Agatha Christie's Poirot: Series 9

 Review by Suzanne Lanoue 11/1/13

I always enjoy the Poirot episodes. If you haven't seen them before... they're more like movies than a TV series. Each episode is very long and has a self-contained mystery. David Suchet plays Poirot splendidly.

There are 4 movies in this disk set and each are very enjoyable. The first one starts with a woman being hanged for a murder! In the second one, a young woman is accused of murder. The third one is "Death on the Nile", which was also a great movie in the 80's. Several people get murdered in that one. The last one has a man murdered, and his wife may or may not have done it.  They are all very good.

If you like murder mysteries, these Poirot mysteries are fun to watch!  Sadly, there are not features or extras. That's a real shame.
