South Park: The Complete Twelfth Season

by Suzanne 3/19/09

This was the worst season of South Park ever. I'm a regular viewer of the show. In my opinion, this season was just awful. We'll chalk it up to the writer's strike and hope things get better this season. The episodes just were not very funny, and some of them were downright boring.

If you're a die-hard South Park viewer, you might want to own the set anyway. Who knows, your laugh threshold may be lower than mine, and you may think it's hilarious.

The DVD set has plenty of great extras. First of all, I have to say that all of the sets have had gorgeous covers and the fold-out parts are beautiful. They really don't spare any expense on the set or on the features. There are many features, such as a day-to-day making of the show, a behind the scenes short on the episode "Major Boobage", and another one on "About Last Night". There are also many commentaries by show creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

If you have a Blu-Ray player, you should definitely get the Blu-ray set since that should be awesome, especially in the episode "Major Boobage" that has such high quality graphics.
