny that her new pants look like a soggy diaper. People find her quite intimidating and Bernadette has to show them how sweet she is.
Sheldon finishes his final episode throwing a salute to all his viewers and wishing he could run them up a flagpole. He thanks Amy and mentions that she is the first woman to co-host a flag or banner-related internet show. Amy adds, "Take that, glass ceiling shatterers!" Sheldon gets very sentimental as he signs off. Amy says that she thinks it was beautiful and all Sheldon can do is stop asking if she hit the record button.
Throwing out the last of his files, Leonard sighs that that is the end of Roger Abbot. Raj adds that they still have Bugs Bunny. Not everyone achieves something great in their lives. The guys decide to save the champagne and open it to toast each other when one of them make a great discovery and rub the success in Sheldon's face.
Penny and Bernadette approach Dan at the bar so she can apologize. Dan is nervous talking to her. The company had been paying for Bernadette coffee and gave her a private bathroom due to her attitude. Bernadette feels terrible and wants to quit, but Dan says that the company needs her. She starts to sob and Dan tells her that they will still pickup her coffee and Bernadette has found a new way to get what she wants.
Leonard returns home with the bottle of champagne. Sheldon is hunched over his laptop not getting any comments on his last FWF episode. Then one short note arrives that someone was sorry it ended causing Sheldon to bring the series back. He wants to celebrate and opens up the 50 year old bottle. He didn't want to drink it, he just wanted to hear the pop, though it still scared him.
Finally, Sheldon visits Levar's house to tell him that the show is back. Since Levar was born in Germany would he like to help with an episode on German flags? And would he mind dressing up as a swastika? The door is slammed in his face.
