DVD TV Show Reviews
30 Rock: Season Four
Review by Suzanne 9/21/10
I have always enjoyed this show. It is pretty funny. The humor
is probably more subtle than some shows I like, but it is a very funny show. The
characters are just funny on their own and act very silly, but they are very
likable. And of course, Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin and the others are great!!
Alec Baldwin's character reminds me a bit of William Shatner -
what a great team they would make! They both act very pompous. Both
actors, of course, are not as thin, young and cute as they once were :) but
that's okay, they are still great.
I do tend to love any show that is about TV, especially if it is
well done like this one. They are still funny after 4 years (now starting
their fifth), so that is awesome. They have gotten even funnier every year.
There are tons of behind-the-scenes features on this set. They
show us many scenes from "The Moms" and "I Do Do" as well as many deleted
scenes. They show the entire commercial song for "Tennis Night in America".
There are extended version of two of the episodes "Secret Santa" and "I Do Do".
There are many audio commentaries, and a photo gallery. Also, they have the
episode of "Ace of Cakes" where they make the cakes for the show. It's quite a
lot of material to watch!
The set is great for any 30 Rock fan!
