Season Three; Episode Thirteen: "Waiting in the Wings" By Cathy

(This is a short recap; we hope to have a longer, more detailed summary later)

Aired: February 4th, 2002

Wesley, Fred, and Gunn at the balletAngel (David Boreanaz) takes the gang to a ballet production of “Giselle”. Angel had seen it in 1890 and is surprised to see the original cast is still performing it.

Lorne (Andy Hallet) discovers while Angel is singing Connor a lullaby that he has feelings for Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter). While investing backstage at the ‘enchanted ballet’ Angel and Cordy get in a little make out time being under a spell of trapped lover’s spirits.

Wesley (Alexis Denisof) has a heavy crush on Fred (Amy Ackers) but so does Gunn (J. August Richards). Wesley witnesses a kiss between Gunn and Fred. Wesley taking on the spirit of the Count that tells the gang that the Count’s mistress and her lover’s spirits are trapped in the ballet and Angel convinces the prima ballerina (Summer Glau) to change her dance to break the spell.

Poor Angel, as he’s about to confess his true feelings for Cordelia they are interrupted by Grossalugg who has returned from Pylea.

Also starring: Mark Lutz. W & D: Joss Whedon.
