DVD TV Show Reviews

This show was very popular in my high school in the 70's, especially with girls.  We loved to watch Nancy solve mysteries, and we lusted after Shaun Cassidy and Parker Stevenson in The Hardy Boys.  It was a shame that the show did not last very long, but it's great to see it out on DVD finally!

These were two separate shows that alternated each week.  Both were shows about teens solving mysteries.  They should be suitable for any age to watch.  If you are a teen who likes "Veronica Mars", you may enjoy watching these shows (Veronica is a sort of modern-day Nancy Drew).  Of course all of these characters are based on a very popular series of books.

Unfortunately, there are no extras with this set.  It would have been nice to see interviews with the cast (especially now, looking back on the shows).  Shaun Cassidy is a big TV writer and producer now. The shows are fun to watch because there is a lot of music (Cassidy's singing; he was a pop star back then) and great guest-stars.
