I love this show and never miss it. I'm very
sad that the next season is the last one. I think it's
gotten even better now that there are more superheroes in
the Arrowverse.
I guess it makes sense that the show is
ending, now that Oliver is The Green Arrow. We had to watch
him struggle for many years to really figure out who he was
going to be (and what kind of hero he would be). He
was a killer, or someone trying not to be a killer, for most
of the series. Now he's a genuine hero and not just a
vigilante.
This season, Oliver started out in jail.
Eventually, of course, he gets out and begins working with
the police. The show is no longer flashing back to his
past. Instead, it's flashing forward to a possible future
with his future daughter. The end of the series leads
in a very strange way to next season.
I hope they don't kill off Oliver or
Felicity. That would make me very sad. I didn't like
how they've killed off so many people in the show already
(even if some of them have come back from the dead). I
will definitely miss the show.
Anyone who loves superheroes should love
this series. The DVD is great, and you probably won't be too
lost if you watch it without having watched the previous 6
years. Just don't expect it to be too much like the comic
books because it's very different.
There are many great DVD features as always.
They do a very good job with the Arrowverse DVD's.
