The Twilight Zone: The Complete Series Blu-ray cover

The Twilight Zone: The Complete Series Blu-ray

 Review by Suzanne Lanoue 12/1/16

I was ecstatic to receive this set! I've been watching this show most of my life. I probably saw most of them ten times, yet I can watch them over and over. It's great to have them all.

Most of us grew up watching them in re-runs, especially during holidays. They show them a lot on Syfy or local channels. There have been many remakes of the show as well as a movie, but the original is still the best.

Some episodes are dated, but others are still relevant today and even prescient. Even though it's a good old-fashioned scifi anthology, it also teaches many lessons that everyone should learn. You might even say it's educational. That's the power of Rod Serling's writing that stays true even today.

This DVD set is fabulous because it has tons of extras. Each episode has commentary and other things. It's more than any fan could want or probably even have time to watch. It's extraordinary. I review a lot of DVD's, but this one is amazing.

There are 156 episodes in the set, and you'll no doubt recognize a lot of familiar faces from other TV shows or movies. The features include lots of commentary, interviews, original commercials, some radio plays and more.

Anyone would love this as a gift.
