Star Trek: Discovery - Season Two

 Review by Suzanne Lanoue 11/10/19

I've been watching "Star Trek" and all of its sequels my entire life.I wasn't sure about this new version at first, but I really enjoyed the first season, and this second season is even better. It's more like the original "Star Trek," updated for our modern era.

Anson Mount ("Hell on Wheels") joins the cast as Christopher Pike. I don't want to spoil too much. You should watch it and judge it for yourself. You won't be sorry.

There are many "fan boys" who have trouble with the gay characters in this version of Trek. Get over it. It's the 21st century. Deal.

There are many great features on the DVD set, as you can see below. I suggest buying the Blu-ray.

Highly acclaimed STAR TREK: DISCOVERY: SEASON TWO will be arriving on Blu-ray and DVD on November 12 from CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment.

The Blu-ray and DVD release will include over two hours of exclusive special features, plus two episodes of SHORT TREKS following STAR TREK: DISCOVERY: SEASON TWO: “Runaway,” featuring Ensign Sylvia Tilly and “The Brightest Star” featuring Commander Saru.
