90210: The Fifth Season

90210: The Fifth Season

 Review by Suzanne Lanoue 10/5/13

I didn't watch the first 4 seasons of this show, so I have no idea who the people are or why I should care about them. Still, I did enjoy watching the 5th season episodes, and it didn't take too much to figure out who was who, and their relationships. It's a good soap. I'm sorry they canceled it, but 5 seasons is a pretty good run for any TV show nowadays.

I did watch the original "Beverly Hills, 90210", and this show is just as good as that one, from what I can tell.

There are a lot of good features on the DVD: cast and crew commentary, tours of the set, a feature about casting, one about how the show went from the script to the screen, a season in review feature, a gag reel, and a retrospective of the show, as well as the usual deleted scenes.

I'm going to have to buy the first four seasons now!
