Scooby Doo, Where Are You! - The Complete Third Season

Scooby Doo 3rd season dvd

Anyone who grew up watching Saturday morning cartoons in pretty much the last 40 years knows Scooby-Doo well. There have been many different incarnations of it, much like any other classic cartoon, such as Bugs Bunny or The Flintstones.

The original Scooby-Doo series aired in 1969 and 1970. Then it was brought back 1976-1978. This set is from the latter years. If you look on Amazon and their reviews of this set, you will learn that these episodes were filmed for the earlier series but never aired until later.

Either way, it is the same old Scooby gang that we have all loved over the years. I'm sure parts of it may seem dated to younger viewers, but if the kids can get past that, they will enjoy the set. Adults who are nostalgic for their childhood will surely enjoy it.

There are 16 episodes in all, which is quite a lot for a cartoon set, from what I've seen of other DVD's. The only extra on the DVD is a featurette about the creators Hanna Barbera and how they do their work. It is fun to watch.
