Zoo Season 2 DVD cover

Zoo Season Two

 Review by Suzanne Lanoue 12/1/16

This is a good scifi/horror show. Anyone who likes those type of dramas should enjoy this one. It also has lot of medical terminology and romance besides.

The story is thrilling and fast-paced, so it draws you in. The second season is just as good as the first. I'm hoping it comes back for a third season. It's a fun summer show.

From what I'm reading online, some viewers didn't like some of the changes in the second season; however, that's to be expected. Change is inevitable, and you can't please everyone.

The special features are great. There's a feature called "Metamorphosis: A Look at Season Two of Zoo" and also "Welcome to the Bird." They have a gag reel and deleted scenes as well. It's not a huge selection of extras, but it's enough.

The animal takeover has already entered Phase 2 in the second thrilling season of Zoo. And it doesn't take our heroes long to discover that animals are not only launching coordinated attacks on humans themselves, but are also using more subversive tactics to destroy civilization and make the planet uninhabitable.

James Wolk, Kristen Connolly, Nonso Anozie, and Nora Arnezeder star in the second season of the suspenseful television show, Zoo. Animals have been hunted, enslaved, and slaughtered by humans for millennia...now it's their turn!
