 TV Show Reviews

part of the cast of The I-Land

Review of "The I-Land" 9/10/19 by Suzanne
airs now on Netflix

This show will remind you of "Lost," but it's very good on its own.  10 people wake up on an island with no memory of who they are or why they're there. That part might remind you of "Maze Runner."  It's a good action/adventure/mystery.  They all realize pretty quickly that they've been put there for some kind of game (and not a fun one!).  People die.

I enjoyed the first episode, but from what I've read, it gets worse. That's too bad because I thought the actors did a good job. There are only 7 episodes, and they go by quickly. The character Chase (played by Natalie Martinez) is more- or-less the lead of the series. I liked her.  The show was panned badly by critics and fans alike. I can't think of any fictional show I would hate enough to say it's the worst show ever, but there is a lot of crap on TV (most of it reality shows).  Give this a try if you feel brave or loved Lost.
