The Affair: Season Three DVD cover

 The Affair: Season Three

 Review by Suzanne Lanoue 5/1/17

I always enjoy watching this because it has good characters who have very complex lives. The stories weave through very well without being too confusing. You do get to see everything from all four points of view, which is entertaining. I love Joshua Jackson, though, so I would watch him in almost anything. I loved "Fringe" and "Dawson's Creek" better than this show, but this is a good show. It's just not as much fun as either of those others.

You definitely want to watch the first two seasons of the show before this one, or you will probably be pretty confused!  The writing and acting are superb, as always. I'm glad to see they're continuing with it. It returns for a 4th season! Trailer Probably next Winter...

The extras on the DVD are fun to watch. The cast and crew talk about putting together the series in three different short features.

Alison has been raising daughter Joanie alongside Cole and Luisa in Montauk, but Alison’s past continues to rear its ugly head as Cole and Luisa attempt to build their own future. For Helen, life appears to continue on, but just below the surface of a successful business and a bustling home lies uncertainty with her boyfriend Vik, instability amongst her children, and an unshakeable feeling of guilt.

Betrayal was only the beginning in the unpredictable Showtime original series.
