Supernatural The
Complete Fourteenth Season
Review by Suzanne Lanoue
8/26/19 |
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy
of the Blu-ray I reviewed in this post. The opinions I share
are my own.
I love this show and never miss it. It's
hard to believe that it's been on for 14 seasons! Still, I'm
sad that this upcoming season will be the last. I will
really miss it.
It's such a good show, with great
characters. There's a lot of action, and some of it can get
pretty gory. Most of the time, I don't mind. Sometimes
it can be creepy/spooky/scary, too. I think, like most
fans, I just really love the actors who play Sam, Dean and
Cass, and their interactions with each other. The
characters joke around a lot, but they all love each other
as well.
I really don't like it when they kill off my
favorite characters, though, like Bobby and Crowley. I'm
glad when they can bring some of them back to life. I was
very sad to see Mary go this season. It was fabulous
to see John back and reunited with Mary, though.
Of course, the show is always enjoyable.
Anything can happen, and it does. The season finale
was a real head-scratcher. Did God die? I have no idea.
The guys are in a real bind this season. I can't wait for
the next one! I'll be ready to cry at the end, though...
I have the Blu-Ray + Digital version of the
DVD. It has many great features, some audio commentary,
deleted scenes and the always-wonderful gag reel. Any
fan of the show would love this DVD. I don't think you even
have to have seen the first 13 seasons to enjoy it, either.
There is plenty to see.

The Winchester brothers’ harrowing journey into the
heart of darkness continues as
Supernatural
enters Season Fourteen. Sam (Jared
Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) have matched
wits with monsters, demons, Heaven and Hell. But last
season, the Winchesters and Castiel (Misha Collins)
stumbled upon a terrifying alternative universe: an
apocalyptic world where they were never born, all while
training Jack (Alexander Calvert), the son of Lucifer,
and trying to save their mother, Mary Winchester. The
final battle with Lucifer and the Archangel Michael
altered the Winchesters’ lives forever…and created an
even greater threat for Sam and Dean. The boys are back
and willing to risk everything for their loved ones in
all twenty thrilling new adventures, including a
historic 300th
episode, with a Winchester family reunion never to be
forgotten.
