"Battlestar Galactica" is a science fiction show about a group of humans who survived the genocide of their race and are trying to find their ancestral home, Earth.  They are also fleeing from the Cylons, who are hunting them through the universe for their own purposes.  The Cylons are a race of robots that were originally built by the humans, but they now look just like humans and often act like them.  The two races have a long violent history of conflict..  Loosely based on the 70's version of the show, it a fantastic show, perhaps one of the best on television, due to its exciting writing, gritty style and solid acting.
