Some of the characters in the first episode

Review of "Love, Death & Robots" 3/17/18 by Suzanne
airs now on Netflix

This is an animated show, but it uses very realistic 3D animation. The people look like characters from video games, but they're very real and look almost live-action.  This is an anthology scifi show. Each episode is separate, but they all involve.... love, death and robots. It's a re-imagining of the "Heavy Metal" movie (1981), which was loosely based on the magazine of the same name.  The stories feature a lot of graphic violence, sex, and nudity, but the stories are compelling and interesting to watch.

You may recognize some famous voices in the cast, such as Topher Grace, Gary Cole and more.

Any fan of scifi should enjoy this series. It's really well done, produced by some big names in film and animated by different animation crews from all over the world. It's clearly a huge project from people who love this genre. You don't want to miss this one if you love animation or scifi.
