(This is a short recap; we hope to have a longer, more detailed summary

gang are in a park discussing what the Wolfram & Hart partners
are up to and whom exactly they can trust. They are even questioning
each other considering what they have been through. They have gained
a lot as well as lost.
Borrowing Wesley’s new sterling silver pen (engraved with his name)
Angel races off to save a damsels in distress. While jogging the
women is attacked and bitten by a werewolf. Angel kills the beast
with the pen. The woman takes off in her car. The gang now have to
Spike needs help he’s getting worse. His disappearances are lasting
longer; something is trying to hold him on the other side. Fred said
he’d have to wait until they find the bitten women.
A Dr. Royce examines the werewolf/man body to help them understand
what they will be dealing with when they find the women. The
werewolf is different K-9’s are longer and stands up right.
The woman awakes in her room. She doesn’t remember the attack but
knows something is different. Her senses are heightened, her neck is
purple, and she smells blood and has a vision of attacking her young
The gang are frantic trying to find her. After a sighting and
vehicle match they find her address and name, Nina Ash.
Back at home Nina is babysitting her niece but feels strange and
goes to her room to lie down. She turns into a werewolf. As her
niece calls from the other side of the door Angel appears and they
fall out the window. Wesley fires a tranquilizer into her.
Nina awakes naked in a holding cell. Angel comes to her and helps
her remember and explain what had happen and shows her a videotape
of her transformation. He knows how she feels being a monster
himself. She can control the monster inside her with his
help. He can’t cure her but he can keep her safe.
Dr. Royce tells Angel and Fred that having something familiar might
sooth Nina and makes things easier when she transforms again into a
werewolf. Fred with security takes Nina home to get a few things.
Nina questions with interest Angel’s love life and Fred explains
that he really doesn’t have one.
The women are attacked and though Fred puts up a good fight, the
masked men take Nina away. She is chained up, stripped and washed
Dr. Royce gets read by Lorne and sings “Jessie’s Girl” by Rick
Angel is weighed down with Nina’s werewolf problem and her
kidnapping, not to mention Spikes return.
Fred follows Spike through the office (walls) and discovers a vile
in Dr. Royce’s office. She knocks him out. The vile was a mystical
drug that hid his reading. He is working for the person who had Nina
Nina is being held at a Mr. Krane’s who is holding a high price
plate dinner with werewolf for the main course. Angel, Gunn and
Wesley come to save her. Again Wesley shoots her with a tranquilizer
but it doesn’t work the first time and she bites Dr. Royce who will
be on next month’s dinner menu.
Spike appears in Fred’s office, barely. He didn’t think he was
coming back. He’s scared and desperate and Fred will do anything to
Angel returns Nina to her home. She asks him how he lives with the
knowledge that he’s killed people. He tells her that one day she
will realize that now it is a part of her reality, also if you run
away from the ones you love then the monster wins. She tells him she
will see him next month.
The gang spend an evening of Chinese food and Cosmo’s at Angel’s new
pad. Is there a chance for Angel with the new werewolf girl? Well
she did give him ‘a look.’
“You know that whoosh thing you do when you’re suddenly not there
anymore? I like that.” Angel’s comment to Spike.
“A demon hunting, help the helpless, dysfunctional family.” Fred
explaining Angel and the gang’s relationship.
“Consider me the Jenny Craig for the soul.” Lorne.
“He took the Johnny right out of the rancher.” Lorne.
“Damn it feels good to get my violence on.” Gunn.
“Last gasp before fire and brimstone, let’s party.” Spike.
“Being nearly indestructible is pretty cool.” Angel.
“Ladies and gentlemen hell just froze over.” Lorne’s comment
about Angel splurging for dinner.
